00:00:00.000 Within the next 15 seconds, you're probably going to say this is one of the most unique interviews we've ever had on Valuetainment, and here's why.
00:00:06.560 My guest today is Latif Yahya, who is known, he's living his own life right now, doing his thing, but prior to this, he lived a very interesting life.
00:00:15.760 One day, he gets a knock on the door by his classmate, who happens to be Saddam Hussein's son, Uday, and he says, I want you to be my double.
00:00:26.360 And he says, what do you mean double? He says, I want you to be my double.
00:00:28.940 He turns them down at first, and then he's going to tell you what happens next.
00:00:32.240 There was a book written about us saying, I was Saddam's son, a movie that I watched the moment it came out in 2011 called The Devil's Double.
00:00:40.080 With that being said, my guest today, Latif Yahya.
00:00:43.100 Latif, thank you so much for being a guest on Valuetainment.
00:00:45.900 You're welcome.
00:00:47.000 So, Latif, I think it's fair to say you've lived an interesting life.
00:00:54.080 Hard life. We can't say interesting.
00:00:57.440 For me, it was from the minute I joined this team, by force, it wasn't an enjoyable moment or enjoyable job to do.
00:01:10.900 Now, before that happened, and let's go back a little bit.
00:01:14.400 Let's go back on how you got connected with Saddam Hussein's family.
00:01:19.260 How did that relationship come about?
00:01:20.880 We was together in the same school, in high school.
00:01:25.500 We spent a few years together, same school.
00:01:28.640 This was a special school for all the high-educated people, ministers' sons, politicians' sons, and it was close to my home, too.
00:01:40.620 And, uh, here we was met first time in, he was in my school, in my class.
00:01:50.420 And, uh, I was very worried, as advice from my dad, to don't be nearly of those family or the government or anything.
00:02:03.520 My father is very peaceful man, rest in peace now, and, uh, I listened to him, but, uh, the problem was with Oday, at the time.
00:02:16.420 And, uh, start, uh, we become, uh, nearly know each other.
00:02:21.160 I was painting, I love painting, since I was a child, and when the Saddam Hussein become a president,
00:02:29.380 he was the vice president of Iraq, uh, I paint his picture, and, uh, in full size, in the big picture.
00:02:41.700 And he, he look at him and say, wow, you know, this is nice, this is that.
00:02:46.640 And, uh, he took it off me, and from here it started.
00:02:50.300 So, so, so, so you had met Saddam Hussein before, through his son, Oday, or, or was that, uh, was it, no, this is, you met Saddam?
00:03:01.540 This is a, this is, was a school competition painting.
00:03:05.620 Got it.
00:03:05.980 And Oday, he saw, uh, he saw the painting, and he took it.
00:03:10.740 I got it.
00:03:11.540 And so, in 1979 is when he became a president.
00:03:15.260 So, when you said you were in high school with Oday, what year was that?
00:03:18.420 Uh, up till, I finished my university in 1987, four years before that, or four and a half years, yeah.
00:03:30.580 So, he was, he was already president, he was already a powerful man, he was already, you know, had a reputation, and, uh, for some that don't know, I mean, this is, before we go into that angle, one of the things I want to know from you is, even prior to him being a president, I'm from Iran, so I have had to study a lot of Saddam Hussein, because, you know,
00:03:48.420 I was born in 78, so if I'm born 78, four months before the Shah went in exile, October of 78, you know my lifeline.
00:03:57.700 I stayed there till, uh, 1989, so I was there for the whole war between Iran and Iraq, it wasn't the prettiest thing.
00:04:03.220 But, who was Saddam Hussein before he became president and vice president, way before that?
00:04:10.380 Saddam Hussein, he was, uh, head of, we say, intelligence service.
00:04:17.420 At that time, they call it Hanin, what this was, protecting Ba'at party, and because of his background, and he is very clever person, you know, because we can't deny that, but, uh, he be, he been elected by Ba'at party to start, what's called intelligence service,
00:04:39.140 and he named it Hanin, Hanin means, something is very hard to explain, but anyway, he become the head of intelligence service of Ba'at party before all this happened.
00:04:51.660 Got it.
00:04:52.660 And they was assassinate, all these people would not belong to them, or against them, or do stuff against Ba'at party, till he become a vice president.
00:05:05.320 So, he was known as someone that, some called him a hit man, some called him a vicious man, some called him a fearless man, but he was, he was feared amongst people way before he got into politics, would you agree with that?
00:05:21.320 I agree with that, because this is his story, and he, he, he himself, he was saying that, I start this, and I start that, and, uh, he was saying always, this chair,
00:05:34.280 that didn't come easy to me, it was something, uh, we did with our colleagues, with our brothers, to get to this power.
00:05:44.260 Got it.
00:05:45.140 Okay, so now let's fast forward, you're in high school, you were there, you make, draw this painting, he sees it, he likes it, were you guys best friends, or were you just classmates when he first saw this?
00:05:54.780 Classmate, classmate, I can't say it, because I didn't like it, from day one, he arrived to my class, in Pacific, you know, first of all, uh, he was coming with his Porsche, he was a teenager, and he have a Porsche, yellow Porsche, very stupid color, yellow, it's not even normal color,
00:06:17.380 and, uh, with painting, I was, uh, this is my hobby, I was playing basketball, and he come and put his car, where it's the basketball place, you know, he don't let anybody play basketball, he don't, he harassed anybody, at the time, we have this, you know, uh,
00:06:38.380 we're talking 70s, and beginning 80s, these Afro hair, you know, big hairs, and he have really big, big hair, you know, and, uh, he come on two, three security with him, always just stand up around, when he come to the class, because he was taller of us, he was sitting in the back,
00:07:03.520 and two people sit, and two people sit, one here, and one here, and one beside him, write for him, all the teachers, say, he don't do anything, uh, this was his, uh, attention in the class, but I can't deny it, he was very, very clever.
00:07:24.640 So, he was also clever like his father, interesting.
00:07:27.540 He's very clever, he's very clever, but in a mean, mean way.
00:07:32.320 In a mean way.
