00:01:05.580 Who's doing it?

00:03:05.700 And you're going to get 20% off your first order.
00:03:08.460 It's the 47 Morning Update.
00:03:10.160 And it starts right now.
00:03:11.880 Story number one.
00:03:13.020 So you're tuning in right now wanting to know what's going on with the big, beautiful bill.
00:03:17.600 A lot is changing.
00:03:19.340 And it's happening very quickly.
00:03:21.480 I'm going to timestamp this for you to let you know it's approaching midnight as we speak right now.
00:03:27.740 When you hear this, depending on when you download it, it may change drastically from what I'm telling you now.
00:03:34.440 That's why I'm letting you know that as I literally just got the phone with members of Congress to get an update on what they're hearing.
00:03:42.680 And I'm going to be honest with you, after talking and texting with several different people in Congress, many of them still don't know exactly what this final bill is going to look like.
00:03:54.480 There is a lot of back and forth that is taking place right now.
00:03:58.680 Now, there's also a rumor that at midnight tonight, there are up to six GOP senators that are holding out on the big, beautiful bill.
00:04:09.420 I talked to another senator who said it's five different GOP members, but they believe that those five will come around after they get some concessions that they need.
00:04:20.200 This is how the sausage is made in Washington, D.C.
00:04:23.820 And yes, all of the people I talked to are sitting around their offices waiting for what's going to happen next.
00:04:31.300 So let's go back to earlier in the day.
00:04:34.280 And I want to explain to you how we got to the point that we are at right now.
00:04:37.820 Caroline Leavitt taking a lot of heat at the White House press briefing today on the big, beautiful bill, because there are so many in the Democratic Party and in the mainstream media that want to destroy this from becoming a reality.
00:04:50.560 I want you to listen to what she had to say about this legislation.
00:04:54.680 Speak on it.
00:04:55.320 Can you respond to the CBO estimate that the Senate bill would increase the deficit by nearly $3.3 trillion?
00:05:01.620 This is one of the most fiscally conservative pieces of legislation that has ever made its way through Capitol Hill.
00:05:06.600 There's $2 trillion in mandatory savings in this bill.
00:05:11.100 And not only that, the projected growth that this bill will bring to our economy.
00:05:15.360 It will be an economic boom.
00:05:16.720 The Council of Economic Advisors has an analysis that shows that the bill will generate $4.1 trillion in economic growth.
00:05:25.340 And it will cut taxes, putting more money back into the American people's pockets.
00:05:29.240 That's why this president wants this bill to pass.
00:05:31.380 And I know he's busy working the phones and doing what he needs to do today to make it happen.
00:05:35.100 So we'll see you all later.
00:05:36.240 Thank you.
00:05:36.680 We'll see you in Florida.
00:05:37.520 Thank you.
00:05:38.520 Now, as you heard Caroline say there, we'll see you and tomorrow in Florida, meaning right
00:05:43.860 now as you're listening to this show.
00:05:45.620 There's also another important part of what she just said.
00:05:48.520 The president is working the phones and has been working them from what I've been told all
00:05:53.140 day long and late into the evening and very well maybe pulling what you would refer to in college as a good old all-nighter,
00:06:00.840 making sure that this gets across the finish line.
00:06:04.480 Now, there is also other senators that are going on TV talking about where they believe this is going.
00:06:10.640 Senator Tuberville from Alabama.
00:06:12.640 You may know him as the football coach.
00:06:14.360 Here's what he had to say on Fox Business.
00:06:16.740 What is your assessment?
00:06:18.040 When you look at the whole thing, what would you have liked to have gotten in that didn't?
00:06:21.940 And what do you think is the best things in it?
00:06:24.060 Well, first of all, two-thirds of the bill is the tax cuts, which obviously we've got to get done.
00:06:28.860 It's necessary.
00:06:30.060 Then one-third of the bill is we're reforming most of the agencies, which is Medicaid, school loans,
00:06:37.580 all those things that are really costing us a lot of money.
00:06:41.020 Dave, right now we have 47 million young Americans that are in debt with student loans for $1.7 trillion.
00:06:52.520 We can't sustain that.
00:06:53.960 We can't sustain it.
00:06:55.100 So we've done some work on that.
00:06:56.980 We've done some work on Medicaid.
00:06:58.540 Medicaid is basically reforming, kicking people off that's not supposed to be on there,
00:07:02.440 illegals and people that should be working. 0.99
00:07:04.720 So all this, most of it is good.
00:07:07.180 Sometimes you hate to do things that you know is going to put people in a situation where they're going to be uncomfortable.
00:07:15.800 But at the end of the day, we all have to adjust to this because we can't keep spending the way we're spending right now.
00:07:20.920 We can't do it.
00:07:21.840 We can't keep spending the way we're spending right now.
00:07:24.560 We just can't keep doing it.
00:07:27.000 Now, Senator Tuberville brought up an excellent point there as well.
