00:02:41.820 Welcome. It is Verdict with Ted Cruz.
00:02:43.980 Week in Review, Ben Ferguson with you.
00:02:46.120 And here are the stories that you may have missed that we talked about this week.
00:02:49.360 First up, we're less than five weeks out from the midterms, and Democrats are making it clear this election they want to be about lawfare, impeaching Donald Trump, and coming after anyone in his orbit.
00:03:00.340 We break it down exactly what they're saying to voters.
00:03:03.620 Up next, what happens after the passage of the massive new college sports bill in the Senate?
00:03:09.520 And will it become law by the end of the year?
00:03:11.680 We'll break that down as well.
00:03:13.280 And finally, there's two very different sides of James Tallarico.
00:03:17.560 He's running for Senate in Texas.
00:03:20.600 The new Tallarico wants you to believe he's meek and mild.
00:03:23.740 But the reality is what he said for years is extreme.
00:03:27.900 And now his own party is calling him out and saying he better do what he used to do if he wins.
00:03:34.100 It's the Week in Review, and it starts right now.
00:03:37.380 All right, Senators, so let's get into this.
00:03:38.900 Five weeks out, I look at these poll numbers, and it's tight.
00:03:42.540 I think you and I have both looked at them,
00:03:44.460 And it's not exactly where anyone was hoping on the conservative side of things we would be at this moment in time going into the midterms.
00:03:50.860 But there's also this new kind of mantra coming from the left, which is, hey, if we get power, we will go after Donald Trump and impeach him.
00:04:01.060 Also, cabinet members. Also, we'll go after family. We'll go after other conservatives.
00:04:04.960 Like it is pure warfare, lawfare, whatever you want to call it, congressional lawfare yet again. 0.96
00:04:10.920 And that's what now the Democrats are closing argument to the American people is vote for us because we'll go lock people up.
00:04:16.940 Well, that's exactly right, because that's what animates and unifies their party is hatred for Donald Trump.
00:04:23.120 Here, I want you to listen to Representative Ro Khanna, a Democrat, very, very wealthy tech Democrat, used to portray himself as moderate, but now is running hard, hard left because he's got presidential ambitions.
00:04:34.380 I want to listen. Listen to him being asked if it's true that that their objective is just impeach Trump.
00:04:41.760 Listen, is impeaching President Trump a third time a mistake for Democrats?
00:04:48.680 No, it's not because it's not about Donald Trump. 0.96
00:04:51.340 He's going to be a lame duck and in my view, largely increasingly irrelevant. 0.96
00:04:57.200 The point is to stand up for the Constitution. 0.82
00:05:00.000 impeachment says that you can't get into an illegal war in iran without constitutional
00:05:06.440 approval impeachment says that you can't just start firing federal employees when uh in defiance
00:05:13.320 of what congress says impeachment says you can't do deals with foreign governments uh to allegedly
00:05:19.140 enrich your own family it's about setting a standard and the democrats can impeach to to
00:05:25.420 uphold constitutional values and at the same time have a first hundred day agenda that deals with
00:05:30.460 the cost of living notice it's it's not really about you it's about it's about warfare and
00:05:37.160 political warfare and oh absolutely we're going to go down this road yeah then we'll get to the
00:05:40.580 economy and other things later but really this is about attacking anyone that helped trump and
00:05:44.420 trump and his cabinet so no one will want to serve their country look trump derangement syndrome is
00:05:49.960 alive and well they are animated their their sole goal in life it seems is hatred of trump
00:05:55.380 But actually, that's not true. They also want radical policies that would destroy America.
00:06:00.580 Here, I want you to listen to Democrat Tom Swoozie, who is another one who pretends he's a moderate.
00:06:05.200 But listen to what he says his number one objective is if Democrats take power.
00:06:11.380 My number one issue is to try and get a resolution on immigration.
00:06:18.740 My biggest desire, my biggest goal of what I want to accomplish in politics right now
00:06:24.220 is I want to legalize seven or eight or nine or 10 million people in our country
00:06:29.880 so they will not be subject to deportation.
00:06:33.560 Well, at least they're being honest about it.
00:06:35.460 Hey, Americans, you're not our priority. 1.00
00:06:37.820 Illegal immigrants, you are our priority. 1.00
00:06:40.640 And just understand, if you're an American suffering right now, we don't really care. 1.00
00:06:44.700 If you're someone that has issues and you have a U.S. passport, we don't really care.
