Valuetainment - ＂They JUMPED Me On The Court!＂ - Metta World Peace REACTS to Malice At the Palace Fight

00:00:00.000 So let's talk about, you know, here's an interesting stat.

00:00:03.760 I looked up who has been suspended,

00:00:06.320 who got the biggest suspension in the NBA ever.

00:00:08.540 O.J. Mayo's first place.

00:00:09.580 I didn't know that, by the way.

00:00:10.380 It was 162 games for, what was it?

00:00:12.900 I think it was steroids.

00:00:14.040 Was it steroids?

00:00:15.060 O.J. Mayo didn't look like he used steroids.

00:00:18.140 O.J. Mayo, he used steroids?

00:00:21.200 Substance, probably disclosed the levels,

00:00:22.880 typically drugs of abuse.

00:00:24.380 It wasn't marijuana.

00:00:25.320 You're not going to get suspended that long for marijuana, right?

00:00:27.120 Okay, well, anyways, he got a hundred.

00:00:28.100 Probably not for marijuana.

00:00:28.840 He got 162 games, give or take, okay?

00:00:33.000 Then yours was 86 games.

00:00:35.600 Yeah, too many games.

00:00:36.640 Yeah, and then third place was interesting, was Latrell Sprewell.

00:00:39.940 Oh.

00:00:40.540 Yeah, 68.

00:00:41.460 Oh, yeah.

00:00:41.900 The whole when he, you know, choked Rudy Tomjanovich.

00:00:44.520 No, no, no, no, who was it?

00:00:45.540 P.J. Carlissimo.

00:00:45.980 P.J. Carlissimo, yeah.

00:00:47.580 Rudy Tomjanovich is the one that got punched in the face

00:00:49.600 back in the days when he played.

00:00:50.600 I don't know if you know about this or that.

00:00:51.180 Oh, yeah, of course.

00:00:51.720 I think it was Larry.

00:00:52.940 No, Julius Erving.

00:00:54.020 No, no, no.

00:00:54.620 You're thinking Larry, no.

00:00:55.960 Completely different guy, big guy.

00:00:57.200 Yeah, he's a nice guy.

00:00:59.260 Punched him in the face, broke his jaw, and he had to sip.

00:01:03.100 Who punched Rudy?

00:01:04.060 You can type who punched Rudy.

00:01:05.740 But anyways, and by the way, Latrell Sprewell to me

00:01:07.680 was one of the most exciting.

00:01:09.560 These guys at the time had who?

00:01:10.880 Billy Owens.

00:01:11.800 They had a very exciting squad, right, at the time.

00:01:14.780 Maybe even Mullen was on the team with him.

00:01:16.880 But with you, Malice at the Palace, right? 0.63

00:01:19.800 You know things change when a sport creates new rules.

00:01:27.600 After that game, they never allowed glass drinks because of that game.

00:01:32.440 Did you know this?

00:01:33.180 The last time they allowed glass drinks in the NBA was at this game.

00:01:38.680 After this, they said, moving forward, there's no more glass drinks.

00:01:41.080 And no more drinking in the fourth quarter.

00:01:43.180 Is that what they, no more drinking in the fourth quarter?

00:01:45.740 Alcohol stops in the fourth.

00:01:46.960 I think now it stops in the fourth quarter.

00:01:48.420 So, look, I've heard this story God knows how many times.

00:01:52.520 It never gets old.

00:01:53.160 My son Dylan, you know, if he sits there and he wants to watch some video sports,

00:01:57.880 he says, Dad, can we watch Malice at the Palace?

00:02:00.220 Somebody, you can watch Ronaldo score a goal, Messi score.

00:02:03.060 I want to watch Malice at the Palace.

00:02:05.600 Walk us through what happened here.

00:02:07.320 I don't even think the foul was that big of a foul,

00:02:09.540 but just kind of give us your commentary.

00:02:10.980 It wasn't that big of a foul.

00:02:11.200 You see the score.

00:02:12.080 So, we were winning the game, you know, and it wasn't that big of a foul,

00:02:17.620 but, you know, I know what happened.

00:02:20.620 Like, so, one, they were down.

00:02:23.260 I've never given up free layups.

00:02:25.740 I'm not, and just because it was Ben, I'm not going to give up a free layup.

00:02:28.120 And I saw Chauncey was on a podcast and said, you know, Ron fouled Ben.

