00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.
00:00:02.660 Guaranteed human.
00:00:05.680 Welcome. It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you.
00:00:09.240 We've got a lot to unpack on the show that includes who was lying to us,
00:00:13.620 Russia or the President of the United States of America on the Nord Stream pipeline
00:00:16.820 and who blew it up.
00:00:18.280 Also, the FBI Director Wray could be held in contempt of Congress.
00:00:21.820 What does that mean?
00:00:22.920 And the Southern Poverty Law Center coming after good conservative Christian Americans yet again.
00:00:28.500 Senator, let's first start with the shocking news on the Nord Stream pipeline.
00:00:33.560 This seems to be a major change in the White House's position.
00:00:40.160 Despite, we now know, they were briefed back in June of 2022
00:00:45.020 that apparently, and this is coming from the CIA,
00:00:49.000 that Ukraine was planning and even practicing to blow up the Nord Stream pipeline.
00:00:56.240 Biden, if you fast forward from June to September of 2022,
00:01:02.060 he came out and said this after that pipeline was exploded.
00:01:06.340 Quote, let me say this.
00:01:07.680 It was a deliberate act of sabotage,
00:01:09.520 and now the Russians are pumping out disinformation and lies.
00:01:14.100 The President went on to say,
00:01:15.300 we'll work with our allies to get to the bottom of exactly what happened,
00:01:18.620 precisely what happened.
00:01:20.520 At my direction, I've already begun to help our allies enhance the protection
00:01:24.380 of this critical infrastructure.
00:01:27.200 And then, Senator, he said this.
00:01:29.440 Quote,
00:01:30.200 And at the appropriate moment when things calm down,
00:01:32.860 we're going to send the divers down to find out exactly what happened.
00:01:37.300 We don't know what yet.
00:01:39.000 We don't know exactly, but just don't listen to what Putin's saying
00:01:44.060 because he's saying we know it's not true.
00:01:48.580 Now, I think he was trying to say because what he was saying we know is not true.
00:01:52.120 Senator, you hear this now,
00:01:54.140 and if you look at the headline coming from the liberal Washington Post,
00:01:58.240 Biden blamed Russia for the Nord Stream pipeline attack
00:02:00.860 despite the CIA being briefed earlier on a Ukrainian plot
00:02:05.120 to do exactly that, blow it up.
00:02:06.800 Your reaction?
00:02:07.440 Well, today's story in the Washington Post is a big deal.
00:02:11.500 And let's step back for a minute.
00:02:13.220 On this podcast, we've walked through at great length
00:02:15.580 what caused the war in Ukraine.
00:02:18.800 There are many things that are frustrating about this war,
00:02:21.480 but the most fundamental is that it was utterly preventable.
00:02:25.120 This war did not have to happen,
00:02:27.280 and it was caused by Biden's weakness
00:02:30.760 and his complete capitulation to Russia.
00:02:34.560 And to retread a little bit,
00:02:38.020 but this is important to understand why this story in the Post is significant.
00:02:43.840 Putin has long wanted to invade Ukraine.
00:02:47.620 He wants to reassemble the old Soviet Union. 0.62
00:02:51.020 He longs for the days of what he perceives as Soviet greatness.
00:02:55.120 If you're going to reassemble the old Soviet Union, Ukraine is the most important piece of it. 0.98
00:03:00.420 And Putin previously invaded Ukraine.
00:03:03.880 In 2014, he invaded Ukraine, invaded Crimea, which is the southern portion of Ukraine.
00:03:09.640 But he stopped because Russia's primary source of revenue is selling oil and natural gas,
00:03:17.580 and the natural gas pipelines run right through the middle of Ukraine.
00:03:21.220 And if he invaded the whole country, he risked damaging or destroying those pipelines.
00:03:27.020 So the next year, in 2015, he launched the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
00:03:31.280 Nord Stream 2 is an undersea pipeline underneath the Baltic Sea
00:03:35.100 that runs directly from Russia to Germany.
00:03:39.420 The entire purpose of it was to circumvent Ukraine 0.96
00:03:42.620 so that when the pipeline became complete and active,
00:03:47.240 Russia could invade Ukraine and not worry about the pipelines 0.97
00:03:50.380 because it could get its natural gas to market.
00:03:53.980 As you know, in 2019, I authored sanctions legislation that shut the Nord Stream 2 pipeline down.
00:04:00.380 Putin halted construction of the pipeline literally the day
00:04:04.940 Donald Trump signed my sanctions legislation into law.
00:04:09.160 For over a year, from December 2019 to January of 2021,
00:04:15.140 the pipeline was dead and dormant and nothing happened
00:04:19.080 because the sanctions legislation that I authored and Trump signed had stopped it.
00:04:24.660 Joe Biden became president on January 20th, 2021.
00:04:28.080 Four days later, January 24th, Putin resumed deep-sea construction of Nord Stream 2
00:04:35.260 because Biden had foreshadowed incredible weakness that he was going to give into Russia.
00:04:42.620 That foreshadowing proved accurate. 0.98
00:04:45.080 Several months later, Biden formally waived sanctions on Nord Stream 2,
00:04:49.820 gave Putin a multi-billion-dollar gift.
00:04:53.680 Fast forward to January of 2022, I force a vote on the Senate floor to reimpose sanctions
00:05:00.940 on Nord Stream 2.
00:05:03.180 Every Democrat had voted with me twice to impose those sanctions.
00:05:07.680 On the day of the vote, Biden, for the first time in his presidency, came to Capitol Hill
00:05:13.440 and personally lobbied Democrat senators to vote against my sanctions legislation,
00:05:20.960 to vote in favor of Russia, in favor of Putin, and 44 Democrats flipped their votes.
00:05:27.560 They'd voted with me twice, but at Biden's behest, they put partisan politics
00:05:33.300 above U.S. national security, above standing with our allies.
00:05:37.760 Now, when that vote was pending, President Zelensky of Ukraine publicly begged the Senate,
00:05:43.500 pass Cruz's sanctions legislation.
00:05:46.900 It's the only way to stop Russia from invading Ukraine. 0.54
00:05:50.260 The government of Poland put out a formal statement, said,
00:05:54.020 pass Cruz's sanctions legislation.
00:05:56.820 Without it, Russia will invade Ukraine. 0.76
00:05:59.240 The Democrats flipped.
00:06:01.280 The legislation failed.
00:06:03.000 And just a few weeks later, Russia invaded Ukraine.
00:06:06.260 Fast forward.
00:06:09.260 We've now had the biggest land war in Europe since World War II, waging for over a year.
00:06:14.720 Biden was so weak to Russia, he capitulated to Russia.
00:06:18.160 He allowed Putin to complete Nord Stream 2.
00:06:21.480 And the result was exactly what Zelensky predicted, exactly what Poland predicted, 0.72
00:06:25.980 exactly what I predicted on the Senate floor.
00:06:28.620 Russia invaded Ukraine.
00:06:30.580 Now, several months ago, as we know,
00:06:33.920 the Nord Stream 2 pipeline was blown up.
00:06:37.820 That was a big deal.
