00:00:00.220 More things yesterday. MBS is in town yesterday, okay?
00:00:04.220 When he's in town, Ronaldo's there. Musk is there.
00:00:09.020 And while MBS comes in, Trump is going to say hello to him.
00:00:13.480 He slaps Elon Musk in the butt.
00:00:16.820 Rob, you know which one I'm talking about?
00:00:18.340 Yeah, he slaps Elon Musk in the butt, like Vinny was saying earlier,
00:00:21.160 as if, hey, welcome back.
00:00:22.860 You know, as long as you apologize, you're welcome back here.
00:00:26.180 I don't know if you have the clip or not. Is that the one?
00:00:27.940 Okay, right there. Go ahead, Rob.
00:00:30.000 Just a little tap in the belly, checking his six-pack, okay?
00:00:39.560 And then if you want to show Rob the exchange with the media,
00:00:43.640 there's a couple of them.
00:00:44.920 That's one of them, and then we'll go to the other one as well
00:00:47.440 while they're having fun together with the investment that he's making.
00:00:50.060 Is this the whole exchange? Oh, this is the one, Rob.
00:00:52.720 Is this the whole exchange, two minutes?
00:00:54.140 Yeah.
00:00:54.400 Yeah, let's watch this. Go ahead, Rob. Watch this, folks.
00:00:56.020 Is it appropriate, Mr. President, for your family to be doing business in Saudi Arabia
00:01:00.040 while you're president? Is that a conflict of interest?
00:01:02.620 And, Your Royal Highness, the U.S. intelligence concluded
00:01:05.680 that you've orchestrated the brutal murder of a journalist.
00:01:08.440 9-11 families are furious that you are here in the Oval Office.
00:01:11.620 Why should Americans trust you?
00:01:13.340 Who are you with?
00:01:14.000 And the same to you, Mr. President.
00:01:15.000 Who are you with?
00:01:15.680 I'm with ABC News, sir.
00:01:16.780 You're with who?
00:01:17.400 ABC News, sir.
00:01:18.260 Fake news. ABC fake news.
00:01:20.160 One of the worst in the business.
00:01:22.300 But I'll answer your question.
00:01:23.380 Thank you.
00:01:24.060 I have nothing to do with the family business.
00:01:26.300 I have left, and I've devoted 100% of my energy.
00:01:29.900 What my family does is fine.
00:01:31.840 They do business all over.
00:01:33.540 They've done very little with Saudi Arabia, actually.
00:01:35.700 I'm sure they could do a lot.
00:01:36.920 But as far as this gentleman is concerned, he's done a phenomenal job.
00:01:41.360 You're mentioning somebody that was extremely controversial.
00:01:45.020 A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about.
00:01:47.940 Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen.
00:01:50.880 But he knew nothing about it.
00:01:52.480 And we can leave it at that.
00:01:53.600 You don't have to embarrass our guests by asking a question like that.
00:01:56.100 Mr. Chairman, just to ask, Mr. President, you allow me to answer.
00:01:59.200 You know, I feel painful about, you know, families of 9-11 in America.
00:02:06.920 But, you know, we have to focus on reality.
00:02:09.380 Reality, based on CIA documents and based on a lot of documents,
00:02:12.820 that Osama bin Laden, he used Saudi people in that event for one main purpose,
00:02:18.980 is to destroy this relation, to destroy the American-Saudi relation.
00:02:23.000 That's the purpose of 9-11.
00:02:25.320 About the journalists, it's really painful to hear, you know,
00:02:29.880 anyone that's been losing his life for, you know, no real purpose or nothing in a legal way.
00:02:38.120 And it's been painful for us in Saudi Arabia.
00:02:39.960 We've did all the right steps of investigation, et cetera, in Saudi Arabia.
00:02:45.520 And we've improved our system to be sure that nothing happened like that.
00:02:51.060 And it's painful.
00:02:52.280 There's another one that happens as well with the investment of $600 billion, a trillion,
00:02:55.820 if you want to find that.
00:02:56.860 Jeff, what do you think about that exchange?
00:02:58.140 Your report asked, and then MBS actually wanting to answer it,
00:03:03.420 not wanting President to defend him, protect him.
00:03:05.900 Yeah, there's a lot going on here.
00:03:07.520 I think the Saudis are in a lot more trouble than people realize,
00:03:10.860 given oil prices and the oil economy over in Saudi Arabia.
00:03:14.400 And I think there's a huge incentive for, you know,
00:03:17.820 the United States to offer support, but also Saudi Arabia to give them something as well.
00:03:22.060 So I think there's, it's not really about the, you know, these political distractions.