00:07:33.940 Yeah, and he don't like to see somebody higher of him, or clever more on him, or answer the teacher in a good way, he'd be really upset, because he think he's a bigger person, he's a more powerful, even with that, he have so much jealousy inside him, I don't know, after I, we met, and sit, and I understand why he was suffering from that.
00:08:01.920 What was he, did he have a reputation even then in high school, as somebody who was ruthless, or he hadn't developed a reputation yet?
00:08:10.840 In the beginning, in the beginning, he was very shy, to be fair, he was very, very shy, but the second year start, all the exaggeration stuff, because, you know,
00:08:24.260 as you are from Middle East, and we are neighbor, you know, as a school separate, boys and girls, you know, only in university, but as a boy school, he come in with a girlfriend,
00:08:42.180 who was the closest school for a girl beside us, he picked his girlfriend, and come to the school, with his girlfriend, sitting in class, and one of the teachers, he asked him, you know,
00:08:55.220 you're not allowed to do that, you know, please take this girl out of here, anyway, we didn't, never saw the teacher anymore, I don't know what's happened to him.
00:09:08.180 Also, when the teacher told to take the girl out, you never saw the teacher ever again?
00:09:12.400 Yeah, we never saw him, after he left the class, I don't know where he disappeared.
00:09:17.400 Got it. So that was one mistake right there, telling him he couldn't have girlfriends there. So, did you, but did you hear stories with him? Like, even when you went to high school, did you see him fighting? Did you see him killing yet?
00:09:31.420 Did you see him doing anything yet during high school? Was there any signs yet?
00:09:35.060 No. Killing? No. Fight, we can say, in a mean way, yeah, he always pushing people like that, but he always have a gun, small gun, magnum, he always carry with him, in a school, in a high school, you know, you can't have a gun, but he come and he's always put it in his pocket, or he put it in, he have a cover or a gun beside his leg,
00:10:02.740 and he sometimes play with it like that, you know. There's a lot of people, especially in the school, was want to be close to him because he's the power, and you know, us Middle East, people like power, people like that.
00:10:21.080 At the time, you know, my family's, the rich family, and no one in Baghdad, I have a car, too, in this age.
00:10:31.840 But it wasn't a Porsche, you know, we can't say Porsche, or like, there's something, just my dad, he bought it for me, and in this age, you can't have even a car.
00:10:42.120 I don't have even a license, but something, you know, this, you know, Middle Eastern business people do the fantasy, okay, my son, he's underage, but he's driving a car, you know.
00:10:55.580 I have a ladder, the first car.
00:10:58.480 You did?
00:10:59.740 Yeah, I did. My first car was a ladder, but at the time, we're talking 70s, ladder was something when it came to Iraq, and especially this ladder was a story.
00:11:09.680 In 1979, when the Iraq football won something champion, the president, Ahmad Hassan al-Bakr, he imported from Russia or Soviet Union, because he's made there, ladder, for a footballer, as a present, as a gift.
00:11:29.920 And when the first car has been sold, my dad bought it for me on my birthday, and was ladder, you know, wow, you know, somebody have a ladder.
00:11:41.380 And the life went, till we finish school, I get a good degree and good numbers.
00:11:51.100 My dream was, really, up till now, in this age, my dream to be an engineer.
00:11:58.980 I like to be an engineer, civil engineer, building these houses and luxury.
00:12:03.740 I still, till in this age, even I didn't go to University of Engineering, I still drawing, you know, how I do.
00:12:12.400 I designed all my house, how many houses I have in Europe, I designed all my houses, how I like it.
00:12:21.100 And, when I went to University, I saw that he's applied there, I said, I'm not spending another four or five days with this idiot.
00:12:35.080 I went to the law, something absolutely out of the numbers I get.
00:12:40.100 I can be an MD or an engineer, or the numbers I get.
00:12:44.660 But, I went to the law, it's very classy, I say, okay, we go to the law, finish my degree, and, at the time, you know, was Iraq-Iran war.
00:12:59.680 They need soldiers, they need officers, they need...
00:13:02.640 By Iraqi law, when you finish school or university, or you don't go to school, must you do the army things, you know.
00:13:11.660 At the time, uh, when you are educated, university and like that, they give you a rank of officer on your shoulder.
00:13:21.980 But, if you don't have any, you'll be just soldier.
00:13:25.820 Because I was tall, and at the time, you know, healthy and muscles and like that, they picked me to be a commandos.
00:13:33.260 Because, you know, we went to the commandos, training six months, straight away to the war.
00:13:40.940 We was in a battle, you know, us Iranian, it was a shame to two nations to be fighting each other for no reason.
00:13:49.980 Up till now, I fight, and I'm left nearly 30 years out, until now, I don't know why we fight.
00:13:57.260 You know, I don't understand, what's happened between these two countries, because our relation, when the Shah was, was different from when the Khomeini came.
00:14:10.460 Uh, us, I hear, because my dad, he was going holiday to Iran in the Shah time, he was saying this parish of Middle East is so nice, so this and that.
00:14:22.220 Um, but you know, politics change and the stuff was changed, and Khomeini come and, we start hate each other, war start and, you know, war is not a fun thing, is not something to enjoy.
00:14:37.980 No matter, no matter what you do, it's not a fun place to go.
00:14:44.900 And, uh, I was seeing, you know, front of me my soldier be killed, I've been injured several times.
