Verdict with Ted Cruz - ANOTHER Illegal Immigrant Rapes & Murders an Innocent Woman, and Biden Prepares to Give Amnesty & Register them to Vote!

00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.

00:00:02.540 Guaranteed human.

00:00:05.340 Welcome. It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you.

00:00:09.420 And Senator, my oh my, do we have a lot to talk about,

00:00:12.620 especially on the issue of illegal immigrants.

00:00:15.240 And really, it's three different problems that we're now having in this country,

00:00:19.740 all because of Biden's policies.

00:00:22.380 Well, that's exactly right.

00:00:23.580 Tragically, we've had yet another woman murdered

00:00:26.240 by yet another illegal immigrant released by Joe Biden.

00:00:29.840 In this instance, Rachel Moran, a mother of five in Maryland,

00:00:33.980 raped and murdered by an illegal immigrant that Joe Biden released into this country. 0.98

00:00:38.640 This is a pattern week after week after week. 0.98

00:00:41.560 Americans are dying. 0.97

00:00:43.580 Secondly, in the face of this, the Biden administration is announcing

00:00:47.400 not that they plan to secure the border,

00:00:49.260 not that they want to protect American citizens,

00:00:51.040 not that they want to keep your family safe.

00:00:53.520 No, they're announcing that they want to give amnesty

00:00:56.260 to over a million illegal immigrants to illegally issue an executive order,

00:01:00.820 giving amnesty and encouraging even more illegal immigrants to come to this country.

00:01:05.480 And finally, we now know the real reason why,

00:01:09.860 which is that welfare offices and other agencies in 49 states across this country

00:01:16.640 are providing voter registration forms to migrants without requiring proof of citizenship.

00:01:23.060 And in the House, the Democrats are fighting viciously

00:01:26.140 against requiring proof of citizenship before voters register.

00:01:30.900 This is all about votes.

00:01:32.740 This is all about power for Democrats.

00:01:35.260 And that explains why they're willing to turn their head

00:01:38.540 and ignore all of the people being killed.

00:01:41.420 Yeah, 49 states.

00:01:42.480 That's a key point.

00:01:43.200 We're going to break that down for you in the shocking details.

00:01:45.600 I want to tell you, though, about our friends over at Preborn.

00:01:48.800 This June marks two years since the overturn of Roe v. Wade.

00:01:52.900 But did you know that the number of abortions actually increased the following year?

00:01:56.960 In 2023, the amount of abortions reached its highest level since 2012.

00:02:01.880 And with the abortion pill accounting for up to 63% of all abortions,

00:02:06.280 it's tragically no surprise.

00:02:08.380 Now, Preborn is continuing to stand strong for women in crisis and at-risk babies.

00:02:14.500 Preborn is a ministry of compassion that showers women and babies with God's love,

00:02:19.660 providing free ultrasounds to mothers with unplanned pregnancies

00:02:24.360 to introduce them to the precious life growing inside of them.

00:02:27.780 Now, here's the part that's incredible.

00:02:29.780 When a mother meets her baby on ultrasound and hears their heartbeat,

00:02:33.760 she is twice as likely to choose life. 0.98

00:02:36.280 And $28 is what it will cost for you to sponsor one ultrasound.

00:02:42.060 And $140 helps to rescue five babies.

00:02:46.200 Your generous tax-deductible donation will also help to provide women

00:02:49.820 who choose life with assistance for up to two years after making that choice.

00:02:55.680 So please give your best gift to donate.

00:02:58.480 And yes, you can make a difference with just $28 to sponsor an ultrasound.

00:03:03.320 All you have to do is dial pound 250 on your phone.

00:03:06.980 That's dial pound 250 and say the keyword baby.

00:03:11.280 That's pound 250.

00:03:12.900 Say the keyword baby or visit preborn.com slash verdict.

00:03:17.920 That's preborn.com slash verdict.

00:03:21.540 Senator, I hate that we have to start a show with such sad and horrific news

00:03:29.220 about this incredible mother who, in this case,

00:03:34.160 got a lot of media attention before we knew who the killer was.

00:03:38.140 Because you have a mother of five that is viciously attacked.

00:03:42.020 Now, we had no idea, as I mentioned a second ago,

00:03:44.800 that this was an illegal immigrant that did this.

00:03:46.940 Now we know it was an illegal immigrant from El Salvador

00:03:49.700 that's been charged with the rape and the killing of this mother.

00:03:53.720 This is just a horrific case.

00:03:56.300 You know the name of Lake and Riley.

00:03:58.600 Yeah.

00:03:58.860 You need to know the name of Rachel Morin.

00:04:01.440 Rachel Morin was 37 years old.