00:06:38.960 This was a pipeline Biden had allowed Putin to complete.
00:06:42.140 And when it exploded with undersea munitions,
00:06:45.480 the Biden White House had a spin and their foreign policy talkers had a spin.
00:06:51.020 They said, Russia blew it up.
00:06:54.060 Now, I got to admit, Ben,
00:06:55.200 I always found that a weird talking point.
00:06:59.760 Sure. 1.00
00:07:00.980 Look, Putin's number one priority was to build the damn pipeline 0.99
00:07:04.140 in order to enable him to invade Ukraine. 0.99
00:07:08.040 Why would Putin blow up his own pipeline,
00:07:11.660 which is what gave him the ability to engage in the war
00:07:16.280 to reestablish and recreate the Soviet Union? 1.00
00:07:19.540 I always found that crap. 0.99
00:07:20.960 So, the alternative hypothesis was that the United States blew it up. 0.98
00:07:29.600 Seymour Hersh, who is a journalist who has done some good work,
00:07:34.440 but he engages in a lot of fantastical work
00:07:36.960 that has very questionable moorings to reality.
00:07:43.140 He wrote a long article arguing the United States blew it up.
00:07:46.260 I have to admit, I read Hersh's article,
00:07:48.380 and I was pretty skeptical of it.
00:07:50.460 And I was skeptical of it mostly because the Biden administration
00:07:54.000 lacks the spinal fortitude to do it. 0.99
00:07:57.700 It may well be in the United States' interest to blow the damn thing up, 0.99
00:08:01.880 but I didn't believe Joe Biden had the guts to give that order. 0.98
00:08:06.900 So, the Biden administration was saying Russia did it.
00:08:11.220 That always struck me as baloney.
00:08:13.360 Other people were saying maybe the United States did it.
00:08:16.160 That actually struck me as baloney as well.
00:08:18.380 I just don't believe Biden would be willing to do that.
00:08:22.260 My view from the day it happened is I said,
00:08:25.500 look, who benefits from this?
00:08:27.860 This is always a good analysis on foreign policy to ask who benefits.
00:08:32.120 The obvious player that benefits is Ukraine. 0.85
00:08:36.660 And so, my view on the day this happened is
00:08:38.920 the obvious player to have done this is Ukraine,
00:08:42.660 if, if, if, and this is a big if,
00:08:44.460 if they have the technological capability to do it.
00:08:48.580 And what I didn't know, and I don't know today,
00:08:51.140 is whether Ukraine had the ability to go nearly 300 feet underwater
00:08:57.520 and blow up that pipeline.
00:08:58.760 If they did,
00:08:59.840 it's a no-brainer that blowing up Nord Stream 2 benefits Ukraine 1.00
00:09:03.880 and hurts Russia.
00:09:05.340 This story in the Washington Post yesterday asserts that the CIA,
00:09:11.720 the Biden CIA had credible intelligence,
00:09:14.020 that Ukraine blew up the pipeline.
00:09:17.220 I don't know if that's true.
00:09:18.700 And I'm going to readily say I've had lots and lots of classified briefings
00:09:22.600 on lots and lots of topics.
00:09:23.840 I have had zero classified briefings with information on this question.
00:09:28.200 So, I don't have any specialized information on who blew it up,
00:09:33.720 whether it was Russia, whether it was Ukraine,
00:09:36.120 whether it was the United States, or whether it was someone else.
00:09:38.040 I don't know.
00:09:39.500 But I've read this Washington Post article,
00:09:41.680 and I know the incentives and who benefits.
00:09:46.120 And it strikes me as utterly plausible that Ukraine did this with the caveat
00:09:52.740 that I don't know if they had the technological sophistication to do it.
00:09:56.180 But if they did it, if they did have that capability,
00:09:59.580 I absolutely believe Ukraine would do it and would benefit from doing it.
00:10:04.140 And if that is true,
00:10:06.420 it means Joe Biden and the Biden White House lied to America over and over again
00:10:11.760 from the moment this happened.
00:10:13.280 Yeah, I want to ask you about the lies,
00:10:15.460 because the article, and this is the Washington Post,
00:10:18.180 that's implying that basically the President of the United States of America
00:10:21.220 willfully lied to the American people,
00:10:23.400 may have helped spur this war to get even bigger
00:10:27.040 while we were backing Ukraine.
00:10:29.180 And before we get into the politics of that,
00:10:31.040 I want to tell you real quick about our friends over at Patriot Mobile.
00:10:33.400 If you are sick and tired of giving your money to woke companies, 0.95
00:10:38.100 we have seen what woke companies have been doing recently.
00:10:40.660 We've seen what's happened at Target.
00:10:42.840 We've seen what's happened with Disney.
00:10:45.000 The list is now Bud Light going on and on.
00:10:47.860 And if you are like me, where you're just fed up with it,
00:10:50.160 and you want to give your money to companies that actually stand for your values,
00:10:53.720 then you need to switch your cell phone to Patriot Mobile.
00:10:57.520 For years, big mobile companies have been dumping millions and millions of dollars
00:11:01.180 into leftist causes, and we had to deal with it because there wasn't another option.
00:11:05.440 Now there is.
00:11:06.820 Patriot Mobile is America's only Christian conservative wireless provider,
00:11:10.880 offering dependable nationwide coverage on all three major networks.
00:11:15.160 So you get the best possible service in your area without the woke propaganda pushed by leftists
00:11:20.180 working hard to destroy this country.

00:11:52.280 That's 878-PATRIOT.
00:11:54.960 Or PatriotMobile.com slash verdict.
00:11:59.000 Senator, you look at the Washington Post and what they reported.
00:12:03.480 They said, based on Pentagon documents, allegedly leaked onto Discord,
00:12:08.140 a European nation briefed the Biden administration that the Ukrainian military
00:12:12.120 had planned a covert attack on the undersea network using a small team of divers
00:12:16.660 who reported directly to the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
00:12:21.520 Yet the president, knowing this, being briefed on this, told the American people,
00:12:26.360 Russia did this, he blamed Russia for this, and you talked about the lie here.
00:12:31.540 Why would he lie to us?
00:12:33.160 And why would he mislead the American people this way,
00:12:36.800 while also at the same time sending countless American tax dollars to Ukraine?
00:12:43.980 Well, listen, let me be clear.
00:12:45.620 I don't know for a fact that Biden was lying.
00:12:49.000 What I do know is their story never made sense.
00:12:51.500 Why would Putin blow up the pipeline that was integral to the Russian economies
00:12:59.740 being able to sell natural gas to Europe?
00:13:02.260 Why would Putin blow up the pipeline that enabled the invasion of Ukraine?
00:13:09.640 Why would Putin blow up the pipeline that Joe Biden had wrapped in gift wrap
00:13:15.120 and given him as a giant multi-billion dollar present?
00:13:19.260 And that capitulation is what caused the invasion of Ukraine.
00:13:23.700 It never made sense to me.
00:13:25.500 So, you know, I guess you could have some sort of sophisticated psyops
00:13:29.900 that he blows it and blows it up and maybe he figures it
00:13:33.520 weakens Europe's commitment to Ukraine.
