Valuetainment - ＂Trump BEAT Harvard＂ - Harvard's $500M Anti-Jewish Protest Settlement Is HUGE Win For Trump

00:00:00.000 Harvard reportedly willing to surrender in war with Trump, admin, even if it costs a half a billion dollars.

00:00:08.040 Rob, I think you've got a video on this one if you want to pull it up to go to it.

00:00:12.040 This is an interesting story. Rob, is this him talking about it?

00:00:14.700 Yes, sir.

00:00:15.040 Okay, go for it.

00:00:18.400 Harvard is reportedly willing to settle with you for $500 million.

00:00:23.320 Is that enough?

00:00:25.940 It's a lot of money. It's a lot of money.

00:00:27.940 So we're negotiating with Harvard now.

00:00:30.580 They would like to settle, so we'll see what happens.

00:00:33.700 Okay, that's a pretty fast answer, but let me read the one sentence here.

00:00:37.360 Negotiations are ongoing with Harvard reluctant to pay the federal government directly,

00:00:42.540 and the potential deal may include a settlement in the current court dispute over funding cuts exceeding $2 billion.

00:00:50.500 And I keep in mind, Columbia University already paid $200 million.

00:00:54.020 There's a couple other schools. Brown, I think, is going through a $50 million deal.

00:00:57.940 With the administration, UCLA settled for only $6.13 million, but Harvard a half a billion?

00:01:06.040 Tommy, what do you think? Why do you think?

00:01:07.580 Not about the money, first of all.

00:01:09.200 And we would not be in this situation at all if you could just protect your Jewish students. 0.82

00:01:13.800 It's really not that hard.

00:01:15.020 And they fought tooth and nail under a former president, President Otto Penn.

00:01:21.440 I don't think that they felt the pressure and the heat.

00:01:23.760 President Trump comes into office. He says, I'm not going to deal with this anymore.

00:01:26.940 I'm going to hold your feet to the fire. 0.72

00:01:28.640 It's not about the money. It's not about the settlement.

00:01:30.740 It's about the message that this sends to the Ivy League schools.

00:01:34.280 You will not be allowed to bully and harass Jewish students.

00:01:38.600 They will not be kept from their classes that they're paying for.

00:01:41.760 They will not be intimidated.

00:01:43.300 Not about the money. It's about the message.

00:01:45.700 But I think the fact that President Trump has held strong on this, it's pretty incredible,

00:01:49.840 because they keep calling this man Hitler and a Nazi.

00:01:52.020 But I can't think of many other world leaders that have stood up for Jewish students

00:01:56.460 and Jewish people quite like this current president.

00:01:58.620 Yeah, I mean, the question I got is, why is Harvard half, Columbia 200, Brown 50, and UCLA 6.1?

00:02:09.400 It's almost as if UCLA is being seen like, dude, you're a nobody, just pay 6.1.

00:02:13.900 Or were they easier to deal with, Tom? What do you know about the story?

00:02:16.740 Well, UCLA's suit came from a group that didn't get federal support.

00:02:21.580 So this was an independent, I believe that's correct.

00:02:23.520 This is an independent group that came and said, hey, you know, this anti-Zionist stuff

00:02:28.440 and the things you were doing on here, we feel some.

00:02:31.500 And so UCLA is making a fast settlement with an independent group.

00:02:36.000 Now, if that settlement gets the attention of the White House, which I imagine it would,

00:02:42.040 there could be a federal round to this fight. 0.82

00:02:45.220 But that's what's going on with UCLA.

00:02:47.160 But you know what's really interesting about this?

00:02:48.960 There are 7,000 undergrad students at Harvard.

00:02:52.100 I think it's 7,089, number one.

00:02:57.300 Number two, the tuition at Harvard is about $86,000 all in, you know, dorm tuition, the whole bit.

00:03:04.400 But with the financial aid that goes out there, it comes out to 55,000 a student.

00:03:09.340 What is 7,000 students times $55,000?

00:03:13.720 Don't do this to Vinny, bro.

00:03:15.060 $885,000,000.

00:03:17.300 My gosh, Vinny, that's correct.

00:03:18.600 How the hell?

00:03:19.380 So they could have taken the $500,000,000 and just told all their students, guess what?

00:03:26.500 We're sorry about what happened.