00:03:26.300 It's more about, hey, we've got some real trouble going on here,
00:03:29.260 and we need to get along really well.
00:03:30.880 Brandon, what do you think?
00:03:32.020 Yeah, I 100% agree.
00:03:32.960 I think it's like 80% of their GDP is from oil,
00:03:36.940 and they're putting a huge initiative into building things
00:03:40.020 to make it more of a desirable vacation destination.
00:03:42.480 So, I mean, it's a weird place to take that conversation,
00:03:45.760 like for 9-11 questions and Jamal Khashoggi questions,
00:03:48.700 when there's, you know, a lot more interesting things to talk about than that,
00:03:51.920 and there's, like, very little information about that stuff.
00:03:54.200 So, yeah, I think that the main reason that we're doing a lot of work with them
00:03:57.620 is because we need them, and they need our investment
00:04:00.220 to make it a more desirable vacation destination.
00:04:02.420 Well, here's, Rob, I don't know if you have the other clip
00:04:04.560 where he says ABC should lose their license.
00:04:06.600 Is this the one, Rob?
00:04:07.540 No, I can grab that.
00:04:08.340 He was so unhappy with the question that he comes back explaining to her
00:04:13.720 on how many different news, you know, companies lost lawsuits to him,
00:04:21.060 and then he came back and said this about ABC.
00:04:22.800 Go for it.
00:04:23.700 And people are wise to your hoax, and ABC is, your company,
00:04:27.960 your crappy company is one of the perpetrators.
00:04:30.880 And I'll tell you something, I'll tell you something.
00:04:32.720 I think the license should be taken away from ABC because your news is so fake
00:04:39.580 and it's so wrong.
00:04:40.780 Ninety-seven percent is going to sit here.
00:04:42.600 And we have a great commissioner, the chairman, who should look at that because...
00:04:47.020 Oh, I wish you would let it finish because the next thing he says right there
00:04:50.540 is about the fact that there's a reason because the average audience,
00:04:54.380 if they hear that, they're going to say you can't just go take a license out.
00:04:57.640 There's a part where he says, when 97% of your news was attacking me,
00:05:05.320 is that the part, Rob?
00:05:07.140 Did you find it?
00:05:08.580 I'm listening to it right now.
00:05:11.060 Yeah, he gets to it where he says 97%.
00:05:13.560 So, yeah, he's obviously not happy with what's going on with these guys.
00:05:17.440 I don't know if you can find it, Rob.
00:05:18.600 I mean, we can come back to it.
00:05:20.080 Tom, what are your thoughts here?
00:05:21.120 I'll tell you what my thoughts are.
00:05:22.240 He campaigned on energy, not independence, not isolationist,
00:05:27.900 but he campaigned on drill, baby, drill.
00:05:30.540 He came right out and he said it, and it's going to be drill, baby, drill.
00:05:34.020 We were there in Washington on the inauguration day where it was a key part of his speech there.
00:05:38.800 He was waving to the crowd, and he said, and drill, baby, drill.
00:05:42.040 And guess what?
00:05:42.880 It's having an effect.
00:05:44.340 And Saudis have a Rubik's Cube they have to solve.
00:05:48.060 They need to cooperate with the United States with regard to Gaza.
00:05:52.240 But they don't want to be seen as patronizing the United States to the other members of OPEC,
00:05:59.360 who are also other Arabic and Muslim countries.
00:06:02.840 They don't want that, but they need it.
00:06:04.960 The price of oil is coming down, which is actually going to help certain things.
00:06:10.400 It's already helping gasoline and then coming up heating while in the United States.
00:06:14.480 Electricity is expensive for other reasons.
00:06:16.180 But then the Saudis have this arms merchant service that they run, and they get a lot of support and arms from us.
00:06:27.060 So they got to kind of – it's like they have to – here's what I think is going on right now with Saudis.
00:06:33.800 The Saudis have to drive a toaster through the car wash and get to the other side without getting electrocuted.
00:06:40.660 And right now there are so many things from economic pressure to political pressure to the war.
00:06:46.880 They got to take their steps.
00:06:48.660 There is a reason that – you take a look at MBS.
00:06:52.020 You've seen him many times.
00:06:53.900 He was not stammering, but he was really searching for words and stuff.
00:06:57.800 He was not the normal MBS, hello, I hope the oil and everything is going good.
00:07:02.160 Here's times you can see MBS looking so confident.
00:07:05.400 That guy looked – do he look confident to you?
00:07:08.740 I think he is – the question about the toaster analogy, Tom, is that if the toaster is plugged in, you're in trouble.
