00:01:49.580 That's what the Democrats said they wanted in Minnesota.
00:01:52.800 But now Tim Walz has called President Donald Trump, and here's what we've been told about

00:02:02.580 The governor, Tim Walz, called me with a request to work together with respect to Minnesota.
00:02:07.980 It was a very good call, and we actually seem to be on a similar wavelength.
00:02:12.020 I told Governor Walz that I would have Tom Holman call him, and that what we're looking
00:02:16.720 for are any and all criminals that they have in their possession.
00:02:23.000 This is exactly, by the way, what hundreds of other cities do when they catch a criminal
00:02:27.680 that's an illegal immigrant, and then they work with federal authorities, ICE, to make sure
00:02:32.520 that they are taken into custody.
00:02:34.740 That's not what they do in sanctuary cities or states like Minnesota.
00:02:38.500 Back to the president's own words, the governor very respectfully understood that, and I will
00:02:45.480 be speaking to him in the near future.
00:02:47.820 He was happy that Tom Holman was going to Minnesota, and so am I.
00:02:52.240 We have such tremendous success in Washington, D.C., Memphis, Tennessee, and New Orleans, Louisiana,
00:02:59.320 and virtually every other place we have touched, and even in Minnesota, crime is way down.
00:03:05.260 But both Governor Walz and I want to make it better, signed President Donald J. Trump.
00:03:11.300 Now, that wasn't all that the president had to say on this issue.
00:03:15.820 He also, hours before that, put out this statement on True Social.

00:03:38.420 welfare fraud that has taken place in Minnesota and is at least partially responsible for the

00:03:48.000 Additionally, the DOJ and Congress are looking at Congresswoman Ilham Omar, who left Somalia
00:03:54.760 with nothing and is now reportedly worth more than $44 million.

00:04:30.200 It is President Trump's hope and wish and demand for the resistance and chaos to end today.
00:04:36.320 That's why President Trump spoke with Governor Walz directly this morning, and he has outlined
00:04:41.300 a clear and simple path to restoring law and order in Minnesota.
00:04:46.060 Number one, Governor Walz, Mayor Fry, and all Democrat leaders should turn over all criminal
00:04:51.860 illegal aliens currently incarcerated in their prisons and jails to federal authorities, along
00:04:57.740 with any illegal aliens with active warrants or known criminal histories for immediate deportation.
00:05:03.800 Number two, state and local law enforcement must agree to turn over all illegal aliens who
00:05:10.560 are arrested by local police.
00:05:13.400 And then thirdly, local police must assist federal law enforcement in apprehending and detaining
00:05:19.240 illegal aliens who are wanted for crimes, especially violent crimes.
00:05:24.280 If Governor Walz and Mayor Fry implement these common sense cooperative measures that I will
00:05:29.840 add, have already been implemented in nearly every single other state across the country,
00:05:35.280 Customs and Border Patrol will not be needed to support ICE on the ground in Minnesota.
00:05:40.580 ICE and local law enforcement can peacefully work together, as they are effectively doing
00:05:45.360 in so many other states and jurisdictions.
00:05:48.260 Additionally, President Trump is calling on the United States Congress to immediately pass
00:05:52.900 legislation ending sanctuary cities once and for all.
00:05:56.800 American cities should be safe sanctuaries for law-abiding citizens only, not for dangerous
