Verdict with Ted Cruz - Border Crisis on FIRE： Trump & Biden at the Border Living in Alternate Realities

00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.

00:00:02.600 Guaranteed human.

00:00:05.460 Welcome. It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you.

00:00:09.320 And Senator, it was a very big day at the border.

00:00:12.540 Former President Trump going to the border as well as Joe Biden.

00:00:16.320 Well, there's a dramatic difference.

00:00:18.240 Joe Biden was there as a photo op doing everything he could to cover up from the disaster unfolding on our southern border.

00:00:25.180 Donald Trump was there to focus on the need to secure our border.

00:00:29.680 And tonight we're going to discuss what's happening at the border, the crisis, and in particular, the crimes that are unfolding, the murders, the rapes, the children who are being assaulted.

00:00:39.300 And all of this is being done with the absolute complicity of Joe Biden and the congressional Democrats.

00:00:45.720 And the media is enthusiastic in covering up their complicity in this regard.

00:00:51.920 It is a lot happening at the border.

00:00:53.300 We're going to break it all down for you.

00:00:54.960 Plus, shocking new poll numbers that are coming out as well that talk about the lack of trust in Joe Biden and great numbers for Donald Trump when it comes to border security.

00:01:05.220 But first, I want to tell you about our friends, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.

00:01:10.360 We all know about the atrocities that were committed by Hamas last October, which kicked off the vicious war as Israel is defending herself from terrorists on every side.

00:01:20.300 And right now, the needs of those affected in Israel are great.

00:01:25.060 The toll on the Israeli people is staggering and massive. 0.98

00:01:27.820 And that's why I want you to join me in helping the hundreds of thousands of Israelis that have been forced from their homes, their entire communities torn apart, lives that have been devastated by death and destruction.

00:01:38.780 The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, IFCJ, is right there in the middle of it every single day helping.

00:01:47.300 They are distributing critical essentials like basic things like food, medicine, emergency supplies for the hundreds of thousands of suffering Jews.

00:01:57.140 It is great to have IFCJ there, but we need your help.

00:02:01.900 And that's why I'm partnering with them today.

00:02:03.860 I want you to visit ifcj.org to help.

00:02:08.640 Every donation is urgently needed to help the people of Israel to give the International Fellowship of Christian and Jews.

00:02:15.480 Please go now to support ifcj.org and give as generously as you can.

00:02:21.160 Your gift will be matched right now to double in impact and help provide twice the support.

00:02:27.600 So, again, doesn't matter what you can give.

00:02:29.900 Just go to support ifcj.org.

00:02:33.320 That's support ifcj.org.

00:02:35.680 Thank you and God bless for all of you that get involved.

00:02:39.060 Senator, there was a shocking just parallel really between the guts of Donald Trump to go see what's really happening at the border.

00:02:48.460 And Joe Biden, yet again, the White House, basically whitewashing anything bad that happens at the border so he doesn't have to see it.

00:02:57.140 Fox News brought this up and compared where the two men were going and just how different the two spots were between Brownsville Station.

00:03:05.660 And that's where Biden went.

00:03:07.260 And compared it to Donald Trump, where 511 illegal immigrants were encountered at the Eagle Pass Station on Monday.

00:03:14.280 Here's how Fox put it together.

00:03:15.780 Customs and Border Protection Sources told Fox News that nearly 5,000 illegals were apprehended along the southern border from California through Texas in a single day on Monday.

00:03:28.200 The Eagle Pass Station in the Del Rio sector, where Trump is headed, in Brownsville, Texas, reported 511 apprehensions on Monday.

00:03:38.240 Anyway, Brownsville Station in the Rio Grande Valley sector, where President Biden will be, only 12 were reported.

00:03:47.400 Texas's lieutenant governor is going after Biden's, well, location.

00:03:52.320 He doesn't care.

00:03:53.500 This is all about the politics of the future.

00:03:55.560 They want millions to come here, become citizens, then voters so they can control the country.

00:04:00.020 And they don't care.

00:04:01.140 It's obvious they don't care who dies to meet those goals.

00:04:05.640 Senator, you've been to the border a lot.

00:04:07.520 What's the point of going to the border if you're actually not going to see what the problem is at the southern border?

00:04:13.040 And this is another example of this administration whitewashing anything that may look bad.

00:04:17.540 They did this when they went to San Francisco.

00:04:19.340 They did it last time they went to the border.

00:04:21.240 It's a joke.

00:04:22.360 They're not trying to fix this problem or even see it.

00:04:25.720 Well, this has been a pattern throughout the Biden presidency.

00:04:28.260 He's been to the border twice as president.

00:04:31.500 He went previously to El Paso.

00:04:34.240 El Paso was facing a crisis, a massive influx of illegal immigrants. 1.00

00:04:38.840 When Joe Biden came, they cleaned it up entirely.

