00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.
00:00:02.540 Guaranteed human.
00:00:04.820 Coming up next, our final news roundup and information overload hour.
00:00:10.140 All right, news roundup and information overload hour.
00:00:12.500 Here's our toll-free telephone number.
00:00:13.900 It is 800-941-SHAWN if you want to be a part of the program.
00:00:19.000 In a minute, we'll get to Greg Jarrett and Brett Tolman.
00:00:22.300 Greg Jarrett has a piece out today who could be indicted by a grand jury
00:00:27.600 in the Russia collusion hoax, and he names names.
00:00:32.300 But first, let me play Tulsi Gabbard on Obama's involvement in all of this.
00:00:38.100 Go to odni.gov, G-O-V.
00:00:41.080 It's all right there for anyone to see.
00:00:43.700 And those who go in and read this will see how President Obama directed
00:00:48.660 that a National Security Council meeting be called to talk about Russia,
00:00:52.800 that the report that came out of that meeting was filled with tasks
00:00:57.820 that were delivered by James Clapper's assistant to John Brennan
00:01:02.820 and to other elements of the intelligence community.
00:01:05.180 John Brennan was the head of the CIA at the time,
00:01:07.720 all saying per the president's direction, per the president's order.
00:01:12.360 And very specifically, they were tasked to create an intelligence assessment
00:01:17.440 that detailed how Moscow tried to influence the election, not if, but how.
00:01:24.360 And this was the beginning of this manufactured intelligence assessment
00:01:28.860 where they knowingly wrote things in this assessment that were false
00:01:33.540 and they knew they were false.
00:01:35.000 They knew that they were basing it on discredited intelligence
00:01:38.640 or documents like the Steele dossier that was politically motivated
00:01:42.820 and that they knew was false.
00:01:44.280 And this was how they came up with the Russia Oaks
00:01:47.800 that was then weaponized and used to try to delegitimize the president,
00:01:51.560 President Trump, and to try to ultimately enact this years-long coup
00:01:55.980 throughout his entire four years of his first administration.
00:01:59.500 Let me give a little context to what Tulsi is saying
00:02:02.640 as part of the declassified information that she released.
00:02:06.700 The first part of this is there was an original intelligence assessment.
00:02:11.260 She's talking here about the intelligence assessment that was ordered
00:02:18.700 after they read the original one that was put together
00:02:22.560 by senior career intelligence officials released in early December 2016,
00:02:30.160 a post-mortem, if you will, on the 2016 election,
00:02:34.480 asking the question if there was any Trump-Russia collusion.
00:02:38.440 Their conclusion, it was finished.
00:02:44.300 There was no Trump-Russia conclusion.
00:02:46.300 That is what our top career intelligence officials determined.
00:02:51.460 And then as she rightly points out, it was Obama ordering people,
00:02:55.220 you know, not if Russia interfered, how Russia interfered.
00:03:00.060 And then they went about creating a new intelligence assessment report.
00:03:05.820 And it's the new intelligence assessment report that purposely used
00:03:11.620 what had already been completely debunked by that time,
00:03:15.080 and that was the dirty Russian disinformation Hillary Clinton bought and paid for dossier
00:03:20.600 and other information that they knew to be false to come up with an assessment.
00:03:26.740 Oh, that, yeah, Russia favored Donald Trump and that there was collusion when there never was.
00:03:32.980 They knew there never was.
00:03:34.240 They knew it was false intelligence.
00:03:35.580 So initially this plan was hatched in July of 2016 for the purposes of smearing and slandering Donald Trump
00:03:43.880 to deflect away from Hillary's own email server problem.
00:03:48.960 They knew it was manufactured, but also the declassified information gave us very pertinent information that,
00:03:55.820 yeah, this will give us a bump out of the convention,
00:03:57.800 but then there'll be accelerant when the FBI runs with this lie as well.
00:04:03.580 And remember, in August of 2016, Bruce Ohr warned against using the Steele dossier
00:04:09.940 because it was political in nature, but yet it became the basis for not one but four FISA applications,
00:04:17.760 which ruined Carter Page's life and then was a backdoor way to spy on the Trump campaign
00:04:23.220 and later his transition team and then later his presidency.
00:04:26.460 But the fact that all these top officials and going all the way up to Obama saying,
00:04:32.400 not if, but how Russia interfered after the initial assessment said otherwise, is breathtaking to me.
00:04:40.340 Greg Jarrett is with us, Fox News legal analyst, New York Times bestselling author.
00:04:44.300 He wrote two bestselling books on this very topic.
00:04:47.420 And Brett Tolman is with us, former federal prosecutor, sir, for U.S. attorney of Utah.
00:04:53.020 Greg, I loved your article today.
00:04:54.920 Who could be indicted by a grand jury in the Russia collusion hoax?
00:04:59.340 This is something you wrote about, what, seven years ago?