00:02:33.500 He must not have known what he was doing.

00:02:35.440 Like, as if I didn't know, I was fouling like a Shaq, 1.00

00:02:39.140 like as if I was scared of a gorilla.

00:02:41.160 I'm like, you know, yeah, I knew what I was doing.

00:02:44.580 I was fouling Ben Wallace.

00:02:45.680 Of course I knew what I was doing.

00:02:46.820 And then, but as I fouled Ben, you know, he reacted.

00:02:54.600 Are you guys at that, in that season, are you friends?

00:02:57.240 You guys talking?

00:02:58.140 I've never, no, we're definitely not friends.

00:02:59.780 You've never been friends?

00:03:00.780 No.

00:03:01.220 Till today?

00:03:02.380 I think we would see each other and say hello.

00:03:05.480 Like, I don't have the problems with Ben.

00:03:07.120 But it's not like you guys are like Oakley and Jordan were friends.

00:03:10.400 No, never.

00:03:10.840 It's not one of those things at all.

00:03:12.020 Never, never, never.

00:03:12.560 But was there animosity?

00:03:13.720 Is there anything that maybe he got an award that you didn't get or you got an award?

00:03:16.920 Is there anything there?

00:03:18.000 I think the defensive player of the year is because when he got his in 2002.

00:03:22.640 In 2002, I was an immersion defender and I wanted that award.

00:03:26.160 He won it.

00:03:27.460 Then he got it again in 2003.

00:03:30.160 In 2003, I think I made first team all defense and I was locking a lot of people up

00:03:34.700 and I'm like, man, I should have got that award.

00:03:36.360 In 2004, I actually get the award.

00:03:38.860 So now he has two, I have one.

00:03:42.200 Then you got the next year, the brawl year.

00:03:44.980 Now, keep in mind, in 2003 for me, I got the most text and the most flagrant, I think,

00:03:50.960 in the league.

00:03:51.960 2003.

00:03:52.640 2003.

00:03:53.600 And I think, like, the media was like, you know, Meta's too wild.

00:03:56.600 We're not, don't just give him that award.

00:03:58.580 I think they just gave it to Ben.

00:04:00.000 Not like he earned it, but I think it edged.

00:04:04.180 2004, I had my head on a little bit more straight.

00:04:07.860 03, 04.

00:04:08.740 The next year, I could suspend it.

00:04:09.840 So the next year, I thought I was going to win it.

00:04:13.040 Because not only, you know, am I still the best defender, I believe, but my average is up, you know.

00:04:18.660 It went up to 24 before I got suspended.

00:04:21.640 So now, you know, so now, and then keep in mind, the year I got defensive player of the year,

00:04:25.580 I finished number six in MVP voting. 0.99

00:04:27.740 No shit. 0.98

00:04:28.520 A lot of stuff they keep away when it comes to me. 0.98

00:04:31.540 You were number six MVP voting?

00:04:32.920 I finished number six.

00:04:34.220 Wow.

00:04:35.020 That's averaging 18 points.

00:04:37.000 So check this out.

00:04:37.980 So that's averaging 18.

00:04:38.820 I make 13 All-NBA at 23 years old.

00:04:41.240 So check this out.

00:04:42.820 If I got that, and, you know, oh, that's the year I got defensive player of the year.

00:04:46.920 Okay.

00:04:47.760 You see?

00:04:48.600 So if I got that, so now I'm at, now the next line under is 24.

00:04:52.340 That's MVP.

00:04:53.160 That's six points more, and we're the best team in the league.

00:04:55.840 We had the best record the year I got defensive player of the year.

00:04:58.200 So I think that was my, I talk about that window.

00:05:01.060 That's that window.

00:05:02.500 That's that window.

00:05:03.320 Like Shea Alexander, you know, MVP.

00:05:07.420 We don't know when the next time he's going to get it.

00:05:08.860 So I think that was my year.

00:05:10.140 That was my window.

00:05:11.240 To get MVP.

00:05:12.540 So, and so, so you guys are.

00:05:14.420 And defensive player of the year.

00:05:15.460 And is, is the NBA hyping it up that you guys are, you know, rivals and all that other stuff?

00:05:20.900 Is that, are they doing that or not really?

00:05:22.820 Is it just something that you, you and Pistons, was there.

00:05:25.820 Oh, we, we was rivals, you know, for sure.

00:05:28.060 You are rivals at that time.