00:04:42.700 They pulled every illegal immigrant out of the way so that he didn't encounter them. 1.00

00:04:47.960 The Biden White House said after his trip to El Paso that Joe Biden had not seen even a single illegal immigrant.

00:04:56.260 And you're right, that is reminiscent of what happened when President Xi from China came to San Francisco. 0.99

00:05:02.920 Now, San Francisco, the Democrats there, have allowed their city to just go into crap. 0.99

00:05:09.800 They've allowed drug users. 0.99

00:05:12.400 They've allowed homeless people.

00:05:13.580 They've allowed criminals to just take over downtown San Francisco.

00:05:18.320 They've allowed people to literally be defecating on public streets.

00:05:24.140 And for a long time, the elected Democrats in San Francisco told the residents there, there's nothing we can do.

00:05:30.960 I'm sorry.

00:05:31.540 This is our city.

00:05:32.760 You have to deal with the defecation of these vagrants because we are powerless. 0.97

00:05:39.220 And then the president of China, President Xi, came to San Francisco.

00:05:45.120 And suddenly, those same Democrat officials who were powerless to do anything to protect the residents of the city,

00:05:52.580 cleaned up the entire city.

00:05:54.020 They got rid of all the homeless people.

00:05:55.580 They got rid of all the criminals.

00:05:56.740 They got rid of all the vagrants. 1.00

00:05:58.020 They cleaned the crap off the streets, quite literally. 0.99

00:06:02.460 And I'm not saying crap in the sort of generic term of stuff. 0.99

00:06:06.900 I mean, literally, human defecation. 0.98

00:06:09.320 They cleaned it up.

00:06:10.980 They made it spotless.

00:06:13.120 And I've got to say, Ben, by the way, just as an aside, if you're a San Francisco resident,

00:06:18.380 let's assume you're like a lefty Democrat because, you know, if you live in San Francisco,

00:06:23.500 you probably are a lefty Democrat.

00:06:24.620 Is there not a tiny voice in the back of your head that says, wait a second, like I live here,

00:06:30.920 my spouse lives here, my kids live here.

00:06:34.200 Why are my children not important enough to clean up the public parks?

00:06:38.600 Why are my children not important enough to not have them walk down the sidewalk

00:06:42.240 without tripping over a hypodermic dental?

00:06:45.080 Why are my children not important enough to not see human defecation on the streets?

00:06:51.240 Why does it take the president of China to do that?

00:06:54.620 Well, the same thing is true when Joe Biden goes to the border.

00:06:58.520 When he goes to El Paso, it's miraculously cleaned up.

00:07:01.800 And, you know, when he went today to Brownsville, miraculously, the suffering, the dead bodies,

00:07:09.840 the people who are facing misery, the children who have been brutalized,

00:07:15.000 the women who've been sexually assaulted, they all disappear.

00:07:18.960 Understand, this White House, when it approaches border security, when it approaches foreign policy,

00:07:27.080 when it approaches national security, everything is about domestic politics.

00:07:32.160 And so today was a photo op to demonstrate Joe Biden is here and nobody, nobody, nobody is suffering

00:07:40.220 because of his disastrous open border policies.

00:07:44.120 Let's go back to 2021 when Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said this

00:07:51.240 about what they were doing to undo what Donald Trump had done at the border.

00:07:56.840 Listen carefully to his words, and then we're going to compare it now to what the White House is saying

00:08:01.620 about their excuses for not securing the southern border.

00:08:04.700 And I'd like to understand from you what Trump era immigration policies have been banned,

00:08:10.660 ended, reversed, and if any investigations are underway by you.

00:08:14.440 So we have rescinded so many Trump immigration policies, it would take so much time to list them.

00:08:23.640 That is back in September the 23rd of 2021.

00:08:29.100 They were admitting then, Mayorkas was admitting,

00:08:32.320 we did basically the complete 180 of anything that Donald Trump did to secure the border through executive action.

00:08:40.080 We rescinded so many Trump immigration policies, it would take too much time to list them.

00:08:45.100 That's what he said on MSNBC.

00:08:47.140 Yet now, the president lied today and yesterday when he was asked about securing the border,

00:08:53.460 saying, I don't have the power to do anything unless Congress comes up with a bill.

00:08:57.740 He could just go back and implement everything Donald Trump did, and this would change overnight.

00:09:03.420 And yet the media continues to allow them to get away with that lie as well.

00:09:07.780 Well, that's exactly right.

00:09:09.300 But understand, the media is complicit in this lie.

00:09:12.580 Listen, Joe Biden campaigned on open borders.

00:09:15.460 He campaigned on saying, I will not deport people, I will not enforce our laws.

00:09:20.160 And as president, that may be the only campaign promise he has honored.

00:09:24.920 If you look at what is happening at the end of the day,

00:09:28.580 you cannot defend what is happening in our border.

