00:25:45.800 It was the most significant thing that's come out of this administration in terms of support of veterans by far and active duty guys,

00:25:55.260 Because, you know, as we're ramping up in Iran, the probability of guys going over and continuing deployment cycles is getting higher and higher by the day for sure.

00:26:07.580 And what we've seen and the reason why it was so critical for me in this memorandum that Pete put out last week was it was the first time that we saw a person at this level use the term operator syndrome.

00:26:19.760 So within that, it is this unique constellation of 17 different medical and behavioral health challenges that soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines and coasties that for who have long term exposure to high risk training and deployments that the effects of that take over and create this operator syndrome.

00:26:37.840 Well, one of the main ones is that is endocrine dysfunction.

00:26:41.480 And what happens is as you're, you know, you get in this hypervigilant state for years and years and years, it has a profound and negative impact on your endocrine system, thereby metabolic dysfunction, which then depletes testosterone production.

00:26:57.100 And so when you have low testosterone as an operator, it can affect mood, sleep, all these things.

00:27:03.060 So to see this memorandum for me in particular, because I've been fighting this battle with a couple of the gentlemen, Dr. Chris Free, Dr. Alok Madan, who wrote the original paper that was published in February 2020.

00:28:47.980 nature of of warfare and um so you're gonna have to increase your footprint and all of our bases

00:28:53.960 in Iraq and the other bases. You're going to have to launch more strategic strikes. You're

00:28:59.780 going to have to put them on on call to be able to take whatever barrage of drone strikes or 0.88

00:29:05.100 missile systems from from Iran. But I think the next, you know, reality that we have to face is 0.99

00:29:12.960 is, you know, somehow putting troops on the ground in Iran. That seems like what's going to be the 0.88

00:30:10.080 exist in iran you know maybe deploy you know a 75th ranger battalion take over some strategic

00:30:18.440 base that's remote in iran that has a complex system and try and assault that and hold that

00:30:23.720 and see what happens there but it like it's provoking it's it's kind of seeing what their

00:30:28.900 their reactionary responses are we've seen what they can do on our our friends in our gulf state

00:30:35.680 region and on our basis so we've got it we've been probing enough to know what their reaction

00:30:57.620 term, that's, what's going to lead to the greater problems globally, economically,

00:31:05.960 Some people are saying 15000 Marines. Some people are saying, I don't know, you know, five thousand special forces.

00:31:13.500 I don't know. I think it really depends on exploring a greater, more vast array of what Iranian vulnerabilities are initially.

00:38:12.460 And we have about a quarter of a million voter registration advantage over Democrats here in the state of Iowa.

00:38:24.240 I know there's a lot of attention on Rob Sand, but the Senate candidate, Josh Turek,

00:38:36.000 and not just our state, but I've seen anywhere around the country in the Trump years, really.

00:38:41.800 I mean, the stuff he's hitting Trump on is kind of traditional class warfare liberal stuff

00:41:03.880 I raised a son whose dream in life until about 30 days ago was to be the next Christopher Nolan

00:41:13.360 Anybody who's telling you that the Ellen Page character is a minor footnote cameo

00:41:47.080 And then, you know, at the end, when Odysseus disguises himself to make sure his wife and son of him betrayed him,

00:41:54.340 takes the name of Ellen Page's character and is out to kind of avenge her legacy the entire film.

00:42:01.560 I mean, again, her character is the moral, she's in the very first scene,

00:42:05.560 She's in the undercurrent of the entire film.

00:42:08.340 And it's a character, by the way, that's not even in the Odyssey.

00:42:10.780 My own theory is that originally Ellen was cast as Achilles,

00:42:14.920 and then with the entire blowback several months ago,

00:42:18.880 they changed it to this other character.

00:42:20.360 That's my own pet theory. 0.99

00:42:22.260 And then there's this weird feminist lament that Anne Hathaway's character has

00:42:27.860 about how the men won't allow her to become queen.

00:44:57.960 Are you with Buck and me that there is a huge lane available for somebody who would just make great movies like we watched in the 80s and 90s that are designed to appeal to everyone and aren't trying in any way to make a direct propagandist political statement as a part of the movie?

00:45:18.060 And I think what you're kind of seeing, I would argue, faith-based and conservative filmmaking in the last few years,

00:45:43.280 was cheesy and failed for so many years what you're seeing now clay is on the other side

00:45:47.580 they're the ones doing it they're the ones saying now that we don't have to tell a good story anymore

00:45:51.780 we have to check boxes uh we have to make sure that all of our tropes are included that all of

00:45:56.960 our representatives uh in all our various tribes feel like they had agency um and you know that's

00:46:03.220 i think one of the things that we set out to do when we made nefarious was just to make the best

00:46:07.560 thriller kind of based off those 90s thrillers like Fallen, you know, like Silence of the Lambs,

00:46:14.100 like Seven, with the budget we had to kind of make our best version of that. And it just so

00:46:18.640 happened to contain our worldview because as filmmakers, that's our belief system. But it

00:46:22.700 wasn't like we were just sitting around in a writer's room. Oh, let's drop that line too.

00:46:26.220 It wasn't like that. And so we're actually in the process right now of raising money for the

00:46:30.300 next movie we're going to do that may be even darker than the first film was. And I have to

00:46:35.740 tell you that that finding our our people need to understand that you know um we're behind in pop

00:46:42.560 culture because the other side was until now well they still are they're willing to lose money for

00:46:47.960 their message and i think that our people have got to got to determine and understand that the

00:46:53.180 amount of hearts and minds you can reach with good storytelling nowadays is huge um and it's the last

00:46:59.280 place left guys where i think people will let you uh come at their worldview if you entertain them

00:47:04.240 and just tell them a good story that they won't do in any other venue

00:47:07.080 where so many minds are made up.

00:47:08.720 And I think this is kind of the undiscovered country for the American right

00:48:11.800 chief racebader uh and ryan clark uh they published this interview with sophie cunningham uh drawing a

00:48:17.440 clear line between insanity and sanity i think the most so that's a great observation there i i think

00:48:22.840 the most important thing actually that sophie cunningham said is is is when she said i said

00:48:27.780 what i said and i stand by it in response there is a graveyard of people who have been willing to