00:14:51.280 uh i see iranian dead i see iraqi dead but all was the question in my head why we are here
00:15:02.880 you know in my head i was more open in politics but in my head my father he hate politics
00:15:11.200 he said don't talk politics don't say anything you know even the world have
00:15:15.360 ear to hear you in iraq and this is the problem with me even my father was saying to me you don't
00:15:23.600 listen you have a stone head what in your head you heard you do it i was sitting for example in a
00:15:31.360 bunker and the night sometime peaceful is not two or three hours no shut hearing no bombing no nothing
00:15:39.040 i think with myself i have a candle and two soldier three soldiers and i say to them why we are here
00:15:49.040 why i was saying loudly to them and they were terrified because the similarity at the time
00:15:56.000 between us and the shape of our face look like more i am related to this family especially the creed and
00:16:05.200 al-oja all similar face thick mustache and all that when i was saying to them look we are brothers here
00:16:14.480 don't look at my ring don't look at i'm officer but i'm asking you also human us iraqi why we are here
00:16:21.600 why we don't see oh they and cosi the other son fighting here they terrified they don't know what
00:16:28.800 they answered because they think i am one of them and i'm spying for example or but anyway one day
00:16:40.240 my general called me you know we are on a front line it was like between us 600 meters no more on that
00:16:47.280 between the first line with the iranians uh he called we have a you know like a radio it's common called
00:16:55.920 dracal i like the sir is you know the general i said okay he said you come in now we leave everything

00:17:27.920 the republic palace i look at the letter and you know must be that on the you know let it come in
00:17:36.560 in 72 hours to the palace and like that anyway i took my car and i want i want it's like a it's like a
00:17:47.520 reception i give the letter i say just sit there uh i wait like 10 15 minutes um another guy come in
00:18:02.640 they put me in a car dark you can't see anything car is going around and there and left and right and i
00:18:10.640 don't know where is going and then i was in front of palace shape the door like a eagle

00:29:39.660 talking move on hand in a speech how he stand up how he sit in his chair even when you come in to sit in
00:29:51.040 your chair and which way you sit all that the hard part to start of watching torture what I never I was
00:30:06.140 hearing about it but I never saw it the first half an hour less than half an hour I become really ill and sick I
00:30:17.100 prove it from my head I can't take it you know and every time I through that push my head back watch I
00:30:25.500 watch and watch and watch and watch and watch day after day after day and a week after week become normal in my eye
00:30:35.260 and this is again as a part of intelligence service training
00:30:42.540 this past box the worst is common all these torture I was seen in the videos I was sick
00:30:51.580 but how about to see it life there was a bringing me somewhere the special prison
00:31:00.460 and here you see the torture life and you see how the people tortured and how
00:31:10.140 the nails team cables in the back and everything you know
00:31:18.140 this when I asked one am what he was the general of an intelligence service why
00:31:25.020 I go on through that they say to kill your heart you don't feel sorry for anybody
00:31:33.420 to be part of my party if you don't be like that you don't survive an error
00:31:42.780 you don't survive us a government and you present his song saddam song you don't survive
00:31:50.700 must you have that all that is done
00:31:56.220 and really even my personality start changing but it's still in my back here
00:32:03.020 say I'm lucky if you're here not all this alone interesting so so at this point you've watched
00:32:09.180 they've conditioned your mind they got to kill your heart they got to get you to realize that this is a
00:32:13.020 normal life so this is not gonna you know hurt you you're getting colder you're you know becoming a
00:32:20.460 little bit more of uh acceptance of the life of uh what it could like to be a day and uh going through
00:32:27.980 this so now what what happens next after this where you actually get to see who day and at what point
00:32:34.860 do you start spending more time with saddam hussein because they didn't want him to be in public
00:32:39.260 in dangerous places they wanted you to be in public what ways were you used
00:32:44.620 uh between the training i was meeting all day time to time he come on it's not like
00:32:50.860 i finish meeting him it was time to time he come on to see and where we are and how we talk and
00:32:59.260 and he was laughing you know he was really laughing and i don't know why but he was laughing anyway
00:33:05.660 after all this finished they come in go have a shower go have this go have that
00:33:17.260 a doctor come on he tested me and my mouth hand that it's like they have tissues cleaning my hand
00:33:27.020 they bring brand new suit brand chair everything been new from shoes socks everything is in you
00:33:34.380 what's going on is don't ask we go to see about an hour later car come on mona with me another car
00:33:44.300 behind us and this is where i met the president for first time how was his demeanor when you met him
00:33:51.100 how was he with him how was he with you uh he was sitting in his desk and he was writing something
00:33:58.620 and just put his head up and a smile uh and he look at me welcoming me he shake my hand
00:34:10.060 sit down i said was very good very nice not what we hear about him funny
00:34:21.100 uh he said god he gave me two songs you are the third now
00:34:27.900 anything you want ask anything in your dream just ask but try don't make me angry only this word
00:34:39.420 and i said sure sir i don't do anything make you angry but to be fair you know
00:34:46.060 you know he liked me he really liked me you know he never hurt me he always called me a son and he
00:34:55.980 mean it when he said to me he always say to my shoulder everything okay nobody upsetting you no i'm
00:35:03.740 okay perfect that's it got it now at this point your family you're not in contact with your family does
00:35:10.220 your family know what's going on or no my family they told them latif he being killed in the war
00:35:19.900 but his body we can't get him iranian passed this line and we can't get him they did a funeral for me
00:35:28.060 that's it even uh i still have the picture of this the black sign they put when somebody killed in the
00:35:41.420 war by name in it and i have the video of my funeral you have the video of your funeral yes i have it uh
00:35:51.340 uh yeah i have all these photos they took um for the funeral that's an army person he killed in the
00:36:01.420 war how long from from that until they found out you're alive how many years was that
00:36:10.060 less than two oh less than two years until they found out okay got it so so now you're in the family
00:36:17.180 saddam's calling you his son i had tuna i have three anybody making you upset you know cry don't
00:36:24.060 make me hungry you know he's telling you all this of his mindset um yeah when did you start seeing