00:06:50.480 It's the illegals that we're here to protect and defend and to honor first and foremost.
00:06:55.260 Now, look, this is striking because Tom Swoosey is in a potential swing district in New York,
00:07:00.460 and he's echoing the very same message that you remember Chris Murphy a year or two said on TV,
00:07:06.180 and it was widely perceived as a gaffe.
00:07:08.420 But listen to Chris Murphy on MSNBC explaining what his number one priority is.
00:07:13.580 the negotiation didn't have a path to citizenship it was entirely on their terms in order to get
00:07:20.920 ukraine fun right well i mean chris that's been a failed play for 20 years so you are right that
00:07:28.300 that has been the democratic strategy for 30 years maybe uh and it has failed to deliver
00:07:34.580 for the people we care about most the undocumented americans that are in this country
00:07:40.360 well there you heard it uh chris murphy in his own words he describes he's speaking about
00:07:46.580 democrats as a party he describes quote the people we care about most and then he calls them
00:07:53.340 the undocumented americans by which he means illegal immigrants and and and he's not he's
00:07:58.780 not saying they care about him he said they are the people they care about most illegal immigrants
00:08:03.640 they care about it more than you more than u.s citizens more than your kids that's why democrat
00:08:08.680 Tom Swoozie is saying his biggest goal, his number one goal, is to grant amnesty to seven or eight or
00:08:16.560 nine or ten million people in our country. That's their number one goal. It is to attack President
00:08:22.180 Trump, and it is to fight for illegal immigrants. That's their priority. And it's one of the reasons 0.99
00:08:27.960 why, as lousy as the poll numbers are looking for Republicans right now, Democrats have a problem
00:08:34.980 too. Listen to Mark Kelly getting confronted with this on ABC. That is that only 34% of people think
00:08:41.940 the Democratic Party cares about people like them. What does that tell you? What do you do about it
00:08:50.160 if people just aren't feeling it from the Democrats, if you're sort of a default or people
00:08:54.860 stay away from the race? Well, I'll tell you what I'm doing about it. I've been traveling across the
00:09:00.000 country uh basically non-stop for the last six months i've been in new hampshire and ohio kansas
00:09:07.820 missouri iowa georgia south carolina meeting with people i've also been all over arizona i was just
00:09:14.280 up on the navajo nation a couple weeks ago for the navajo parade and just talking to people and
00:09:21.040 trying to understand their challenges in their homes in their schools in their communities
00:09:27.300 you listen to that and it's just truly not about americans first at all well and and when even abc
00:09:36.220 is going at and pointing out that the poll numbers show that only 34 percent of americans
00:09:41.680 think democrats care about quote people like them and there's a reason for that the democrats are
00:09:48.500 telling you who they care about the people they care about most are illegal immigrants look if 0.90
00:09:53.460 you're an illegal immigrant, I guess that should make you really happy. That's your party. That's 0.97
00:09:57.340 who they're fighting for. You know, he also left out gangbangers and criminals and murderers and
00:10:04.500 child molesters and rapists. And that clearly is who they care about most as well, because when
00:10:09.060 they get in power, that's who they let go. That's who they refuse to arrest. That's who they empty
00:10:13.800 the jails from. That's who they release into the communities. So they care about attacking Trump. 0.97
00:10:19.460 they care about illegal immigrants, they care about criminals, but they also fundamentally 0.90
00:10:26.140 care about this is the Green-Red Alliance, this is communism and Islamism coming together. 0.91
00:10:32.360 And to be clear, that is not limited to Manhattan. It is not just Comrade Mondami in New York. 0.89
00:10:38.740 They plan to bring this to your neighborhood, to your town, to your state. They plan to bring it
00:10:43.760 to the whole country. Listen to Comrade Mondami talking about socialism for all of America.
00:10:49.460 The thing is, other Democrats are concerned. Not everybody believes that America is ready on a national level to necessarily elect people who are on the left. Will it translate on a national level? And will the midterms not just be a referendum on Trump, but a referendum on the democratic socialists of America?
00:11:12.080 I think this will absolutely translate on a national level.
00:11:15.080 And the reason that I believe that is, while we are an exceptional city,
00:11:18.520 as the greatest city in the world, we also know that the struggles that New Yorkers are facing
00:11:22.520 are the struggles that working class Americans are facing across the country.
00:11:26.280 I often say that there's only one majority in this country.
00:11:28.760 It's the working class and their inability to afford housing, child care, even public transit.
