00:03:08.040 It's the 47 morning update and it starts right now.
00:03:11.480 Story number one.
00:03:12.640 President Trump going on offense.
00:03:15.500 Reminding the American people of what America looked like
00:03:18.160 before he became president the second time.
00:03:21.620 And also reminding you what Democrats want to do to this country economically.
00:03:26.240 And reminding you about what all has already been accomplished
00:03:28.920 in the last nine months.
00:03:31.560 As the president described it,
00:03:32.940 we're making big progress on prices
00:03:35.460 and we'll keep working to make sure everyone benefits.
00:03:39.800 The president making it clear at a summit revolving around McDonald's
00:03:44.740 where one in eight Americans have actually worked.
00:03:47.000 That Donald Trump not only inherited an economic mess when he took office,
00:03:50.780 but that was because of years of mismanagement under Joe Biden.
00:03:54.940 His incompetent administration and Democrats in Congress who also spent years insisting and lying to you,
00:04:03.080 claiming that inflation was, quote, transitory.
00:04:06.160 And then they decided to dole out trillions in new spending and dramatically upscale our government's size.
00:04:14.660 This brought the country to the brink of economic ruin,
00:04:18.020 which is mainly why Donald Trump was elected.
00:04:20.740 Now, since day one, the Trump administration has been on a mission to tame Biden's inflation crisis,
00:04:28.120 stop the sky high Biden price increases and lower costs for everyday families.
00:04:34.700 Well, it can't happen overnight.
00:04:36.300 The White House says there is clear evidence that shows the trend is in the right direction.
00:04:41.320 Now, President Trump had to tame Biden's inflation and under Biden,
00:04:47.200 inflation averaged nearly 5 percent and hitting 9.1 percent during the worst inflation crisis in decades.
00:04:54.760 All of it fueled by radical left out of control government spending.
00:04:59.540 In President Trump's second term, inflation has dropped to an average of just 2.7 percent,
00:05:06.980 significantly lower than the four year average of 5 percent under Biden and 9.1 percent at its all time high.
00:05:14.860 The critical first step in reversing the Democrats cost of living disaster.
00:05:20.420 In fact, under President Trump, Americans have even seen the first overall price declines since 2020 in several different categories.
00:05:30.620 Now, Americans have made real wage gains as well, and there's still work to do.
00:05:34.760 The White House says as well, but let's remind you about where we were under Biden.
00:05:40.040 Workers lost more than $2,900 in purchasing power, meaning inflation rose faster than wages.
00:05:48.920 In President Trump's second term, even after accounting for higher prices,
00:05:53.820 America's real wages have grown by nearly $700 and are on track to increase by nearly $1,200 after his first full year in office.
00:06:03.700 And then there's the major prices that we deal with every day.
00:06:07.380 Gas price is a great example.
00:06:09.980 Under Biden, the average gas price was the highest it had ever been during a presidential term,
00:06:16.560 reaching its highest ever price even after he drained our strategic oil reserves to artificially decrease pricing before Election Day.
00:06:26.660 In President Trump's second term, Americans have seen the lowest average gas price in more than four years,
00:06:32.240 and were on track to spend the lowest amount of their disposable income on gas in the last two decades.
00:06:38.560 As President Trump's energy dominance vision continues to come to fruition,
00:06:44.240 energy prices, they say, will fall even further, igniting another price decline that will help all Americans.
00:06:51.580 Now, if you're not happy with the price of the pump, let's talk about grocery prices.
00:06:56.620 Prices and housing prices are trending also in the right directions for American workers.
00:07:02.060 Prices for everyday staples are starting to see declines finally.
00:07:06.600 Under Donald Trump, prices for eggs, for butter, ice cream, fresh fruit, cereal, fish, seafood, rice, pasta, and ham have all seen declines,
00:07:19.080 and more help is on the way.
00:07:21.720 Housing costs are also moderating.
00:07:24.040 Under Biden, mortgage rates hit their highest in decades.