00:07:15.560 But if it's not plugged in, you will make it through the car wash, so you know that.
00:07:18.540 I'm trying to describe that it's –
00:07:19.920 Oil prices plugged in the toaster.
00:07:21.740 That's exactly right.
00:07:22.760 That's exactly right.
00:07:23.800 But I do think Trump is using the leverage to get what he wants.
00:07:28.340 Exactly.
00:07:28.660 I do think he's using the leverage to get what he wants.
00:07:31.100 Rob, if you want to play that clip here for us.
00:07:32.460 But that's where his comment comes in.
00:07:33.760 He's defending –
00:07:34.580 I know he is because he's trying to get that $600 billion to a trillion dollars because he knows –
00:07:40.260 But the Saudis don't have it.
00:07:40.960 That's the thing.
00:07:41.700 They're already out there borrowing dollars.
00:07:43.240 Last year for the first time in a long time, the Saudi Arabian economy had to borrow external funds.
00:07:48.960 They actually borrowed more in dollars outside of Saudi Arabia than they had –
00:07:51.560 How much did they borrow last year?
00:07:52.740 I don't know exactly the number from –
00:07:53.920 Wow.
00:07:54.280 Saudi – the government borrowed more money?
00:07:56.120 Yeah, because with oil prices down, with so many of those internal projects sucking up resources in Saudi Arabia,
00:08:03.520 they actually have some of a cash shortage in Saudi Arabia.
00:08:06.040 You're right.
00:08:06.460 Last year they borrowed $23 billion.
00:08:08.760 Government planned to borrow about $23 billion for $23 billion.
00:08:11.500 Net asset acquisition in 2024 was actually negative, which means they're borrowing more outside the country than they're bringing in.
00:08:17.620 The total national government debt increased to an estimated $319 billion.
00:08:21.680 They're scaling back all those mega projects.
00:08:24.080 The fiscal deficit is off the charts.
00:08:25.900 So you're saying –
00:08:26.380 Saudi Arabia is in trouble.
00:08:27.440 They may not even have the $600 billion to invest here.
00:08:29.800 No, no, no.
00:08:30.420 They need $80 oil.
00:08:32.660 They need $80 oil at a minimum.
00:08:35.440 Let me ask you this question.
00:08:35.960 So your analogy, the toaster to the car wash, exactly right.
00:08:38.840 So let me ask this question here.
00:08:40.360 So then if that's the case, does the president know that?
00:08:44.500 Of course.
00:08:44.840 Don't you think the president knows that?
00:08:45.860 So then if he knows that, is this just marketing?
00:08:50.040 What can I give you to cushion the blow because I don't want $80 oil?
00:08:55.180 What can I give you to help you in transition so that Saudi Arabia doesn't fall apart if oil continues to go lower?
00:09:01.440 I thought I said they're buying – they're selling them jets.
00:09:04.240 Yeah.
00:09:04.720 Right?
00:09:05.000 I don't know what the number was.
00:09:06.040 I thought I saw $100 million a pop.
00:09:07.620 And that was something that had been never even on the table before.
00:09:11.120 They said, we're never going to sell you the 35s.
00:09:12.780 I think Trump's doing a great job.
00:09:14.800 And what you're seeing there is the guy that we elected to use tariffs and other tools to get people to negotiate.
00:09:20.960 He's got Saudis playing ball.
00:09:22.740 And I'll tell you, here's the card that the Saudis have.
00:09:25.600 The Saudis want destabilization of Venezuela.
00:09:28.500 They want to disrupt the supply of Venezuelan oil because right now Venezuela is selling oil to China.
00:09:34.040 If China is buying oil on the backside of the Panama Canal from Venezuela, and they are, then who are they not buying it from?
00:09:41.280 Saudis.
00:09:42.100 And so, therefore, a destabilized – a military action that interrupts the flow of oil in Venezuela will cause the price of oil to go up and Saudi will sell to other people.
00:09:52.660 The other way to make money is if prices won't go up, how do you make more money?
00:09:56.880 Sell more stuff.
00:09:58.080 2X the volume at $70 a barrel.
00:10:00.360 So if Venezuela is off the table –
00:10:02.300 Then they could sell it for $70 and make the volume.
00:10:03.820 And then they can live with $50 oil.
00:10:06.140 Got it.
00:10:06.560 So this is a little Rubik's Cube, but I think the guy that's in the chair there – look at that.
00:10:11.760 He was very – look at his body language.
00:10:14.200 Look at how he – forget the reaction to the question from ABC.
00:10:17.380 That pissed him off and it should have.