00:13:37.740 I just, that seems so attenuated to me.
00:13:41.520 It sounds like baloney.
00:13:42.880 The Post also said that this was, they had a lot of details about the plan,
00:13:48.680 which had not been previously reported until now.
00:13:51.360 They were apparently collected by a European intelligence service.
00:13:54.420 They were shared with the CIA in June of 2022.
00:13:57.020 And they provided some of the most specific evidence to date,
00:13:59.820 linking the government of Ukraine to the eventual attack in the Baltic Sea.
00:14:04.460 Now, if that's true, Senator, and is there new questions that must be asked
00:14:10.100 about American aid going to Ukraine, or does that really have no bearing on that,
00:14:16.000 even if, in fact, they may have done this?
00:14:18.400 Look, I don't think it has bearing at all.
00:14:20.320 And, in fact, if Ukraine blew up the pipeline, I say good on Ukraine. 1.00
00:14:23.980 It's unquestionably in their national security interest it was the right thing to do.
00:14:29.660 To be honest, if Donald Trump were still president,
00:14:32.260 I think he may well have blown up the pipeline.
00:14:35.460 But I don't think the pipeline would have been built,
00:14:38.220 so I don't think he would have had to blow it up.
00:14:40.000 And I don't think there would have been a war on Ukraine.
00:14:41.960 Why?
00:14:43.080 Because, look, rewind to 2017-2018.
00:14:47.320 2017-2018, everyone in Washington said,
00:14:49.760 we can't stop this pipeline.
00:14:51.100 We're hopeless.
00:14:51.900 There's nothing we can do.
00:14:53.160 When I wrote the legislation, it was targeted sanctions legislation.
00:14:56.760 There was a specific company, the All Seas Company,
00:14:59.060 that was building the pipeline. 0.50
00:15:00.520 And I wrote the legislation that would bankrupt the company
00:15:05.420 if it continued building the pipeline even for a minute.
00:15:09.560 Now, amazingly enough, we passed this legislation December of 2019.
00:15:14.780 If you remember what else was happening in December of 2019,
00:15:17.360 the House of Representatives under Nancy Pelosi
00:15:20.320 was impeaching Donald Trump.
00:15:23.620 And not just impeaching Donald Trump,
00:15:25.700 impeaching him for conduct concerning Ukraine.
00:15:30.900 So I'm trying to pass legislation that is integral to Ukraine
00:15:35.260 in the middle of the House impeaching Trump
00:15:38.560 for Ukraine.
00:15:40.400 And I need bipartisan support.
00:15:42.260 To get this passed,
00:15:43.740 I had to get support from the chairman and ranking member,
00:15:47.720 so from the Democrat and Republican,
00:15:49.960 in the Senate Armed Services Committee,
00:15:51.820 in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee,
00:15:53.400 in the Senate Banking Committee,
00:15:54.580 and from Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell.
00:15:56.360 That's eight players in the Senate.
00:15:58.060 And I had to get support from the same eight players in the House
00:16:01.940 in the middle of this political bloodbath
00:16:05.780 over the first Trump impeachment on Ukraine.
00:16:08.860 And so, in hindsight,
00:16:11.080 it remains a friggin' miracle we got it done.
00:16:14.140 To be honest, part of the way I got it done
00:16:16.300 is I didn't mention the word Ukraine at all.
00:16:17.900 I'm like, Ukraine, never heard of it.
00:16:19.160 Don't know what that is.
00:16:19.820 Sorry.
00:16:20.340 This is all about Russia and Germany. 0.90
00:16:22.200 It has nothing to do with Ukraine.
00:16:23.320 Never heard of it at all.
00:16:24.100 Now, we got it done, which remains astonishing.
00:16:28.440 And by the way, I was on the phone repeatedly
00:16:30.960 because it went off course about six times
00:16:34.140 in the course of this negotiation.
00:16:36.120 I was talking to different members
00:16:37.280 and brought it back on course.
00:16:39.700 Now, once it passed,
00:16:42.880 there was a big lobbying effort
00:16:44.640 within the Trump administration
00:16:45.880 from the pro-Nordstream-2 forces
00:16:49.360 that, first of all, wanted the Treasury—
00:16:53.260 well, actually, before that—
00:16:55.180 they wanted the National Security Council
00:16:57.780 to issue a signing statement
00:16:59.840 that would gut the sanctions.
00:17:01.680 And I ended up picking up the phone
00:17:03.600 and calling Trump's national security advisor,
00:17:06.120 Robert O'Brien, who was a good friend of mine.
00:17:08.520 Robert was in the NSC Christmas party at the time.
00:17:12.340 This is December 2019.
00:17:14.440 And I called over.
00:17:15.620 I said, pull Robert out of the Christmas party.
00:17:17.720 I need to talk to him right now.
00:17:19.680 And I told Robert, I said,
00:17:21.080 listen, this legislation is incredibly important.
00:17:24.340 There are forces that are not positive and beneficial
00:17:27.760 that are trying to get the White House
00:17:29.180 to give a signing statement
00:17:31.080 undercutting these sanctions.
00:17:32.260 I said, if y'all do this,
00:17:34.360 I'm going to go to the Senate floor
00:17:36.380 and light you up.
00:17:37.500 Please don't make me do this.
00:17:38.880 I don't want to light you up.
00:17:40.160 You don't want me to light you up.
00:17:42.120 Do the right thing.
00:17:43.300 Let's stand up and stop this.
00:17:44.800 And Robert, to his credit,
00:17:46.800 said, Ted, I got this.
00:17:48.560 It's taken care of.
00:17:49.640 And he quashed the lobbying effort
00:17:51.880 to save the pipeline.
00:17:54.660 There was a second effort.
00:17:56.160 And it was an effort to get the Treasury Department
00:17:58.600 to issue guidance
00:18:00.740 concerning the sanctions
00:18:03.100 that would essentially allow the pipeline
00:18:04.740 to keep being built.
00:18:06.620 Again, it's December.
00:18:08.720 I'm on the phone with Treasury.
00:18:10.380 I'm also texting Mike Pompeo,
00:18:12.160 the Secretary of State.
00:18:13.280 I'm working with the Department of Energy.
00:18:15.260 I'm working with the National Security Council.
00:18:17.000 There was a big interagency battle.
00:18:20.200 Long and short of it is,
00:18:21.500 we won the interagency battle
00:18:23.060 and the people that were trying to get Treasury
00:18:24.720 to gut the sanctions lost.
00:18:27.400 I sent a letter
00:18:28.440 to the CEO of All Seas Corporation,
00:18:31.560 which was the company
00:18:32.220 that was building the pipeline. 0.50
00:18:34.120 And as you know, Ben,
00:18:34.940 I spent a lot of years practicing law.
00:18:37.000 Yeah.
00:18:37.720 Whether as Solicitor General of Texas
00:18:40.360 or in private practice,
00:18:41.460 I've represented a lot of clients.
00:18:42.800 I wrote a letter
00:18:44.560 that was designed,
00:18:46.700 and I'm going to give a technical legal term,
00:18:48.740 to make the CEO's sphincter
00:18:51.740 tighten so tight
00:18:54.200 that he could form coal into diamonds.