00:03:28.160 Nobody pays tuition this year.

00:03:29.700 So it is about the message.

00:03:31.340 I agree with Tommy.

00:03:32.180 It is not about the money.

00:03:33.620 But we need to take a look at what really the scope of money also is here. 0.94

00:03:37.100 It's also the public embarrassment because to the average person, holy crap, half a billion dollars?

00:03:43.660 They don't know that Harvard's got like a $53 billion endowment right now.

00:03:48.380 I think it's crossed to over 53.

00:03:50.180 The average person doesn't know that.

00:03:51.760 But the headline is Trump beat Harvard.

00:03:56.000 Harvard paid up.

00:03:57.500 And that is, I think, the strong message here that just like the trade, one at a time, he's getting them.

00:04:04.660 And now the Ivy League, one at a time, he's getting them.

00:04:07.800 Rob, can you find out?

00:04:08.820 And Tommy, I want to come to you, Rob.

00:04:09.680 Can you find out what the endowment is for UCLA, Harvard, Columbia, and what it is for Brown?

00:04:17.100 Go ahead, Tommy.

00:04:17.700 You wanted to say something.

00:04:18.400 Yeah, I do.

00:04:19.140 Because I think not only is this a message being sent,

00:04:22.680 I think the message for young, especially young Jewish students and their family,

00:04:27.940 this is also an incredibly strong message.

00:04:30.140 A settlement's great.

00:04:31.280 An acknowledgement is great.

00:04:32.640 But I'll tell you, a lot of these young Jewish students,

00:04:35.400 they're not going to the Ivy League in the Northeast anymore.

00:04:38.340 I'll tell you where they're going.

00:04:39.520 They're going to Tennessee.

00:04:40.640 They're going to Alabama.

00:04:41.820 They're going to Mississippi.

00:04:42.980 They're going to Florida.

00:04:44.060 They're going to SEC schools and some others

00:04:46.600 because they don't want to be harassed and they want to go to school

00:04:49.260 and they don't want to have protests on their campus.

00:04:51.100 They don't want another encampment when these nerds are too socially awkward

00:04:56.640 and unaware to actually enjoy college.

00:04:59.280 They'd rather be out protesting and waving Hamas flags.

00:05:01.960 They want to go to Alabama.

00:05:03.360 They want to rush a fraternity or a sorority.

00:05:05.360 They want to have a college experience.

00:05:07.100 So it's going to take a lot more from Harvard and the rest of these Ivy Leagues

00:05:10.880 than just a settlement or even just an apology.

00:05:13.140 They're going to have to change the culture on campus

00:05:15.520 because you're going to see people flee into better schools

00:05:18.180 with more attractive people with a better college experience.

00:05:21.760 And that happens in the South.

00:05:22.940 I want to go back to college now.

00:05:24.520 Are we already seeing that?

00:05:25.680 Are we seeing that?

00:05:26.380 Yes, we are.

00:05:27.240 And I'll tell you where we're seeing it.

00:05:28.440 Help me out.

00:05:29.160 I'm pulling something out of the hard drive here with Alabama.

00:05:33.420 There was a protest that was happening on campus in Alabama.

00:05:36.040 But the crowd of basically fraternity brothers holding beers.

00:05:40.480 I think it was North Carolina.

00:05:41.000 North Carolina.

00:05:41.540 North Carolina.

00:05:42.500 Yeah.

00:05:42.900 Where they came out there and the crowd of fraternities.

00:05:45.520 ACC, SEC, it's no big deal. 0.99

00:05:47.480 The crowd of students that didn't want any of this crap 0.99

00:05:50.700 was quickly larger than the protesters. 0.98

00:05:53.980 And the campus police formed a line that was basically preventing the students

00:05:58.920 from enforcing physical response to the protest.

00:06:02.240 And the campus police said, hey, your permit to demonstrate is over at Sunset,

00:06:08.000 which is 7 o'clock, and we're off shift and going home.

00:06:11.060 I think you should pack up and go because if we leave and you're still here,

00:06:16.380 this rowdy group that's also drinking beers over there, 1.00

00:06:19.060 they're going to kick your ass. 0.99

00:06:21.260 And the protesters, and I believe I'm getting the essence of the story straight, 1.00

00:06:24.840 am I not?