00:36:30.380 how they lived and how he behaved i saw him i think second week of when i was in the palace when he was
00:36:42.380 coming you know he bring girls with him oh if you like somebody take her take her like you know look
00:36:51.180 take her you know i said no i am here for something else but uh after i finish all these
00:37:02.460 training he start coming uh if he don't want me to go for him as a buddy to double
00:37:09.660 uh he said okay you come and party party with me shave your beard okay shave your beard i'll just be
00:37:18.380 mustache i dress like a just normal suit i carry in a gun and all that and go behind him we with him
00:37:27.820 in his car but the parties i was seeing uh i don't think a king or prince or playboy
00:37:39.420 in the world with these parties how when you say that what do you mean by that well give us a little
00:37:44.940 bit of description one of the parties was his birthday his lot of
00:37:53.740 friend close friend to him i don't think he have a friend but i call them pimp i'm sorry for this wall
00:38:00.780 but this is the reality what i saw i call them pimps because they bring in girls
00:38:07.660 um they do every dirty thing just to be close to him one of the party was his birthday about 50
00:38:17.180 girls there and about 20 what called friend and i was in a corner having my cigar and a cognac beside me
00:38:30.380 he just passed 12 o'clock he took his machine gun and start shooting here and there he was absolutely
00:38:38.940 blocked drunk everyone's truck everyone take his clothes
00:38:48.860 everyone took his clothes out all of them you don't see any clothes in the place
00:38:56.060 man and woman this is one of the craziest thing really tell now the picture i can imagine that i was
00:39:05.580 there so they take their clothes off everybody took their clothes off yeah and then what happened
00:39:14.300 okay got it so everybody was just asking to okay i got it that makes sense yeah i thought you're gonna
00:39:20.300 say he took out the machine gun and did something to harm those girls uh because what i what i read
00:39:25.340 about him you know and and study about him over the years because you want to know what the family was
00:39:30.540 like uh they say based on what you read about he was more he was a psycho he was meaner he was more
00:39:40.700 vicious than his father ever was he took the level of viciousness to new heights is that a pretty true
00:39:46.620 statement or was his father more vicious than he was no he is he passed his father he passed a lot
00:39:56.060 at least his father when he was doing all these stuff he have strategy in his life he was doing that
00:40:05.340 for a politic issue for something he want to get in iraq but today he was doing it for
00:40:14.140 or maniac things is nothing is benefit of him uh you don't know what he want sometimes you see him
00:40:25.180 really laugh with a big mouth and half an hour later sitting in a corner crying like a baby
00:40:34.060 this kind of or the personality you don't know what he wants you don't know why he's doing that
00:40:42.060 uh when he drunk uh twice i heard from him he said to me my dad don't like me he like cosi more on me
00:40:55.180 this is why he don't want to give me a power this is why he thought cosi as a head of his security he
00:41:03.340 didn't put me i want to answer him but i i know my neck got to be bye bye now cosi was a little bit
00:41:13.660 more reserved to himself he was a little shy little quiet but he was calculating he had his dad's
00:41:20.380 calculating side based on what i read about him uh uh but he wasn't that uh uh public about it and i know
00:41:27.740 i know there was one time where he became the leader of secret service and his dad i think in 1984
00:41:32.940 made the day the chairman of the iraqi olympic uh committee yeah and he wanted this is the funny service
00:41:40.060 yeah uh cosi the second son he's more close to his dad this is why his dad trust him more one he's not like
00:41:51.820 all day he married even his youngest one he's very very clever for me personally i like him
00:42:04.540 very very intelligent he treats his people with him as a friend and a brother he don't hurt them like
00:42:12.700 all day what he do if he don't like you even your clothes in my group as a friend they say okay take him
00:42:20.460 shave his head shave his eyebrows uh send him to this place where be tortured okay just for fun for 10
00:42:28.700 days enough he's joking and this is what he do but of course i know no he give a chance second
00:42:36.860 he sit with you talk in a human way uh sometimes he said you don't look at me saddam son look at me as a
00:42:46.060 brother to your friend why you behave like that but saddam and cosi they was very hard and strong
00:42:58.220 with their family and they tried for example if any iraqi do something wrong i give you an example
00:43:06.540 maybe get forgiveness and a lot of forgiveness happen at the time
00:43:11.660 but anybody belong to saddam family cousin or cousin of cousin or coming from the creed
00:43:19.020 he'd been 10 times punished more than normal person
00:43:23.500 because saddam of course i was telling them when you behave like that you hated my name
00:43:31.820 and saddam to be very honest with you he was caring about his name so much
00:43:35.900 i saw one of his uh he was captain yeah he was captain one of the times or they sent me for torture
00:43:49.420 and was saddam closes sick you know security with him and from the creed because he did something
00:43:58.620 unusual in the street you know he he hit the traffic light or something was red and put he sent him
00:44:06.300 where i was being tortured for a month and he's a captain and his saddam family because he hit a red
00:44:14.700 light yeah he said because you behave you are belong to saddam name when people know you are my bodyguard
00:44:23.260 and behave like that how the normal people go to respect the law did did the the defy it seemed like
00:44:30.460 the father and the son were always uh uh at war like uh saddam and uday i remember one time i think
00:44:36.300 did did did um did uday one time accidentally shoot off his uh uncle saddam's uh uh brother brother
00:44:44.140 what happened to that story uh this is after i left oh that's after you right here yeah after i left i
00:44:53.020 heard it from one of these guys was with him uh but i tell you about kamil hannah what was saddam
00:45:02.300 um food tester and his saddam was calling me calling him son you know more very close to him he's a christian
00:45:10.620 person but he and his family work all for saddam since he was kid and i remember was a party
00:45:22.460 and mubarak president of egypt ex-president visit iraq and
00:45:32.780 kamil hannah did a party for them you know as a welcome into the country i think by order of saddam to
00:45:39.500 do welcoming party for them we was uh like a few buildings and i have bania and we coming from
00:45:50.060 habania to this place where it's called probably palace space or something like that as i can't
00:45:58.940 translate it exactly in english i was sitting and all day he was going around
00:46:10.300 kamil hannah invite every single one except all day
00:46:14.780 and at the time it was a few months or less than a year saddam married secretly and this is what i break the news