00:18:57.920 The letter said,
00:18:59.760 you need to be advised
00:19:01.400 that this legislation,
00:19:02.920 which I drafted,
00:19:04.320 creates sanctions that are immediate,
00:19:07.200 that are non-waivable,
00:19:08.880 and that are fatal,
00:19:11.260 that are designed to destroy your company.
00:19:14.560 And if you care about shareholder value,
00:19:18.240 if you care about your executives,
00:19:19.820 if you care about your employees,
00:19:22.020 you will not continue to build this pipeline
00:19:25.500 for even 60 seconds
00:19:28.240 after the president signs this bill.
00:19:31.220 If you do,
00:19:32.900 you will destroy your company.
00:19:35.180 Now, Trump signed the bill,
00:19:37.140 if I remember correctly,
00:19:38.200 at 7 p.m. on a Thursday night.
00:19:39.940 I was flying home to D.C.
00:19:41.800 7 p.m. on a Thursday night.
00:19:43.300 I landed in D.C.
00:19:44.540 Flying home to Houston, rather,
00:19:45.920 from D.C.
00:19:47.520 7 p.m. on a Thursday night,
00:19:49.820 the company building the pipeline
00:19:51.640 at Putin's direction
00:19:52.820 announces at 6.45 p.m.,
00:19:56.460 15 minutes before,
00:19:58.540 they've immediately halted construction
00:20:00.520 of the pipeline
00:20:01.180 and set sail away.
00:20:03.320 We had stopped this
00:20:05.940 because it was in America's interest
00:20:08.220 to stop this.
00:20:09.680 Biden gave Putin this gift
00:20:12.540 because he didn't have the strength
00:20:14.500 to stand up to Russia 0.90
00:20:16.020 and because he wanted to make nice with Germany.
00:20:19.120 Yeah.
00:20:19.320 And given that weakness,
00:20:21.340 look, I think if this pipeline had been built,
00:20:23.620 I believe Trump would have bombed the hell out of it.
00:20:26.000 I think Trump would have blown it up.
00:20:27.500 But he wouldn't have had to blow it up
00:20:29.740 because Trump had stopped it
00:20:31.320 by signing my legislation.
00:20:34.240 It was Biden's weakness
00:20:35.440 that caused the pipeline to be built.
00:20:38.200 And so I think the chances
00:20:39.700 that Biden would have acted
00:20:41.160 to take out the pipeline
00:20:42.480 are virtually nil.
00:20:44.560 But I also think
00:20:45.500 the Biden White House's spin
00:20:47.720 that it was Putin who did it,
00:20:49.460 that never made sense.

00:21:23.360 I want to ask you one other question
00:21:25.140 about the White House now.
00:21:26.640 They're shockingly at odds now
00:21:28.540 with their liberal friend in town,
00:21:30.240 the Washington Post,
00:21:31.500 not answering detailed questions
00:21:34.120 from the Post.
00:21:34.860 Now, before I give you that quote,
00:21:37.160 I want to tell everybody
00:21:38.160 real quick about chalk.
00:21:39.580 If you're a guy

00:21:44.020 some of your vitality,
00:21:44.940 some of your focus,
00:21:46.360 you're feeling like you've got fatigue,
00:21:49.200 weakness, complacency.
00:21:50.960 You're not alone.
00:21:52.140 Testosterone levels
00:21:52.940 have fallen off a cliff historically.

00:23:02.440 Senator,
00:23:02.900 despite pledging,
00:23:04.420 and this is the part
00:23:05.480 where it looks like
00:23:06.240 the Washington Post
00:23:07.000 was really going after
00:23:08.760 the Biden administration
00:23:09.700 because they promised
00:23:10.840 that they were going to get
00:23:11.560 to the bottom of this.
00:23:12.280 I read that statement
00:23:13.320 at the very beginning
00:23:13.920 of the podcast today.
00:23:15.860 But despite pledging
00:23:17.720 to get to the bottom of it,
00:23:18.660 the Biden administration
00:23:19.820 is completely silent
00:23:22.400 and apparently
00:23:23.480 they already knew
00:23:24.440 what was going to happen.
00:23:25.540 They were briefed on it
00:23:26.260 months before.
00:23:27.200 So the president
00:23:28.040 may have just been lying to us
00:23:29.200 when he said
00:23:29.520 he was going to
00:23:30.180 send divers down there
00:23:31.580 and find out
00:23:32.260 what's really going on.
00:23:33.280 And the White House
00:23:33.960 was asked about this
00:23:35.580 yesterday.
00:23:37.060 Here's what John Kirby
00:23:38.160 had to say about it
00:23:38.760 when he was asked
00:23:39.300 by the press.
00:23:40.600 Is the U.S.
00:23:41.540 actively investigating?
00:23:42.980 No, who did it?
00:23:43.680 Why not?
00:23:44.600 There are three
00:23:45.240 European countries
00:23:46.060 that have embarked
00:23:50.460 on independent investigations
00:23:51.880 of this
00:23:52.400 and were comfortable
00:23:53.880 in their ability
00:23:54.980 to take a hard look
00:23:56.280 at this
00:23:56.600 and to come up
00:23:57.080 with conclusions.
00:23:58.060 He was hanging his head
00:23:59.800 by the way, Senator,
00:24:00.560 and you could barely hear him
00:24:01.800 when he said
00:24:02.300 the reporter said
00:24:02.940 is the U.S.
00:24:03.400 actively investigating?
00:24:04.760 And he had his head down
00:24:05.800 and he just said no.
00:24:06.880 Like it wasn't like
00:24:07.740 a proud no.
00:24:08.560 It wasn't like
00:24:09.000 absolutely not.
00:24:09.780 It was a
00:24:10.800 I'm going to answer that
00:24:11.840 and I'm going to answer
00:24:12.520 as quietly as I possibly can.
00:24:14.900 Why do you think
00:24:15.840 they're so quiet about this?
00:24:17.280 Because the last we heard
00:24:18.300 they were going to
00:24:18.800 investigate this by golly.
00:24:21.180 Well, listen,
00:24:22.460 the Biden White House
00:24:23.420 knows their foreign policy
00:24:24.960 failures are what
00:24:25.720 caused the war in Ukraine.
00:24:27.880 They also know
00:24:28.880 as we've talked about
00:24:29.600 at length on this podcast
00:24:30.720 that since the war began
00:24:32.740 they've been funding
00:24:34.340 both sides of the war.
00:24:35.500 They've been effectively
00:24:36.560 supporting Iran
00:24:39.080 by refusing to enforce
00:24:40.540 oil sanctions on Iran.
00:24:42.000 They've been funneling
00:24:42.820 billions of dollars
00:24:44.280 into the Ayatollah.
00:24:45.800 The Ayatollah has been using 0.63
00:24:47.080 those billions of dollars
00:24:48.060 to build drones
00:24:48.920 and those drones 0.92
00:24:49.700 the Russians have been using 0.99
00:24:50.880 to kill Ukrainians. 0.96
00:24:52.360 So the Biden administration 0.99
00:24:53.560 caused the war
00:24:54.420 through its own weakness
00:24:55.360 and now is funding
00:24:56.500 both sides of the war.