00:05:02.400 Yeah, seven years ago and then the sequel six years ago, Witch Hunt.
00:05:06.960 And I laid out how Brennan, Comey, and Clapper were untruthful in their congressional testimony.
00:05:16.180 And you've identified it.
00:05:18.720 You know, they insisted that the dossier was never a part of the intelligence assessment.
00:05:25.640 And they were incredibly devious about it, Sean.
00:05:29.800 They actually erased or expunged the section of the intelligence assessment in which they relied on the dossier.
00:05:39.980 They provided to Congress and the public a sanitized version of it.
00:05:44.880 They literally took it out and then testified, oh, you know, we didn't rely on it.
00:05:51.060 It's not in there.
00:05:52.160 Well, turns out the newly declassified documents show a clean original version in which it's in the body of the ICA.
00:06:01.880 Now, that strikes me as a lawyer, as a deliberate falsehood.
00:06:08.120 It's a lie.
00:06:09.440 And so if you're testifying under oath, that's perjury.
00:06:13.100 And if it's not under oath, it's nevertheless a false, fraudulent statement.
00:06:18.500 Both carry the same punishment up to five years in prison.
00:06:22.640 And if you conspire together to do that, it's a conspiracy which only doubles down on the penalties.
00:06:32.440 Brett Tolman, let's get your view on this matter.
00:06:36.060 Well, nobody's really talking about Barack Obama being charged, right?
00:06:42.080 We are assuming presidential, you know, executive immunity applies.
00:06:46.480 But I say, so what?
00:06:47.860 Let's put him in the grand jury.
00:06:49.980 If the conspiracy, you know, started while he was president, it certainly continued when he was no longer president.
00:06:57.320 I want to see him answer about communications that he had after.
00:07:01.840 What did he communicate with Comey?
00:07:03.820 What were the emails or the text messages?
00:07:07.000 Because this is Obama, who was the only president in our lifetime who stayed in Washington, D.C., when he was done serving as president.
00:07:15.380 Why did he do that?
00:07:16.360 Because he knew he had an opportunity to try to control the government.
00:07:20.220 A shadow government was what he was pushing for.
00:07:23.120 So I would love to see the use of the grand jury to robustly investigate all of the conspiracy, including President Obama and what he who he communicated with after he was president.
00:07:33.440 Greg, you let's go back to your column who could be indicted by this grand jury in the Russia collusion hoax.
00:07:40.120 Who?
00:07:41.160 Well, in addition to Brennan, Comey and Clapper, which we just discussed, there are other people who were involved at the CIA, the FBI, the Office of National Intelligence.
00:07:55.960 And, you know, some of these people were coerced into doing it.
00:08:01.800 They would probably, as witnesses, ask for immunity.
00:08:04.920 And their testimony would be valuable.
00:08:07.120 They might get conditional immunity.
00:08:08.940 But there are others.
00:08:10.560 And, for example, we've already seen some of their emails who warned Brennan in particular, you're using bogus information.
00:08:20.280 The dossier, don't do it.
00:08:21.780 There's no other credible evidence to justify this revised intelligence assessment.
00:08:28.420 Those people, and I think there are probably at least a handful, if not a dozen, will happily step forward before a grand jury and implicate not just Comey, but Brennan, rather, but Comey and Clapper as well.
00:08:43.740 But, you know, the list is a long one.
00:08:45.840 And I identify in my column today, you know, the Hillary Clinton campaign, not just Hillary herself, but those who were in on it.
00:08:54.620 I think a critical witness is Julianne Smith.
00:08:57.740 It was Smith, according to the Durham Annex, that proposed the entire fictitious collusion scheme that Hillary approved on July 26, 2016.
00:09:12.380 And, you know, Smith was questioned by Durham's investigators and said, well, I don't specifically remember, but it's possible I did that.
00:09:24.000 Well, being placed in legal jeopardy in front of a grand jury, she may have a sudden memory recollection.
00:09:33.100 And, you know, that would be a critical witness.
00:09:35.620 But I've also identified Jake Sullivan, the attorney Mark Elias, Robbie Mook, John Podesta.
00:09:43.860 These are all critical people who, to me, appear to have been involved in conjuring up the hoax and spreading the lie.
00:09:53.840 And their testimony, I think, would be important because they're also in legal jeopardy.
00:09:59.320 I wouldn't be surprised if they, too, would take the fifth.
00:10:02.340 All right, quick break, right back, more with Greg Jarrett, Brett Tolman on the other side.
00:10:07.220 And your call's coming up, final half hour, 800-941-SHAWN, if you want to be a part of the program as we continue.
00:10:13.620 Canadian women are looking for more, more out of themselves, their businesses, their elected leaders, and the world around them.
00:10:19.820 And that's why we're thrilled to introduce the Honest Talk podcast.
00:10:23.600 I'm Jennifer Stewart.
00:10:24.700 And I'm Catherine Clark.