00:04:03.320 As you said, she was a mom with five kids. 0.98

00:04:05.880 And she went out jogging, just like Lake and Riley.

00:04:08.240 She was out jogging.

00:04:09.180 She was running on the Ma and Pa Trail,

00:04:12.000 which is a pedestrian trail in Bel Air, which is in Maryland.

00:04:17.620 It's described as a quiet and typically safe town about 28 miles northeast of Baltimore.

00:04:26.800 So she was running August of last year, August 5th,

00:04:29.920 and her body was found on the trail the following day.

00:04:33.420 And she had been brutally raped and murdered.

00:04:37.420 And so police had sketches of who the offender was.

00:04:42.620 They had sketches, and then they ended up getting a lead from DNA evidence.

00:04:46.720 And there was DNA evidence that was linked to this suspect,

00:04:51.900 who we now know the person they have arrested is an illegal immigrant from El Salvador

00:04:59.720 named Victor Martinez Hernandez.

00:05:03.860 And this weekend, there was a press conference.

00:05:08.080 And Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey Goller, here's what he said about this defendant.

00:05:12.840 He said, quote,

00:05:14.040 Five hours after meeting with Morin's family and just before midnight our time,

00:05:18.960 police in Tulsa, Oklahoma, assisted by our federal partners,

00:05:22.640 located and arrested Rachel's murderer, Victor Antonio Martinez Hernandez.

00:05:29.480 He was charged with first-degree murder and first-degree rape.

00:05:34.900 The 23-year-old migrant illegally crossed in the United States in February of 2023,

00:05:40.100 the police announced.

00:05:41.820 And here's what the sheriff continued.

00:05:43.700 This is, again, a quote.

00:05:45.480 We all suspected that Rachel was not his first victim.

00:05:49.640 It is my understanding that this suspect, this monster, fled to the United States illegally

00:05:58.180 after committing the brutal murder of a young woman in El Salvador a month earlier in January of 2023.

00:06:07.300 And the sheriff said their first DNA match for Martinez Hernandez was from a Los Angeles attack in March of 2023.

00:06:15.120 So understand, this person murders someone in El Salvador in January of 2023.

00:06:21.780 He comes to America illegally in February of 2023.

00:06:26.280 And then in March of 2023, a month later, he commits a violent attack in Los Angeles.

00:06:34.260 And the violent attack in Los Angeles,

00:06:36.520 the Los Angeles Police Department collected a hardhat left behind at the scene of a March 2023 home invasion

00:06:44.780 that turned violent, leaving multiple people, including minor children, injured.

00:06:50.040 And the suspect allegedly broke into the home in the middle of the night

00:06:53.580 and assaulted the family inside before he was chased out.

00:06:58.060 Surveillance footage captured the man leaving shirtless through the front door.

00:07:02.700 And so that DNA connected this murderer who had murdered before to the murderer to the murder of Rachel Morin.

00:07:12.080 And you have to ask the question, how many is enough?

00:07:15.440 How many Americans have to be murdered by illegal immigrants that Joe Biden, the Democrats release over and over and over again

00:07:23.220 for people to say no more protect our people?

00:07:28.320 Senator, you and I have talked about this a lot.

00:07:30.460 But it's no longer these types of heinous crimes happening in states that border the southern border.

00:07:38.560 This happened 1,800 miles away from the southern border.

00:07:41.580 This is everywhere now in every city in America.

00:07:44.300 It doesn't matter how far away you are from the southern border.

00:07:47.820 And that's the reason why I think so many Americans now are turning on Joe Biden, realizing every city is a border city.

00:07:53.780 Yeah, look, this is a suburb of Baltimore and a small residential suburb of Baltimore. 0.99

00:07:59.480 And this illegal immigrant was there raping and murdering American women. 1.00

00:08:04.640 And this is happening week after week after week. 0.99

00:08:08.560 There's hardly a week that goes by when somebody isn't raped, somebody isn't murdered, a child isn't molested by an illegal immigrant that Joe Biden and the Democrats have let in. 0.98

00:08:19.220 And, Ben, let me ask you something. 0.60

00:08:20.480 Listen, I serve with these Democrats. 0.99

00:08:23.260 I genuinely do not understand how they don't give a shit. 0.99

00:08:27.720 Like, this just, it pisses me off. 0.99

00:08:30.720 And they just blithely vote after vote after vote.

00:08:35.400 They will vote against securing the border.

00:08:37.260 And they don't care.

00:08:38.180 And you bring these cases up and they don't respond.

00:08:40.860 They don't engage.

00:08:41.900 Like, at some point, is there any part of you that, like, has a moment of conscience?

