00:00:26.820 We had a late night voting session Friday night, went till two in the morning, and it
00:00:31.320 was really astonishing.
00:00:32.520 The Democrats doubled down on open borders.
00:00:35.580 They doubled down on weakness towards Iran.
00:00:38.120 They doubled down on anti-Israel bias.
00:00:40.980 They doubled down on extremism.
00:00:43.140 These Dems have decided they know which side their bread is buttered, and it is the open

00:00:49.000 And we saw vote after vote after vote that every Democrat like lemmings jumped off the
00:00:54.300 cliff of these extreme positions, including a whole bunch of Democrats who are on the
00:00:58.200 ballot in November.

00:04:00.860 And this had to also deal with the issue of another possible government shutdown.
00:04:06.380 So how bad did the American people get screwed?

00:04:11.520 What happened was Chuck Schumer was trying to ram through the trillion-dollar-plus
00:04:15.460 massive omnibus government funding bill.
00:04:18.580 And we were there all day Friday.
00:04:20.720 And a lot of us, a lot of the Republicans, opposed this bill.
00:04:23.360 And we introduced a whole series of amendments.
00:04:25.160 And we wanted votes on the amendments.
00:04:28.220 And Schumer had a problem.
00:04:29.840 Because the amendments we were seeking votes on are eminently reasonable.
00:04:33.500 They're common sense.
00:04:34.560 They're overwhelmingly popular with the American people.
00:04:37.680 And his Democrats that are on the ballot in November were terrified of voting for these

00:04:44.940 So we spent all day Friday just in paralysis, because Schumer didn't know what to do, and
00:04:49.500 Schumer didn't know what to do.
00:04:50.960 And in particular, John Tester in Montana really, really, really didn't want to vote on these

00:04:57.700 Sherrod Brown in Ohio really, really, really didn't want to vote on these amendments.
00:05:02.860 Jackie Rosen in Nevada didn't want to vote on these amendments.
00:05:05.740 Tammy Baldwin in Wisconsin didn't want to vote on these amendments.
00:05:08.640 Bob Casey in Pennsylvania didn't want to vote on these amendments.
00:05:11.800 So we spent all day Friday just in limbo.
00:05:14.920 I actually spent a good chunk of the day Friday playing basketball, because we just had nothing

00:05:19.260 So I played hoops while Schumer and the Democrats trying to figure their stuff out.
00:05:25.320 Finally, late at night, Friday night, Schumer decides, all right, screw it.
00:05:31.220 We're going to take all the votes, and I'm going to force all my members to cast every
00:05:36.600 terrible vote they can.
00:05:38.560 And you know what?
00:05:39.340 We're so confident that the media is corrupt, they can cast these votes and no one will know.
00:05:43.560 So let me walk through some of these votes, because it is astonishing.
00:05:47.420 One of the very first votes was an amendment I had, and my amendment was very simple.
00:05:52.840 My amendment would have barred the Biden administration from sending billions of dollars to Iran.
00:05:59.680 Iran is led by the Ayatollah, a radical, theocratic, genocidal maniac.
00:06:04.680 The Biden administration has already flowed over $100 billion to Iran.
00:06:11.520 But since then, Iran not only is the world leading state's funder of terrorism, not only
00:06:17.300 has launched over 100 attack on U.S.
00:06:20.660 servicemen and women in the Middle East, but funded October 7th.
00:06:26.060 They are the principal funder of Hamas.
00:06:27.760 They have given over 90 percent of Hamas's funding.
00:06:30.440 They're the principal funder of Hezbollah.
00:06:33.100 So in the wake of October 7th, Israel is the middle of war.
00:06:37.540 And I stood up and said, it's real simple.
00:06:39.580 If you stand with Israel, if you stand with America against Iran, this ought to be a very
00:06:46.580 simple vote.
00:06:47.720 Don't send billions of dollars to Iran.
00:06:51.060 Right now, the Biden administration is trying to send another $10 billion to Iran.

00:07:01.940 Every single Democrat voted no, actually except one.

00:07:14.960 Now, look, Menendez is pretty mad at his own party.

00:07:24.040 He might run as an independent in the state of New Jersey.
00:07:27.400 He has long been the best Democrat when it comes to standing up to Iran compared to the

00:07:33.120 And so his vote, a component of Bob's vote, I think, was a screw you to Schumer and the
00:07:38.600 rest of the Democrat Party.
00:07:40.660 But that being said, it is astonished that Tester and Brown and Casey and Rosen, they all cast
00:07:48.360 their vote and said, yep, we're all for sending billions of dollars to the Ayatollah who chants
00:07:54.180 death to America and death to Israel, even while he's funding Hamas death squads right
00:08:00.260 now.
00:08:01.200 You look at the fight here, and it is shocking that you guys are even having to have this
00:08:06.080 battle, even have these types of fights.
00:08:08.040 And yet, the American people seem to lose yet again.
00:08:13.200 How do Democrats keep getting away with this?
00:08:15.880 And I'm saying that in a real standpoint.
00:08:18.080 Is it because the media doesn't talk about what they're actually doing on a Friday night

00:08:23.120 Is that the main core thing so that people don't even realize how bad they're getting

00:08:57.120 Let's walk through some of the rest of these votes, because these votes are actually astonishingly

00:09:03.120 Another one of the votes we had was a vote that was introduced by Ted Budd.
00:09:08.440 This was a vote that said we should deport illegal immigrants who have violently assaulted
00:09:17.980 police officers.