00:10:25.720 And in this podcast, we interview Canada's most inspiring women, entrepreneurs, artists, athletes, politicians, and newsmakers, all at different stages of their journey.
00:10:35.500 So if you're looking to connect, then we hope you'll join us.
00:10:38.740 Listen to the Honest Talk podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever you listen to your podcasts.
00:10:44.400 All right, we continue now.
00:10:45.760 Who might be indicted by a grand jury over the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax?
00:10:50.360 We continue with Greg Jarrett and Brett Tolman.
00:10:52.740 Let's talk a little bit now about this issue of immunity, Brett, that you brought up, because conventional wisdom is that presidential immunity in the decision, the Supreme Court decision, as it related to President Trump, would apply to President Obama.
00:11:10.560 And there's one maybe slight bit of difference.
00:11:16.080 I know it's I know everyone thinks that that would apply, but is it really part of the duties of the president of the United States to subvert or sabotage intelligence or manufacture false intelligence for the purpose of hurting a successor?
00:11:35.780 Well, Sean, I think you hit on the point that this country needs to be talking about.
00:11:41.060 And, yes, you know, the Supreme Court did clarify that the government could not use in a prosecution the evidence of his communications while he was president.
00:11:52.140 But he's outside the bounds of what, you know, his executive power is.
00:11:58.200 You never have executive power to commit a conspiracy to interfere in an election.
00:12:03.360 So so because of that, I think the focus needs to be on was he part of the conspiracy still when he left as president?
00:12:13.060 That's the cleanest case.
00:12:14.280 You don't have to worry about litigating what he said and what he did when he was president.
00:12:19.060 But when he's no longer president, are there overt acts by him or communications in furtherance of the conspiracy?
00:12:25.720 It is highly unlikely that he just left as president of the United States and didn't continue to try to orchestrate what we know was an attack on President Trump while he was president to try to pull him down and and and delegitimize his presidency.
00:12:41.160 So if that's the case, conspiracy continues on well past when it's first committed.
00:12:46.920 And it involves individuals that may not necessarily know, like Greg points out properly, they may not know they're really part of this conspiracy.
00:12:55.920 But there are those that did.
00:12:57.640 And what were those are overt acts.
00:12:59.360 And President Obama was at the helm of this.
00:13:01.420 So he needs to be put in front of a grand jury.
00:13:03.620 Let him take the fifth while he's in the grand jury and let the American people see that he he has a lot to hide after he was president of the United States.
00:13:13.140 What's your take on that, Greg Jarrett, his post-presidency actions?
00:13:17.720 Well, if he's claiming that he has broad immunity for official acts, not unofficial, but official acts, he's he's no longer in jeopardy before grand jury.
00:13:29.800 Right. Because he he he's got immunity.
00:13:32.960 He claims immunity.
00:13:34.540 You know, he has to tell the truth because he's he's no longer in jeopardy.
00:13:40.420 He was knee deep in all of this.
00:13:43.360 The new records show that he pressured Comey to clear Hillary Clinton of her obvious email crimes.
00:13:52.160 I think that's well accepted.
00:13:53.840 He didn't want this to, you know, put a stain on his presidency.
00:13:57.780 That's right. And then he actively joined the plot to push the phony collusion narrative that Hillary had instigated.
00:14:08.340 And he was a principal player engineering that counterfeit case against Trump by altering or massaging the intelligence.
00:14:18.080 So, you know, I agree with Brett's analysis.
00:14:23.740 I think he should be called. Hillary Clinton absolutely must be called.
00:14:28.480 And, you know, if she's not telling the truth in front of the grand jury and the documents and testimony of others undermine her and demonstrate that she's lying, there could be a new charge against her lying to a grand jury.
00:14:47.300 So, you know, all of these people, it strikes me, are in a world of hurt.
00:14:51.480 And, by the way, you know, I would bet they're all going to plead the fifth, but I have to run real quick.
00:14:56.680 I know they think that this is going to happen in Washington, D.C.
00:15:00.500 I disagree. I think it's going to happen in Florida based on an overarching criminal conspiracy that extends to the Mar-a-Lago raid.
00:15:09.300 So I think the grand jury will be or already is in the state of Florida.
00:15:14.000 It would be fascinating. Wouldn't it be great if I got called?
00:15:17.900 I'd be very fair and balanced.
00:15:20.480 I believe in our Constitution. I believe in the rule of law.
00:15:23.620 That's the problem.
00:15:24.840 You don't want people like me on a grand jury or on a jury altogether.
00:15:29.020 Anyway, Brett, thank you.
00:15:30.480 Greg Jarrett, as always, thank you.
00:15:33.140 Thank you.
00:15:33.440 I know we see a ceasefire in Israel, but if you ask the people of Israel if they're feeling peace, you're going to get a very different story.
00:15:41.320 You have bombed out homes, complete neighborhoods, families torn apart, kids, they can't play outside.