00:24:58.200 And so they are,
00:24:59.900 look, I'll give John Kirby
00:25:01.400 a little bit of credit
00:25:02.280 that he's at least sheepish
00:25:03.700 for the disaster
00:25:06.240 that this administration
00:25:07.640 has caused.
00:25:09.160 But I gotta say
00:25:10.920 the answer he gave yesterday
00:25:12.960 is utterly incompatible
00:25:15.880 with the administration's answer
00:25:17.320 when the pipeline blew up
00:25:18.500 when they claimed
00:25:19.240 this was an investigation
00:25:20.720 they were gonna get
00:25:21.400 to the bottom of.
00:25:22.380 Well, while at the same time
00:25:24.860 doing everything they could
00:25:25.660 to suggest it's Putin,
00:25:26.740 Putin, Putin.
00:25:27.320 Look, I think Putin's
00:25:28.020 a very bad guy
00:25:28.780 who does lots of stuff.
00:25:30.100 He just rarely blows up
00:25:31.180 his own stuff.
00:25:32.100 He blows up other people's stuff,
00:25:33.800 rarely his own stuff.
00:25:35.180 And so, you know,
00:25:37.200 for the White House
00:25:38.320 to be caught in,
00:25:39.800 at a minimum,
00:25:40.740 a massive inconsistency,
00:25:42.320 if not a flat-out lie,
00:25:44.280 that's less than ideal.
00:25:45.900 Yeah, I want to move also
00:25:47.240 to another big story, Senator.
00:25:48.940 You and I covered this
00:25:50.040 on Monday's episode,
00:25:52.140 and if you missed it,
00:25:53.060 go back and listen to it.
00:25:54.700 It was actually
00:25:55.380 the top of the charts
00:25:56.300 for all day on Monday
00:25:57.780 and Tuesday.
00:25:58.760 We did a deep dive
00:26:00.440 into what's going on
00:26:01.920 with the FBI Director Wray.
00:26:04.220 The House Oversight Committee
00:26:06.260 is now gonna move,
00:26:08.140 we're being told,
00:26:08.960 on Thursday
00:26:09.960 to hold the FBI Director,
00:26:12.320 Christopher Wray,
00:26:12.920 in contempt of Congress.
00:26:14.640 Now, why are they doing this?
00:26:16.500 Well, this all goes back
00:26:17.820 to the FBI-Biden document,
00:26:20.240 a document that they say
00:26:22.220 equates to basically
00:26:23.600 a bribery scheme,
00:26:25.640 money laundering,
00:26:26.600 where the president
00:26:27.400 was able to get his hands
00:26:28.420 on $5 million
00:26:29.660 for favors
00:26:31.680 when he was the vice president.
00:26:33.380 James Comer,
00:26:34.240 who saw that letter,
00:26:35.700 he still doesn't have
00:26:36.420 a copy of it himself,
00:26:37.540 but was able to read it,
00:26:38.860 had this to say
00:26:39.980 on Capitol Hill
00:26:40.780 after he walked out
00:26:42.060 of that meeting.
00:26:42.740 The claims made
00:26:44.080 in the document
00:26:45.640 are consistent
00:26:47.720 with what we found
00:26:49.680 and disclosed to you all
00:26:51.840 in Romania.
00:26:52.660 it suggests a pattern
00:26:56.600 of bribery
00:26:58.300 where payments would be made
00:27:01.020 through shell accounts
00:27:02.880 and multiple banks.
00:27:05.580 There's a term for that,
00:27:06.460 it's called money laundering.
00:27:07.920 And that, again,
00:27:08.680 is what the majority
00:27:10.380 of the suspicious activity reports
00:27:12.340 also said.
00:27:13.920 So we feel that this accusation
00:27:17.340 is consistent
00:27:18.040 with a pattern
00:27:19.000 that we're seeing,
00:27:20.920 frankly,
00:27:21.140 in other countries too.
00:27:23.160 That's pretty damning
00:27:24.300 when you start connecting
00:27:25.160 the dots, Senator.
00:27:26.080 You've got these documents now,
00:27:28.080 you've got the suspicious
00:27:28.940 activity reports,
00:27:30.420 you've got the
00:27:31.260 Hunter Biden laptop
00:27:32.460 that is connecting
00:27:33.360 a lot of these dots as well,
00:27:35.140 and you've got now
00:27:36.300 whistleblowers coming forward 0.99
00:27:37.800 that are sharing
00:27:38.600 information and intel.
00:27:40.320 This is painting
00:27:41.600 an extremely damning picture
00:27:43.560 to the Biden crime family,
00:27:46.780 and that is also
00:27:48.700 why the White House
00:27:50.060 must be feeling it
00:27:51.100 because this is unprecedented.
00:27:53.380 The White House
00:27:54.060 has actually come out
00:27:55.280 and claimed
00:27:56.120 that the Biden family business
00:27:57.940 quote represents
00:27:59.460 no national security threat.
00:28:03.160 And they even used
00:28:04.460 John Kirby,
00:28:05.100 the National Security Council
00:28:06.620 coordinator
00:28:07.040 for strategic communications.
00:28:09.100 He denied
00:28:09.840 that the Biden family
00:28:10.740 business schemes
00:28:11.440 represent a national security threat
00:28:13.040 despite admitting
00:28:13.780 he had not read
00:28:14.800 the House Oversight Committee's
00:28:16.880 report on the matter.
00:28:18.160 your reaction to that?
00:28:20.900 Well, I think the FBI
00:28:22.300 is facing a crisis
00:28:23.960 of integrity.
00:28:25.160 And in the last podcast,
00:28:26.960 and you're right,
00:28:27.600 if folks have not listened
00:28:29.420 to Monday's podcast,
00:28:31.520 they should,
00:28:32.040 because we did a deep dive
00:28:33.180 into this issue.
00:28:34.360 But the FBI
00:28:35.760 has a report
00:28:38.380 that was written
00:28:40.340 because a whistleblower,
00:28:42.380 an informant,
00:28:43.700 called in and said
00:28:44.860 that they had evidence
00:28:45.900 that Joe Biden
00:28:46.740 as vice president
00:28:47.660 was directly involved
00:28:49.560 in a bribery scheme,
00:28:51.380 according to the leaks,
00:28:52.520 in excess of $5 million
00:28:53.660 involving a foreign country,
00:28:56.480 and apparently
00:28:56.860 the foreign country
00:28:57.620 is not China.
00:29:02.640 The House of Representatives
00:29:04.020 investigating this
00:29:05.060 wanted to see that report.
00:29:06.500 Initially,
00:29:07.080 they subpoenaed that report,
00:29:08.640 and the FBI said,
00:29:10.360 go jump in a lake,
00:29:11.040 we won't give it to you.
00:29:12.540 And the House
00:29:13.460 was prepared to hold
00:29:14.540 Christopher Wray in contempt.