00:09:32.360 If you see what is happening, and I'm there frequently, I was there this weekend,

00:09:36.540 five days ago, I was down at the border.

00:09:39.320 If you see the dead bodies that are piling up, the Biden body bags of migrants,

00:09:47.400 last year, 853 migrants died crossing illegally into this country.

00:09:52.160 When I recently took 19 senators down to the border,

00:09:55.840 I took him out on a boat on the Rio Grande River.

00:09:58.320 And when we were out on a boat, we saw a dead body floating in the river,

00:10:03.060 a man who presumably had drowned that day trying to cross illegally.

00:10:06.940 That is happening every day.

00:10:08.860 We're seeing roughly three bodies a day from people crossing illegally.

00:10:13.780 When you look at the children, I got to tell you, Ben,

00:10:17.200 when I go out on Midnight Patrol, and I've done this a lot,

00:10:20.620 and you encounter groups of kids, there's nothing that makes me more physically sick.

00:10:25.520 There's nothing that makes me want to vomit more than when I see 10, 11, 12, 13-year-old girls 1.00

00:10:32.680 that have clearly been sexually assaulted,

00:10:36.440 that are being sex trafficked,

00:10:39.780 and that are facing a life of years of sex slavery.

00:10:45.580 When you look at kids in the eyes,

00:10:48.300 if you have a shred of humanity, it horrifies you.

00:10:52.580 And understand, why does Joe Biden not go to the border?

00:10:56.340 Because he doesn't want to see them.

00:10:57.900 On this trip in Brownsville, did he see a single child who was sexually abused?

00:11:03.780 No. 0.97

00:11:04.000 Did he see a woman who was violently raped? 0.90

00:11:06.900 No.

00:11:07.720 Did he see the families of the victims of those who had died of drug overdoses?

00:11:13.540 In the last year, more than 100,000 Americans have died of drug overdoses.

00:11:20.240 70% of that has been Chinese fentanyl coming across our southern border.

00:11:25.320 Did Joe Biden listen to those moms, listen to those dads,

00:11:28.200 listen to parents crying over the loss of their kids?

00:11:32.440 No.

00:11:32.680 This was a photo op that was sanitized.

00:11:37.340 Lysol was used everywhere.

00:11:39.040 It's like a Potemkin village. 0.97

00:11:41.200 It's like a Hollywood set designed to say,

00:11:45.040 we're at the border, nothing to see here,

00:11:47.920 nobody suffering, nobody being raped,

00:11:50.260 nobody being assaulted, nobody dying,

00:11:52.760 and it is profoundly, profoundly dishonest.

00:11:55.900 Yeah.

00:11:56.100 And the White House lied about that as well.

00:11:58.020 They were asked about the fact that this trip by Joe Biden was actually planned after Donald Trump announced his visit to the border with the governor of Texas as well.

00:12:10.620 And this is what the White House had to say about it.

00:12:12.680 The former president, his people are saying that the only reason President Biden is going this week is because former President Trump was going to go and he wanted to not lose this issue.

00:12:25.360 So can you give us a sense of what the planning process was to go this week?

00:12:29.900 I mean, look, you guys have covered this president and other presidents for some time.

00:12:35.280 We just can't all of a sudden put something on the president's schedule, right?

00:12:38.980 It takes time to do that.

00:12:40.780 The president has been very clear that he was going to take this issue directly to the American people.

00:12:46.660 That's a lie, by the way.

00:12:48.200 Biden announced his visit right after President Trump did.

00:12:52.500 And yes, the president can be agile and go on last minute trips or do something in 24, 48 or 72 hours.

00:12:59.600 They act like this man is just too busy to go to the border because it's just too hard to get there.

00:13:03.540 We're, again, selling another lie to the American people.

00:13:06.760 And look, it's obvious now the White House understands, Senator, that this is a major issue and could cost him a re-election candidacy, a re-election bid, I should say, against Donald Trump because the American people have also walked away from him on border security.

00:13:22.940 Now, that's exactly right.

00:13:24.060 You know, I was down on our southern border on Sunday of this week and I was there.

00:13:29.160 I was there in Laredo and I was in a town hall.

00:13:32.000 It was a town hall that included the mayor of Laredo, who's a Democrat.

00:13:37.720 It included the county judge, who's the chief executive in Laredo and Webb County, who's also a Democrat.

00:13:44.320 And we did an extended town hall, about an hour and a half, two hours, talking about the issues facing Texas.

00:13:50.900 And what's amazing, in the state of Texas, there's actually quite a bit of common ground and bipartisanship between Democrats and Republicans.

00:14:00.160 And in Texas, we managed to work together.

00:14:03.480 We managed to solve common problems.

00:14:05.200 And what was amazing is sitting there with two Democrat elected officials in South Texas, nobody, and I mean nobody, nobody, nobody, was defending Joe Biden's open borders.