00:15:48.160 The violence may have slowed.
00:15:50.260 The fear has not.
00:15:51.940 You have tens and tens of thousands of Israelis that have been displaced.
00:15:56.660 They have no homes to go back to.
00:15:58.440 And the IFCJ, they are on the ground.
00:16:01.600 They're providing all the humanitarian assistance possible, food, water, medicines, clothing, shelter, you name it.
00:16:09.100 They're also building bomb shelters in anticipation of the likely next attack.
00:16:14.880 And whatever you can do to help in this mission to help Israel in their time and need as they've been fighting for their very survival is beyond appreciative,
00:16:24.740 especially at a time where we see rising virulent hatred, anti-Semitism.
00:16:30.360 You know, the people that would blame Israel for this is remarkable to me.
00:16:33.720 You know, the people that would look at this guy digging his own grave inside one of these terror tunnels is unbelievable to me.
00:16:42.140 Any suffering that is happening in Gaza is a direct result of the terrorist organization Hamas that wasted money on a network of terror tunnels
00:16:54.480 and rockets that they've been firing into Israel, killing Israelis, and fomenting terror throughout the entire region.
00:17:03.320 Anyway, please help the IFCJ.
00:17:05.440 The need is great.
00:17:06.640 Just go to ifcj.org.
00:17:08.560 That's ifcj.org today.
00:17:11.080 All right, 25 now to the top of the hour.
00:17:13.540 We're going to go to the Oval Office.
00:17:15.700 While we were doing our debate with Greg Jarrett moments ago and Brett Tolman, the president, as we had anticipated,
00:17:23.960 we thought this was going to take place at 430, meeting with Apple.
00:17:29.180 And, I mean, it's actually pretty amazing what they're offering Tim Cook.
00:17:33.620 And talking about $600 billion in investment in manufacturing here in America.
00:17:39.000 Let's go to the Oval Office, Howard Lutnick and the Treasury Secretary, Besson, are also in the room.
00:17:46.700 Let's listen in.
00:17:47.960 Behind, but we're not going to forget what happened.
00:17:50.540 I'm going to take very good care of this person that did this horrible person.
00:17:56.740 This afternoon, we're pleased to welcome to the White House one of the great and most esteemed business leaders
00:18:03.160 and geniuses and innovators anywhere in the world, Apple CEO Tim Cook.
00:18:08.220 It's an amazing job.
00:18:10.300 Thanks as well to Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Besson, and Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick, for being here, wherever you may be.
00:18:19.520 Well, there you are.
00:18:20.520 Hello, fellas.
00:18:21.400 I missed you.
00:18:22.740 Today, Apple is announcing that it will invest $600 billion, that's with a B, in the United States over the next four years.
00:18:31.980 That's $100 billion more than they were originally going to invest.
00:18:38.220 And this is the largest investment Apple has ever made in America and anywhere else.
00:18:43.980 And it's just an honor to have you.
00:18:45.900 As you know, Apple's been an investor in other countries a little bit.
00:18:48.760 I won't say which ones, but a couple.
00:18:51.520 And they're coming home.
00:18:55.300 $600 billion.
00:18:56.800 It's the biggest there is.
00:18:59.360 The company is also unveiling its ambitious new American manufacturing program,
00:19:03.580 which will bring factories and assembly lines across our country, all roaring to life.
00:19:08.720 Areas that we're not doing so well are doing very well.
00:19:11.360 We have about $17 trillion coming into the United States, which is more than ever before.
00:19:17.860 It's never even come close.
00:19:20.120 There's never been anything like it.
00:19:21.780 Even you, that's even a lot of money for you.
00:19:24.180 But we have commitments of more than $17 trillion.
00:19:29.000 That was as of a couple of weeks ago.
00:19:31.280 These investments will directly create more than 20,000 brand-new American jobs
00:19:36.600 and many thousands more at the Apple suppliers like Corning, Broadcom, Texas Instruments,
00:19:43.060 and Samsung who all deal in that world.
00:19:47.380 As part of this historic commitment, Apple will massively increase spending on its domestic
00:19:51.780 supply chain for the iPhone and will build the largest and most sophisticated smart glass
00:19:57.220 production line in the world in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, which is a great, actually, I did very
00:20:05.100 well there.
00:20:05.580 I like it because I see I did very well there.
00:20:08.120 I did very well in Kentucky, but it's a great place.
00:20:10.740 You're going to be very happy.
00:20:11.940 I thought maybe while we're up, I'll interrupt my own speech by you might show them a little
00:20:18.020 bit about the product that you're going to be doing in Kentucky, Tim.
00:20:20.880 Absolutely.
00:20:21.340 Do you mind if I step up here?
00:20:22.080 Yes, please.
00:20:22.620 This box was made here in the U.S., California, and this glass comes off the warning line.