00:05:29.360 We, we wasn't rivals from the perspective of like, you know, it was generated by media.

00:05:33.780 It's because we created that.

00:05:36.540 The Pistons and Pacers, we created that.

00:05:38.200 Now they came out on top because they won, but we competed really hard.

00:05:42.700 And internally, we, we even say, I speak to Rip Hamilton because me and Rip probably, I speak more to Rip than any of them.

00:05:48.400 So, and I'm cool with Rasheed and, and also, and Chauncey and, and Tayshaun.

00:05:52.580 I know Tayshaun for so long.

00:05:53.820 And, you know, I like these guys.

00:05:55.460 But when we played against each other, you know, it was a difference.

00:05:59.180 So he comes in.

00:06:00.680 It's not a hard foul.

00:06:01.700 It's a foul.

00:06:02.340 Right, right.

00:06:02.800 It's not a hard foul.

00:06:03.280 It's not a hard foul, but not a hard foul.

00:06:04.180 And then he reacts.

00:06:05.980 He reacts.

00:06:06.960 And so immediately when I fouled him and he turned to me, I was trying to say, sorry, not, maybe not sorry, but, you know, maybe my bad.

00:06:15.020 Because if you, if you look at my reaction and I would, that's what I was doing.

00:06:19.620 I remember that, you know, Rob, can you play it so, so he can get commentary from, because, you know, and by the way, I don't know if we can play it on the, on the podcast or not.

00:06:28.940 Maybe we can, maybe we can.

00:06:29.780 But if we can play just to get commentary, I want to see this from his perspective, because God knows how many times I've seen this thing here.

00:06:36.560 I know.

00:06:37.040 Too many times.

00:06:38.720 Is that it?

00:06:39.900 That's definitely part of it.

00:06:41.300 Yeah, that's definitely part of it.

00:06:42.460 You click on it.

00:06:42.960 It's probably going to play on that one, Rob.

00:06:44.420 They're definitely going to play it.

00:06:45.800 Okay, so here we go.

00:06:46.960 Back up a little bit.

00:06:48.100 Yeah, show the foul.

00:06:49.640 No, no, no.

00:06:50.240 You have to show the foul, because we have to see the foul, Rob.

00:06:52.900 Yeah, that picks up at the push.

00:06:55.720 That's still.

00:06:57.420 Yeah, go to another clip.

00:06:58.040 Man, we got to go to the one above, right there.

00:07:01.440 Check that one out.

00:07:02.160 See?

00:07:02.760 That's it.

00:07:03.140 Okay, that's it.

00:07:03.660 So go back a little bit.

00:07:05.140 This is just going to show the foul.

00:07:06.780 Watch this.

00:07:07.280 So you're going in.

00:07:08.820 So hold it right there.

00:07:10.160 Okay.

00:07:11.420 Now, that's not a, that's definitely not a soft foul.

00:07:14.000 Let me, let me be.

00:07:14.500 It's not, but it's not a flagrant two or flagrant one foul.

00:07:16.880 Did they call a flagrant one on that or no?

00:07:18.280 That was a, that was, you know, it could have been a flagrant, but, or it could, that's

00:07:23.580 a flagrant.

00:07:24.020 Okay.

00:07:24.120 That's a flagrant.

00:07:24.780 That was, now I can see why I've been, you know what, honestly.

00:07:28.640 It's like, when you slow it down a little bit, you're calling a flagrant?

00:07:32.040 Well, I didn't, I didn't, I never saw it at this angle.

00:07:35.720 And this is, keep in mind, over the last 20 plus years, I said it was a soft foul.

00:07:39.460 Now you're calling a flagrant?

00:07:40.760 Well, I'm calling that a, that's a, that's a flagrant.

00:07:43.160 Because you didn't make a play for the ball.

00:07:44.740 Well, I, I, I wanted to make a play just to grab him, but it was a weird angle.

00:07:48.460 I don't know.

00:07:49.080 Look at my eyes.

00:07:49.880 It's a, it's a left hand.

00:07:51.040 No, that's a, that's a, that's a flagrant.

00:07:52.540 That's actually a flagrant.

00:07:53.500 The right hand goes for the ball at least a little bit.

00:07:55.380 The left hand is all under the flagrant.

00:07:56.520 I've never even seen it like that.

00:07:57.420 By the way, I've never seen this angle myself.

00:07:59.400 I've never seen this angle.