00:07:27.000 In President Trump's second term, the average 30-year fixed-rate mortgage was 6.17% at the end of October,
00:07:34.840 12% lower than when he took office.
00:07:38.300 That according to the Consumer Price Index.
00:07:41.280 In fact, the 12-month change in overall shelter costs is at its lowest level in four years as well.
00:07:48.640 Now, there are other efforts to continue driving prices down.
00:07:52.280 The president talked about it tonight.
00:07:54.100 Ramping up take-home pay and strengthening our economy.
00:07:58.200 President Trump's deregulatory efforts are also saving Americans a collective $180 billion.
00:08:03.480 What does that mean for you?
00:08:05.060 $2,100 per family of four.
00:08:08.100 For example, President Trump halted burdensome Biden-era efficiency standards
00:08:12.580 that jacked up the price of everyday appliances.
00:08:16.200 And President Trump signed into law the largest tax cut in American history.
00:08:21.960 This includes no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, and no tax on Social Security.
00:08:29.200 All of which will save Americans money in their tax returns.
00:08:33.540 The landmark legislation will raise America's take-home pay by as much as $13,300.
00:08:40.380 And wages by as much as $11,600.
00:08:44.680 So the president decided to take the stage to talk about exactly where we are.
00:08:49.880 And I want you to hear what the president had to say.
00:08:52.380 While Democrats wanted to give Americans the largest tax hike in history in July,
00:08:58.020 I proudly gave you the largest tax cuts in American history and signed the one big beautiful bill.
00:09:02.880 I call it the great, big, beautiful bill, into law.
00:09:05.720 That includes no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, and no tax on Social Security for our great seniors.
00:09:13.360 That is a big deal.
00:09:15.040 It's amazing what the president has accomplished already this year.
00:09:19.120 But the president says, I'm not done there, and made a pledge to the American families.
00:09:24.520 No matter if you're rich or poor, conservative or liberal, black or white, or anything else in between.
00:09:29.780 Here's what the president pledged to you.
00:09:32.620 In my first term, we built the greatest economy in the history of the world.
00:09:36.860 And now we're doing it again.
00:09:38.460 But this time, it really is, as I said, much stronger, much better.
00:09:43.620 I think it's going to be something that nobody has ever seen before.
00:09:46.940 My pledge to every family and every small business is that I will not rest until you are richer, stronger, more successful, happier,
00:09:55.880 until you've gotten a piece of the American dream.
00:09:57.920 Some of you in this room have really gotten a piece of it, because you made a great decision to go with a great, great company years ago.
00:10:04.920 And it's really pretty amazing.
00:10:07.220 That begins with making America.
00:10:09.580 We have to do the word is affordable.
00:10:11.960 And affordable should be our word, not theirs, because the Democrats got up and took affordability, affordability.
00:10:18.060 And they don't say that they had the worst inflation in history, the highest energy prices in history.
00:10:24.280 Everything was the worst.
00:10:25.660 President Trump is bringing jobs and investments back to the U.S. as part of his plan to expand America's economy.
00:10:33.720 In fact, since President Trump took office, companies have invested trillions.
00:10:38.000 I want to say that word again.
00:10:39.420 Trillions of dollars into their U.S.-based operations, onshoring and creating hundreds of thousands of new jobs for Americans.
00:10:47.860 President Trump is also reducing the deficit, a combination of spending cuts, interest savings, economic growth, and tariff revenues are expected to reduce the deficit by trillions of dollars,
00:11:02.420 resulting in higher take-home pay, lower interest rates, and a much stronger American economy.
00:11:08.200 In fact, 1.9 million more American-born workers are employed today than when President Trump took office.
00:11:16.200 That's 1.9 million Americans who are now happily at work with a job.
00:11:22.480 Right now, the U.S. has more people working now than at any time in the history of our country.
00:11:28.180 And the Trump administration, he says, will not rest until the high prices that resulted from Democratic policies are fully reined in.
00:11:37.580 He said we're making progress, and the best, he says, is yet to come.
00:11:42.680 We're making tremendous progress.