00:06:26.400 Partly.

00:06:26.840 And then also, you've got these frat brothers who are not going to let that

00:06:30.480 American flag touch the ground when you have these feral Hamas supporters 1.00

00:06:35.180 that are trying to rip down the American flag.

00:06:37.940 Yeah, they were the flag defenders.

00:06:39.360 It was Alabama.

00:06:40.400 And denigrate our country and denigrate Israel. 0.94

00:06:42.920 And you've got these frat bros at UNC that are like, no,

00:06:46.780 we're not letting this flag touch the ground.

00:06:48.460 You're not going to do anything to this flag.

00:06:49.880 You're not going to burn this flag.

00:06:51.060 And that's what you get when you go to SEC schools or similar type schools

00:06:55.920 in the South, in Florida, and a few other places. 0.99

00:06:58.680 You're not going to have these people put up with this crap. 0.99

00:07:01.540 To me, that's the most important thing. 0.99

00:07:03.680 Okay, we see what's going on with the Jews and Israel and all this stuff like that,

00:07:06.720 but at the end of the day, this comes down to do you love America or not?

00:07:10.120 Because the people that are waving the Palestinian flags, 0.95

00:07:13.940 the people that are basically doing these encampments,

00:07:16.240 they don't love America.

00:07:18.700 I mean, the Jews and everything that's going on here with these settlements, 1.00

00:07:22.360 Harvard allegedly maybe having to have to pay a half a billion dollars,

00:07:26.180 all these other fines. 0.99

00:07:27.960 Okay, the Jews are a canary in a coal mine. 1.00

00:07:30.180 The reality is these students that go to Harvard, Columbia, Cornell, 0.99

00:07:34.160 the list goes on, they don't love America.

00:07:37.200 You know, you tell the story of when you went to Harvard for the business planning,

00:07:40.120 an event there, whatever it was, and this was in 2016 with Trump running?

00:07:44.100 This was Trump, Hillary, because you'd be in jail. 0.55

00:07:46.620 You said zero people were rooting for Trump.

00:07:48.280 Not one person rooted for Trump out of 300 people that were there.

00:07:51.620 Okay, so one, two, five, ten, zero.

00:07:55.280 At the end of the day, these schools are indoctrination camps to just hate America.

00:07:58.820 Thank you.

00:07:59.320 And the trickle-down effect is they don't love Israel or the Jews. 0.63

00:08:02.580 But let me ask you guys a question.

00:08:04.300 What about the people that are funny? 0.95

00:08:05.540 Because to me, none of that crap is organic. 0.65

00:08:07.540 None of it happens on its own. 0.99

00:08:08.860 What about the NGOs?

00:08:09.580 What about the Open Society, the George Soros's, who are funding to make this happen?

00:08:14.260 Because I don't believe these cats just woke up and they're like, 0.92

00:08:16.480 let's put on some keffias and go out there and say we hate Israel and we hate Jews. 1.00

00:08:20.340 That shit's all planned, just like every big-ass event that happens in the United States, 1.00

00:08:23.840 from BLM to all these things to cause this division. 1.00

00:08:27.520 Are they ever going to get freaking held accountable?

00:08:29.680 Is George Soros ever going to get held accountable for all the damage and destruction that he does in this country?

00:08:35.760 Those are two different things.

00:08:36.820 I think you've got to isolate two issues.

00:08:38.360 But is he paying for these people?

00:08:39.540 Well, no, you've got to isolate those two issues and address.

00:08:42.440 Those are two separate things.

00:08:43.560 I agree.

00:08:44.000 But to think about, the issue for me is the following.

00:08:47.220 To me, I'm also not from overprotecting a community more than another community.

00:08:53.600 Let me explain to you what makes me uncomfortable with that.

00:08:56.020 The last five years, they overprotected the LGBTQ community.

00:08:59.580 What do you mean overprotecting?

00:09:00.800 I understand if you're protecting.

00:09:02.640 Totally get it.

00:09:03.520 But overprotecting that you can't say certain things and videos were being canceled and we went back to reality.

00:09:10.260 Overprotecting African Americans. 1.00

00:09:12.380 Overprotecting, you know, whites. 1.00

00:09:14.580 Overprotecting Jews. 0.94

00:09:15.860 Overprotecting whatever minority community may be. 1.00

00:09:19.380 Protect everybody.