00:46:29.100 was when i came out and another woman uh her name samira and uh was true kamil hannah
00:46:41.580 and a day he hated kamil hannah because of that how you get a woman and is dead of my mother
00:46:49.580 and here was a war between them but he can't touch him because
00:46:54.860 he know how valuable kamil hannah to saddam and very close to him he can't touch him
00:47:02.860 anyway he started drinking he can hear the music and the singer from the other side
00:47:08.940 how did he say to one of these guys around him go tell him because kamil hannah i think he become a little
00:47:18.860 bit drunk he took his machine gun a celebration you know middle east shooting as a welcoming
00:47:27.580 he told him go tell this idiot to stop shooting he went and he saw kamil hannah he was shooting
00:47:35.100 him and kamil hannah told him tell a day i'm not taking order of him the only person i took order of him
00:47:45.740 is saddam hussein
00:47:49.580 and
00:47:52.220 like i was sitting in the couch and my leg is up and another guy was having fun drink
00:48:01.340 how they he have like
00:48:05.660 sticker but very long with a hard head
00:48:10.060 and you can take take it up as a sword when you pull it up as a sword inside
00:48:18.220 he went and we we go after him where he going nobody talk to me nobody pushing here i'm pushing here
00:48:25.580 we went around he went to kamil hannah with this heavy stick straight away to his head
00:48:31.980 a few times you can see the blood just keep going keep going
00:48:37.260 take the knife straight away cut his neck take the gun start shooting here and there
00:48:43.820 everyone
00:48:45.900 everyone terrified they took mubarak wife in the different car
00:48:50.780 straight away
00:48:52.620 the palace and formed kamil hannah he being shot and being this and that
00:48:58.060 i remember the president coming
00:49:01.420 into the garden
00:49:03.260 with the cars
00:49:04.780 a day he run
00:49:06.380 to where we was
00:49:08.940 he went to the bathroom and closed the door shut it down completely
00:49:15.100 screaming in the bathroom
00:49:18.220 we try
00:49:19.500 to open the door asking him to open the door nothing he keeps screaming screaming till
00:49:25.500 completely the voice is gone
00:49:27.420 and no more he can i can't hear we call him we call him no answer we break the door
00:49:35.900 he was on the floor he took a lot of tablets was
00:49:39.980 i don't know what they are a lot he took it a lot he want to kill himself
00:49:47.500 put him in the car to the hospital was hospital belonged to the palace called
00:49:52.300 the benzina and in this hospital they did what they did with him
00:50:00.540 we was around him president common
00:50:06.060 but he looked at everyone as a piece of dirt
00:50:12.700 why he didn't stop him on this he took a day he wasn't lying in the bed and took him like that
00:50:19.900 slapping him you must be dead you must do this is you're shaming me shaming the family
00:50:28.380 and anyway
00:50:30.140 i will put you in the jail for all your life and if i can hang you
00:50:34.940 but i leave this to the justice you say
00:50:40.380 and he put
00:50:41.340 so damn or that he put the judge is the one of the most powerful person in iraq and he say
00:50:54.780 don't look at him as my son judge him as a murder for any person
00:51:00.220 and believe it or no okay we say what they say saddam dictator and like that
00:51:10.540 but the judge he sent ode to death penalty
00:51:15.980 ode mother contact king hussein of jordan to involve in this problem wow
00:51:25.180 oh they has been taken to really really horrible uh prison cell really bad i mean bad you know
00:51:40.540 three doors to go inside the cell three doors and he by order of saddam
00:51:47.180 you don't give him except bread and water nothing else bread water no as another thing and if i hear
00:51:59.260 anybody treated him or look at him as saddam son i will put him with him
00:52:06.540 and he put i remember three officers of his security to spy if somebody break the rule
00:52:20.300 till one day we see the plane of king hussein arrived in baghdad
00:52:26.860 and president saddam he go to the airport pick him
00:52:30.620 and king hussein of jordan involved to give an amnesty to
00:52:42.140 okay and you know in arabic ways or middle eastern ways when somebody coming
00:52:50.380 uh asking you for forgiveness or all that you should take it and you know this is a king
00:52:58.540 and was you know friend with iraq and like that he can go back
00:53:05.980 without of get what he want
00:53:09.900 and here
00:53:12.540 saddam say okay i don't let you go without of do what you ask me but
00:53:20.780 he's a shame in me i don't want him
00:53:23.500 in iraq anymore i want to kick him out of iraq and he never come back here
00:53:29.900 and this is what they agree
00:53:33.020 he order i think all these
00:53:36.780 temps we can say
00:53:39.500 to be jailed
00:53:42.220 you know
00:53:42.540 i've been put back to project seven i'm not allowed to go anywhere
00:53:50.540 i think two and a half months we heard all day after he
00:53:56.220 they sent him to swissland as an exile don't come back he killed somebody else in swissland
00:54:02.380 because it was a diplomatic community you have to have he's not allowed to be arrested we've been
00:54:09.500 deported back to iraq
00:54:10.700 back again the same circle when he came back you went back to the regular life again
00:54:21.340 regular we don't say regular but uh
00:54:26.220 he become worse actually wait he became worse when he got back
00:54:30.460 yeah worse worse i mean worse you know not uh like what he left before but
00:54:38.380 so was he the kind of person that hated being humiliated by his dad
00:54:42.940 yes he was really
00:54:46.060 he you know what you are saying when he drunk are you saying you know if my dad go and i become
00:54:55.900 president i make every iraqi feel guilty saddam is gone and you imagine what he was thinking
00:55:06.780 um would you would you say he had a deep hatred towards his father or no like did he hate his dad or
00:55:13.660 do you know was it complicated hate law okay did he want to take over that and be the president did he
00:55:23.260 have aspirations of being president yes yes i can say this hundred percent what was in his head his
00:55:31.740 his thinking uh even cosi when he was saying you know sometimes they argue you know this is between
00:55:41.980 other and cosi you don't see them very very rare they are together you know very rare because
00:55:50.780 they always argue and of course even he's younger he telling him okay you want to be president after
00:55:58.380 the president you know god give him life but with this behavior you don't belong in this chair if you get it
00:56:06.380 and this is always the argument between them cosi would say that to a day or udai would say yeah
00:56:13.180 no of course i'd say it all day yeah got it got it interesting yeah i mean you you you see these
00:56:19.820 stories of what happens with them so at what point did you say i got to get out of this i don't want
00:56:24.300 to do this anymore how long did that take because i know you said that your family thought you were