00:29:17.020 And Chris Wray blinked
00:29:19.500 and said,
00:29:21.160 okay,
00:29:21.500 we'll give you the report,
00:29:23.540 but James Comer
00:29:25.100 and Jamie Raskin,
00:29:26.120 the chairman and ranking member
00:29:27.260 of the committee investigating,
00:29:28.820 can review it yourselves,
00:29:30.660 but you can't make it public.
00:29:31.900 And so they brought it over,
00:29:32.820 they showed it to them.
00:29:34.260 Is that normal,
00:29:35.100 by the way?
00:29:35.640 And why would you do that?
00:29:37.520 Explain that to people listening.
00:29:39.300 So yes and no.
00:29:40.460 It's not bizarre.
00:29:42.780 There are times
00:29:44.080 when there's classified materials
00:29:45.840 or confidential materials
00:29:47.120 where the administration will say,
00:29:48.580 we'll show this to you privately
00:29:50.220 in a classified briefing
00:29:51.200 or confidential briefing.
00:29:52.440 And what we talked about
00:29:53.920 on Monday in the podcast
00:29:54.840 is, listen,
00:29:56.040 when you're dealing
00:29:56.940 with a confidential informant,
00:29:58.420 there are lots of instances
00:29:59.360 where some informant
00:30:00.280 provides some information,
00:30:01.500 say, on a drug cartel
00:30:02.560 or the mafia.
00:30:04.160 You know,
00:30:04.560 you get some hitman
00:30:05.960 who says,
00:30:06.520 okay,
00:30:06.740 I'm going to tell you
00:30:07.580 about the Don
00:30:09.380 and what he did.
00:30:10.460 That you don't want
00:30:12.140 the report
00:30:12.780 from the informant
00:30:13.760 made public
00:30:14.360 because if it is made public,
00:30:16.360 the crime boss 0.98
00:30:17.800 will have that guy killed. 0.99
00:30:19.520 And so it's not classified. 0.95
00:30:22.020 Classified typically involves
00:30:23.580 national security issues.
00:30:24.940 It involves
00:30:25.500 foreign policy issues.
00:30:27.300 In law enforcement,
00:30:28.400 it's not classified,
00:30:30.280 but it is confidential.
00:30:31.520 And law enforcement
00:30:32.300 confidential
00:30:32.800 is a serious status
00:30:35.000 because you want
00:30:35.860 to protect
00:30:36.420 the integrity
00:30:37.840 of a law enforcement
00:30:38.820 investigation
00:30:39.400 and you want
00:30:40.160 to protect
00:30:40.660 the identity
00:30:41.820 of an informant.
00:30:44.560 What you and I
00:30:45.860 talked about
00:30:46.440 two days ago
00:30:47.260 is the circumstances
00:30:49.320 here are very different.
00:30:50.400 Number one,
00:30:52.140 presumably,
00:30:52.800 this informant
00:30:53.700 is advising
00:30:56.700 not on
00:30:57.840 a mafia boss,
00:30:59.500 not on
00:31:00.060 El Chapo,
00:31:00.960 not on
00:31:01.320 some drug kingpin,
00:31:02.740 but on
00:31:04.000 Joseph Robinette
00:31:04.800 Biden Jr.,
00:31:06.260 then the vice president
00:31:07.300 of the United States,
00:31:08.080 now the president
00:31:08.680 of the United States,
00:31:09.780 one would assume
00:31:11.080 the law enforcement
00:31:12.140 interests
00:31:12.860 are markedly less
00:31:15.140 in that Biden
00:31:15.880 is not going to have
00:31:16.700 the guy whacked.
00:31:17.640 And by the way,
00:31:18.800 lefty Twitter
00:31:19.360 went insane
00:31:20.340 this week
00:31:21.520 because we said
00:31:22.320 in Monday's podcast,
00:31:23.440 I said,
00:31:23.960 it's reasonable
00:31:24.980 to assume
00:31:25.740 the threat
00:31:26.220 to the informant's
00:31:27.060 life is less
00:31:27.860 given that he was
00:31:29.080 informing on Joe Biden.
00:31:30.260 And they said,
00:31:30.600 oh my gosh,
00:31:31.780 you know,
00:31:32.140 Cruz is suggesting
00:31:33.080 that Joe Biden
00:31:33.900 is going to have 0.98
00:31:34.400 someone murdered.
00:31:35.100 I said,
00:31:35.480 no.
00:31:36.840 Actually,
00:31:37.320 what I said
00:31:37.840 is presumably,
00:31:38.680 I would hope
00:31:39.860 Joe Biden
00:31:40.780 is not going
00:31:41.560 to have someone
00:31:42.180 murdered.
00:31:42.880 But if that's
00:31:43.560 the case,
00:31:44.800 the FBI's interest
00:31:45.840 in keeping this
00:31:46.480 confidential
00:31:46.980 is much less.
00:31:49.300 Moreover,
00:31:49.880 the public interest,
00:31:52.440 a serious,
00:31:53.460 credible allegation
00:31:54.600 of bribery
00:31:55.340 and corruption
00:31:56.240 by the then
00:31:58.000 vice president,
00:31:58.880 now the president
00:31:59.500 of the United States,
00:32:00.240 that's a big 0.97
00:32:01.300 damn deal. 0.96
00:32:02.620 And so, 1.00
00:32:03.560 Comer saw
00:32:04.100 the document
00:32:04.700 and he left
00:32:06.140 the briefing
00:32:06.620 and said,
00:32:08.060 the American public
00:32:08.820 has a right
00:32:09.300 to know
00:32:09.600 what's in this
00:32:10.040 document.
00:32:11.220 We want
00:32:12.100 to make it public.
00:32:13.600 And Chris Ray
00:32:14.400 said,
00:32:14.740 nope,
00:32:15.040 not going to do it.
00:32:16.400 And so,
00:32:16.740 what's going to happen
00:32:17.560 tomorrow on Thursday
00:32:19.220 is the House
00:32:21.020 is going to vote
00:32:21.700 to hold Chris Ray
00:32:22.840 in contempt of Congress.
00:32:24.280 Now,
00:32:24.800 let me give a couple
00:32:26.120 of consequences
00:32:26.720 of this.
00:32:27.140 One,
00:32:28.500 this is a real
00:32:29.280 problem for the FBI.
00:32:31.180 Look,
00:32:31.480 the FBI uses
00:32:32.300 subpoenas every day.
00:32:34.060 They use subpoenas
00:32:34.980 all the time
00:32:35.680 to get information
00:32:36.440 they need
00:32:37.180 in law enforcement
00:32:37.920 investigations.
00:32:39.200 To have the director
00:32:40.520 held in contempt
00:32:41.740 for failing
00:32:43.200 to comply
00:32:43.760 with a subpoena
00:32:44.460 is a big problem
00:32:46.660 for all of the rest
00:32:48.200 of the FBI's ambit.
00:32:49.420 But secondly,
00:32:53.240 this is,
00:32:55.660 I believe,
00:32:56.100 a crisis
00:32:56.700 in integrity
00:32:58.140 for the FBI.
00:32:59.380 And so,
00:33:00.040 I want to make
00:33:00.520 a very direct appeal.