00:08:00.100 Great find, Rob.

00:08:00.560 So can you, Rob, can you find the other angle?

00:08:02.560 So you see, he, he hit you in the neck.

00:08:04.900 Well.

00:08:05.300 Pause it right there, Rob.

00:08:06.680 Yeah.

00:08:07.820 So go for it.

00:08:08.420 You were saying, you were saying something.

00:08:10.360 Well, before that, I see this angle.

00:08:12.340 It's a, it's a hard foul.

00:08:13.960 Maybe it's not a flagrant.

00:08:15.380 It's definitely like a warning, right?

00:08:16.700 It's a warning.

00:08:17.660 But now you see, now look at my hand.

00:08:19.640 Let me see if you keep going.

00:08:20.640 I cast it.

00:08:21.660 No, no, no.

00:08:22.040 Wait, wait, wait, wait.

00:08:23.180 I don't know if you're going to see it, but well.

00:08:26.300 You can go to the other, the other clip.

00:08:28.200 Yeah, maybe go to the other clip.

00:08:28.660 Now the other clip shows the.

00:08:30.060 Yeah.

00:08:31.760 So after I fouled them, right there, right there.

00:08:33.980 Yeah, I saw the right hand.

00:08:34.540 I was trying to be like, sorry, or I don't know.

00:08:38.420 Um, yeah, like, yeah, like maybe like, hey, yeah, we good.

00:08:42.800 And then he was like, I'm, he's tough and I'm tough.

00:08:46.300 Yeah.

00:08:46.760 Ben Wallace ain't no joke, you know?

00:08:48.820 And, and I, but you see me, I'm not too worried, you know, cause like.

00:08:53.720 Was Ben known as a guy that would fight and brawl or no?

00:08:56.460 No, Ben's just a good player.

00:08:57.840 Ben's a very focused player.

00:08:59.460 Look at me.

00:08:59.740 I'm, I'm chilling.

00:09:00.380 So I'm not worried about, I'm not worried.

00:09:02.460 I'm laying on the scores.

00:09:03.460 Yeah.

00:09:04.600 You know, so.

00:09:05.500 You were like lying, literally like lounging.

00:09:07.240 I think I want to say.

00:09:08.100 I'm really chilling.

00:09:08.720 I'm not worried.

00:09:09.460 Cause, cause you know, I didn't want to turn up.

00:09:12.580 Look, I'm right there.

00:09:13.280 I'm not too worried.

00:09:14.100 Now, by the way, you can pause it here at this point.

00:09:16.240 Is it fair to say Jermaine is a gamer?

00:09:18.900 No, Jermaine's a, yeah.

00:09:20.280 He's a gamer.

00:09:21.040 Like, no, no, no.

00:09:21.660 Now I'm not saying basketball.

00:09:23.480 I'm talking about like, if things go down, Jermaine is a gamer.

00:09:26.860 Yeah.

00:09:27.360 Jermaine, all the whole team. 0.96

00:09:28.880 The whole team is, the whole team is full of dogs.

00:09:31.260 The whole team filled with dogs.

00:09:33.860 Who was the toughest?

00:09:34.680 The whole, David Harrison and, you know.

00:09:38.000 He was a big dude.

00:09:38.980 Big, okay.

00:09:39.800 David Harrison, a dog.

00:09:41.980 Jamal Tinsley.

00:09:43.060 Your point guard, Jamal Tinsley.

00:09:44.380 Yeah, Tinsley.

00:09:44.840 Really?

00:09:44.860 New York City.

00:09:45.720 He was a street boy before he was a ball.

00:09:47.680 Iowa State, I want to say.

00:09:49.000 Iowa State. 0.95

00:09:49.900 He was a gangster. 0.57

00:09:50.740 Right.

00:09:50.960 He was a street before ball.

00:09:52.580 You know.

00:09:54.040 Steven Jackson.

00:09:54.820 Freddie Jones.

00:09:55.160 Doug.

00:09:55.440 Freddie Jones, dog.

00:09:56.880 There's nothing but dogs on that team.

00:09:58.780 No.

00:09:59.320 And was that intentional?

00:10:00.080 Jameson Brewer, dog.

00:10:00.920 Yeah.

00:10:01.160 Who put the team?

00:10:01.700 Jeff Foster, dog.

00:10:02.240 I think you had Kenny Anderson, the point guard, no?

00:10:04.300 Kenny Anderson was on that team.