00:09:22.800 If he violently assaults a cop, for example, the six illegal immigrants in New York who beat up two New York cops.
00:09:30.100 Once you beat up a cop, you should be deported.
00:09:32.900 This this ought to be easy.

00:09:35.120 Like, to be honest, grab a hundred people in any state in America.
00:09:42.100 It doesn't have to be a red state.

00:09:46.000 Ask a hundred people if an illegal immigrant beats up a cop.

00:09:58.220 By the way, this was one of the amendments that had Tester terrified, that had Sherrod Brown terrified, that had Bob Casey terrified.

00:10:08.800 Every single Democrat voted no.
00:10:13.400 They are now on record against deporting illegal aliens who violently assault police officers.
00:10:20.920 It's not just that.
00:10:24.240 Let's talk about the importing of illegal immigrants.
00:10:26.960 And this was one of the votes that you guys had to deal with.
00:10:31.380 And it was a it was something that was brought up by Bill Haggerty, one of your colleagues out of Tennessee, that was like, hey, can we all at least agree that we shouldn't be spending the American taxpayers dollars to import on chartered flights?
00:10:45.280 Three hundred and twenty thousand in twenty twenty three that we know of illegal immigrants in America on top of the millions that have already come in.
00:10:54.980 Why are we importing them?
00:10:57.060 And yet every Democrat voted against that as well.
00:11:00.520 Yeah, look, that's exactly right.
00:11:02.200 Bill Bill Haggerty had a motion to prohibit the Department of Homeland Security from using funds to, quote, facilitate, provide or purchase air transportation from a foreign country to the United States for an alien in order for such an alien to utilize the parole process.
00:11:22.040 And this was target at the Biden administration, having flown three hundred and twenty thousand illegal immigrants into America from Cuba, from Haiti, from Nicaragua and from Venezuela.
00:11:34.520 Now, they did this in secret.
00:11:38.060 They did this in the dark of night.
00:11:39.780 We know they've flown over three hundred and twenty thousand illegal immigrants into this country to forty three different airports, but they will not tell us what airports they flew them to.
00:11:48.800 They say it's a national security risk to tell us what airports they're flying these into.
00:11:54.380 But we do know at least one of them, which is last week, a twenty six year old Haitian named Corey Alvarez, who entered under Biden's parole program, was arrested in Massachusetts for the rape of a 15 year old disabled girl.
00:12:13.300 That was last week. Now, look, I get Massachusetts is a bright blue liberal state, but even in Massachusetts, if you ask people, do you want Joe Biden flying illegal immigrants out of Haiti into Massachusetts, letting them go?
00:12:30.340 And by the way, one of them he just did just raped a 15 year old disabled girl.
00:12:35.800 Even in Massachusetts, the voters would say hell no.
00:12:40.500 But we voted on it and every single Democrat voted no straight party line vote.
00:12:48.180 So when you move forward with this and this is, I think, going to come down to November, how much of this could come back to haunt the Democrats and what they just did, the American people?
00:12:59.800 Or is this now just business as usual and Democrats say, look, at least our voters, the majority of them don't pay attention or agree with us or just don't care?
00:13:09.200 Is this the lowest level of, I would also argue, apathy you've ever seen in America, especially when there's so many issues like this that you just described?
00:13:17.440 I mean, I would have never thought it would have been politically a reason to stand and band together for Democrats to say, yes, we are, in fact, going to take millions and millions of dollars and we are going to fly illegal immigrants in the United States of America.
00:13:30.000 And some of them are doing these heinous and horrendous crimes.
00:13:33.380 And yet we're still going to stay lockstep with the president of the United States of America in a presidential election year to top all that off.
00:13:40.500 Well, I think they feel utterly unaccountable.

00:14:45.240 She was literally the Biden press secretary charged with lying to the American people every day on behalf of Joe Biden.

00:14:55.620 And yet Chuck Todd practically had to be medicated that how dare NBC hire one Republican?

00:16:40.360 Janet Yellen was even asked questions.
00:16:42.920 And the media didn't cover this.
00:16:45.160 The Biden Treasury Secretary, Janet Yellen, literally admitted that Biden doesn't actually have a plan for Social Security.

00:16:58.460 The media, there is virtually no one in the corporate media who even pretends to be a journalist anymore.