00:11:34.640 That is something that goes beyond any one city.
00:11:37.520 senator beyond any one city that's his message look this is their nationwide agenda they want
00:11:46.300 to bring socialism to you and by the way what comrade mandami did there is what communists
00:11:51.360 and and and socialists always do which is they say they're fighting for the working man which
00:11:55.560 is what he said but then you look at their policies and their policies always always always
00:12:00.640 hurt the working men and and and if you look at it this is true in communist countries across the
00:12:07.280 world whether the soviet union or china or cuba or venezuela or nicaragua or north korea
00:12:14.740 whenever you have socialism implemented and socialism is the economic system of communism 0.79
00:12:20.540 and these whenever they implement their policies working men and women pay the price they have
00:12:29.280 poverty they have shortages they have their standard of living goes goes down understand
00:12:35.000 the democrats it's ironic he used use the phrase working men because he doesn't actually want
00:12:41.600 people to work he wants to pay people not to work if you're working he wants to tax the hell out of
00:12:46.500 you if you own a small business he wants to destroy your small business and yet this message is is
00:12:52.800 getting real traction brand new polling that came from gallup i'm going to read from from new york
00:12:57.660 post, Americans are embracing socialism at record levels as popularity tops 40% for the first time
00:13:04.780 since 2010. A record number of Americans now have a positive view of socialism, with almost half
00:13:11.060 admitting they embrace the far-left ideology, according to an eye-opening survey. 43% of
00:13:18.540 Americans said they feel optimistic about socialism, the new Gallup poll released Wednesday
00:13:24.440 revealed. It marks the first time this figure has topped 40 percent in Gallup's trend since 2010.
00:13:32.400 At the same time, economic concepts like free enterprise, big business, and capitalism have
00:13:38.140 slipped in public favorability. The surge in popularity was driven, surprisingly, by independence,
00:13:45.180 with 45 percent of this group reporting a positive view of socialism, up from 37 percent last year.
00:13:52.740 Now, that's highly troubling that independence went from 37% thinking socialism was a good idea to 45%.
00:14:00.140 That is a very disturbing movement.
00:14:03.120 Independence view of big business, meanwhile, dipped to a new low of 32%, meaning independence now prefers socialism to big business.
00:14:12.020 However, small businesses, capitalism, and free enterprise are still viewed more positively.
00:14:17.860 the increase in optimism for the far left philosophy is also driven in large part by a
00:14:24.360 sharp uptick among Democrats who say they have a positive view of socialism the result in the
00:14:30.820 Gallup poll showed two-thirds of progressives were in favor 66 percent up from 50 percent in 2010
00:14:39.880 Democrats have been rating socialism more positive that positively than capitalism since 2016
00:14:46.560 and it's now tied with free enterprise at 65 percent. Democrats' favorable rating of capitalism
00:14:54.540 slid seven points in just the past year from 42 percent in 2025 to just 35 percent today
00:15:04.000 according to the survey. Now the one group that's remained consistent Republicans meanwhile have
00:15:08.920 stayed comparatively consistent with large majorities favoring small business, free enterprise
00:15:14.140 and capitalism positively but just 14 expressing a positive view of socialism this is the message
00:15:22.760 that the far left is pushing but understand this is their agenda if they win in november if they 0.92
00:15:30.620 take power they want to bring socialism to you they want to bring amnesty for illegals to you
00:15:36.540 they want to bring violent criminals that they're letting out of jail to you that's what the stakes
00:15:41.980 are in this election now if you want to hear the rest of this conversation you can go back and
00:15:46.760 listen to the full podcast from earlier this week breaking story from alpine news network

00:20:39.020 Now on to story number two.
00:20:41.040 All right, so I want to ask you guys back to the bill.
00:20:43.160 You get it passed, and the big question that so many people are going to ask now is,
00:20:46.880 what happens next?
00:20:48.360 Yes.
00:20:48.780 This is a huge victory.
00:20:49.760 The House is gone.
00:20:50.760 They've got their re-elect.
00:20:51.800 They're back home campaigning.
00:20:53.840 And now people are like, well, is it law?
00:20:55.800 Well, it's passed the Senate.
00:20:56.860 What happens next?
00:20:57.960 Let's explain where that goes from now so people understand.
00:21:00.200 So where we are right now, we had it passed 77 votes in favor.
00:21:04.060 We actually have 78 because Dan Sullivan supports it, but he was still in Alaska, so he didn't vote.