00:08:47.900 Like, how would you look in the eyes to this mother's children and know that you're responsible for letting go the monster that did this?

00:08:57.880 And you know what?

00:08:59.680 Someone else is going to be murdered next week.

00:09:01.640 And you're responsible for that as well.

00:09:03.740 At some point, how do these reporters that just provide cover and lie for the White House, how does Kareem John Bair, how does Joe Biden, how does Kamala Harris, how does Alejandro Mayorkas, how does Merrick Garland, how do these people live with themselves?

00:09:19.640 Listen, they have kids.

00:09:20.660 They have grandkids.

00:09:22.160 Yeah.

00:09:22.360 And this is the second time in two years that an innocent Hartford County woman lost her life to a criminal in our country illegally.

00:09:29.960 In both cases, the suspects were from El Salvador with direct ties to the criminal gang.

00:09:37.660 So remember when Donald Trump took hell and people said it was racist when he said that they're sending their worst over here?

00:09:43.380 A lot of them are the worst. 0.98

00:09:44.660 A lot of them are gang members. 1.00

00:09:46.360 A lot of them are rapists. 1.00

00:09:47.240 A lot of them murderers. 1.00

00:09:48.120 He's not wrong when he said it.

00:09:50.560 And it was described this way.

00:09:52.180 Quote, Victor Hernandez did not come to this country to make a better life for him or his family.

00:09:56.500 And this is what Democrats assume that everybody that comes across the border illegally is here for to better their life and for themselves or their family.

00:10:03.760 He came here to escape the crimes he committed in El Salvador.

00:10:08.040 He came here to murder Rachel.

00:10:10.400 I mean, this is the facts of the scenario.

00:10:13.840 We have a lot of people that leave the country that they're in because they've committed heinous crimes.

00:10:18.700 You mentioned him murdering someone there and they're fleeing that crime.

00:10:22.580 And they come to America because they know we have a wide open border and it's worked for 20 million others.

00:10:27.660 Yeah, here's what the sheriff said.

00:10:29.640 Once in our country and likely emboldened by his anonymity, he brutally attacked a nine-year-old girl and her mother during a home invasion in March of 2023 in Los Angeles.

00:10:41.720 And as everyone, I believe, is aware, this was our first DNA match linking Rachel's case to the one in Los Angeles.

00:10:49.620 And he turned his attention, he said, to the White House and to members of Congress.

00:10:56.360 And he said, quote, we are 1,800 miles from the southern border and American citizens are not safe because of their failed immigration policies.

00:11:08.880 This is the second time in two years that an innocent Harford County woman has lost her life to a criminal in our country illegally.

00:11:20.040 In both cases, they are suspects from El Salvador with ties to criminal gangs.

00:11:29.520 This should not be happening.

00:11:34.720 And yet it is.

00:11:35.380 And yet it is.

00:11:37.360 And it will again tomorrow.

00:11:40.860 That's also what's infuriating.

00:11:43.240 It is not only do you have these children that suddenly don't have their mother.

00:11:47.860 Tomorrow there will be somebody else.

00:11:49.960 And this will keep going and going and going.

00:11:53.380 And Joe Biden and the Democrats, they do not care because if they care, they would change their actions.

00:11:59.920 And they're unwilling to change their actions.

00:12:01.500 This is also a two part problem now, and I think we should connect these two dots.

00:12:07.120 It is this administration and the Democratic Party is clearly and you asked this question earlier for everyone listening.

00:12:13.720 I think it's a great point we go back to.

00:12:15.960 Do they not care how they look in the face of the next victim, how they look in the face of these?

00:12:20.480 Well, part of it is they don't.

00:12:21.360 They're not willing to talk to the victims.

00:12:23.480 Agree.

00:12:23.880 They don't and they don't.

00:12:25.020 But this is a deliberate decision by Joe Biden and the Democratic Party to fundamentally change this country and to bring in future voters and to offer amnesty.

00:12:36.040 We're going to talk about that in a second.

00:12:37.520 But they don't care now if it's ISIS-K coming across the border or Al Qaeda coming across the border or people like this individual that are killing mothers of five because they say it's worth it.

00:12:51.460 Basically, we're going to take the bad.

00:12:53.200 We're fine with that because we're getting to flood this country with millions of illegals. 1.00

00:12:57.140 They're deliberately doing it, knowing the carnage that they're creating.

00:13:01.260 Well, that is exactly right.

00:13:04.640 And it is fairly stunning that as this news is breaking, that we also get a Friday news dump.

00:13:13.480 So on Friday, the administration sent out multiple people to talk to reporters and tell them that that.

00:13:21.820 Well, this is how CBS put it.