00:10:05.300 Old school.

00:10:05.960 Who put that team together?

00:10:06.940 Donnie Walsh.

00:10:08.340 Who put these together?

00:10:09.520 Donnie Walsh.

00:10:10.980 Yeah, New York City.

00:10:11.480 So he intentionally was looking for dogs?

00:10:13.640 He was looking for dogs.

00:10:14.560 He got them, too.

00:10:16.960 And so keep playing it, Rob.

00:10:18.840 Keep playing it.

00:10:19.380 So there you are, lounging.

00:10:21.340 So as I'm lounging, like, the referees had no control, right?

00:10:23.860 So the referees, you know, they want to fight.

00:10:26.560 It's about to come.

00:10:27.640 Watch closely.

00:10:28.440 And the whole, I mean, you know, so he's throwing stuff at me now.

00:10:33.260 That's why I got up right there.

00:10:34.660 But up until this point, this is nothing out of the ordinary.

00:10:38.320 It's a little scuffle.

00:10:38.960 No, no.

00:10:39.620 Until something gets thrown.

00:10:40.880 No, what's out of the ordinary is that they didn't eject.

00:10:43.060 They got to make an ejection.

00:10:44.180 Like, there was no control.

00:10:46.280 The refs had no control. 1.00

00:10:47.700 All right.

00:10:48.200 Typically, you would be like, eject it.

00:10:50.700 Foul.

00:10:51.680 Eject it. 0.94

00:10:52.160 Do it again.

00:10:52.700 Warning.

00:10:53.300 Warning.

00:10:53.900 Warning.

00:10:54.640 It was like, they was like, oh, my goodness.

00:10:55.860 This is a lot of people's gone, like, had no control over this.

00:10:58.740 Make some decisions.

00:10:59.400 I didn't do it quickly.

00:11:00.240 So if Ben would have been ejected, foul.

00:11:04.980 Yeah.

00:11:05.180 Oh, you're running after him now?

00:11:07.500 Stop.

00:11:08.180 Yeah.

00:11:08.500 Oh, I can't hold you.

00:11:10.520 Eject it.

00:11:11.020 Out of here.

00:11:12.300 That's how that goes.

00:11:14.040 So now that you're watching this, should they have ejected both of you?

00:11:17.840 I don't.

00:11:18.280 I mean, maybe if, because they was ejected.

00:11:20.780 I was always getting ejected for looking at people the wrong way.

00:11:22.900 I got ejected for looking at people the wrong way.

00:11:25.380 But in this situation, I mean, I think you call the foul.

00:11:28.680 Yeah.

00:11:29.180 You call the tech on Ben for pushing or the warning.

00:11:32.380 And as he's running, you go get him and say, stop.

00:11:36.620 As he's still going, at some point, there has to be a tech.

00:11:41.240 There was never a tech in this situation.

00:11:44.740 But up until this point, they haven't called a tech or foul.

00:11:47.620 Not one tech.

00:11:48.640 Only the foul that they called.

00:11:50.380 Only the foul.

00:11:51.060 And that wasn't a flagrant back then.

00:11:53.240 That was, I mean.

00:11:54.320 No.

00:11:54.720 Did the refs call it a flagrant back then?

00:11:56.660 They just called it a foul. 0.98

00:11:57.760 But it was a little.

00:11:59.220 I mean, you got to think about it.

00:12:00.100 They were down.

00:12:01.280 They had a former champs.

00:12:01.980 They were down.

00:12:02.780 And then Ben had to go to the free throw line.

00:12:04.800 Probably was going to miss one of one.

00:12:06.720 Right?

00:12:07.580 You know what I mean?

00:12:08.380 So he probably was going to.

00:12:09.580 This is the beginning of the next season after they won the championship.

00:12:12.600 This is the beginning after.

00:12:13.360 We were better.

00:12:13.860 This is in November.

00:12:14.620 The season starts in October.

00:12:15.880 This is 10 games in type of season.

00:12:17.740 10 games in.

00:12:18.440 Gotcha.

00:12:18.660 So now watch.

00:12:19.740 Keep playing it, Rob.

00:12:20.480 Now it's about to happen.

00:12:21.480 They said it wasn't a big game.

00:12:22.840 But for us, it was a big game.

00:12:24.880 And you did this in their house.

00:12:28.380 Yeah.

00:12:28.580 For us, it was.