00:21:07.720 So we had 78 senators support it.
00:21:10.260 We got every Republican but two.
00:21:12.660 So it was a massive vote on the Republican side.
00:21:15.440 We got more than half the Democrats.
00:21:17.640 We got a majority of the Democrat caucus, which is insane.
00:21:21.260 Yeah, that never happens.
00:21:21.960 You can't get 77 votes to congratulate Santa Claus at Christmastime.
00:21:26.400 Well, he's a socialist.
00:21:27.900 Why are you congratulating Santa Claus?
00:21:30.060 Like, he's giving away stuff for free.
00:21:32.020 Like, I'm a no on that, Dan.
00:21:34.980 See, to my point, we can't get 77 votes for Santa Claus.
00:21:37.920 He's like, you just made my point.
00:21:39.880 Even Santa Claus can't get these kind of votes.
00:21:43.960 So it goes to the House.
00:21:44.780 So now it goes to the House.
00:21:46.640 Look, here's what I think will happen and what I want to happen.
00:21:49.540 I want the Speaker to call the House back.
00:21:52.920 And you think they will?
00:21:54.160 I think there's a real possibility of it.
00:21:56.320 So they're gone.
00:21:57.700 Right now the House is scheduled to be gone until Election Day, and they're out campaigning
00:22:01.020 because, look, the House is up every two years.
00:22:02.860 They're campaigning.
00:22:04.080 This is a rough election season.
00:22:05.660 That's no secret.
00:22:06.420 So they're out campaigning.
00:22:08.080 I sat down.
00:22:09.440 We had the Republican convention a few weeks ago in Dallas, and so I spent a half hour
00:22:13.700 with the speaker there, and I made the case to him, look, if we get this done, and I think
00:22:18.620 we're going to get a big bipartisan bill.
00:22:20.260 i said and mike is a close friend he's a great american i love the man he's principled he's he's
00:22:26.620 a great human being i said look if we get it done you ought to call the house back and by the way
00:22:31.320 the house can move fast it's not long unlike the senate the house can pass that in a day yeah and
00:22:37.040 i said look there's nothing more productive you can do all your members are running for re-elect
00:22:41.100 then come back pass this bill in 24 hours it polls north of 80 20 yeah and by the way there
00:22:49.980 are millions of people who are college sports fans who don't pay attention to politics it'll go
00:22:54.440 i'll be damned like congress can do something yeah that matters that that actually actually
00:23:00.340 like it pertains to my saturday in my life look i said this is good politics and what i want to see
00:23:06.020 happen and i've suggested this president trump i want to see him sign it and college game on the
00:23:11.880 set of college game day and i actually have suggested a game i actually think a&m alabama
00:23:15.940 would be a great game.
00:23:17.760 It's kind of mid-October.
00:23:18.840 It's the right timing,
00:23:19.580 although I will say A&M's last game.
00:23:22.200 Well, I got another game for you.
00:23:23.500 I got another game for you in early November.
00:23:26.020 Texas at Missouri.
00:23:27.780 That would be a good game to do.
00:23:28.580 Is it before or after election day?
00:23:29.900 It's Saturday after the election.
00:23:31.340 So Cassidy was pitching Texas LSU,
00:23:35.060 which I liked,
00:23:36.140 but it's the week after election day.
00:23:37.920 So I'm like, no, we need it before election day.
00:23:40.400 Yeah, I'm fine with that.
00:23:41.320 If it gets it done, I'm all for it.
00:23:42.920 But if it somehow slips,
00:23:44.120 then we'll do the Texas LSU.
00:23:45.280 I wanted Texas, Ohio state, but we didn't get it done in time.
00:23:47.980 Cause that would have been to have it.
00:23:50.500 Um, but I'll say this bill, I believe we will get it done.
00:23:55.200 Look, does it happen before election day or not?
00:23:57.360 I don't know for sure.
00:23:58.120 I will say last night I spoke with the president.
00:24:01.740 He was elated.
00:24:02.660 Yeah.
00:24:03.260 And, and president Trump wants the house to come back.
00:24:05.860 And let me tell you something.
00:24:06.500 I talked to him too.
00:24:07.360 Yeah.
00:24:07.720 He is not, he is a real sports fan.
00:24:10.600 Like I think some presidents are kind of phony.
00:24:12.800 He loves ball people.
00:24:13.980 Like he loves this.
00:24:14.880 Yeah.