00:20:33.820 It's engraved for President Trump.
00:20:36.060 It's a unique unit of one.
00:20:39.060 It was designed by a U.S. Marine Corps corporal, a former one, that works at Apple now.
00:20:45.720 He's done well.
00:20:46.700 Designed it for you, and the base comes from Utah and is 24-karat gold, and it sits.
00:20:59.200 I'll take the liberty of setting it up.
00:21:01.480 Wow.
00:21:07.620 Well, there we go.
00:21:13.660 Congratulations, Mr. President.
00:21:15.140 Thank you so much.
00:21:17.320 The great people of Kentucky.
00:21:19.980 You're going to find it a great place for your business, too.
00:21:22.780 It's fantastic.
00:21:24.340 Isn't that nice?
00:21:24.980 We're doing these things now in the United States instead of other countries, faraway countries.
00:21:31.460 This is a significant step toward the ultimate goal of ensuring that iPhones sold in the United
00:21:37.000 States of America also are made in America with the mass infusion of capital.
00:21:41.780 It's announcing today Apple will also build a 250,000-square-foot server manufacturing facility
00:21:48.920 in Houston and invest billions of dollars to construct data centers across the country
00:21:54.000 from North Carolina to Iowa to Oregon.
00:21:58.460 That's big stuff.
00:21:59.660 Apple will also open state-of-the-art manufacturing economy.
00:22:03.680 It's going to be a manufacturing academy in Detroit, and that's a great place to do.
00:22:10.020 Big things are happening in Michigan and Detroit.
00:22:13.860 They're coming in because of what we've done with the, I call it the great, big, beautiful
00:22:18.580 bill.
00:22:18.860 I added one word, great, but we have probably the biggest, most comprehensive piece of legislation
00:22:28.100 ever passed.
00:22:28.960 It's going to mean unbelievable numbers of jobs and no jobs on, think of this, whether it's
00:22:36.560 tips or overtime or Social Security, no tax.
00:22:39.920 So no tax on tips, no tax on Social Security, no tax on overtime, and it's just a small bit
00:22:47.520 of it.
00:22:48.720 For Apple and others' businesses, we're talking about the deductions and all of the things,
00:22:53.520 and actually for people, they go out and buy a car, first time it's ever been done.
00:22:57.520 We talk about deductions for companies, but they're going to be able to deduct interest when
00:23:02.680 they borrow money to buy a car, if it's made in America, has to be made in America.
00:23:08.500 So it is amazing, and one of the reasons I think I can say that Apple's coming here is
00:23:13.200 the legislation we just passed with this kind of investment.
00:23:18.260 Apple will also open other facilities, rare earth magnets from Texas and build, oh, I love
00:23:26.180 that you're doing this.
00:23:27.220 I love that.
00:23:28.100 I love that.
00:23:28.840 And build a brand new rare earth recycling line in Mountain Pass, California.
00:23:34.680 I know that area.
00:23:35.560 That's where they have a lot of truly rare earth.
00:23:38.860 That's fantastic.
00:23:39.960 I love that.
00:23:41.140 And Apple will help develop and manufacture semiconductors and semiconductor equipment in
00:23:45.780 Texas, Utah, Arizona, and New York.
00:23:49.340 For years, Americans have watched as many of our leading tech giants built their factories
00:23:54.000 overseas and exported American jobs abroad.
00:23:57.020 But under the Trump administration, we're doing everything possible to make this the
00:24:01.700 best place on earth to build a factory or grow businesses.
00:24:05.340 I'm allowing them to build electric producing plants with their factory, because otherwise
00:24:11.260 they'd have to hook into the grid.
00:24:12.700 And I think it's one of the biggest things we've done where you can build, Tim, your own
00:24:18.620 electricity.
00:24:19.400 You become your own electric manufacturer, and that goes along with the plant.
00:24:25.680 So you become a utility.
00:24:27.180 So congratulations.
00:24:28.460 Now you're in the utility.
00:24:29.580 I hope they don't value your company based on utility, but that's okay.
00:24:34.360 You're going to be making your own electricity.
00:24:37.780 And as you probably know, for much of this and much of many of the things that we're doing,
00:24:42.060 especially the AI, they would need actually double the electricity that the country now
00:24:48.740 produces for everything.
00:24:50.340 So it's massive electric, and they're going to be able to make their own, and they're
00:24:53.840 getting very fast approvals.
00:24:55.160 Lee Zeldin is doing a fantastic job, including with a 100% expensing on the one big, beautiful
00:25:03.780 bill.
00:25:04.280 In return, we're asking our businesses to invest in America, and they're coming in at
00:25:09.000 levels that we've never seen before.
00:25:10.500 So I don't know when it shows up, but there are a lot of factories and a lot of plants that
00:25:15.760 are either under construction or soon will be starting construction.