00:12:29.060 So you're still lying on the bench.

00:12:30.660 Reggie Miller's like, everything's good.

00:12:32.540 Ben Wallace doing his thing. 0.99

00:12:34.220 And I'm just trying to get this shit over with already. 0.99

00:12:36.720 Yeah. 0.99

00:12:36.920 You know?

00:12:37.080 And then suddenly, someone throws.

00:12:44.920 There's Mike Brown yelling.

00:12:46.260 I don't know how to.

00:12:47.720 I don't even know.

00:12:48.380 What a freaking time.

00:12:50.840 This is the other. 0.61

00:12:51.760 No.

00:12:52.160 This is.

00:12:52.580 I wish Steve would have guarded him, actually.

00:12:56.100 You're going to blame it on Steven Jackson.

00:12:57.940 Come on, Steve.

00:12:59.180 You're throwing Steven Jackson under the bus.

00:13:01.000 No.

00:13:01.760 He's out there with all the smoke.

00:13:03.060 You're throwing on him.

00:13:03.840 So they haven't dropped the cup.

00:13:05.740 Nothing's been dropped yet.

00:13:08.060 Nothing's been dropped yet.

00:13:09.740 It should happen any second now.

00:13:11.120 Lindsey Hunter's trying to calm things down. 1.00

00:13:12.900 I actually was just trying to keep it under.

00:13:14.620 Lindsey was a good three-point shooter, man.

00:13:15.140 Lindsey was fun. 1.00

00:13:15.920 Lindsey was incredible. 1.00

00:13:16.800 Yeah.

00:13:16.940 He was fun to watch.

00:13:17.880 Oh, I wish they didn't have a cup.

00:13:19.440 Oh, there it was.

00:13:20.340 It was a purple cup.

00:13:21.580 Ben runs back.

00:13:22.780 Wait for it.

00:13:24.440 Okay.

00:13:24.640 I see the cup land on him.

00:13:26.500 Now?

00:13:28.420 Now here, the craziest fight in NBA history ensues.

00:13:32.080 All right.

00:13:32.320 Here's the unfortunate situation.

00:13:35.160 That's one way to put it.

00:13:37.780 Here is the unfortunate situation.

00:13:41.360 By the way, who's telling you don't do it?

00:13:43.300 Is anybody telling you don't do it?

00:13:44.840 Don't do what?

00:13:45.840 Stop.

00:13:46.280 Like, come back out.

00:13:47.160 Is anybody trying to stop you?

00:13:48.620 Man, it was.

00:13:49.100 I didn't see Steven Jackson stopping you.

00:13:50.780 No, no.

00:13:50.980 It was mass hysteria.

00:13:51.720 Yeah.

00:13:51.900 I don't think the referee blowing a whistle at this point is stopping you.

00:13:54.240 No, no.

00:13:54.480 But you got to realize, somebody's got to be like, look, bro, we're going to get suspended.

00:13:57.720 No, no, no, no, no.

00:13:58.520 He knows that when he wins fans.

00:13:59.880 Not in there.

00:14:00.680 Not at that point.

00:14:01.400 Because what happened was, so when the guy hit me, and by the way, the guy made a $50

00:14:06.980 bet that he could hit me.

00:14:08.220 So that's what, it's on my documentary.

00:14:09.920 It's on the documentary.

00:14:10.760 Yeah.

00:14:11.300 So he betted the gentleman.

00:14:14.240 He was here.

00:14:15.480 Another gentleman was here.

00:14:17.460 This guy betted this guy that he couldn't, you know, this guy betted John Green that he

00:14:23.320 couldn't hit me for $50.

00:14:24.640 So then John threw the cup and hit me, who's kind of a friend now, actually.

00:14:31.240 He threw the cup and hit me.

00:14:32.900 And then the other gentleman raised his hand, like, oh, you did it.

00:14:36.960 And then when I got hit, that's the first thing that I saw.

00:14:39.860 You thought it was him.

00:14:40.880 Oh, you did it.

00:14:41.340 Yeah.

00:14:41.540 But, and then people said you hit the wrong guy, but it wasn't the wrong guy.

00:14:46.040 Wasn't there someone on the floor that you came up and you, like, squared up?

00:14:49.220 But let him commentate this.

00:14:50.460 Keep going.

00:14:50.960 So I'm trying to see who threw it at you.

00:14:54.140 Yeah.

00:14:54.820 They got it.