00:24:15.280 He's followed it his whole life.
00:24:17.280 He wants this done.
00:24:19.260 I think that will matter with them.
00:24:20.600 I hope it matters with them.
00:24:22.840 And like Ted said, it's like this is something that they can do like in a day, day and a half.
00:24:27.560 And it'd be a big win.
00:24:28.340 It's a cultural thing.
00:24:29.420 This is not political.
00:24:30.660 People don't want this to be political.
00:24:32.320 They want this to be like, hey, that's their team.
00:24:34.980 It's their region.
00:24:35.800 It's their conference.
00:24:37.040 It's their school.
00:24:38.360 That matters a lot more than like red jersey, blue jersey on this, which is I think the secret sauce for all this.
00:24:43.040 that's how we approached it was pure problems let's go try to solve the problem let's take
00:24:47.420 our passion that we have for sports and let's turn it into legislation that can matter and we
00:24:51.800 did it like we did it in the senate it's not easy to do but we were able to pull it off so ben at
00:24:55.520 every stage the critics thought we had no prayer before we introduced it the critics said there's
00:25:02.080 no chance you can't get bipartisan agreement we introduced it when we introduced it initially we
00:25:06.280 had two democrats two republicans so it was eric and me on the republican side we had maria cantwell
00:25:10.900 who's the ranking member on the Commerce Committee.
00:25:13.380 Democrat from Washington State, 1.00
00:25:14.740 and Maria put an enormous amount of time and energy to this.
00:25:17.820 And then Chris Coons, Democrat from Delaware.
00:25:19.580 So initially it was the four of us, two Ds, two Rs.
00:25:22.440 People were shocked.
00:25:23.420 Like when we introduced it, they're like,
00:25:24.860 wait, these guys came together and did this?
00:25:27.280 Then we had the markup in the Commerce Committee.
00:25:30.160 And early on, the SEC and Big Ten were opposed to this.
00:25:33.560 And they were actively and vigorously lobbying against it.
00:25:36.280 And they're the two most powerful conferences.
00:25:38.760 They get 70% of the eyeballs.
00:25:40.420 both eric and i care deeply about the sec because they matter a lot to our state so it took some
00:25:45.740 courage for us to stand up and like say hold on a second yeah and all the critics said okay sec
00:25:51.680 and big ten are lobbying against this you're done this is going nowhere it fails in the commerce
00:25:56.120 committee or maybe it's a party line vote we end up voting it out 19 to 9 yeah 70 of the committee
00:26:03.480 vote that was the pay attention moment that was a moment and it ended up i mean we negotiated with
00:26:08.920 the SEC and Big Ten, and we brought them on board. So they're supporting it now. And look,
00:26:13.360 Greg Sankey, Tony Petiti, the commissioners, they're good guys. I know them well. Both Eric
00:26:18.460 and I spent a ton of time with them. We made some concessions. We got them on board. The whole
00:26:23.380 process of this bill was growing the coalition, growing and expanding it. When we went to the
00:26:29.560 Senate floor this week, I mean, there were a lot of skeptics. And to see the votes, and we had,
00:26:34.360 by the way a bunch of amendments and we ended up building and building in the coalition that that
00:26:40.800 is a powerful thing and i would say for most people they probably think that's how the center
00:26:47.440 senate operates all the time that is not it doesn't happen most of it's kabuki theater
00:26:53.000 yeah most of it's whatever it was like it was like wouldn't it be nice if it happened like this
00:26:57.160 right but it was actually legislating because you didn't have some of the same constraints that you
00:27:01.600 would normally have on something you listened to people when we did and you figured out
00:27:06.840 adopted amendments that got people on board exactly and that's kind of how it's supposed
00:27:10.240 to work on something like this and i will tell you something ben eric was hugely helpful it
00:27:15.080 was interesting eric and and maria and chris kind of everyone was lobbying different people and we
00:27:20.620 had sort of a team and look with 100 senators you got a lot of people so eric spent a lot of time
00:27:24.620 and we had this vote that was unhappy this vote was unhappy and so he was out negotiating we did
00:27:29.840 I hosted a party for the four senators who led this and for the staff,
00:27:35.100 and I gave bottles of scotch to everyone.
00:27:37.120 That's awesome.
00:27:37.500 I mean, it was a celebration of like, I will say.
00:27:41.060 It's your dream of coming to the Senate and how it's supposed to work.