00:13:25.160 The Biden administration is making plans to announce one of the largest immigration release programs in recent history.

00:13:30.500 Developing a policy that would offer legal status to hundreds of thousands of immigrants living in the country without proper documents. 0.99

00:13:39.040 Four people familiar with the plans told CBS News, a program being developed by White House officials would offer work permits and deportation protections to unauthorized immigrants married to U.S. citizens as long as they have lived in the U.S. for at least 10 years.

00:13:56.420 The sources said, requesting anonymity to talk about internal government government plans.

00:14:02.580 The proposal, known as parole in place, would also open up a pathway to permanent legal status and U.S. citizenship.

00:14:10.280 In other words, voting for some beneficiaries by removing an obstacle in U.S. law that prevents those who entered the U.S. illegally from obtaining green cards without leaving the country.

00:14:21.260 Literally, literally in response to more and more dead bodies killed by illegal immigrants, Joe Biden and the Democrats said, you know what we need to do?

00:14:30.560 Grant amnesty to over a million illegal immigrants.

00:14:34.860 There's a lot of Americans are going to say this certainly sounds a lot, Senator, like buying votes.

00:14:39.100 And I want to get into that in a moment.

00:14:40.740 But first, let me tell you about Patriot Mobile.

00:14:42.380 If you are with Big Mobile, you may not realize where your money is going every single month when you pay your bill.

00:14:49.300 You may not realize that you are supporting Democratic causes, candidates and organizations, including Planned Parenthood.

00:14:57.580 Well, that is why Patriot Mobile got started more than a decade ago.

00:15:01.420 They found out where their money was going when they paid their bills to Big Mobile.

00:15:05.900 And that's when they said, we've got to find an alternative.

00:15:09.080 And there wasn't one.

00:15:10.580 So they started it.

00:15:11.700 And I love it when men and women get together and start companies.

00:15:15.920 Patriot Mobile has been America's only Christian conservative wireless provider.

00:15:19.560 And when I say only, I mean it.

00:15:21.180 They are the only one.

00:15:22.620 They are an incredible company because they actually take about 5% of your bill every single month when you pay your bill.

00:15:29.500 And they give it back to conservative causes and organizations that support free speech, religious freedom, support the sanctity of life, the Second Amendment, as well as our military, our veterans, and our first responder heroes.

00:15:44.340 Now, switching used to be really hard.

00:15:46.600 And that's why people didn't do it very often.

00:15:49.160 Now, in 2024 with technology, it's easy.

00:15:52.080 And the other reason why people don't switch, they're like, I'm afraid I'm going to get bad coverage.

00:15:55.680 That problem doesn't exist anymore either.

00:15:57.500 You're going to be using the same exact towers you're on right now.

00:16:01.120 That means you're getting the same coverage you're used to, except you're not funding the extremist woke agenda of the left.

00:16:08.620 So if you want to switch, just call them.

00:16:11.540 You don't even have to go to a store.

00:16:13.260 You keep your same cell phone number.

00:16:14.920 You can keep your same cell phone you have now or upgrade to a new one.

00:16:18.020 And all you have to do is call them.

00:16:20.800 972-PATRIOT.

00:16:22.220 That's 972-PATRIOT.

00:16:24.100 You're going to get free activation when you use the offer code VERDICT.

00:16:27.800 And you can join me because I use Patriot Mobile and I travel all over the country.

00:16:33.300 And it works flawlessly.

00:16:35.380 Make a difference with your cell phone company every month when you pay that bill.

00:16:39.780 972-PATRIOT.

00:16:40.920 That's 972-PATRIOT.

00:16:42.280 Or PatriotMobile.com slash VERDICT.

00:16:44.800 Use the promo code VERDICT.

00:16:45.860 You'll get free activation.

00:16:47.300 Let's talk about this idea of basically enticing people with amnesty.

00:16:55.240 It's buying future voters.

00:16:56.840 If you give someone the American dream, obviously there's going to be a direct coalition between

00:17:01.600 that and the party that which they support.

00:17:03.700 I think Democrats are doing this and many see this as nothing more than buying a million

00:17:08.320 votes instantly in this country.

00:17:11.080 And I don't think anyone believes it's going to stop at a million.

00:17:14.240 And I think this is the first part of their big plan, which is amnesty for anyone that

00:17:18.720 got into this country. 0.79

00:17:19.720 Yeah, look, this is all about power.

00:17:22.400 We've had over 11 million illegal immigrants come into this country under Joe Biden.

00:17:26.860 The Democrats' plan is to make every one of them U.S. citizens because they believe most

00:17:33.080 of them will vote Democrat.