00:14:55.580 So they hit the frame.

00:14:56.800 It was like, when we was in court, they showed frame by frame.

00:14:59.640 Can you go back, Rob?

00:15:00.680 I want to know who, you know, so when you, when he runs up, no, no, a little bit back

00:15:05.660 when he first runs up.

00:15:07.060 Okay.

00:15:07.500 Right there.

00:15:08.100 Okay.

00:15:08.280 Let it go.

00:15:08.760 Let it go from here.

00:15:09.980 So, okay.

00:15:10.840 Pause right there.

00:15:11.280 Who is it?

00:15:11.880 Who threw the cup?

00:15:12.600 So John in the white hat, my friend John.

00:15:15.080 Get out of here.

00:15:15.920 Okay.

00:15:16.480 He threw it.

00:15:17.500 And he bet, the guy bet, the guy I'm attacking right now.

00:15:23.140 And so you never hit John?

00:15:24.900 I didn't hit any of him.

00:15:25.820 I shook the Ryan.

00:15:27.720 I think his name was Ryan.

00:15:28.480 So you never punch anyone in the face?

00:15:30.560 No, I didn't punch him.

00:15:31.560 The other guy that came up to you?

00:15:32.740 The guy that came up to me.

00:15:33.640 Yeah.

00:15:33.800 He tried to attack me on the court.

00:15:34.980 I didn't punch none of these guys.

00:15:36.180 These guys, I just shook them.

00:15:37.660 I just held them like, don't you ever throw no cup at me.

00:15:40.340 Play it right from here?

00:15:41.360 Right.

00:15:41.640 And then John.

00:15:42.460 Okay.

00:15:42.740 You don't punch.

00:15:43.320 Well, you kind of slap him a little bit.

00:15:44.560 No, I'm like, don't you ever throw it?

00:15:45.640 Yeah.

00:15:46.140 And that's John holding you back.

00:15:47.500 Yeah, John.

00:15:47.960 And then someone threw another.

00:15:49.300 And then somebody threw another.

00:15:50.460 No, that's Jackson.

00:15:51.100 This is the greatest fight in NBA history.

00:15:52.860 I mean.

00:15:53.220 Right.

00:15:53.520 And then John punches me in my face from behind right there. 0.63

00:15:57.920 Now he's punching me in my face.

00:15:58.960 Are you joking? 0.98

00:15:59.720 John punched you in the face. 0.93

00:16:00.660 He punched me in my face. 0.94

00:16:01.240 Go back a little bit.

00:16:02.060 I've never seen this. 0.96

00:16:03.020 John punching you in the face. 0.83

00:16:04.080 Yeah, he's punching me in my face. 0.98

00:16:05.600 Wow. 0.62

00:16:05.960 Right there, right now.

00:16:06.760 Look.

00:16:07.440 Look at that.

00:16:07.720 You see that thing?

00:16:08.360 I saw that.

00:16:08.960 I saw that. 0.84

00:16:09.380 That's me getting punched in the face.

00:16:11.660 Wow.

00:16:12.180 So John, what did John do?

00:16:13.920 Was John a tough guy or just a fan?

00:16:15.540 Like, so John, so when I was so depressed after this, so years has passed.

00:16:21.160 Just pause it for a second.

00:16:22.380 Then you can go.

00:16:23.140 So what happened was in 2007, I was trying to become like undepressed.

00:16:28.280 So I started to reach out to everybody in that area, in the situation.

00:16:32.560 So I reached out to John.

00:16:34.300 We actually had a conversation, became like friends.

00:16:38.720 You know, so but John's situation, he was AAA.

00:16:43.080 He was already in AAA at this point.

00:16:45.260 Got it.

00:16:45.780 He wasn't even supposed to be drinking.

00:16:48.480 I learned a lot about John because we were friends.

00:16:50.060 And he was also going through a little bit of issues with his family also.

00:16:55.340 So it was also, it's a back story to him that I'm also sympathetic, even though he lost

00:16:59.360 me tens and tens of millions of dollars.

00:17:04.020 I lost so much money.

00:17:05.580 So much opportunity cost.

00:17:06.600 But that don't really affect me as much as his story.

00:17:10.880 You know, I'm more like, he was going through stuff, too.

00:17:14.120 And I'm on the board of UCLA Psychiatric, where I have a soft spot for people that's going

00:17:17.980 through stuff.