00:27:43.860 And this was the most complicated thing I've ever negotiated. 0.96
00:27:48.180 Listen, this makes Middle East peace seem simple.
00:27:51.400 And by the way, people care less about Middle East peace than they care about college football.
00:27:55.520 Well, let me say two things.
00:27:58.080 One, congrats.
00:27:59.320 What a fun week.
00:28:00.200 Two, it was fun to watch.
00:28:01.300 Three, we get to now see what happens on the house side.
00:28:04.200 And it's going to be really fun.
00:28:05.640 And for everybody that's watching right now, don't forget.
00:28:08.080 Ben, close by telling the story of when the baseball team and the tennis team at Ole Miss went to, was it batting practice?
00:28:14.700 We went to batting practice.
00:28:15.540 So when I was at Ole Miss, the teams would trade off and you would play.
00:28:18.740 We played the baseball team and then smoked them in tennis.
00:28:20.960 They were terrible.
00:28:21.660 And then they went and said, well, you're going to come to batting practice.
00:28:24.020 Well, we all had high hand quarters.
00:28:25.080 Yeah, sure.
00:28:25.480 We had balls hitting at 120 on the concrete, and you're hitting it back.
00:28:28.980 And we were just hitting dingers off the machine because it was just pure straight.
00:28:31.900 And then one of the guys on the team, the coach, tried to actually recruit.
00:28:34.800 And our coach was in his face, you're not touching my tennis guys.
00:28:37.280 You're not touching them.
00:28:38.220 But it was so much fun because they're like, how do you guys do that?
00:28:40.060 I'm like, guys, we are used to hitting a ball that's bouncing at 120.
00:28:43.240 It's coming straight every time in the same place.
00:28:45.620 You can get bat on ball really fast.
00:28:47.260 It was fun.
00:28:47.780 That's cool.
00:28:48.260 Yeah, we beat those guys well.
00:28:49.640 You told a more pro tennis story this time than last time.
00:28:53.400 Well, I mean, we did.
00:28:54.740 It's like Eric's couch story.
00:28:56.720 It's getting better, Ben.
00:28:58.140 It's getting better, yeah.
00:28:59.200 The last time I heard the story, you said, wow, a fastball comes fast.
00:29:03.400 Did I tell you the catch probability in that game is 5%.
00:29:08.240 5% by golly.
00:29:09.960 As before, if you want to hear the rest of this conversation on this topic,
00:29:14.060 you can go back and download the podcast from earlier this week
00:29:16.960 to hear the entire thing.

00:33:58.540 Listen to the NFL Report podcast on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
00:34:06.040 I want to get back to the big story number three of the week you may have missed.
00:34:10.260 Senator, I want to go back to one of the things that you guys did, and that was to go to the
00:34:15.260 Peterbilt plant. This was part of laying out, I think, really the record of this president and
00:34:21.260 what we need in this country, what we need more of, especially in the race that he was certainly
00:34:26.480 in Texas to deal with. And that was a Tallarico race. So, yeah, we arrived at the Peterbilt 0.97
00:34:32.300 factory and I've been to the Peterbilt factory before. I've toured it years ago. I toured it
00:34:36.880 and it is an amazing place.
00:34:39.300 Have you ever seen an 18-wheeler being built?
00:34:41.820 No, I have not.
00:34:42.980 Okay, it is so cool.
00:34:44.580 And they have a big, long assembly line
00:34:47.520 and these big, massive, badass trucks they're building.
00:34:51.460 Yeah.
00:34:51.860 How many trucks do you think they build in a day?
00:34:54.220 Oh, gosh.
00:34:54.900 I mean, I'm going to go out with 10.
00:34:58.120 They build 200 18-wheelers a day.
00:35:01.320 A day.
00:35:01.840 A day.
00:35:02.660 Wow.
00:35:02.840 I mean, it just, they crank them through.
00:35:04.320 So there's a need for 200?
00:35:06.060 is that in america or just around the world that's in america no no they're selling these
00:35:09.900 in america they make them there and i mean these are you know big monster yeah you know they're
00:35:14.500 huge you know the peter belts and and and they were very cool and the workers there i i gotta
00:35:19.860 say that the workers there they love trump and so we started by he's visiting with a number of
00:35:25.760 workers and shaking their hands and i'm visiting with them and and look those are my peeps i have
00:35:30.120 like, like, like that's his base and my base have a very strong overlap. Yeah. Uh, but you know,
00:35:36.540 they're thrilled to meet him and they're shaking his hand. Uh, and then I actually several times
00:35:40.880 said, here, give me your phone. And I would take a picture of them with, with the president on
00:35:44.240 their phone, which, which made them really happy. Uh, but watching the love that, that those
00:35:51.280 factory workers have for the president is really amazing. We were there with the CEO.