00:56:27.740 dead for two years but two years later they found out you're not dead when did you say i want out of this
00:56:32.700 life i tried to kill myself how what i tried to what caused you to get to that point uh one time i was
00:56:44.700 sitting in the top uh building of iraqi olympic committee uh all day he raped a girl and the father he was
00:56:56.700 very known in baghdad as a famous person you know he coming to complain and say to him you know you rape
00:57:09.820 my doctor and this and that oh they were sitting behind his desk office and he started shouting to
00:57:21.020 him well what do you want and your doctor he's a whore and you know he started screaming and and the other
00:57:28.620 man he can't hear somebody call his doctor whore
00:57:37.740 he did something i i as i remember spitting him or something bad word he say
00:57:42.620 i was sitting on the left the table front of me fruit and he threw his gun to me like that and he
00:57:52.860 said to me shoot him i took the gun and i put it in the chair they say shoot him i say no i'm not doing
00:58:02.940 that you want to shoot him you do it is not me no i order you to shoot you i say okay took the knife and
00:58:09.500 i start cutting myself look if you can see here and here and here boss say just the blood was all over
00:58:23.420 you crazy this what hospital they bring me to hospital
00:58:29.340 uh yeah stitches and like that see come on you're crazy you are this or that
00:58:34.780 uh anyway to make it a little bit shorter until i met the president you know i say to him i don't
00:58:44.540 want to complete work with this guy uh he gave me a mercedes 300 svl was zero mileage in it
00:58:57.260 and uh before that uh i've been tortured and thrown out of my family house they didn't recognize me
00:59:12.380 because the guy what we sit now in jordan
00:59:17.420 he shaved my eyebrows my head
00:59:20.060 it must start you know this is in middle east humiliation
00:59:28.220 my back you can't see only lines is open blood
00:59:35.980 anyway
00:59:38.780 i was really
00:59:41.180 sore you know they threw me like piece of potato like bag of potato outside the home and
00:59:51.020 my mother my sister didn't recognize who i am only through my voice
00:59:57.180 you know bold hair is nothing it's like uh
01:00:02.060 boiled eggs they took me in and
01:00:07.900 you are dead we did a funeral for you you know how this happened i i told them the story and
01:00:14.780 uh my dad he had a friend he had a private hospital in a good area
01:00:25.660 he bring me to this hospital was a poison in my blood
01:00:29.580 become you know mostly change all my blood you know from the torture and where they put me and you know
01:00:36.780 like uh you know the manhole with a lot of toilet stuff in it that cat that you know every rats everything

01:05:40.380 one i don't write any book two i'll be disappeared three i don't be in the media four i never say anything
01:05:51.660 about my ex-life and i live my life and i have my passport my great family my this since the book
01:06:04.780 i wrote it and i start in the media my life demolished up till now i'm talking to you
01:06:14.460 i don't have a life even saddam gun even bad gun even more saddam and are they gone but another
01:06:27.420 chapter start with the another government in iraq now exactly worse what they did to me
01:06:36.700 since saddam fell i have four death penalty issued by this new regime in iraq
01:06:48.700 why i was dream what intel do you what intel do you have that scares them that concerns them
01:06:55.340 i have a mouth and i know them and those people we wasn't saying team of iraqi opposition
01:07:02.140 i know up and down of those guys what the guy he was driving my kids omar 27 years ago to school
01:07:12.060 he become prime minister you imagine in iraq then another one she was a chef cooking in my house she
01:07:19.900 became third secretary in iraqi and that's in holland you know everyone out of my house he become leader now
01:07:27.900 a people a people you know ibrahim jaffari this guy what he become second prime minister in iraq
01:07:38.300 he's registered in london he's a psychopath he went to the social worker excuse me pm himself because they
01:07:50.220 cut his hundred pound of rent and now six billion pound he owned in britain
01:08:01.340 six million pounds and this is a small fish
01:08:05.740 and when i talk maybe you visit my channel on youtube you know this is six channel verified channel
01:08:14.140 they shut it down for me 1.2 million follower in youtube verified channel page one kick gun
01:08:26.620 one and a half million in facebook switch off they find people they buy in people because they don't
01:08:34.620 want to hear they dare what i know about them and i do life always i do life now with with my follower
01:08:42.220 so even my enemy they start following me and telling me you're telling the truth you know truth is hard
01:08:51.580 truth is hard those guys were running iraq make me personally and this is first time i will say that
01:09:03.020 make me make me feel so sorry i was opposition to saddam hussein compare saddam to those guys
01:09:14.460 he's a prophet coming from allah or god i'll call him what you call him compared to these guys saddam he
01:09:21.500 didn't kill in 35 years what those people killed in the past 17 years saddam he was running the country
01:09:29.660 country up and down and you have every month food you got your local shop you get it for free
01:09:38.220 he was running iraq 10 billion pounds okay a year now 130 billion uh dollar i say a year
01:09:51.420 a year half of the nation living from rubbish they don't have food 17 years of democracy
01:10:00.540 no electricity no water no education no medical health no system no nothing absolutely nothing
01:10:10.220 we have musul gun destroyed as a flat land now but the most of history
01:10:16.940 every sunni area has been destroyed i'm not against anybody not a religion no anything
01:10:26.540 nothing i never talk religion because for me religion is destroying of mind no matter which way
01:10:36.380 i never talk religion or believe in this or that i believe what here i believe what i see i believe
01:10:44.620 what i read and after that i make my mind you don't come to me and tell me 1400 years ago something
01:10:51.500 happened where is your proof story we can't tell a story those people and they are not even shia
01:11:01.580 you know they saying they are shia but for me no i have a lot of friends here they are nice people they
01:11:10.620 are educated people they are they don't have this hate for other people you know i have so much iranian
01:11:19.100 friends i have a friend from chafana from everywhere and though i never look at the person which religion
01:11:25.820 or background coming you know let's even question for you because sometimes when when you know anytime
01:11:33.020 we do interviews with anybody we we we will typically do extensive research and the team
01:11:38.940 will get a lot of data and we'll contact some people some of the people will say
01:11:42.860 some of the stories you say you over exaggerate and it didn't have you know you have to say yeah
01:11:48.060 they're fake and fake they're not real it didn't happen you waited for them to die until
01:11:52.860 you told the story when they died and then you came up so some of the people are saying that about