00:14:17.100 Because any person that actually sees the human suffering, the disaster, the pain, the death that is caused by Biden's open borders, nobody can defend it.

00:14:28.720 In South Texas, there is literally nobody out there saying, hey, this is great, this is awesome, this is the right policy.

00:14:34.600 Because when you see it, there is no defense.

00:14:38.000 And in this town hall, Ben, I was asked by the moderator, I said, do you have any message you would give to Joe Biden?

00:14:46.560 What would you say to him?

00:14:48.080 And they asked each of us, all three of us, they said, look at the TV camera and say, what would you say to Joe Biden right now?

00:14:54.380 And what I said to Joe Biden, this is on Sunday, I said, Mr. President, come to the border.

00:15:00.140 Come down to the border, see with your own eyes, the people who are suffering, who are dying, who are paying the price of your open border policies.

00:15:12.440 See the dead bodies of the people who are found on Texas farms and ranches every day, about three a day, found on ranches and farms every day.

00:15:21.780 See, go sit down with the children, with the little boys, the little girls, who've been brutalized, who've been beaten, who've been mutilated, who've been violently sexually assaulted.

00:15:35.420 Look at those children.

00:15:37.380 Look at the women. 1.00

00:15:38.600 Look at the women. 1.00

00:15:39.340 And many of the women are really teenage girls. 0.99

00:15:41.480 They're not even adult women yet. 0.82

00:15:43.520 Look at the women who the traffickers have brutalized, who've repeatedly, violently raped. 0.79

00:15:49.400 And look at the families who've lost loved ones to fentanyl, to drug overdoses.

00:15:56.900 What I said when I looked at that camera is I said, Mr. President, you need to understand your policies have a very real human cost.

00:16:06.880 I said that on Sunday, the next day on Monday, Biden announced he was going to the border.

00:16:12.820 Now, I'm not claiming cause and effect.

00:16:14.280 I think he was doing that overwhelmingly in response to Trump's going to the border.

00:16:19.620 But I will say when he went to the border, he did that.

00:16:22.880 He did what I asked.

00:16:23.880 He said, come to the border.

00:16:25.560 But he did not do the second half of what I asked.

00:16:29.000 Look at the victims.

00:16:30.140 Look at the people who suffered.

00:16:31.280 Look at the people you've hurt.

00:16:32.680 He deliberately created a day where he saw nobody, nobody, nobody who suffered because of the disastrous policies he's put in place.

00:18:45.980 Senator, one of the things that this administration has lied about is the Biden administration has insisted now time and time again,

00:18:52.740 I'll give you the White House press briefing, that they have a proper vetting system at the border.

00:18:59.100 They're lying.

00:18:59.960 Not only do we have people coming across the border on the terrorist watch list, but we also have, as Donald Trump said back in 2016,

00:19:07.040 cartel members, gang members, rapists, murderers, and they're now all over the country.

00:19:12.280 But listen, the White House continue to lie.

00:19:14.160 This idea that just there's no vetting and there's no proper immigration enforcement going on at the border just does not comport with reality.

00:19:22.620 I mean, that's just what they're saying at the White House.

00:19:26.020 It doesn't work with reality.

00:19:28.260 All right, let's look at within the last week.

00:19:30.760 Five illegal immigrants have been arrested for raping a woman in Florida. 0.87

00:19:35.200 So that's in one state. 0.98

00:19:37.240 Murdering a brutal murder of a college student in Georgia.

00:19:41.640 That's another state.

00:19:42.560 There was the murdering of a two-year-old infant child in Maryland in another state.

00:19:49.920 Sexual assault against a minor in Virginia, another state.

00:19:54.700 And the raping of a 14-year-old girl and the stabbing of a man in Louisiana.

00:20:01.240 Now, you look at that list that I just went through.

00:20:04.960 None of those areas are border state areas that I just mentioned.

00:20:09.940 That's within the last week.

00:20:12.120 And yet the White House says they have a proper vetting system.

00:20:15.800 That is a lie to every American.

00:20:18.400 Well, listen, understand.

00:20:20.160 Every community in America, every city, every state is a border state.

00:20:25.200 Why?

00:20:25.900 Because Joe Biden and the Democrats are sending illegal immigrants to your city, to your state every day.

00:20:31.980 If you look at, in the last two weeks, the number of people who have died from violent crimes caused by illegal immigrants that Joe Biden let go, it is staggering.

00:20:44.620 Look, everyone now knows the crime in Georgia.

00:20:48.520 Lake and Riley, a 22-year-old beautiful woman, a nursing student, murdered by an illegal alien. 0.56

00:20:56.300 The responsibility for that, understand, the responsibility for Lake and Riley's murder is 100% with Joe Biden and the Democrats.

00:21:06.420 Now, why is that?

00:21:07.180 I want to make clear, this is not just empty rhetoric.

00:21:09.960 These are facts.