00:17:18.720 For you.

00:17:19.300 Which is unfortunate, but it's just how I made up.

00:17:22.040 Wow.

00:17:22.400 So, Rob, keep playing it.

00:17:23.600 Keep playing it.

00:17:24.480 So, so, so.

00:17:26.260 But yeah, in this moment.

00:17:28.360 Lower the audio a little bit, Rob, because we can hear it.

00:17:30.680 So, okay.

00:17:31.000 At this point, it's going back and forth.

00:17:33.040 At this point, it's back and forth.

00:17:34.360 So, by the way, did Ben and you, did Ben at all hit you?

00:17:37.060 Did any of the Pistons at all hit you during this?

00:17:39.200 Well, Ben was just throwing his wristbands when I was on the table.

00:17:43.540 It's tough to hurt you with wristbands.

00:17:44.940 Well, yeah.

00:17:45.560 It should have been a tech.

00:17:47.640 Okay.

00:17:48.000 So, you're now here.

00:17:48.260 That's Wes.

00:17:50.320 Wes.

00:17:50.900 Wes got me.

00:17:51.600 I almost got pepper sprayed.

00:17:53.060 I didn't even know it.

00:17:53.960 So, the cop was coming up to pepper spray me, and the guy that's holding me, Worldwide

00:17:58.540 Wes.

00:17:59.280 Oh, Worldwide Wes.

00:18:00.280 Worldwide Wes.

00:18:00.860 That's Worldwide Wes.

00:18:02.240 If it wasn't for him, I would have got pepper sprayed and arrested on the floor.

00:18:04.960 What was he doing?

00:18:05.520 Literally brown.

00:18:05.820 Him right there.

00:18:06.380 Right there.

00:18:07.000 Pause it.

00:18:07.260 Pause it.

00:18:07.560 Yeah.

00:18:08.780 Him.

00:18:09.640 Wes got me.

00:18:10.580 If you see the tape, you'll see the cop had the pepper spray.

00:18:13.900 Because the guy, when I got back down to the floor, then the other fans tried to punch

00:18:19.360 me.

00:18:19.700 Two fans jumped me.

00:18:21.640 Two more fans, they jumped me. 0.99

00:18:23.320 They literally jumped me.

00:18:25.380 Oh, Rob, if you go back in the other clip, the other clip will show the two fans trying

00:18:29.580 to jump him.

00:18:30.780 The one that was, yeah, that's the one right there.

00:18:32.460 Watch this.

00:18:32.980 So, just keep it playing.

00:18:33.900 Let it go.

00:18:35.180 Okay.

00:18:35.680 So, boom.

00:18:36.500 That's that.

00:18:38.040 And then this is when it drink hits.

00:18:41.120 Man, what a disaster.

00:18:42.080 Yeah, and then it starts.

00:18:46.120 And there's John.

00:18:47.200 See, John was like, ooh.

00:18:48.400 See, John.

00:18:49.180 See, John.

00:18:49.500 And then this is it.

00:18:50.280 Yeah, this guy came and attacked me.

00:18:51.280 Yeah, who's this guy?

00:18:52.100 Yeah, he knocked him out.

00:18:52.820 How are they on the floor?

00:18:54.200 That's my point.

00:18:55.140 Boom.

00:18:55.580 And then Jermaine O'Neal comes and starts knocking me out.

00:18:57.240 Oh, yeah.

00:18:57.860 So, he slips what he punches.

00:18:58.860 You see what I'm saying?

00:19:00.340 And then, like, at what point.

00:19:00.980 Now, watch.

00:19:01.480 Is that Chuck Person?

00:19:02.340 That's Chuck.

00:19:02.820 Yeah, that's my guy.

00:19:03.460 Trying to get him out.

00:19:04.300 Chuck was a great shooter, man.

00:19:05.260 Chuck and Reggie.

00:19:05.700 Chuck was incredible.

00:19:07.180 Chuck was a shooter.

00:19:08.040 Yeah, so this game is Juan Bear, Scott Pollard.

00:19:12.000 By the way, they just did that to DeMarcus Cousins a couple days ago.

00:19:14.760 I saw that.

00:19:15.060 Hey, what's up?

00:19:15.760 I'm Metal World Peace, the chairman of our test management group.

00:19:18.640 And now, I am officially on my neck.

00:19:21.780 I want you to reach out to me.

00:19:23.520 I got a lot of things to offer.