01:11:57.580 you what do you say to people that say none of these things you talk about are true you've made up
01:12:02.380 what do you say to them three newspapers wrote this three of them they are friends to each other one
01:12:10.860 he starts he's in ireland he's not a journalist two nothing to do with journalism three when he wrote the
01:12:22.780 article to the guardian in britain he wrote it as opinion if you go search of this guy background
01:12:35.500 he bagged me in ireland to come and do another review with me
01:12:41.580 and i welcome him to my home what is not easy for me to bring somebody to the home but this guy he
01:12:47.900 been paid to something new one he's not a journalist he write a small line and local paper about a new
01:12:59.260 pubs is open an area a new restaurant open and i wrote a full article on my website about him
01:13:07.340 but at the time give me one and whole world from trump to smallest person in the world
01:13:17.900 not being humiliated by media if he's you know no one uh or he have enemy or have you know jealousy kill
01:13:29.020 sometimes when they say in latif nobody heard about him till he wait a day and of course i die
01:13:37.340 and love it coming out no in 1993 my first book coming out in vienna by norcoff lag was a book
01:13:47.100 thousand page okay 1993 this is 10 years early of ode and kose yeah when the book come out i get the
01:13:57.820 first assassination attempt i think a few weeks later second assassination attempt was a bomb under my car
01:14:05.740 and everything has been uh documented by the austrian intelligence service but they don't want to say it
01:14:14.780 why because was an agenda between iraq and two country financial was at the time controlling austria was
01:14:23.420 iran and iraq you know there was controlling the intelligence service they have everything in vienna
01:14:32.940 you know was iranian government and iraqi government at the time all the iraqi embassies
01:14:40.620 after the second gulf or the invasion of kuwait has been shut down except two one in switzerland
01:14:47.180 and one in vienna was international uh law and they close everything they don't have anything
01:14:56.860 and i was fighting okay in 1994 i get the assassination attempt in 1995 i get assassination attempt
01:15:07.900 and 90 in march 1995 i come to london running from austria i've been shot here but the bullet doesn't come
01:15:18.540 to me was one of my guys again oh they personally called me i was wishing at the time in 95 like we have
01:15:30.460 this technology you can record for the phone you know he said to me 3rd of july 1995 your dad is here in my office
01:15:43.980 if you don't stop you never see your dad again there you go this is your dad i talked to my dad
01:15:52.940 the one word the one word say to me god make my life god he take it not this motherfucker okay
01:16:05.260 this is a brave man
01:16:08.300 fourth of july next day after 12 hours i think no more on that my father was killed
01:16:15.020 i paid the price until now i am eating myself because of that but again where those people was
01:16:27.900 okay when i sit we can't say media can be full right media they have their sources and half of the
01:16:37.820 media they have very good connection with intelligence service that is not intelligent service police
01:16:44.220 secret service i don't know what correct how can latif yahya fool the world from 92
01:16:54.140 up till 2003 right to how can latif yahya sit and make up this story
01:17:05.020 if you read the book i wrote it in 1992 correct if i wasn't inside this
01:17:12.940 how i know every nails where in the palace i described the palace exactly how i lived in it correct
01:17:22.940 who can go in this world to saddam palace and live there correct you can't drive even outside the palace
01:17:34.220 in baghdad in baghdad how can i be inside and describe all these what inside the palace and the secret and
01:17:41.900 everything and all that intelligence service here in the west they say to me
01:17:47.980 you know now we found because an article or two somebody wrote about you second journalist
01:17:58.300 ed cesar ed cesar
01:18:01.260 contact producing company when we was filming in malta
01:18:07.900 who is ed cesar he's a friend with this guy in an island
01:18:12.540 he told him if you read the article ex-wife i don't know what okay give me one ex if she was good she
01:18:27.180 don't be ex correct if she is a ex she got to talk good about love if you're here no correct she got
01:18:37.820 to fabricate a story and say story and like that but again i answer even she's my ex because i don't
01:18:46.060 like the drugs because i don't like somebody stealing from my bank account because i don't like
01:18:51.900 somebody sit having sex in my house in my bed when i'm traveling for business and when i catch them
01:19:02.860 okay this is what happened this is the irish police and when i been hit by irish police 21 stitches in my
01:19:15.660 face broken nose everything since i've been injured this 11th of april 2000 up till now today
01:19:28.380 7th of december 2020 i want to bring this sergeant to court i can't
01:19:37.100 with all the power i have with all the money i have with all the lawyer i have
01:19:41.260 i can't this is the west okay they can't put you up up up but when they finish off you
01:19:52.540 they destroy your life and here in the west
01:19:58.060 you can see the fabrication of people when they come and claim refugee status
01:20:03.180 and you can see the fabrication of a lot of people claim refugee status but they've been sold
01:20:12.300 themselves there they get the political refugee status why is somebody like here nearly 30 years
01:20:20.780 30 years if i was killed killed 10 people i don't sit in a prison 30 years correct
01:20:28.620 30 years only two years ago britain give me a refugee status
01:20:38.540 two years ago okay wow working paying tax my ex-wife she was irish 18 years in ireland 22 million
01:20:50.940 euro investment uh no criminal record my kids irish
01:20:56.220 uh my wife irish i own everything i don't claim anything but still no three times they reject me
01:21:07.020 minister discretion why i found in the end why because i was one of my interviews did with uh
01:21:17.180 uh hard talk british program because i stripped the irish government and this is the truth i didn't
01:21:30.940 do something because they are corrupt i talk about them because they always ask bribery from me for any
01:21:38.780 project i do must i give brown envelope to my project begun it's like i'm sitting in iraq or iran or
01:21:45.260 i don't know where it's not a european country 18 years with investment and everything they reject me
01:21:56.620 i left ireland after they kicked me out with no reason 18 years they give me investor visa
01:22:06.220 every year every year must i go and get my renewal 2014 i want to renew it they refuse me why you don't
01:22:23.980 have any connection in this country anymore okay what what now what should i do you leave the country
01:22:31.660 or you'll be by force deported to iraq okay and i say you know what happened to me if i go back to iraq
01:22:41.100 let me say this is what we can do i say excuse me i say you and your country now i left