00:21:11.280 The illegal immigrant from Venezuela, he crossed into this country. 0.99

00:21:15.140 We apprehended him.

00:21:16.480 We apprehended him in El Paso, Texas.

00:21:18.580 We had him in our custody.

00:21:21.220 Now, here's what should have happened.

00:21:22.360 He came in illegally.

00:21:23.960 We should have put him on a plane and flown him back to Venezuela. 0.99

00:21:27.380 Said, get the hell out of our country. 0.99

00:21:29.080 You only come to this country illegally. 1.00

00:21:31.220 But that's not what happened.

00:21:33.120 What happened instead is Joe Biden let him go.

00:21:36.920 He used a power under federal law called parole power to parole him, to give a humanitarian release to a criminal.

00:21:46.060 So, this criminal then went to New York City, where what happened?

00:21:51.660 We arrested him again, this time for endangering the welfare of a child.

00:21:57.500 Now, New York City is a sanctuary city.

00:22:00.200 They had this criminal in jail.

00:22:02.380 What did they do?

00:22:03.200 They let him go.

00:22:04.540 They let him go.

00:22:05.300 They said, go on free.

00:22:06.380 No problem.

00:22:07.080 And they also refused to notify ICE of his release.

00:22:12.820 They're a sanctuary city.

00:22:13.900 So, they don't let immigration officials know when illegal immigrants are criminals in their city. 0.98

00:22:19.400 Now, mind you, if they'd done the right thing, when he endangered the welfare of a child, if they'd thrown his ass in jail, if they'd put him in jail, Lakin Riley would still be alive. 0.95

00:22:30.240 So, there are two points in this.

00:22:32.380 In El Paso, when Joe Biden let him go, and in New York City, when New York Democrats let him go, if either of those changed, Lakin Riley is alive today.

00:22:44.880 But instead, this murderer went from El Paso to New York to Georgia, and he murdered that 22-year-old woman.

00:22:54.960 And Joe Biden and the Democrats have direct, absolute culpability for that murder.

00:23:24.960 So, if you're looking to connect, then we hope you'll join us.

00:23:27.920 Listen to the Honest Talk podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever you listen to your podcasts.

00:23:33.640 The Border Patrol Union President Brandon Judd also said that many Border Patrol agents were very angry, extremely upset about Biden's border visit.

00:23:45.180 Here's why he said they were so upset about how this all went down.

00:23:48.840 Having said that, he's now piggybacking onto this Trump trip to make it look like, to the people who are mad about immigration when they go to the polls, he's trying to do something.

00:23:58.080 At the end of the day, though, Brandon, you know as well as I do, you cannot please everybody here, and a trip like this, it's just not going to work for him.

00:24:06.260 No, and especially for the Border Patrol agents.

00:24:08.120 They are extremely upset.

00:24:09.780 We're all upset that he is going to Brownsville rather than going to an area where he would be able to evaluate exactly what's going on and to come up with ideas and policies to actually secure the border.

00:24:21.160 Rather, he's going to Brownsville.

00:24:22.400 And that's the exact opposite of what President Trump is doing.

00:24:24.540 He's coming right here to Eagle Pass.

00:24:26.400 He's going to see exactly what has been done to secure this particular area so then he can expand upon that when he gets back in the White House.

00:24:34.760 That's exactly what policymakers should do.

00:24:37.620 That's what people that govern should do.

00:24:39.000 They should look at the areas that are trouble spots so that they can use what has worked and expand upon that.

00:24:46.280 This president, by the way, Joe Biden, he kneeled, he eulogized, he cried for a violent criminal who died during an arrest.

00:24:55.340 You remember the Floyd protests?

00:24:57.620 He got behind Black Lives Matter. 0.71

00:24:59.600 He got behind the anarchy and the chaos that happened in cities all over the country.

00:25:04.720 And yet the White House, this president, still hasn't said the name of Riley not one single time.

00:25:13.580 So if you get killed by an illegal immigrant in this country, they don't even, they really don't mention it. 1.00

00:25:19.160 They just look the other way.

00:25:20.520 And you listen to this Border Patrol Union president.

00:25:22.800 I think he's right to say it.

00:25:24.260 These Border Patrol agents are angry because clearly the president isn't taking this situation seriously.

00:25:30.500 And proof of it is where he went to visit.

00:25:32.460 Say her name, Lakin Riley, she was murdered because of Joe Biden's open borders.

00:25:41.280 By the way, in Virginia, Prince George's County, Jeremy Caceres, a two-year-old child, was murdered by an illegal immigrant who Joe Biden released.

00:25:53.640 In Boston, Massachusetts, a 14-year-old child, was raped by an illegal immigrant, Joe Biden released.

00:26:03.620 In Louisiana, a child under the age of 14, was raped by an illegal immigrant, Joe Biden released.

00:26:13.660 All of these have happened in the last couple of weeks.