00:25:19.080 So I can't tell you exactly when, but I want to be around in about a year from now and two
00:25:26.400 years from now, because we're going to see an explosion, I think, like this country has
00:25:30.660 never seen before, never.
00:25:33.240 Today's announcement is one of the largest commitments in what has become among the
00:25:37.880 greatest investment booms in our nation's history, and we've got the hottest country
00:25:42.380 anywhere in the world.
00:25:43.340 And I told you the story that, and Tim, I'll tell you, but I went to the Middle East.
00:25:49.080 And I was with Qatar, I was with UAE, and the King of Saudi Arabia, all great leaders.
00:25:56.520 And then I went to NATO and saw many great leaders, and we just finished that about four
00:26:01.680 weeks ago.
00:26:02.200 Everyone, virtually everyone said, in effect, that we were a dead country one year ago.
00:26:09.680 America, this was a dead country.
00:26:11.620 We were dying, we were dead.
00:26:13.540 And now you've got the hottest country anywhere in the world.
00:26:16.500 This would have never happened, except for certain people.
00:26:21.020 Thank you very much.
00:26:21.860 I appreciate it.
00:26:23.520 NVIDIA is investing $500 billion.
00:26:27.660 To go along with Apple, $600 billion.
00:26:30.220 $600 billion.
00:26:31.740 Micron, great company, is investing $200 billion.
00:26:35.000 IBM is investing more than $150 billion.
00:26:38.760 SoftBank is investing substantially more than $100 billion.
00:26:43.280 TSMC is investing $200 billion.
00:26:46.880 Johnson & Johnson, $55 billion.
00:26:49.060 Merck, Stellantis, and General Motors are putting many, many billions in.
00:26:53.780 They haven't determined the final number.
00:26:55.940 And many other countries are investing tens of billions of dollars.
00:26:59.000 And I'm not going to give you the whole list, because the list is too long to read.
00:27:03.360 But it's hundreds of billions and even trillions.
00:27:07.560 I mean, it's trillions of dollars that's being invested right now.
00:27:10.920 Last week, it was announced that our economy grew at 3% in the second quarter.
00:27:15.520 And consumer confidence is surging.
00:27:17.960 Blue-collar wages are rising rapidly.
00:27:20.740 Costs are way down.
00:27:21.780 You know, I listen to these horrendous frauds on CNN and various other fake news networks.
00:27:29.840 And they say, costs are up.
00:27:31.980 No, no, costs are down.
00:27:34.860 Gasoline is down.
00:27:36.520 It's going to soon, I believe, be less than $2 a gallon.
00:27:39.620 It's around $2.40 right now, many places other than California, where they tax you out of business.
00:27:46.160 But, and a couple of others.
00:27:48.000 But gasoline is way down.
00:27:50.680 The price of groceries are down.
00:27:52.800 How about eggs?
00:27:54.100 When I first came here, my first week, the press hit me very hard on eggs.
00:27:59.880 Eggs had quadrupled or something.
00:28:02.120 I said, I didn't know about it.
00:28:04.080 Give me a chance.
00:28:04.900 I've just been here for four days.
00:28:06.880 Well, eggs are down.
00:28:07.860 Everything's down.
00:28:09.000 Price is down.
00:28:10.100 The only thing that's up is stock prices.
00:28:12.100 That's really up.
00:28:13.740 And that's through the roof.
00:28:15.020 The stock market has been hitting all-time records, all-time highs.
00:28:19.280 Last week, it was announced that our economy grew at levels that we haven't seen in a long time.
00:28:26.340 But the real levels of growth are going to be judged in a year from now,
00:28:29.960 when you start seeing some of these incredible plans.
00:28:32.600 Because we have car plans opening.
00:28:34.360 They're coming in from Canada, from Mexico, and from all over the world.
00:28:38.580 And they're coming in because they like the way the election worked out.
00:28:41.680 But they also like the fact that they don't want to pay tariffs.
00:28:44.080 And the tariffs, I think, will be taking in hundreds of billions of dollars in tariffs.
00:28:50.840 I won't be so specific other than to say, because we don't even know what the final number is.
00:28:55.080 We just made a deal, as you know, with the EU, where they're paying hundreds of billions of dollars.
00:29:01.020 Japan paying hundreds of billions of dollars.
00:29:03.580 And numerous other countries paying hundreds of billions of dollars.
00:29:07.540 And we're not even completed there.
00:29:10.500 And as you know, they found $25 billion three weeks ago.
00:29:14.380 They said, we have a surplus of $25 billion.
00:29:17.880 And they said, where did this come from?
00:29:19.660 They said, check the tariffs.
00:29:20.700 And they checked.
00:29:21.280 They said, you're right.
00:29:22.000 That's where it came from.
00:29:22.840 And we've really just started.
00:29:25.080 This is just in its infancy.
00:29:27.580 So we have a great country.
00:29:29.560 We have a country that is going to be very rich.
00:29:32.940 It's a country that we're very proud of.