00:17:35.140 And listen, I asked in frustration a few minutes ago why the Democrats don't care, why they turn

00:17:40.880 the other way, why they ignore the people being raped and murdered and abused.

00:17:49.700 It's because they value power more than they do the responsibility to protect people from

00:17:55.560 violence and harm.

00:17:57.360 And so if you look at this proposal, the one I talked about is not the only amnesty proposal.

00:18:03.820 So there's another plan being prepared for the Biden administration that would streamline

00:18:08.120 the process for so-called dreamers to request waivers that would make it easier for them

00:18:13.360 to obtain temporary visas, such as H-1B visas for high-skilled workers.

00:18:19.280 Both of these measures could be announced as early as Tuesday, as early as tomorrow.

00:18:24.160 But they say the plan has not been finalized by the administration, although, of course,

00:18:28.120 they've got four people calling CBS News to tell them about it.

00:18:31.120 And the White House is preparing to host an event on Tuesday celebrating the 12th anniversary

00:18:37.560 of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, DACA, which shields roughly 530,000 illegal

00:18:45.240 immigrants who came to the United States as children.

00:18:48.260 And by the way, when Barack Obama announced DACA, he had said repeatedly, I think it was

00:18:53.280 something like 27, 28 times, that he did not have the authority to grant amnesty by executive

00:18:58.940 order.

00:18:59.240 He was getting pushed by the left.

00:19:01.000 He was president.

00:19:01.880 They were saying, do it by executive order, do it by executive order.

00:19:04.580 He said, I can't, I can't, I don't have the authority.

00:19:06.960 Nancy Pelosi said, the president doesn't have the authority.

00:19:10.800 Barack Obama said, this is a quote, I am not an emperor.

00:19:14.020 That's what he told the left.

00:19:15.460 And then apparently he decided, wait a second, I want to buy some votes.

00:19:18.420 I am an emperor.

00:19:19.560 And so he announced DACA, which is lawless.

00:19:21.800 It was lawless at the time, in which he said that illegal immigrants who came to the country

00:19:26.620 as children, that they, they, they would no longer effectively be subject to the immigration

00:19:31.120 laws.

00:19:31.740 The president doesn't have the authority to do that, but do you know what it did when

00:19:35.500 he announced DACA?

00:19:37.160 What?

00:19:38.020 The number of unaccompanied minors skyrocketed.

00:19:41.900 It had been on the order of 4,000, 5,000, 6,000 a year.

00:19:47.760 The instant Obama announced DACA, you know what it went up to?

00:19:52.880 What was it?

00:19:54.060 93,000.

00:19:55.400 Good grief.

00:19:56.620 When you create an incentive, when you tell people, if you come to this country as a child,

00:20:02.540 we'll let you stay.

00:20:03.880 You know what happens?

00:20:04.680 A whole lot of children get sent over.

00:20:07.200 And you know what happens when children get sent over?

00:20:09.280 They get handed over to human traffickers and those human traffickers violently and sexually 0.94

00:20:14.760 assault those kids. 0.94

00:20:16.240 They, they assault the little girls and they assault the little boys.

00:20:19.240 And I got to tell you, Ben, I've looked in the eyes of too many of these children who've

00:20:22.860 been brutalized.

00:20:23.740 And when the White House says, well, let's grant amnesty some more, let's grant amnesty

00:20:27.440 some more.

00:20:27.900 Every time they do it, more and more people come here illegally.

00:20:32.040 It's also, I think, frustrating.

00:20:35.300 I had a caller that called into my show and made the great point.

00:20:38.180 He said, so let me get this straight.

00:20:39.700 The longer you've been a criminal, we're rewarding you for that.

00:20:43.220 Like if you came into this country and you've been here for a long period of time breaking 0.99

00:20:46.900 our laws, we're going to say, okay, uh, we're just going to give you amnesty because you've

00:20:52.060 been here longer than somebody else.

00:20:53.660 And so therefore we reward you in what world does that, do we live in where that is the

00:20:58.520 new norm?

00:20:59.180 Yeah.

00:20:59.780 And listen, we're talking about a lot of people.

00:21:02.140 According to CBS News, they say the policy would benefit a subset of the estimated 1.1

00:21:07.820 million unauthorized immigrants with American citizen spouses, as long as they meet the

00:21:12.500 residency requirement and other rules.

00:21:15.340 And CBS goes on to say the move would further underscore increased willingness by President

00:21:21.200 Biden to take executive actions on immigration ahead of the presidential election in November.

00:21:25.880 Uh, just last week, Mr. Biden invoked his executive authority to enact a partial ban on

00:21:32.740 asylum claims at the Southern border, a move that's already been challenged in federal court

00:21:36.900 by the American Civil Liberties Union.