00:26:16.460 This is happening right now, real time.

00:26:19.460 When it comes to the radical policies of the Democrats, they are endangering you, your family, your children, and we are seeing dead bodies.

00:26:29.900 We are seeing people brutalized.

00:26:31.840 And none of the Democrats will even say the names of the victims whose lives they are taking.

00:26:40.720 White House Press Secretary Jean-Pierre asked about it on CNN.

00:26:43.700 Here's what she said about it at the White House this morning.

00:26:46.080 One of the things that some Americans are focused on are crimes that are allegedly being committed by migrants who are in the country illegally.

00:26:54.860 There was the death of Lakin Riley in Georgia.

00:26:57.340 There's been an arrest made there.

00:27:00.000 Republicans are directly blaming President Biden for this.

00:27:03.560 Republican Senator Josh Hawley said, quote, these deaths are on him.

00:27:08.300 What's the White House response to that?

00:27:09.980 So, first of all, I want to offer our condolences to the family of Lakin.

00:27:15.920 I mean, this is a horrific, horrific loss for any family.

00:27:19.860 And obviously, if whoever is found guilty, we need to make sure that that happens.

00:27:27.220 And obviously, we don't want to see anything happen like that again.

00:27:32.560 But here's the thing.

00:27:34.380 We have done the work to make sure we're dealing with a broken immigration system.

00:27:40.660 Senator, have they done the work?

00:27:42.320 Because that's news to me.

00:27:43.480 We've done the work to make sure we're dealing with a broken immigration system.

00:27:47.500 Did they or did they not break the system on purpose to flood the country with millions of illegal immigrants? 1.00

00:27:53.660 So, look, at some level, yes, they did the work.

00:27:57.340 They did the work to break the system.

00:28:00.100 Why is the system broken?

00:28:01.680 Because Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and the congressional Democrats wanted to break it.

00:28:07.500 Understand, when Joe Biden came into office just over three years ago,

00:28:12.240 he inherited the lowest rate of illegal immigration in 45 years.

00:28:19.760 All he had to do was do nothing.

00:28:22.060 Simply sit there.

00:28:23.960 Don't screw it up.

00:28:26.140 And Donald Trump, I worked hand in hand with Donald Trump.

00:28:30.380 We had made enormous progress securing the border.

00:28:33.700 Joe Biden does nothing and he could have a victory.

00:28:37.200 But instead, he deliberately caused this crisis.

00:28:41.440 He broke the border.

00:28:43.080 Three decisions caused this crisis.

00:28:45.800 He halted construction of the border wall.

00:28:48.280 He reinstated catch and release of the border.

00:28:51.020 And he pulled out of the amazingly successful Remain in Mexico agreement.

00:28:55.660 That was deliberate.

00:28:57.400 He knew what he was doing.

00:28:59.080 And the consequence was this invasion at our southern border.

00:29:03.180 But let me tell you, every dead body.

00:29:05.340 Lake and Riley.

00:29:06.320 Lake and Riley.

00:29:07.160 Her parents ought to say, why? 0.95

00:29:09.640 Why? 1.00

00:29:10.160 Why didn't Joe Biden take that damn murderer, put him on a plane and send him the hell out of here? 1.00

00:29:15.860 He should have. 1.00

00:29:16.940 The law provides that he needed to.

00:29:19.540 And yet his politics, his partisan interest said, you know what?

00:29:23.760 I don't care if I'm releasing a murderer.

00:29:28.080 If Americans die, it doesn't matter if it keeps Democrats in power.

00:29:33.340 And I got to tell you, Ben, that pisses me off because I don't believe a word I just said there is hyperbole.

00:29:39.380 I think these people, all they care about is political power.

00:29:45.300 And if more Americans die, that is perfectly acceptable to them. 1.00

00:29:49.980 The crime is everywhere.

00:29:51.540 You're in D.C.

00:29:52.840 Three different police officers were shot by an illegal immigrant in the past week as well.

00:29:57.620 Another example of this is no longer just at the border.

00:30:00.840 It is all over the country.

00:30:03.120 Let me tell you about Patriot Mobile.

00:30:04.640 When I look down at my cell phone, it says Patriot in the top left corner.

00:30:09.220 And I know that every time I make a phone call and every time I send a text, I'm making a difference setting up for what I believe in.

00:30:15.620 In 2024, I have made a commitment to stop giving my money to woke corporations that hate my values, hate my Christian values, my family values, hate conservative values.

00:30:27.220 I am now spending my money with companies that stand with what I believe in.

00:30:31.600 And Patriot Mobile is one of those.

00:30:33.300 For more than a decade now, Patriot Mobile has been offering Americans the only Christian conservative wireless provider.

00:30:41.320 And when I say only, I mean it.

00:30:43.000 They're the only one.

00:30:44.400 Big Mobile, who you're probably with right now, gives massive donations to Democratic causes, candidates, and even those running for the White House on the Democratic side.