00:29:35.900 But it's going to be very rich.
00:29:37.780 And it's companies like Apple.
00:29:39.620 They they're coming home.
00:29:41.360 They're all coming home.
00:29:43.100 And we want them to come home.
00:29:44.760 They have to come home.
00:29:46.060 We're going to treat them really well.
00:29:47.800 We're going to be putting a very large tariff on chips and semiconductors.
00:29:53.800 But the good news for companies like Apple is if you're building in the United States or have committed to build without question, committed to build in the United States, there will be no charge.
00:30:07.120 In other words, we're not going to be charging.
00:30:09.440 So a lot of countries, a lot of companies are leaving various other places and they're coming to the United States.
00:30:15.720 So, in other words, we'll be putting a tariff on of approximately 100 percent on chips and semiconductors.
00:30:23.300 But if you're building in the United States of America, there's no charge, even though you're building and you're not producing yet in terms of the big numbers of jobs and all of the things that you're building.
00:30:36.820 If you're building, there will be no charge.
00:30:38.880 So I just want everyone to know that.
00:30:40.360 And I didn't even tell you that inside.
00:30:42.700 We discussed the concept, but I didn't.
00:30:45.640 So it's a big factor.
00:30:47.260 So 100 percent tariff on all chips and semiconductors coming into the United States.
00:30:53.580 But if you've made a commitment to build or if you're in the process of building, as many are, there is no tariff.
00:31:00.420 OK, if the stations along the Sean Hannity show radio network, we're going to stay with our coverage.
00:31:05.940 President Trump with CEO of Apple, Tim Cook and his big announcement, six hundred billion dollars in investment and manufacturing in the U.S.
00:31:16.440 As the president expands out the discussion, he claims 17 trillion in total uncommitments as we continue our coverage along the network.
00:31:25.280 Say you're building and you don't build, then we go back and get we ended up.
00:31:30.460 It accumulates and we charge you at a later date.
00:31:34.780 You have to pay.
00:31:35.760 And that's a guarantee.
00:31:37.180 So that's a big statement.
00:31:39.380 And I think the chip companies are all coming back home.
00:31:42.900 They're all coming back.
00:31:44.400 You know, we started with Intel and gradually Intel was just taken over the over the calls.
00:31:51.320 They were taken to the cleaners, frankly, and moved to other places, in particular, Taiwan.
00:31:57.740 But I think a lot of those a lot of those companies are coming back and they're coming back very rapidly.
00:32:03.000 So that's a big statement.
00:32:04.180 One hundred percent tariff.
00:32:05.960 I want to thank you very much.
00:32:07.460 Tim, would you like to say a few words about your company, please?
00:32:13.960 Good afternoon, everyone.
00:32:15.740 Mr. President, thank you very much for having me here today.
00:32:19.080 You've been a great advocate for American innovation and manufacturing.
00:32:23.960 I'm grateful for your leadership and your commitment.
00:32:27.400 That's a commitment we share at Apple because American innovation is central to everything we do.
00:32:33.760 Our products are designed here.
00:32:35.800 We're hiring and growing here.
00:32:37.640 And we support 450,000 jobs with thousands of suppliers and partners in all 50 states.
00:32:44.660 Earlier this year, we made our largest ever spending commitment, $500 billion to the U.S. over the next four years.
00:32:54.540 That's already yielding results.
00:32:57.000 Earlier this year, we broke ground on a new factory in Houston to make advanced AI servers.
00:33:01.600 And just last month, the very first test unit rolled off that factory's lawn, proudly made in America.
00:33:10.020 President Trump shared some kind words about that work.
00:33:13.800 But he also asked us to think about what more we could commit to doing.
00:33:18.660 And, Mr. President, we took that challenge very seriously.
00:33:21.920 I'm glad to be here with you today, and I'm very proud to say that today we're committing an additional $100 billion to the United States,
00:33:31.700 bringing our total U.S. investment to $600 billion over the next four years.
00:33:37.080 As a part of this, we're launching Apple's American manufacturing program.
00:33:41.880 It will spur even more production right here in America for critical components used in Apple products all around the world.
00:33:51.560 And we're thrilled to announce that we've already signed new agreements with 10 companies across America to do just that.
00:33:59.960 First, with today's announcements, I'm proud to say that Apple is leading the creation of an end-to-end silicon supply chain right here in America,
00:34:10.200 from design to equipment to wafer production to fabrication to packaging.
00:34:16.800 In Texas, we're working with manufacturers like Texas Instruments, Global Wafers America, and Applied Materials.
00:34:24.400 We're working with Amcor in Arizona and Broadcom and Global Foundries in New York.
00:34:30.080 Thanks to President Trump's vision and with his help in his first term,
00:34:34.680 we also led the way to bring TSMC to Arizona by committing to be their first and largest customer.