00:17:07.880 One of the other amendments we voted on was Ted Budd had a different amendment, but that was the Lake and Riley Act.
00:17:13.620 And it was an amendment that would prohibit funding from being used to grant immigration status to any alien who is charged with, arrested for, convicted of acts that constitute the essential elements of burglary, theft, larceny or shoplifting.
00:17:33.220 It was designed to respond to the horrific murder of Lake and Riley.
00:17:38.640 And what happened?
00:17:39.700 We had a vote on the Senate floor.
00:17:41.980 Every single Democrat voted no.
00:17:45.220 All of them.
00:17:46.100 Straight party line.
00:17:47.620 Why?
00:17:48.040 Because they know they're not asked about Lake and Riley when they get home.
00:17:50.940 When they do a press interview, nobody asks them about Lake and Riley.

00:17:56.060 I got to play at Janet Yellen because for the people that missed this, this is the Biden Treasury secretary admitting Biden doesn't have a plan to deal with one of the biggest issues in our country that affects many seniors.
00:18:12.100 Has Treasury really not looked at, OK, we're already charging four point nine trillion for the deficit, for Medicare, for a lot of other things.
00:18:18.840 And now we've got to add social, but we haven't done the math to figure out how much that tax rate would have to be.

00:18:28.000 He wants to work with Congress to find a way to protect Social Security and extended solvency beyond 2034.
00:18:38.120 If the president wishes that he doesn't have a plan, Madam Secretary, how could he justify not having a plan when he's been in office for three years already?
00:18:45.220 He believes it's important to work with Congress and not Madam Secretary.
00:18:50.700 He has not worked with us at all on this Senate Finance Committee.
00:18:54.420 I mean, Senator, to be very clear with the American people, the Treasury Secretary of the United States of America, Janet Yellen, said on Capitol Hill on Thursday, Biden doesn't actually have a plan for Social Security.
00:19:07.700 But he's got principles and that should be good enough for all of us.
00:19:11.540 Well, look, on one level, it's remarkable that Yellen was that candid, but she wasn't entirely honest because he does have a plan for Social Security.
00:19:19.620 His plan is to demagogue the heck out of it, to attack Republicans, to say Republicans want to bankrupt Social Security.
00:19:26.060 Republicans want to destroy Social Security.
00:19:28.380 Mind you, it's a total lie.
00:19:29.700 He knows it's a total lie.
00:19:31.080 But it doesn't matter.
00:19:33.600 The Democrats, rather than address their own radical policies, they're going to scream and yell that Republicans hate old people, Republicans hate women, Republicans hate children, Republicans hate kittens, Republicans hate flowers and sunshine.

00:22:20.700 that show that Donald Trump, who lost Michigan to Joe Biden the last election, he won it in 16,
00:22:26.420 Trump now tops Biden by eight points in a Michigan poll.

00:22:33.380 The president's approval rating in Michigan is at 35%.

00:22:53.420 and the state of Michigan will subsidize you $500 a citizen a month up to a year.
00:22:59.520 So basically, $6,000 is what they're willing to give you to house someone now.

00:23:05.120 The program that Michigan has rolled out, it's called the Newcomer Rental Subsidy,
00:23:09.220 and it's designed to provide shelter outside of state shelters for so-called refugees,
00:23:14.180 and refugees is simply the term they use for illegal aliens.
00:23:17.400 It lasts for up to a year, and according to Michigan, those eligible include refugees, asylees, special immigration visa holders,
00:23:28.580 victims of human trafficking, Cuban entrants, Haitian entrants, Afghan nationals, and Ukrainian humanitarian parolees.
00:23:38.940 So get this, the state of Michigan is quite literally paying individuals, paying homeowners to house illegal immigrants in their house.
00:23:50.500 And by the way, it's not just them.
00:23:52.460 Others who qualify include individuals who arrived under the family reunification parole process for El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Colombia.

00:25:26.120 by meeting housing needs while setting up families for success with increased employment and opportunities.

00:33:46.200 This is a story that the Daily Wire broke, and it's a memo that was sent by the diversity, equity, and inclusion officials

00:33:55.880 And it warns personnel not to use, quote, problematic phrases when discussing Islamic terrorism and foreign adversaries such as China.
00:34:05.500 The unclassified newsletter, and it's from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, is called, quote, The Dive.
00:34:12.860 And it was obtained through Freedom Information Act request by the Daily Wire.
00:34:17.300 It argues in its cover story that the intelligence community needs to focus on, quote,
00:34:23.440 changing terminology related to counterterrorism because, quote, words matter.

00:34:32.780 Quote, the article is about one of our goals, disentangling Islam from words and phrases used to discuss terrorism

00:34:45.100 It goes on to declare that trying to remove, quote,
00:34:50.540 certain phrases to identify international terrorism threats that are hurtful to Muslim Americans.
00:34:58.300 Some of the problematic phrases include, but are not limited to,
00:35:02.620 Salafi jihadist, jihadist, Islamic extremist, Sunni Shia extremism, and radical Islamist.
00:35:12.040 Only in America could you have a memo that someone took this much time and wastes this time under the Biden administration
00:35:19.020 to make people that are directly associated with terrorism feel better about, I guess, what, not being a terrorist?

00:38:26.900 and then apologized to the illegal immigrants for calling that individual, who is the alleged murderer, an illegal immigrant.