00:33:01.640 I went this week
00:33:03.100 on Hannity
00:33:03.640 and I made this appeal
00:33:04.460 to Chris Ray,
00:33:05.100 but I'm going to make it
00:33:05.620 on this podcast as well.
00:33:07.240 I know Chris Ray well.
00:33:09.860 Chris,
00:33:10.560 don't do this
00:33:13.320 to the FBI.
00:33:16.260 If Chris Ray
00:33:17.380 stiff arms the House,
00:33:18.820 if he forces
00:33:20.780 the House of Representatives
00:33:21.980 to hold him
00:33:22.840 in contempt,
00:33:24.200 it will do
00:33:25.680 massive damage
00:33:27.940 to the integrity
00:33:29.160 of the FBI.
00:33:30.040 Chris Ray
00:33:30.580 is a company man.
00:33:31.740 He believes
00:33:32.680 he's defending
00:33:33.500 the FBI
00:33:34.180 by circling the wagons
00:33:35.560 and not handing
00:33:36.260 material over.
00:33:37.560 But your job
00:33:39.040 is not to protect
00:33:40.140 the hardcore
00:33:41.060 left-wing partisans
00:33:42.540 who burrowed
00:33:43.680 into senior career
00:33:44.720 positions at the FBI.
00:33:46.640 Instead,
00:33:47.220 it's to protect
00:33:47.780 the institution
00:33:48.580 to protect
00:33:49.040 the rule of law
00:33:49.800 to protect
00:33:50.220 the Constitution.
00:33:51.620 You are ultimately
00:33:52.960 accountable
00:33:53.620 to the American people
00:33:54.960 and the American people
00:33:56.560 have a right to know
00:33:57.640 if there's credible evidence
00:33:59.040 that the President
00:34:00.060 of the United States
00:34:01.000 was involved
00:34:01.760 in bribery
00:34:02.660 from a foreign nation.
00:34:04.540 It is difficult
00:34:05.820 to imagine
00:34:06.800 an issue
00:34:08.060 of greater
00:34:08.800 public importance.
00:34:10.920 And so I'm calling
00:34:11.820 on Chris Ray.
00:34:13.300 Do the right thing.
00:34:15.060 Hand this document
00:34:16.460 over.
00:34:17.440 Don't dig in
00:34:19.180 as a stubborn
00:34:21.700 institutional warrior
00:34:23.760 and end up
00:34:26.460 being held
00:34:27.160 in contempt
00:34:27.820 of Congress.
00:34:28.480 Now, you might think,
00:34:29.560 gosh,
00:34:30.600 I'll be fine
00:34:31.560 because the Biden
00:34:33.120 DOJ
00:34:33.720 is so politicized
00:34:34.800 they'll never prosecute
00:34:35.920 the contempt
00:34:36.460 holding.
00:34:37.300 And that's true.
00:34:38.440 The chances
00:34:39.080 that Merrick Garland
00:34:39.980 will prosecute
00:34:40.860 Chris Ray for contempt
00:34:42.000 are 0.0%.
00:34:43.900 But the damage
00:34:45.560 to the integrity
00:34:46.340 of the FBI
00:34:46.960 will be massive
00:34:48.080 if Chris Ray
00:34:48.940 refuses to give in
00:34:52.040 to public accountability.
00:34:53.520 So I'm calling
00:34:54.740 on the director
00:34:55.420 of the FBI.
00:34:56.240 Donald Trump
00:34:56.780 appointed you.
00:34:57.760 You're not
00:34:58.360 a left-wing partisan.
00:35:00.140 Your loyalty
00:35:00.880 is not
00:35:01.820 to the rabid partisans
00:35:04.640 in the senior positions
00:35:05.700 of the FBI.
00:35:06.560 Your loyalty
00:35:07.120 should be
00:35:08.080 to the Constitution
00:35:09.720 and the American people.
00:35:10.900 And that means
00:35:11.900 you should hand
00:35:12.460 this document over
00:35:13.280 for the people
00:35:14.140 to assess it
00:35:14.980 on the merits.
00:35:16.500 When it comes
00:35:17.640 to the investigation
00:35:18.380 side of it,
00:35:19.480 and this is obviously
00:35:20.240 a little bit separate
00:35:21.160 from Ray,
00:35:23.520 but the House
00:35:24.080 Oversight Committee's probe
00:35:25.440 found that the
00:35:26.180 Biden family businesses
00:35:27.200 over the course
00:35:28.220 of several years
00:35:28.980 received,
00:35:29.760 and this is the most
00:35:30.360 important part
00:35:31.000 about the whistleblower
00:35:32.260 and also this new
00:35:33.540 accusation that there
00:35:34.520 was $5 million
00:35:35.240 in a bribery scheme
00:35:36.700 to then-Vice President
00:35:37.960 Joe Biden
00:35:38.520 for favors from America.
00:35:39.800 Over the course
00:35:41.080 of several years,
00:35:41.920 and this is what
00:35:42.900 we at least know
00:35:43.580 of now,
00:35:44.520 the Biden family
00:35:45.500 businesses
00:35:46.380 and their shell
00:35:47.340 companies,
00:35:48.080 Senator,
00:35:48.360 received at least
00:35:48.940 $10 million
00:35:49.620 from business schemes
00:35:51.620 in Romania
00:35:52.500 and China.
00:35:54.180 You look at
00:35:55.340 how much money
00:35:56.380 we're finding here,
00:35:57.640 and a lot of people
00:35:58.760 believe this other
00:35:59.360 $5 million
00:35:59.940 is going to be
00:36:00.560 coming in from Romania.
00:36:01.860 This is a massive
00:36:03.380 amount of money
00:36:04.420 coming in,
00:36:05.300 and it's coming
00:36:06.760 in to business
00:36:08.640 associates
00:36:09.360 designing a web
00:36:11.080 of companies
00:36:11.700 over 20
00:36:12.620 that we know of,
00:36:13.960 many of which
00:36:14.780 were formed
00:36:15.280 during Joe Biden's
00:36:16.720 vice presidency,
00:36:17.500 and the committee
00:36:18.620 said in total
00:36:19.260 the Biden family
00:36:20.480 business associates
00:36:21.240 and their companies
00:36:22.020 received over $10 million
00:36:23.080 from foreign national
00:36:24.100 companies,
00:36:25.160 the committee found,
00:36:26.440 and that's just $10 million
00:36:27.440 alone outside
00:36:28.040 of everything else.
00:36:29.640 Look,
00:36:30.380 this is utterly bizarre.
00:36:31.980 I do not know
00:36:33.920 any person
00:36:34.600 in public life,
00:36:35.420 I don't know
00:36:35.800 any senator,
00:36:36.800 I don't know
00:36:37.420 any House member,
00:36:38.460 I don't know
00:36:38.900 any member
00:36:39.340 of the executive branch,
00:36:41.460 whose family members
00:36:42.880 received millions
00:36:44.160 of dollars
00:36:44.740 from foreign nations
00:36:45.860 and foreign companies.
00:36:47.420 This is not typical,
00:36:49.080 this is not usual.
