Transcript

00:00:00.000 Trump, U.S. may almost completely scrap income taxes due to tariff revenue.
00:00:06.140 Now, you know what that is.
00:00:07.560 That's kind of like you're talking dirty to a girl and you say,
00:00:11.400 you won't even know what I'm going to do to you tonight.
00:00:14.200 And then later on it's like, well, it only was like 48 seconds.
00:00:20.360 I thought you were going to really, well, yeah, but next time.
00:00:23.920 You won't even believe what I'm going to do to you next time.
00:00:27.760 President Trump is talking dirty.
00:00:30.000 Here, OK, and taxpayers are sitting there saying, man, keep talking dirty to me, OK?
00:00:35.600 You won't even know what I'm going to do to your taxes.
00:00:38.260 What are you going to do to my taxes?
00:00:40.140 I'm going to eliminate them and you won't be paying any of it because of tariff income tax.
00:00:44.400 Oh, my God, this is so great.
00:00:45.600 I'm getting so excited.
00:00:46.860 That's what it's sounding like, right?
00:00:48.480 That's a pretty big promise if you can pull it off.
00:00:52.900 Here's President Trump talking dirty to all taxpayers in America.
00:00:57.920 Go ahead, Rob.
00:00:58.360 I think we'll substantially be cutting and maybe cutting out completely, but we'll be cutting income tax.
00:01:06.640 Could be almost completely cutting it because the money we're taking in is going to be so large.
00:01:12.140 And yet other countries who have been ripping us off for many, many years and many years, they've just been ripping us to shreds.
00:01:19.360 OK, so, Tom, what are the chances that we're getting rid of income taxes?
00:01:28.060 Zero.
00:01:29.240 The federal government establishment will never allow that knob to be removed.
00:01:35.680 That knob on their dashboard is precious.
00:01:40.600 Now, do I believe that Trump has a vision to do it?
00:01:44.500 Absolutely.
00:01:45.740 Am I aligned with that vision and I hope that this can come true?
00:01:49.740 Absolutely.
00:01:50.260 But I'll tell you, it's going to be tough to get there.
00:01:54.180 And the analysis early on that says it'll reduce the deficit by $2.8 trillion.
00:02:01.480 Deficit is different from debt.
00:02:03.540 As long as we have a deficit, we're making more debt every year.
00:02:06.900 And so we need to remove deficit to zero so we have something of a surplus.
00:02:11.500 Now we can start paying off debt.
00:02:13.300 And I don't think that the establishment would let it go away.
00:02:18.140 Now, can the tariffs get so high that he can put in a massive tax cut that says, hey, look, this is now being replaced by this.
00:02:27.160 So I'm going to take the weight off the American people and I'm going to really reduce income taxes.
00:02:31.960 Yep.
00:02:32.300 I think could that come in two years?
00:02:33.840 I believe it definitely could.
00:02:35.240 It'll be a fight and the midterms have to go well.
00:02:37.920 But if the midterms go at least well enough to keep enough of the House and the tariffs show that they're generating that, then on the second half, the lame duck part of his presidency, as they call it, you know, 26 to 28, you know what?
00:02:54.500 Could he radically cut income taxes?
00:02:56.760 Absolutely he could.
00:02:58.060 Remember, once upon a time, the country was run on tariffs.
00:03:01.980 Once upon a time, that's where we got it.
00:03:04.240 And not a long time ago, by the way, 110 years ago.
00:03:06.700 That's correct.
00:03:07.140 We're not talking about 200 years ago in the 1700s or 1800s.
00:03:09.900 Yeah, I believe that the total income tax emergence was the four years after World War I.
00:03:17.140 I believe it's like 1916 to 1920, I believe, is when the emergence of it was, the modern tax.
00:03:24.880 So, and, by the way, that was when the charities were created because they wanted to find ways to get Carnegie and others to invest into things like hospitals and schools and stuff.
00:03:37.000 And so they created the tax deduction, you know, moments after the tax were created, the tax deduction was created.
00:03:43.220 But that's my two cents.
00:03:44.780 I think, could we see it come down?
00:03:46.600 Yes, we could.
00:03:47.800 But I don't think the establishment in Washington should, you know, would let it happen.
00:03:53.920 Look how much they fight the balanced budget amendment.
00:03:56.480 The balanced budget amendment that simply says the states have to balance their budgets, so does the federal government.
00:04:02.080 They don't want that because they are perfectly content to debt us into the future.
00:04:07.160 Well, CBO estimates that before counting for economic side effects, the new tariffs will reduce primary deficits by $2.5 trillion and cut interest payments by another $500 billion.
00:04:17.080 For total deficit reduction, $3 trillion after factoring in modest economic drag, slightly lower GDP, and temporarily higher inflation.
00:04:24.860 The net deficit reduction is pegged at $2.8 trillion.
00:04:28.620 Adam, your thoughts on this?
00:04:30.200 So this is part of a bigger story that is basically pervasive in America today, and it's this whole concept about affordability.
00:04:36.620 So if you've heard this buzzword that keeps popping up, affordability, affordability, affordability, this used to be called, it's the economy, stupid.
00:04:43.900 Now it's affordability, stupid.
00:04:46.100 So the cost of living has skyrocketed in America over the last decade.
00:04:50.360 This is what happens when you print trillions of dollars, quantitative easing, as they call it, or quantitative tightening in some respects.
00:04:58.520 But we're living in the greatest country ever created, the greatest country in the world.
00:05:04.680 But for a lot of people, it doesn't feel that way because they can't afford anything.
00:05:08.940 That's why a lot of young people are frustrated.
00:05:10.700 Like, buying a house, like, dream on, buddy.
00:05:12.940 It's not going to happen right now.
00:05:14.000 You know, getting a new car is as expensive as rent was five, ten years ago.
00:05:20.080 Food, eggs, prices are crazy.
00:05:22.180 Healthcare, now they're supporting Luigi Mangione because he's anti-insurance conglomerates and all that.
00:05:29.060 So if you can fix affordability in America, you can fix America.
00:05:33.580 You know, the whole American dream is the land of opportunity, land to be where you want to be, land to do what you want to do.
00:05:39.060 It doesn't feel like that for a lot of people because they can't afford those things.
00:05:43.060 So in my opinion, this is all sort of downstream of Trump trying to make, quote unquote, America affordable again.
00:05:50.500 That's what's needed.
00:05:51.720 The most ironic part is that the least affordable cities in America are all big blue cities.
00:05:59.460 New York City, this is why they elected Mom Donnie as if he's going to solve it, not going to happen.
00:06:02.940 Boston, L.A., San Francisco, Boston, D.C., all these big blue cities are completely unaffordable.
00:06:10.540 So this is why, don't be shocked when you hear this term, affordability come up over and over and over again because that's what Trump is focused on.
00:06:17.640 Number one issue in America.
00:06:18.940 Folks, you know what today is?