00:30:56.160 They also give huge donations to Planned Parenthood.

00:31:00.120 That is why I switched to Patriot Mobile.

00:31:02.020 Now, when you switch, this is the best part.

00:31:04.400 They give you access to all three major networks, which means you get the same coverage that you're accustomed to without funding the left in their woke agenda.

00:31:13.780 Switching to Patriot Mobile is easy.

00:31:16.180 You get to keep your same cell phone number, keep your phone you have right now, or upgrade to a new one.

00:31:21.140 And their team will help you find the best plan for your needs to save you money.

00:31:24.780 If you've got a small business, they can help you switch all your lines at one moment in time.

00:31:30.420 Just go to PatriotMobile.com slash verdict.

00:31:34.160 That's PatriotMobile.com slash verdict, or 972Patriot.

00:31:39.440 Get free activation when you use the offer code verdict, 972Patriot.

00:31:44.740 And don't forget, every time you pay your bill, about 5% of that bill goes back to support conservative causes.

00:31:51.240 You get to support free speech, religious freedom, sanctity of life, the Second Amendment, as well as supporting our military, our veterans, our first responders, and our wounded warriors.

00:32:01.780 So make a difference with your phone every single day.

00:32:05.780 PatriotMobile.com slash verdict, or 972Patriot.

00:32:10.180 Senator, lastly, White House Press Secretary Jean-Pierre on Biden's trip to the border.

00:32:15.820 She said this is not about politics, which made me about fall out of my seat.

00:32:21.440 What does it tell you that both President Biden and Donald Trump are going to be at the border on the same day?

00:32:28.100 Here, there's a difference here, and I want to be very clear about this,

00:32:31.180 because the President is going to, as you just said, Brownsville, Texas, to hear directly from the Border Patrol agents,

00:32:37.560 to hear directly from the frontline personnel on what is going on on the ground.

00:32:42.240 And let's not forget, the President was at the border just about a year ago, in January of 2023, to do the same.

00:32:48.000 This is not about politics for the President.

00:32:50.280 Senator, this is all about politics.

00:32:52.920 He's seen the poll numbers that you and I have seen.

00:32:56.340 Everything this White House does is about politics.

00:32:59.180 Yeah, and they know it.

00:33:00.200 And the majority of Americans right now believe that the President of the United States of America

00:33:04.520 doesn't know how to fix the border, can't fix the border.

00:33:08.800 And the majority of Americans now say that Donald Trump is the only one that can do it.

00:33:13.500 So, look, it's worse than that.

00:33:15.240 I actually don't think it's right that Biden and the White House doesn't know how to fix the border.

00:33:19.940 They don't want to fix the border.

00:33:21.300 They made three decisions the first week in office.

00:33:24.700 They halted the border wall.

00:33:26.200 They reinstated catch and release.

00:33:28.260 They pulled out of Remain in Mexico.

00:33:30.500 If you want to fix the border, it's not rockin' science.

00:33:33.800 I've said this a thousand times in the Senate Judiciary Committee.

00:33:37.820 I've said this a thousand times on the floor of the Senate.

00:33:40.660 I've said this a thousand times on national television.

00:33:44.280 Reverse those three decisions.

00:33:46.180 Build the wall.

00:33:47.480 End catch and release.

00:33:49.500 Return to the Remain in Mexico agreement.

00:33:51.760 That would work.

00:33:53.700 Understand, Joe Biden and the Democrats do not want it to work.

00:33:58.640 They are making the most cynical political decision I have seen in my lifetime because they are allowing people to die.

00:34:06.800 We've talked about the people who've been murdered. 0.85

00:34:09.260 We've talked about the children who've been raped.

00:34:11.840 And, by the way, we've talked, not on this podcast, but many times before, about the risk of a major terrorist attack.

00:34:18.480 God forbid, Ben, I don't want to wake up tomorrow or the next day or the next day and find out that we've had another 9-11 here in the United States,

00:34:25.740 that we've had another mass murder by violent terrorists.

00:34:31.320 But I have been very explicit.

00:34:34.380 I believe the risks of another major terrorist attack are greater today than they've been any time since September 11, 2001.

00:34:45.800 And it is not that the Democrat Party is oblivious to this.

00:34:51.000 It's they simply don't give a damn. 0.76

00:34:53.560 They're willing to risk.

00:34:54.120 They're the first to know about it, by the way.

00:34:55.460 I mean, the White House is the first to know.

00:34:57.760 Mayorka's the first to know.

00:34:59.320 They know before you know or I know or anybody else knows how many on the terrorist watch list are getting caught coming across the southern border.

00:35:05.540 And we know how many were caught in September, October, November, and December of last year at record numbers.

00:35:10.980 More than the last four years combined when Trump was the president.

00:35:15.120 That is exactly right.