01:22:49.180 i left like a gypsy every day somewhere i start from finland coming to sweden coming to this everyone reject
01:22:56.220 me it's like i'm a disease somebody don't want to touch me why because they think i'm a trouble for them
01:23:05.020 they think if something happened to me the country got to be blamed right i come to britain
01:23:14.220 i claim refugee status my partner she's british my two kids british
01:23:21.580 and they don't want to give me they don't want to give me three and a half year i have companies i

01:23:35.660 allowed to work till you the decision come on you can see how the business work here okay and every
01:23:44.540 single day me and the lawyer sit call the home office and every one we get he telling us different
01:23:53.260 story but we record all that we record all that in the end have somewhere we found to complain about
01:24:03.740 the home office what they doing we send the three three record each record 15 minutes
01:24:09.740 after the home office no i record every single thing
01:24:20.780 five days later i get my refugee status
01:24:25.580 five days does not take more exactly my better date 2018
01:24:32.940 14th of june register post come to me the postman say to me must you sign here i don't know what in it
01:24:39.500 i open it full status because they afraid i go with these records out
01:24:49.420 so now you're you're safe now uh where you are in britain you you can stay there you can work you
01:24:54.460 don't have to worry about going to another place no i'm not worried but i'm worried
01:25:00.780 see saddam hussein at the time we know the intelligence service house work right
01:25:06.620 okay after 2003 for these mullahs what coming to iraq they have already based in britain
01:25:19.900 they have very old base here since 70s okay the billions of pounds and dollars and the wealth
01:25:30.220 coming to britain from iraq unbelievable here
01:25:37.420 the threat back to love if you're here do you know just last week the intelligence service or the
01:25:45.340 police coming to my house calling me your life in danger they put alarm in every single window
01:25:53.740 connected to the police they put a black box uh with the key and the bottoms give it to me and my
01:26:01.820 partner this must be with you and if i say what's going on they say just if something happened press
01:26:07.420 this button they know my life now then you're more on saddam time on saddam time i kind of played the
01:26:15.820 game and so dumb time i can travel i can go i can get but now no you know and especially with this age
01:26:25.820 when i was in ireland before i come to britain i'll be shot i'll be shot by shia militias
01:26:32.300 but they put five million for my head and this is why i'm disabled now
01:26:37.340 where is the law where is the logic what claim and lot if you're here he fabricated stuff and like that
01:26:49.260 and now when people go before hundreds of people and media and company
01:26:55.180 why you go google love if you're here why always come in these bad articles in the top over 100 000
01:27:05.180 pages why all these people always they put this up you know google kind of play with those
01:27:13.820 okay why they put this because you see now everything fast when you google sand now when you put full name
01:27:23.260 the first two line coming okay if some is good oh perfect i like this i pick the perfect thing i
01:27:30.060 don't care about what the rest down a bloody oh the first article oh fabrication oh he's live he's that
01:27:37.740 that's it this is the picture straight away coming yeah you know because people become lazy they don't go
01:27:45.420 i don't say be investigator but ask to get an answer you don't hear it
01:27:53.260 you don't hear it from here and there that's i say to them i say to them all those people
01:28:01.980 if you have and now after the invasion you have all the documentation of iraqi intelligence service before
01:28:12.380 if you find anything again and the problem with the cia in 1991 when they took me out
01:28:23.820 okay they checked me twice they put me in lie detector okay twice not one twice and this is why they took me
01:28:35.580 out why they didn't take it at the time was you know the kurdish war and there wasn't a turkish border
01:28:44.460 why they didn't take two hundred thousand five why they took latif yahya because they know i wasn't lying
01:28:54.540 they saw all these holes in my body they saw all these torture they saw photos and my id
01:29:02.460 what they promised me to give it to me back but they took me out and they said we send it to you and
01:29:08.620 i will see it again this is why i don't talk to media a lot with all my respect to the media some of them
01:29:17.500 is good but this is why i pull out i say why i do it i create more enemy because i tell
01:29:28.220 how is work and how i you know nearly 30 years in the media i know every single thing how is
01:29:36.620 sick okay who is better me or bbc in britain sure bbc right two days ago was a program
01:29:45.660 about diana after 20 25 years channel for the british one
01:29:52.780 take the death of bbc 25 years ago what they did with diana all fabrication all the lie the bbc did to
01:30:00.620 her till being killed and they are now in a really catastrophic way and this is a bbc the channel of
01:30:09.900 the country of course fabricate fabricate a story against who diana she's a princess she's not what if
01:30:17.500 you're here and she's killed and now all the dirt coming out lie is short correct if they had
01:30:29.180 anything again it's not if you're here long time ago was in the media i don't want to somebody say he
01:30:36.940 and she no put a decumon what the people said about me was the pimp i was talking about them in the
01:30:47.420 beginning of the program do you understand what i get it i know clearly which one you're talking about
01:30:54.460 yeah i know clearly which one you're talking about this by the way a couple questions uh
01:31:01.020 was there a double for saddam as well or no did he have a double because there's rumors he had a lot of
01:31:05.420 doubles i saw one okay just one anybody else and i was laughing about this book uh the guy what he
01:31:18.220 interrogates saddam uh in the cia or something when he wrote the book he says saddam he say i don't have
01:31:26.700 double no one go to say i have though because when you have double this means a coward yeah and saddam he
01:31:33.020 don't show he's a coward person got it correct yeah that's how you and then his his sons when
01:31:40.060 they got killed july 22nd 03 i believe it's july 22nd 03 uh what were they killed from i know there
01:31:46.220 was a assassination attempt but what do you know the story because i've heard a lot of different versions
01:31:50.620 of it the man the man what he say where is all they uncle say he told the american they are there
01:32:04.140 because this when they come into this guy i think oh they uncle say as i hear from
01:32:13.260 a sister of them okay this is more and you can go more closer of that
01:32:21.660 uh i think they give him a three million dollar to stay a week
01:32:29.020 till they started because there was being kicked from syria and they don't have anywhere to go till
01:32:36.620 they go to this guy what they know him he was a part of uh friends of saddam or something like that