00:35:57.180 The CEO said that the plant was booming, that they were having their best year because of the president's economic policies.
00:36:04.500 And look, the president's whole message at the rally was we have incredible economic numbers and the media is lying to the voters and telling everyone the economy is lousy.
00:36:15.800 And you and I have covered on this podcast.
00:36:17.460 Look, just this last month, the data came out that we have right now the highest family income ever recorded.
00:36:27.260 Median income is the highest it's ever been recorded in the history of America.
00:36:31.140 We also have the lowest poverty rate that has ever been recorded in the history of America.
00:36:38.340 that includes the lowest African-American poverty rate, the lowest Hispanic poverty rate,
00:36:44.340 and the lowest Native American poverty rate ever recorded in the history of the country. And the
00:36:48.980 media doesn't talk about any of that. They don't want you to know any of that. And so the president
00:36:52.780 is frustrated. He's visibly frustrated. He was venting on Air Force One. And at the rally,
00:36:58.020 he's speaking to the rally and he's saying, look, you look at these numbers, we're doing
00:37:01.400 really, really well. But the media is trying to convince people, well, it's terrible. It's
00:37:08.280 terrible affordability, and they say gas prices, and the president rightly pointed out, yes, gas 1.00
00:37:13.240 prices are higher because we're taking out an Ayatollah and stopping Iran from getting a nuclear
00:37:19.180 weapon, but gas prices are still a lot lower than they were under Joe Biden, and he made that point, 0.96
00:37:24.660 and that point is right. So that was really important for him to make, and then he was also,
00:37:31.120 Ken Paxton was there at the rally, and Ken got a good chair, and he was urging people, you got to
00:37:35.600 come out and vote for Ken Paxton. He was giving Ken a lot of love. He was also, you know, he was
00:37:43.040 also emphasizing, look, Tallarico is extreme. This guy is radical and he would be incredibly
00:37:52.200 dangerous. And I think that is valuable for people to know just how far out of step from
00:37:58.080 the mainstream Tallarico is that he is a left-wing radical. Yeah. Yeah. Not only is he a left-wing
00:38:04.100 radical, but this race has obviously caught the attention of a lot of Democratic donors. A lot of
00:38:08.780 his money's coming in from out of state, and that's what's funny. And by the way, there's a
00:38:12.880 trend there as well, and that's one of the reasons why this race has gotten so expensive. 0.98
00:38:16.940 Yeah, no, no. I mean, it has been a massively expensive race, and Tallarico has money flooding
00:38:22.720 in from New York, from California, from Hollywood. They want to elect a woke left-wing radical from
00:38:30.800 Texas in particular. And by the way, to understand who he is, look, we've talked a lot about Hassan
00:38:35.620 Piker, the radical, Islamist, communist, America-hating zealot. You know, the guy who says,
00:38:42.800 among other things, America deserved 9-11. Hassan Piker has become, Abdul Al-Sayed does not win
00:38:50.480 his primary without campaigning alongside Hassan Piker. The Democrats are not running away from
00:38:56.000 this guy well piker was in texas this past week and and he had a message for talarico and all of
00:39:02.080 his supporters give a listen to what hassan piker said about james talarico hopefully inshallah
00:39:08.480 after james talarico wins okay yeah after i'm not allowed i feel like i shouldn't even say that i
00:39:16.220 feel like in the state of texas no sharia state they're gonna they're gonna throw me in prison
00:39:20.680 um but yeah hopefully after uh james tellerick wins we got to hold him to account we got to make
00:39:27.840 sure that he doesn't become another do nothing democrat business as usual and we got to keep up
00:39:34.600 that pressure uh and and we have to remind him that we are the force that backed him both early
00:39:41.820 on and we are the force that allowed him to win this seat of power and if he wants to maintain it
00:39:48.000 he's got to play ball if he wants to maintain it senator he's just got to play ball
00:39:52.680 well look Hassan Piker I'm going to give him credit for being honest there I mean he starts
00:39:57.440 by saying hopefully inshallah James Tallarica wins now inshallah is Arabic for if God is willing
00:40:05.040 and and Piker is an open Islamist and and and he is he is saying the Islamists the radicals