00:07:30.040 Two-thirds of this big, beautiful bill are actually tax cuts,
00:07:33.320 and one-third is reforming most of the agencies.
00:07:37.440 That is extremely important.
00:07:39.420 Now, there's also many that are saying the American people actually don't want this.
00:07:43.420 One of the things that Tom Tillis has been saying about this bill,
00:07:47.060 that actually is not true.
00:07:49.080 In fact, if you go back and look at what Donald Trump ran on,
00:07:52.620 he ran on the issue of making the Trump tax cuts permanent.
00:07:57.500 How are we doing it?
00:07:58.520 It is through the big, beautiful bill.
00:08:00.840 So the President of the United States of America is burning the midnight oil.
00:08:05.360 Senator Ron Johnson defending the big, beautiful bill as well on CNN,
00:08:10.120 saying this to Jake Tapper.
00:08:12.300 $50 billion.
00:08:13.180 So Biden deficits were three times larger than pre-pandemic levels of deficit,
00:08:18.360 and spending is just out of control.
00:08:20.320 So it's easy to be a Democrat, spend, mortgage your kids' future,
00:08:23.740 never be held accountable by the media.
00:08:26.240 It's pretty hard what we're trying to do,
00:08:28.520 and so this may take a little bit more time.
00:08:30.840 Well, deficit spending is a bipartisan affliction.
00:08:33.160 You know that better than anyone.
00:08:34.540 Earlier this month, you were warning about this bill
00:08:37.220 adding trillions to the national debt.
00:08:39.120 You told ABC News, quote,
00:08:40.420 I'm worried about our kids and grandkids,
00:08:42.620 the fact that we're mortgaging their future.
00:08:44.380 It's wrong.
00:08:45.240 It's immoral.
00:08:47.120 Has your position changed?
00:08:49.640 This bill, I mean, this legislation is still going to add to the deficit.
00:08:53.620 So Democrats, their only solution is increase taxes.
00:08:57.080 We don't want to do that.
00:08:57.920 That harms economic growth.
00:08:59.200 We won't get the revenue we ever look for.
00:09:01.160 All Democrats do is spend.
00:09:02.900 By the way, they're talking about, you know,
00:09:04.440 we're going to test cuts for millionaires.
00:09:06.460 No, we're just not going to increase taxes.
00:09:08.100 They could have done that in the four years when they were in power.
00:09:12.000 They could have gotten rid of the Tax Cut and Jobs Act.
00:09:14.260 They could have increased taxes on every American. 0.96
00:09:16.640 That's what we're trying to avoid.
00:09:18.080 So again, Democrats love to spend.
00:09:20.200 I'm not saying that we don't have Republicans that are big spenders as well.
00:09:23.340 I've been focusing on spending, spending, spending,
00:09:26.320 trying to put pressure on the process.
00:09:27.780 And I think right now the stumbling block is what the Senate bill does.
00:09:31.480 Even though we actually reduce spending more,
00:09:33.380 we also make sure that those business tax provisions,
00:09:36.580 which will incentivize growth, are permanent.
00:09:39.780 So that holds a bigger score.
00:09:42.000 But the difference between the House and Senate is about $651 billion.
00:09:45.440 Rick Scott's amendment, which is eminently reasonable.
00:09:47.820 It doesn't kick anybody off of Medicaid.
00:09:49.860 It just limits, at some point in time in the future,
00:09:52.900 additional adults who are childless, who are working age, who could work.
00:09:59.800 It's going to deny them that 9-to-1 match, which is distorted Medicaid.
00:10:05.680 Jake, for every dollar the state puts into a, to provide health care for a disabled child,
00:10:11.860 the federal government puts $1.33.
00:10:13.980 But for every dollar they put in toward a single childless adult who should be working,
00:10:18.060 we kick in $9.
00:10:19.100 That has led to all kinds of abuse, provider taxes, provider fees.
00:10:22.620 By the way, that's not health care.
00:10:24.160 But yet the federal government's kicking out $9 for every one of the states.
00:10:27.680 That's what we're trying to address.
00:10:29.160 We're not trying to take Medicaid away from disabled children.
00:10:32.140 We're trying to stop that scam that states and providers have been using
00:10:35.700 to draw down hundreds of billions of dollars for the federal government that we can't afford.
00:10:40.220 You listen to Ron Johnson there defending the big, beautiful bill.
00:10:43.760 Dems' only solution is increased taxes.
00:10:46.420 And saying, quote, it's easy to be a Democrat.
00:10:49.060 You can also find it very interesting that Jake Tapper at CNN now actually cares about government spending,
00:10:56.660 something he didn't care about under the Biden administration not one single time.
00:11:00.980 But all of a sudden the media now is like, well, we need to be looking at the deficit.
00:11:06.460 At the end of the day, Donald Trump promised to make the tax cuts permanent
00:11:10.480 and to rein in the size of government.
00:11:13.760 That's clearly what he's advocating for and what he's trying to do right now.