00:11:44.840 1.9 million more American-born workers are employed today than when I took office.
00:11:50.520 Think of that.
00:11:51.120 1.9 million more today.
00:11:53.160 And these are American-born workers.
00:11:56.120 Nobody thought that was possible.
00:11:58.000 And we have the strongest borders in the history of our country.
00:12:00.780 Nobody comes in unless they come in legally.
00:12:03.560 You see the numbers.
00:12:04.620 Everyone thinks it's impossible.
00:12:06.140 A year ago, millions of people were storming our borders.
00:12:09.500 Today, they only come in if they come in legally.
00:12:12.660 And wages for hourly workers are rising at the fastest pace in 60 years.
00:12:16.980 Now, the president also made it clear that there's a lot when it comes to trade deals.
00:12:21.180 We're seeing trade deals with Switzerland that have just been announced.
00:12:24.220 And we're modifying tariffs for certain agricultural products.
00:12:27.860 In fact, on Friday, President Trump signed an executive order exempting certain qualifying agricultural products from the reciprocal tariffs that he first announced on April 2nd.
00:12:38.740 Exemptions are accordingly set to be granted following a spat of new trade deals being inked with some of our biggest allies in the Western Hemisphere.
00:12:47.440 In addition to deals that President Trump has already secured with the EU, Japan, the U.K., and other major trading partners.
00:12:56.200 What will this do?
00:12:57.600 Well, it will give substantial progress in making sure that American workers are able to export at the same level that we're importing.
00:13:06.080 And Donald Trump also made it clear that there are major investments coming into this country and the tariff money is being used to help American workers, something that the left and the media said was impossible.
00:13:20.240 Take a listen.
00:13:20.920 About that and to your leader who when we met, I said, how are you doing with prices?
00:13:26.880 Prices are coming down.
00:13:28.120 He said we were up 40 percent because of Biden and inflation and they're coming down and they're coming down rapidly.
00:13:34.040 So I hope that all continues to go.
00:13:37.980 But we're really doing well as a country.
00:13:39.580 Most importantly, however, I will tell big picture.
00:13:41.760 We have over 17 trillion dollars being invested in our country in nine months.
00:13:48.180 It's now just about ready to crack 18.
00:13:51.100 And by the end of one year, we will have about 20 to 21 trillion dollars invested in our country.
00:13:58.400 That's more by 10 times the highest amount ever invested in any country ever before.
00:14:05.760 And it's largely because of tariffs and I think November 5th election.
00:14:11.440 But it's the largest amount as an example.
00:14:13.980 So if we have 20 or 21 in one year, 21 trillion.
00:14:18.040 Think of what that is.
00:14:19.420 That's car factories.
00:14:20.820 It's A.I.
00:14:21.620 It's everything.
00:14:22.840 They're all coming back because of the tariffs.
00:14:25.280 They're all coming back because they don't want to pay 15, 20, 30, 100 percent tariff.
00:14:30.580 It wasn't that complicated.
00:14:32.080 People are saying, you know, Trump was right.
00:14:33.660 It really wasn't that complicated.
00:14:35.760 But it's been amazing.
00:14:36.980 As an example, if you take me at 20 for one year, sleepy Joe Biden, you know what he was?
00:14:42.480 Less than one for four years.
00:14:44.840 And if they got elected, they would have been at minus 10 because people were moving out of the country in record numbers.
00:14:51.420 So I hope you'll take the info that I gave you today and I hope you'll share it wherever you can on social media.
00:14:57.920 Share this podcast and text messages with family and friends because this is the reality of what's happening.
00:15:03.480 And it's the complete opposite of what the left and the media are selling the American people.
00:15:09.300 They believe that they are successful right now in convincing most Americans that somehow the economy is a disaster because of Donald Trump and that things aren't getting better.
00:15:20.740 In fact, they're getting worse.
00:15:22.140 But if you look at the facts, that's just not the truth.
00:15:25.740 Thank goodness, because of President Donald Trump and his incredible leadership.