00:21:39.820 This is, it's not hiding what they want.

00:21:45.180 They want people here illegally to vote for Democrats.

00:21:49.560 And, and, and so it, it does make the, the, the stakes of the presidential election.

00:21:54.380 It makes the stakes of every election in November very clear.

00:21:58.340 If you want massive illegal immigration, if you want open borders, if you want violent

00:22:04.400 criminals coming here and raping and murdering Americans, and if you want them given amnesty, 0.96

00:22:08.900 well, there's a party that's offering that. 0.94

00:22:10.840 And that's Joe Biden, the Democrats.

00:22:13.240 Canadian women are looking for more, more out of themselves, their businesses, their elected 1.00

00:22:17.560 leaders, and the world around them.

00:22:19.340 And that's why we're thrilled to introduce the Honest Talk podcast.

00:22:22.640 First, I'm Jennifer Stewart.

00:22:24.260 And I'm Catherine Clark.

00:22:25.540 And in this podcast, we interview Canada's most inspiring women, entrepreneurs, artists,

00:22:30.580 athletes, politicians, and newsmakers, all at different stages of their journey.

00:22:34.960 So if you're looking to connect, then we hope you'll join us.

00:22:38.200 Listen to the Honest Talk podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever you listen to your podcasts.

00:22:42.260 This is a two-part plan, and this is very much connected.

00:22:47.460 Not only is he now advocating for amnesty, which is, in essence, buying votes, but there

00:22:52.340 was also new details that came out about how non-citizens are getting voter registration

00:22:59.380 forms from across the U.S.

00:23:02.200 Republicans are trying to stop this.

00:23:04.740 Democrats are saying no.

00:23:06.340 And just to break this down so people understand, United States welfare offices, as well as other

00:23:14.440 government agencies under the Biden administration in 49 different states in this country, are

00:23:22.560 now providing voter registration forms to illegal immigrants without requiring proof of citizenship.

00:23:31.680 And Democrats, this isn't a loophole, they're exploiting it.

00:23:37.160 Yeah, that's exactly right.

00:23:38.960 And I'll say the New York Post had an important article on this past weekend entitled,

00:23:47.500 How Non-Citizens Are Getting Voter Registration Forms Across the United States and How Republicans

00:23:52.520 Are Trying to Stop It.

00:23:54.180 And it describes how every state but Arizona, and Arizona recently passed a law barring the

00:24:00.580 practice on state but not federal forms, every other state gives applicants for either welfare

00:24:06.080 benefits, driver's licenses, or in some cases mail-in ballots, gives them voter registration

00:24:12.340 forms without demanding proof of citizenship.

00:24:16.100 And there's no requirement on federal forms to provide proof of U.S. citizenship, although

00:24:21.820 it is illegal to falsely claim one is a citizen or for a non-citizen to cast a ballot.

00:24:26.400 But of course, if you're not asking for proof of citizenship, I guess it's just sort of

00:24:31.240 wink-wink, trust me, and we just will take it on an honor system that you're not going

00:24:36.900 to do it.

00:24:37.600 It's also, if you think about this, if you know you're voting illegally, but you're voting

00:24:43.300 for the people that claim they're going to give you amnesty, and you already broke into

00:24:46.980 the United States of America, it's not a far-stretch center to think, of course they're going to

00:24:52.120 sign up to vote, because they're going to vote for the party that's about to hand them

00:24:55.240 amnesty.

00:24:56.640 Well, of course, and that's the entire point.

00:24:59.920 The reason the Democrats are allowing and actively facilitating this invasion is they

00:25:06.080 want voters, and they recognize that illegal immigrants are very likely to vote Democrat,

00:25:11.260 that if you're willing to break the law, if you're coming here illegally, that you're

00:25:15.680 going to go with the party that is inviting you to break the law and is coming, showering

00:25:20.780 you with benefits and looking the other way.

00:25:23.040 And look, a lot of the problem stems back from a law that was passed in 1993 called the

00:25:29.280 National Voter Registration Act, and it was signed into law by Bill Clinton.

00:25:33.220 It was also called the Motor Voter Law.

00:25:36.400 And what it did is it ordered states to register voters at the Department of Motor Vehicles and

00:25:42.760 also at agencies where Americans apply for public benefits.

00:25:47.940 And those offices, in turn, are required by federal law to hand the registration forms

00:25:53.020 along with the application papers over to the federal government.

00:25:58.160 And if an applicant simply attests, if they say, yep, I'm a U.S. citizen, that is considered

00:26:04.100 valid on its face, and that person is then registered to vote.