00:35:16.600 And the only, only way this problem is going to be solved is to reelect a Republican president, to reelect Donald Trump, put him in the White House.

00:35:27.400 And understand, this crisis will be solved not over the course of a year, not over the course of six months, but literally within days.

00:35:37.060 Because the driving factor, so what determines whether you have an illegal immigration crisis and what happens when people cross over the border?

00:35:45.800 Almost all of them have a cell phone with them.

00:35:47.780 And right now, they look for border patrol agents.

00:35:51.460 They turn themselves in.

00:35:52.500 They're not caught.

00:35:54.180 They go, when I'm on midnight patrol, they turn themselves in to me.

00:35:58.380 They have a cell phone.

00:35:59.600 And if you ask them, the last time I was down at the border, I asked multiple illegal immigrants, do you believe you get to stay in America now that you're here? 0.89

00:36:07.920 And they all said, every single one said, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

00:36:11.820 As long as that's the case, we will have an invasion.

00:36:16.020 Every one of them has a cell phone.

00:36:17.660 They pick up the phones.

00:36:18.700 They call their friends.

00:36:19.640 They call their family.

00:36:20.580 They call their loved ones.

00:36:21.660 And they say, you know what?

00:36:23.660 Come to America. 0.95

00:36:24.580 When you get here, they let you go.

00:36:27.720 You get to stay.

00:36:29.600 If that is the result, we will continue to have a full-scale invasion.

00:36:35.180 The only, only, only way to stop it is when people come here illegally, you put them on a plane, and you send them back to where they came from. 1.00

00:36:42.980 And again, they have a cell phone, so they call their friends. 0.91

00:36:45.340 If you deport them, they say, oh, crap, you could spend months and thousands of dollars and be horribly brutalized by traffickers. 0.83

00:36:52.480 And you get here, and they send you home. 0.99

00:36:54.500 Don't do it.

00:36:55.700 And it's why I'm going to make a prediction.

00:36:57.740 In January of 2025, the numbers of illegal immigrants are going to plummet massively.

00:37:07.380 And it's not like it takes a year-long program from the president.

00:37:11.880 All it takes, Donald Trump as president, when you cross illegally, will deport you. 0.84

00:37:17.580 And that will cause, that single fact, will cause the numbers to plummet.

00:37:22.440 If there's anything that may be turning the tide here, and that seems to actually be media covering the stories that you mentioned and the tragedies,

00:37:31.940 KABB-TV in San Antonio actually ran this on the local news.

00:37:37.560 Listen.

00:37:37.720 As for the question of why now, political experts have suggested to me that it's because the president has kind of had his oh-shoot moment,

00:37:45.720 meaning that Biden and his campaign staff have realized that the immigration issue is important to the American people, and it isn't going away.

00:37:54.480 That fact only further evidenced by numerous recent polls that show that immigration is a top-three issue for voters this election cycle, and for many, it's the number one issue.

00:38:06.280 I mean, Senator, lastly, you look at this, and that's on local TV.

00:38:12.180 We have not seen that type of scrutiny of this president ever.

00:38:16.460 And when we go back over the tragedies that are happening in all these different states around the country, just in the last week,

00:38:23.360 there are so many illegal immigrants.

00:38:26.000 Millions and millions have come across the border.

00:38:28.860 They are in every state in America, and there are a lot of bad actors committing heinous crimes in every state in America.

00:38:34.780 There is no way now that you can't hold this president, I think, accountable if you're in the media telling these stories.

00:38:43.120 Tell the truth.

00:38:44.560 That is all that is needed right now.

00:38:46.820 Tell the truth about what is happening at the border.

00:38:49.660 Tell the truth about how Joe Biden and the Democrats are deliberately, willfully allowing this invasion.

00:38:56.860 The reason Biden and Kamala and the Democrats don't go to the border is because when they come, they bring the TV reporters.

00:39:06.300 Their entire strategy is not to defend this.

00:39:08.520 Look, understand, on Senate Judiciary Committee, I lay out these facts day after day after day.

00:39:15.340 No Democrat jumps up and says, you know what, Ted's wrong.

00:39:18.280 He doesn't understand it.

00:39:19.300 Let me tell you the alternative.

00:39:21.000 It's not like reasonable minds can differ.

00:39:23.280 Their strategy is simple.

00:39:25.560 Shut their mouths because they know CNN will never cover what's said.

00:39:30.080 They know MSNBC will never cover it.

00:39:32.360 They know ABC, CBS, NBC will never cover it.

00:39:36.240 And so the most powerful thing we can do is simply tell the stories of the death, of the rape, of the suffering, of the misery that Joe Biden and the Democrats are causing.

00:39:50.060 That is the most powerful tool to turn it around and stop it.

00:39:54.740 Don't forget, share this with your family and friends, please.

00:39:57.580 This podcast, put it up on all your social media accounts and help others hear about this.