00:34:43.220 Today, they're producing tens of millions of chips for Apple using one of the most advanced process technologies in America today.
00:34:52.820 We're going to keep working with our suppliers to move even more of this incredibly advanced work to America.
00:34:59.140 And this year alone, American manufacturers are on track to make 19 billion chips for Apple in 24 factories across 12 different states.
00:35:12.340 Second, we're committed to buying American-made advanced rare-earth magnets developed by MP Materials,
00:35:20.220 which will become part of Apple's devices shipped around the world.
00:35:24.300 MP is the only fully integrated rare-earth producer in the United States.
00:35:30.440 And with this partnership, they'll be significantly expanding their flagship facility in Fort Worth, Texas.
00:35:36.880 We're also thrilled to work together on a cutting-edge rare-earth recycling line in Mountain Pass, California.
00:35:44.420 And third, in Kentucky, we've worked with our partners at Corning to build the world's largest and most advanced smartphone glass production line.
00:35:54.980 And I'm pleased to announce that very soon, this is for the first time ever,
00:36:00.360 every single new iPhone and every single new Apple Watch sold anywhere in the world will contain cover glass made in Kentucky.
00:36:10.240 In addition to the American manufacturing program, we're also significantly growing our investments in AI,
00:36:18.020 including expanding data center capacity in North Carolina, in Nevada, in Iowa, in Arizona, in Oregon.
00:36:25.960 So we're going to keep making investments right here in America.
00:36:29.700 We're going to keep hiring in America.
00:36:31.680 And we're going to keep building technologies at the heart of our products right here in America.
00:36:38.320 Because we're a proud American company.
00:36:41.180 And we believe deeply in the promise of this great nation.
00:36:44.760 Thank you all.
00:36:45.880 And thank you, President Trump, for pulling or for putting American innovation and American jobs front and center.
00:36:52.600 Thank you, sir.
00:36:53.640 Great honor.
00:36:54.200 Thank you.
00:36:54.740 Thank you very much.
00:36:55.020 Thank you.
00:36:55.520 Appreciate it.
00:36:56.900 What a job he's done.
00:36:58.820 What a job.
00:36:59.660 Incredible.
00:36:59.960 I want to thank you very much.
00:37:02.300 And thank you, J.D., for helping along.
00:37:05.240 Good job.
00:37:06.000 Really good job.
00:37:07.480 Any questions, please?
00:37:08.780 Mr. President, Mr. President, you promised on the campaign trail to bring forth a manufacturing renaissance.
00:37:14.320 You just mentioned $17 trillion in your first seven months or so.
00:37:18.920 Can you talk about how an investment like this, all the other ones that you laid out,
00:37:22.480 will positively impact the millions of Americans that trusted you with their vote?
00:37:26.980 Thank you very much.
00:37:27.780 It changes our country.
00:37:29.960 I mean, our country is a very different country than it was six months ago.
00:37:35.820 And people like Tim are coming.
00:37:38.580 We had Micron in yesterday.
00:37:40.220 We had all of the big, great companies that you read about.
00:37:43.980 You don't know about, but you read about.
00:37:45.900 Many of them were making products outside of our country.
00:37:49.520 Foolishly, we lost them.
00:37:50.560 If we had the right person sitting in that seat, that would have never happened 20 and 30 years ago.
00:37:54.640 When you look at the chip business, it would have never left our shores.
00:37:59.060 We had 100% of chips originally, and then we slowly got taken down to nothing.
00:38:04.160 We have the biggest chip companies, the both of them, but we have the biggest in the world coming in.
00:38:11.220 They're going to Arizona and beyond.
00:38:14.260 And we're going to have, in a short period of time, we'll be up to almost 50% of the chips from starting in nothing.
00:38:21.220 And that's something.
00:38:22.520 But we have the greatest companies in the world coming into our country.
00:38:25.520 And that means jobs, and it means wealth.
00:38:27.960 And wealth means security for our people.
00:38:30.020 Okay?
00:38:30.280 Yes, Mr. President.
00:38:31.420 Yes, sir.
00:38:32.260 Congratulations on this investment, President Trump.
00:38:35.560 Thank you.
00:38:35.900 What a great example of putting America first.
00:38:39.900 What does the labor force look like to fill these jobs that you have?
00:38:43.320 Do we have enough skilled American workers to fill this?
00:38:46.420 Well, we do have a lot of workers, and we have a lot of workers that hadn't been looking for work because they were disincentivized, frankly.
00:38:54.460 And people like Tim have tremendous schools and training centers that they build along with a lot of their big plants where they train people on whether it's glass, like in Kentucky, or computers, or whatever they might be doing.
00:39:09.260 It's a complex world, and they train people, and they do a great job.
00:39:12.200 So it's a whole new workforce.
00:39:15.200 Now, we have a lot of them.
00:39:20.260 This is an iHeart Podcast.
00:39:23.140 Guaranteed Human.