00:09:20.600 Be fair with everybody.

00:09:21.800 Allow the merit base to be there.

00:09:23.400 Don't fall for the mob.

00:09:24.620 The mob is going to convince you that they're bigger than they are.

00:09:27.120 You were afraid of the mob. 0.98

00:09:28.700 You look like a clown when you were not willing to stand up to them. 0.97

00:09:31.900 And that's what makes these institutions look bad. 0.99

00:09:34.260 I did a quick math.

00:09:35.700 If you look at the amount of money that they paid based on how much money they have in their endowments,

00:09:41.120 who do you think paid the most? 0.81

00:09:42.860 Based on the fine.

00:09:44.060 Don't look there, Tom.

00:09:44.720 Out of all the Ivy Leagues?

00:09:45.520 You cheated, Tom.

00:09:46.420 So Tom can't play.

00:09:47.560 Out of all the Ivy Leagues?

00:09:48.360 Out of all the schools.

00:09:50.180 UCLA, Brown, Columbia, Harvard.

00:09:52.560 Who do you think paid the biggest fine based on their number?

00:09:56.740 The fine to the dollar amount that they have.

00:09:58.460 Oh, I would guess Columbia.

00:10:00.160 Columbia paid the biggest fine.

00:10:01.460 Okay, 1.5% of their endowment.

00:10:03.680 Jeez.

00:10:04.260 Number two is Harvard, 1%.

00:10:06.080 Number three is Brown, 0.8%. 0.83

00:10:09.420 UCLA paid 0.02%.

00:10:11.940 Okay?

00:10:12.860 So UCLA was like, I don't even know what happened over there.

00:10:14.700 It wasn't a big deal that they went by.

00:10:15.780 But even Harvard, as much as we say a half a billion compared to the, you know,

00:10:21.560 $51 billion that they have, it's not that much bigger than what Columbia had to pay.

00:10:26.240 So Columbia paid the biggest prize.

00:10:28.800 By the way, that's assuming Harvard only pays $500 million.

00:10:31.420 You were asking about the latest polo shirts that are coming up.

00:10:34.680 It took us a few months to get them.

00:10:36.180 They're finally in.

00:10:36.780 I wore one of these.

00:10:37.740 Everybody was asking, where did you get these vitamin polo shirts?

00:10:40.480 They're right there.

00:10:41.100 We got them in brown, black, white, gray, and another white.

00:10:45.280 There's a bunch of them on here for those because it's hot.

00:10:47.920 Yesterday we flew them from Orlando.

00:10:49.200 We're on a flight, flying back on this private jet, and we're asking the pilot,

00:10:54.040 hey, can you turn on the AC?

00:10:55.540 I can't turn on the AC.

00:10:57.000 Mario makes the mistake of asking the guy.

00:10:59.320 He says, I heard this is a mock.

00:11:02.120 What did he ask him?

00:11:02.940 He says, I think.

00:11:03.560 Does he go mock?

00:11:04.320 And the guy was like, yeah, he goes mock 1.5.

00:11:06.140 He goes actually mock 1.1.

00:11:07.700 And then next thing you know, we get on the jet, and this guy goes,

00:11:10.360 he starts doing all this stuff, showing off.

00:11:12.080 I'm like, what is this guy doing?

00:11:13.440 On the way back, we're flying low.

00:11:14.780 He says, I can't turn on the AC.

00:11:16.280 I get off the plane.

00:11:18.180 Do you remember what I look like?

00:11:19.140 Honestly, you look like somebody pouring water all over you.

00:11:21.320 I get off the plane.

00:11:22.340 My entire shirt is flipping, you know, drenched.

00:11:26.960 And this is why Tommy just announced she's moving to Florida

00:11:29.020 because she loves the humidity here.

00:11:30.440 But for some of you guys that are in the heat,

00:11:32.100 you want to wear a polo shirt and have the vitamin gear on,

00:11:36.280 go place your order at vtmerch.com.

00:11:39.420 We did not order too many of these.

00:11:41.560 But if you want to get them, go to vtmerch.com, place your order,

00:11:43.960 support them.

00:11:44.840 We were at Orlando at the Gaylord event.

00:11:46.740 Cannot wait to see all of you guys at the Vol Conference.