00:11:18.220 Now I'll say this, for the five that are apparently holding out at this hour,
00:11:22.880 a little after midnight as I am recording this show,
00:11:26.440 anything can happen in the next few hours.
00:11:29.400 And I have a feeling that at the end of the day,
00:11:31.960 Donald Trump will be working those phones
00:11:33.880 and making sure that the big, beautiful bill gets across the finish line for the American people. 0.98
00:11:39.900 Now story number two.
00:11:41.140 The media yet again putting ICE agents' lives at risk.
00:11:45.380 This time, CNN featuring a segment on ICE block.
00:11:50.800 It is an app that lets users anonymously crowdsource ICE agents
00:11:56.020 sightings across a map and send alerts to others within a five-mile radius.
00:12:02.500 Now the app's creator framed as a, quote,
00:12:04.900 harmless early warning system to help people avoid ICE,
00:12:09.040 not to incite violence against the agents.
00:12:12.160 ICE block enforces constraints, they claim as well.
00:12:16.800 One post every five minutes, auto-deletion after four hours,
00:12:20.760 and explicitly recommends users not interfere with officers.
00:12:25.100 That's their get-out-of-jail-free card, apparently.
00:12:28.360 The White House press secretary, Caroline Leavitt,
00:12:30.560 accusing CNN of encouraging violence by publicizing the app,
00:12:35.100 especially amid a reported 500% surge in assaults on ICE agents nationwide.
00:12:40.820 The acting ICE director called CNN's coverage, quote,
00:12:45.180 reckless and irresponsible,
00:12:47.460 warning that it paints a target on federal law enforcement officers' backs.
00:12:52.760 And Tom Homan, the former ICE director and the current border czar,
00:12:56.900 branded the app as simply disgusting
00:12:59.060 and urged the DOJ to investigate CNN's role in all of this.
00:13:04.600 I want you to hear more of what Tom Homan had to say
00:13:07.560 on Fox News Channel about this.
00:13:10.820 So this next story is outrageous.
00:13:13.160 A new iPhone app is alerting people about ICE sightings in their area,
00:13:17.460 as if that's not bad enough.
00:13:19.080 CNN appears to be promoting the app,
00:13:21.640 talking to the creator, and doing a whole story on it.
00:13:24.520 That is not sitting well with my next guest,
00:13:26.900 BordersR, Tom Homan, joins me now.
00:13:29.360 Tom, they've crossed the line here.
00:13:32.620 This is out of control.
00:13:33.640 I know it's just simply disgusting, 0.63
00:13:36.020 and any network that covers that is disgusting as well.
00:13:39.000 So I'm hoping DOJ steps in there and see if they cross that line
00:13:41.820 of impeding federal law enforcement officers.
00:13:44.060 Look, Lawrence, you're not talking about this.
00:13:46.140 Assaults against ICE is up over 500%.
00:13:48.320 Now you've got an app that's going to tell where ICE operations are going to be.
00:13:52.720 It's only a matter of time before ICE agents are ambushed by some nut,
00:13:55.920 like what happened in L.A., throwing a Molotov cocktail,
00:13:58.760 throwing bricks at these officers.
00:14:00.440 This is just disgusting at every level.
00:14:03.340 So I hope DOJ dives in this deeply.
00:14:05.980 Because, you know, ICE is concentrating on public safety threats
00:14:08.240 and national security threats.
00:14:09.700 This shouldn't be a partisan issue.
00:14:11.120 This shouldn't be an issue anybody is against.
00:14:14.120 So they're already a dangerous job going after the worst of the worst.
00:14:17.020 These guys are putting their lives on the line every day
00:14:19.060 going after the worst of the worst and the national security threats.
00:14:21.680 And this app makes it that much more dangerous.
00:14:24.040 It's incredible that those who enforce law,
00:14:27.140 all of a sudden they're the bad guys.
00:14:28.420 They want to break the law, they're victims. 0.98
00:14:30.140 It's disgusting.
00:14:31.060 Why would CNN promote this?
00:14:32.780 Why would they do a story on this?
00:14:34.720 You know, I can't figure it out.
00:14:36.100 I've been doing this for four decades.
00:14:38.040 I've never seen anything like this in my life.
00:14:40.100 You know, it's got to be they hate Trump more than they love law enforcement.
00:14:43.480 I can't figure it out.
00:14:45.440 But something needs to be done.
00:14:46.820 I mean, you advertise this guy's app on a national TV network,
00:14:51.240 that's just going to bring more followers, sick followers, to the app and use it. 0.52
00:14:55.960 Again, letting the bad guy know ICE is coming.
00:15:00.000 They're here.
00:15:00.840 Here's where they're going next.
00:15:02.140 This is dangerous for the men and women of law enforcement.
00:15:05.140 So true, Tom.
00:15:06.260 I want to get you.
00:15:06.920 Tom Homan clearly slamming CNN for promoting the ICE tracking app
00:15:11.140 and now is saying maybe it's time for law enforcement,