00:10:18.940 But look at the confidence he has and look at the –
00:10:21.880 This is the part, Rob.
00:10:22.840 This is the clip I want you to play.
00:10:24.060 This is the guy we voted for.
00:10:25.540 Yeah, I think it is $100 million per F-35.
00:10:29.420 And if they were to buy, say, roughly 48 of them, which is the number that they're talking about,
00:10:33.340 that Saudi requested for 48 of them, that would be $4.8 billion for the F-35s.
00:10:39.380 But here's a $600 billion investment.
00:10:41.040 Go ahead, Rob.
00:10:42.080 Thank you because you've agreed to invest $600 billion into the United States.
00:10:47.080 And because he's my friend, he might make it a trillion, but I'm going to have to work on him.
00:10:51.880 But it's $600 – we can count on $600 billion.
00:10:55.880 But I just want to say it's an honor to be your friend and it's an honor that you're here.
00:11:00.380 And if you'd like to say a few words, but thank you very much.
00:11:03.500 Well, thank you, Mr. President.
00:11:05.020 We believe in the future of the United States of America.
00:11:07.260 We believe in what you're doing, Mr. President.
00:11:09.400 It's really creating a lot of good things and good foundation to create more economical growth,
00:11:14.760 more business in America.
00:11:15.700 And it will also your work for the world peace.
00:11:21.200 I believe, Mr. President, today and tomorrow we're going to announce that we are going to increase
00:11:24.940 that $600 billion to almost $1 trillion of investment – real investment and real opportunity
00:11:30.840 by details in many areas.
00:11:32.420 And the agreement that we are signing today in many areas, in technology, in AI, in bare materials,
00:11:39.880 magnet, et cetera, that will create a lot of investment opportunities.
00:11:44.340 So you are doing that now?
00:11:45.620 You're saying to me now that the $600 billion will be one trip?
00:11:49.860 Definitely, because what we are signing, it will facilitate that.
00:11:52.920 I like that very much.
00:11:55.100 You can pause that, Rob.
00:11:56.180 So you're picking up the dinner check and dessert.
00:12:01.320 Look, you're getting a guy that, like you said, Tom, you know, when we were talking about
00:12:05.020 who to have as a president, you want to vote for somebody that negotiates on your behalf?
00:12:08.920 That's what he's doing.
00:12:09.580 Rob, is this another clip he got?
00:12:10.860 This is one more.
00:12:11.580 This is where President Trump shakes MBS's hand and then they make fun of Joe Biden.
00:12:16.200 Go ahead.
00:12:17.320 Son of the lead, Mr. President.
00:12:20.880 And Trump doesn't give a fist pump.
00:12:23.700 Can I grab that hand?
00:12:26.180 I don't give a hell where that hand's been.
00:12:28.320 I grab that hand.
00:12:32.460 I don't give a damn where that hand's been.
00:12:36.460 Who said that?
00:12:37.460 So you little piggy in and now I don't give a damn where the hand's been.
00:12:40.840 Brandon, what are you thinking?
00:12:42.460 Yeah, no, I agree with a lot of what these guys are saying.
00:12:44.920 I think that Saudi has been in a tough spot for a long time.
00:12:47.720 They're very much anticipating that the demand for oil,
00:12:51.200 or their reliance on oil is going to be a problem for them one day.
00:12:54.300 So they're trying to just make it a destination that people want to go to.
00:12:57.240 So I think that's why the subsidy here is that the U.S. is investing in, I guess, property or like vacation type of real estate.
00:13:04.480 So they're trying to make it like an attractive destination for rich people to go to, to offset some of that blow.
00:13:09.300 Why are you pointing at me when you said that, for rich people to go to?
00:13:12.280 I was waving my hands around.
00:13:13.700 Okay, I got it.
00:13:14.440 We're in the waving hand moment.
00:13:15.880 If you've got big plans for 2026, I am telling you right now, I can't tell you how many conversations we're having about business planning.
00:13:21.660 There's a reason why we went less than 22 hours to Dallas and come back because we want to see exactly what's happening with 2026.
00:13:28.880 We're planning for our family, for our businesses ourselves.
00:13:31.840 And if 2026 is a big year for you as well, I want you to watch this clip.
00:13:35.080 Rob, can you go to the clip with the Jenga to show them what happens when it comes on to business plan and how all of these things are necessary?
00:13:42.960 Go ahead, Rob.
00:13:43.440 Business is a lot like Jenga.
00:13:45.840 Every piece matters.
00:13:48.000 You need a vision.
00:13:49.580 Just carefully.
00:13:51.640 Oof, oof, oof.
00:13:52.600 You need capital.