00:40:13.040 they're the ones who who elected James Tallarico they're the ones who helped him win the primary
00:40:19.840 they're the ones who put him in power and he they will he will owe them if he's elected that tells
00:40:26.000 you where this guy is I mean Piker understands this is our guy and and Tallarico and Abdul Al-Sayed
00:40:32.340 are the two most radical senate candidates in the country and Piker is critical to both of them by
00:40:39.140 the way, I don't think there's any chance that Tallarica would forget where he comes from,
00:40:44.660 because he's a true believer. He believes this nonsense. I mean, he was really raised and grew
00:40:51.780 up in this sort of woke DEI, social justice warrior nonsense. And now that he's running,
00:40:59.400 he's trying to pretend to moderate, but he's lying and he's not very good at it. So he keeps
00:41:04.580 getting caught lying. So he went on Fox News and he said now he no longer supports mutilating and
00:41:13.540 sterilizing kids who think they're transgender. He no longer supports that. He's abandoned that
00:41:17.940 position because, you know, it turns out Texans don't like mutilating and sterilizing kids. 0.99
00:41:24.760 Except for one problem. Well, two problems. One, Tallarico has a long record of voting for that
00:41:29.620 over and over again, so that's his long-standing position, but two, he was actually caught on
00:41:35.180 camera admitting that his position hasn't changed, so give a listen. This is an undercover
00:41:38.900 camera that caught him admitting that he's lying when he says he no longer wants to sterilize kids.
00:41:44.920 Give a listen.
00:41:49.920 Nice to see you. Thank you for being here. I'm so glad you came.
00:41:53.640 So, I'm just so happy that you're running and everything you do for our country and everyone feel included.
00:42:02.980 I really think I have a nation's chance.
00:42:05.300 I want to let her know that our government here, sir, can I count on you to support her?
00:42:10.580 Always.
00:42:10.880 If she's not able to participate in the sport.
00:42:12.600 Yes. The way I fought for trans kids in the legislature is how I will fight for the U.S. Senate.
00:42:18.040 And my position hasn't changed.
00:42:19.420 I still think we should be local decision, sport by sport, athlete by athlete.
00:42:24.660 And I think I have the most inclusive policy of any candidate who's running.
00:42:28.320 I agree.
00:42:28.940 I know things are getting clipped and stuff, but my views, my position hasn't changed.
00:42:33.100 And I'm going to have your loved ones back.
00:42:36.620 Okay?
00:42:37.060 Thank you so much.
00:42:38.160 Thank you.
00:42:38.620 God bless you.
00:42:39.280 God bless you.
00:42:40.540 Thank you.
00:42:41.100 Thank you.
00:42:44.280 Senator, there it is.
00:42:45.220 My views haven't changed at all.
00:42:46.500 So when he went on Fox News Channel with the mea culpa, that was that was a lie, right?
00:42:50.520 That was just all a big lie. He was flat out lying.
00:42:52.480 And by the way, this undercover camera was on September 13th.
00:42:55.460 So that was just a couple of weeks ago that he was caught in camera saying, oh, no, no, no.
00:42:58.600 My views haven't changed. I'm still for operating and sterilizing kids. 0.96
00:43:04.460 And I'm still for boys and girls sports and men, men and women's sports.
00:43:07.880 I mean, that's what he's urging. Nothing has changed.
00:43:10.660 I'm just having to lie to the voters because I think I can dupe them.
00:43:13.680 You know, there also is footage showing one of his field organizers talking about how Tallarico's views are much more anti-Israel than he's admitted publicly.
00:43:27.920 Give a listen to this radical field organizer working for Tallarico.
00:43:32.920 person is also a Marxist, but works for the campaign. I completely understand. Most of
00:43:41.780 my co-workers are also that part. So we get it. It's more so the thing of like, I guess
00:43:48.520 like a vehicle, kind of, because we're trying to lift this right seat. So basically he stands
00:43:55.180 I'm just glad she's wearing the Tallarico shirt at the campaign headquarters
00:44:14.240 and is saying, we're a bunch of Marxists.
00:44:16.540 Yeah, I mean, that is her position.
00:44:18.640 She's saying he is too, but we have a chance to fool the voters.
00:44:22.420 and don't worry he hates Israel every bit as much as you do uh he also told the other voter he he's
00:44:29.980 he's for sterilizing kids every bit as much as they are this is who that guy is and that's not