00:26:08.820 And so the challenge right now is that millions of illegal immigrants with humanitarian parole 0.98

00:26:17.420 or with refugee or asylum status are eligible right now for benefits that brings them to

00:26:24.300 the offices where voter registration is taking place.

00:26:26.880 So that's happening right now.

00:26:28.580 Millions of these illegal immigrants are going to the offices where the offices are handing

00:26:33.740 them voter registration forms.

00:26:35.300 And I want to pause for a second and reflect on how the Motor Voter Law passed.

00:26:42.160 Because it had, in 1992, it had passed Congress, and George Herbert Walker Bush had vetoed it.

00:26:50.240 But then in 1993, look, elections have consequences.

00:26:53.780 And when Bill Clinton got elected, it passed again.

00:26:57.340 But I'll tell you, in the Senate, the reason it passed in the Senate, so every Democrat voted yes.

00:27:03.660 So the Democrats get exactly what they're doing.

00:27:06.700 All of the Democrats voted yes.

00:27:08.120 Not a single Democrat voted no.

00:27:10.100 But here's the problem.

00:27:11.700 Six Republicans voted yes as well.

00:27:14.900 So the vote in the Senate was 62 to 36.

00:27:18.020 In other words, if the Republicans had voted no, they could have killed it.

00:27:22.140 But just going through this, and I'm just looking down the list of the Republicans,

00:27:27.460 Domenici from New Mexico voted yes.

00:27:30.280 Durenberger from Minnesota voted yes.

00:27:33.340 Hatfield from Oregon voted yes.

00:27:36.400 Packwood from Oregon voted yes.

00:27:39.900 Spector from Pennsylvania voted yes.

00:27:43.260 And Jeffords from Vermont voted yes.

00:27:45.820 Now, that's six Republicans.

00:27:47.140 If just three of them had voted no, this bill wouldn't pass.

00:27:51.380 And it's frustrating because the Democrats all get in line.

00:27:54.700 They get what they're doing.

00:27:56.200 They get that they are engaged in an effort to stay in power.

00:28:00.240 And it's not lost on them.

00:28:02.300 Look, when the bill passed, it's not an accident that they put voter registration in welfare offices.

00:28:08.840 Hey, if you want welfare, register to vote for the people giving you welfare. 1.00

00:28:12.660 And and but but why are Republicans idiots? 1.00

00:28:17.040 And they go along with that. 1.00

00:28:18.200 And and the bill doesn't require proof of citizenship.

00:28:21.220 Why is that? 1.00

00:28:22.800 Because Republican senators were idiots enough to vote for it. 1.00

00:28:25.720 Now, to be clear, none of those senators are still in the Senate. 1.00

00:28:29.000 This was a long time ago.

00:28:30.220 This was 1993.

00:28:32.260 Look, I was a year out of college.

00:28:33.880 I was a first year law student at the time.

00:28:36.280 So those senators are gone.

00:28:38.260 But it's a pattern that has happened over and over again.

00:28:41.120 And and it's frustrating.

00:28:44.280 Yeah.

00:28:44.440 And no one, I think, even back then could have imagined what level of illegal immigration

00:28:49.180 open borders that we're dealing where we're dealing with now.

00:28:52.500 And I want to talk about how many millions of these illegal immigrants may be getting handed

00:28:58.740 this information.

00:29:00.060 Before I do that, let me tell you about blackout coffee.

00:29:02.720 So many of you now send me messages on social media about trying blackout coffee like Ben,

00:29:08.380 you're right.

00:29:09.160 It really is the best cup of coffee I've ever had.

00:29:11.680 I'm not joking.

00:29:12.600 I drink blackout coffee every morning.

00:29:14.700 I'm on the radio at 7 a.m.

00:29:16.520 And I can tell you when I wake up in the morning, I need a great cup of coffee, not average,

00:29:21.620 not just mundane.

00:29:23.280 I want a premium cup of coffee.

00:29:25.280 I also don't want a woke cup of coffee.

00:29:27.400 And you probably thought of a couple of brands right when I said that, you know, the woke

00:29:31.080 coffee companies out there.

00:29:32.380 And that is why you should try blackout coffee.

00:29:35.280 Blackout coffee is 100 percent committed to conservative values.

00:29:39.360 In fact, the guys that started blackout coffee, that was their whole mission.

00:29:42.840 They were tired of giving their money until liberal coffee brands.

00:29:46.780 And they said, all right, we're just going to do it ourselves from the sourcing of the

00:29:49.880 beans, the roasting process, customer support and shipping.

00:29:53.880 Blackout coffee embodies true American values and accepts no compromise on quality or taste.

00:30:00.500 So if you want the best cup of coffee of your life, go to blackoutcoffee.com slash verdict.

00:30:06.180 And I'm going to save you 20 percent off your first order.

00:30:23.340 Blackoutcoffee.com slash verdict.

00:30:25.140 Use the promo code verdict for 20 percent off your first order.

00:30:29.160 So let's break this down, because I think this is an important point for people to end on.

00:30:35.160 It is a fact.

00:30:36.500 And Democrats are really good, Senator, at counting.

00:30:39.940 They know how many millions of illegal immigrants are in this country on humanitarian parole as refugees, asylum status.

00:30:50.320 They know how many of them can go in and get different forms of government aid.

00:30:58.540 And they understand that then once you're in the federal system, whether it's to get welfare benefits, a driver's license, there's a instant pathway to go, hey, here's your register to vote paperwork.

00:31:15.580 And these millions of migrants that are walking in and out of government offices are now open to that.

00:31:23.500 That's the reason why this is so dangerous.

00:31:25.400 This isn't just a one off for a couple of people or as Democrats, I describe it within an asterisk when you're counting votes.

00:31:32.140 This could be catastrophic to canceling out American voters with illegal immigrants who were literally saying, fill this out, turn it in, and you can vote, even though we know we're handing them to illegal immigrants. 0.98

00:31:46.000 Yeah, look, that's exactly right.

00:31:48.240 And the Democrats are the party of government.

00:31:50.460 They've always been the party of government, the party of big government, their party of high taxes.

00:31:54.560 They're the party of job killing regulations.

00:31:56.520 And they want they want to make people dependent on government.

00:32:01.320 They're the party of dependency.

00:32:03.680 They trap people.

00:32:04.660 They trap people tragically in generations of dependency.

00:32:08.740 And the price that they extract, it's a little bit like a drug dealer going and preying on kids in a junior high.

00:32:15.640 They're like, hey, just try this a little.

00:32:17.260 Just try it a little.

00:32:17.900 Just get a free sample.

00:32:18.840 Just try a little.

00:32:19.800 And the price, if they want to keep getting their fix of what the drug dealing Democrats are providing, their price is just make sure you vote for Democrats.

00:32:28.900 That's your ticket to admission.

00:32:32.500 Now, look, in the House, the House is taking up a bill called the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, the SAVE Act, which the House Administration Committee last month passed.

00:32:43.400 And this bill requires states to receive proof of citizenship whenever anyone registers to vote by mail or at a DMV office or at a welfare agency office.

00:32:56.800 And here's what what Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House, said following the approval of the bill.

00:33:02.540 He said, quote, as President Biden has welcomed millions of illegal immigrants through our borders, including sophisticated criminal syndicates and foreign adversaries, it is incumbent upon Congress to implement greater enforcement measures that secure the voter registration process and ensure only American citizens decide the outcome of American elections.

00:33:21.820 And yet, astonishingly, the Democrats are fighting this.

00:33:27.840 So, for example, there's a left leaning operation called the Campaign Legal Center that has said that that the SAVE Act is, quote, a shameful measure that will undermine trust in the electoral process.

00:33:40.360 And they dismiss concerns about non-citizen voting by saying it hasn't taken place at any meaningful level, quote, it is a fabrication being peddled for personal and political gain by leaders who should know better.

00:33:55.860 Shameful bills like the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act often result in eligible U.S. citizens being incorrectly prevented from voting or being forced to jump through additional hoops to exercise their freedom to vote.

00:34:09.460 And the campaign legal center opposes this bill.

00:34:12.640 But, and you know what?

00:34:14.420 The Democrats are very happy to salute and follow the line.

00:34:21.120 Right now, at least 19 states plus Washington, D.C., allow non-citizens to obtain driver's licenses.

00:34:28.180 So in nearly half the states, you don't have to be a citizen to get a driver's license.

00:34:32.340 And that is something that Biden supported during his presidential campaign.

00:34:36.880 By the way, Biden was one of the Democrats who voted for Motor Voter.

00:34:40.660 So he is just implementing the plan now from the executive side instead of the legislative side.

00:34:46.880 And tragically, this pattern of amnesty and voting answers the question that I asked at the beginning of this pod.

00:34:56.440 Why are Democrats willing to look the other way?

00:34:58.900 Why don't they care about the people being killed? 0.99

00:35:01.840 Why don't they care about the women being raped? 0.98

00:35:04.040 Why don't they care about the children being assaulted? 0.93

00:35:07.020 And it's because they've made a very cynical decision that staying in power is worth it.

00:35:12.500 And if innocent people have to die, I guess that's a price they're willing to pay.

00:35:17.180 Yeah, elections have consequences.

00:35:19.680 And this one coming up is going to be significant.