00:36:51.020 It is utterly bizarre.
00:36:52.580 We know that Hunter Biden
00:36:53.620 received over
00:36:54.420 a million dollars
00:36:55.460 a year from Burisma,
00:36:56.700 the Ukrainian
00:36:57.200 natural gas company.
00:36:58.720 We know that up
00:36:59.760 to a dozen
00:37:00.360 Biden family members
00:37:01.640 received millions
00:37:02.500 of dollars
00:37:02.960 from Chinese
00:37:03.560 communist countries.
00:37:05.200 Now there are
00:37:05.740 these allegations
00:37:06.500 about a mysterious
00:37:07.600 third country,
00:37:08.660 we don't know
00:37:09.000 what that is.
00:37:09.680 Now there are
00:37:10.040 additional allegations
00:37:11.320 about Romania,
00:37:12.640 we don't know
00:37:13.320 the details of that.
00:37:15.440 It is bizarre.
00:37:17.340 Why are your family
00:37:18.480 members getting
00:37:19.360 millions of bucks?
00:37:20.380 Look,
00:37:20.960 foreign nations,
00:37:22.100 Ben,
00:37:23.040 you're a really
00:37:23.540 successful guy.
00:37:24.680 You're a well-respected
00:37:26.760 radio host,
00:37:27.780 you've been,
00:37:28.240 you've been a talk
00:37:29.600 radio host
00:37:30.300 with a national following
00:37:31.300 since you were
00:37:31.760 literally 12 years old,
00:37:32.940 which is a little bit bizarre.
00:37:34.620 You're sort of 0.54
00:37:35.300 a freakish prodigy.
00:37:36.460 I'll take that compliment
00:37:37.560 any day.
00:37:39.020 But,
00:37:40.100 okay,
00:37:40.440 let me just ask you
00:37:41.200 right now,
00:37:41.720 on the record,
00:37:42.400 under oath,
00:37:43.160 have the Chinese
00:37:44.660 communists paid you
00:37:45.480 millions of dollars?
00:37:46.400 Never.
00:37:47.240 Have they paid you
00:37:47.860 a dollar?
00:37:48.740 No.
00:37:49.820 Like, 0.75
00:37:50.800 who the hell 0.89
00:37:51.680 does that? 0.88
00:37:52.780 Like,
00:37:53.040 who the hell
00:37:53.780 has all of these
00:37:55.260 companies?
00:37:55.400 Yeah, I've never had
00:37:56.840 and by the way,
00:37:57.880 even worse,
00:37:59.760 like,
00:38:00.160 your Aunt Bertha
00:38:00.940 is getting millions
00:38:02.240 of bucks.
00:38:02.640 I don't know
00:38:02.880 if you have an Aunt Bertha,
00:38:03.620 I don't know
00:38:03.880 if Joe Biden
00:38:04.360 has an Aunt Bertha,
00:38:05.280 but what the hell? 0.92
00:38:06.380 They're like rounding up
00:38:07.480 any Biden family member,
00:38:09.080 you know, 1.00
00:38:09.440 idiot cousin Lenny, 1.00
00:38:10.960 who's like babbling 1.00
00:38:12.220 to himself,
00:38:13.020 let's give him
00:38:13.600 $100,000.
00:38:14.760 Like,
00:38:15.620 that reeks
00:38:16.700 of corruption
00:38:17.500 at a level
00:38:18.600 that is weird.
00:38:20.760 Yeah.
00:38:20.880 And the only way
00:38:22.500 the corporate media
00:38:23.460 can whitewash this
00:38:24.960 is to ignore it
00:38:25.840 because you can't explain,
00:38:27.560 well, gosh,
00:38:28.460 isn't everybody
00:38:29.320 on the take
00:38:30.040 from communist China?
00:38:31.160 No.
00:38:31.840 No, they're not. 0.97
00:38:33.700 This is a big damn problem 0.94
00:38:35.780 and it's why Chris Wray 0.95
00:38:37.100 owes it to the American people
00:38:39.600 to be forthcoming.
00:38:41.100 He doesn't work
00:38:42.100 for the bureaucrats.
00:38:43.200 He doesn't work
00:38:43.760 for Merrick Garland.
00:38:44.960 He works
00:38:45.920 for the American people
00:38:47.560 and he should behave like it.
00:38:49.140 This money,
00:38:50.080 and again,
00:38:50.560 it was very clear
00:38:51.600 that James Comer
00:38:52.900 was tipping his hat
00:38:54.460 a little bit
00:38:54.900 that this $5 million
00:38:56.200 bribery scheme
00:38:57.080 was dealt something
00:38:58.740 with probably Romania.
00:39:00.560 The reporting
00:39:01.300 that we have,
00:39:02.320 and this has,
00:39:03.320 again,
00:39:03.620 before this report,
00:39:05.980 was that from November
00:39:07.120 2015 to May 2017,
00:39:09.880 there was a company
00:39:10.400 called Bladen Enterprises.
00:39:11.920 They paid
00:39:12.340 Robinson Walker LLC
00:39:13.940 over $3 million.
00:39:15.900 Now,
00:39:16.160 this Bladen Enterprises
00:39:17.760 reported to be
00:39:18.500 this company
00:39:22.260 that was used
00:39:24.100 to conduct business
00:39:25.040 in Romania
00:39:25.840 from a shady
00:39:26.860 Romanian oligarch.
00:39:28.800 Robinson Walker
00:39:29.680 is the Biden family
00:39:31.300 business partner
00:39:32.020 who collectively
00:39:33.300 sent the Biden family
00:39:35.620 that $1.3 million
00:39:37.060 to all of those
00:39:38.220 Biden family members
00:39:39.140 when the Biden crime family
00:39:40.160 really exploded
00:39:40.820 in the number of Bidens.
00:39:42.700 And the Biden family
00:39:43.780 accounts,
00:39:44.760 now we know,
00:39:45.600 received approximately
00:39:46.360 $1,038,000
00:39:48.700 from the Robinson Walker
00:39:51.240 LLC account
00:39:52.400 after this Romanian company
00:39:55.620 deposited money
00:39:56.520 in his accounts.
00:39:57.820 Now,
00:39:58.040 the committee revealed
00:39:58.840 all of this
00:39:59.560 based upon
00:40:00.240 wire transfers.
00:40:01.800 That was part of all
00:40:02.840 these suspicious
00:40:03.420 activity reports.
00:40:04.500 And in total,
00:40:05.620 16 of the 17 payments
00:40:07.880 from this Bladen Enterprises
00:40:09.380 to Robinson Walker LLC
00:40:11.600 were made
00:40:12.200 while Joe Biden
00:40:13.320 was the vice president
00:40:15.100 of the United States
00:40:15.980 of America.
00:40:16.940 Knowing that money
00:40:17.860 was coming in
00:40:18.480 when he was
00:40:18.800 the vice president,
00:40:19.780 Senator,
00:40:20.160 is there going to be
00:40:21.360 any accountability
00:40:21.980 for that?
00:40:23.680 From the Biden
00:40:24.620 Department of Justice,
00:40:25.620 I don't believe there will.
00:40:27.280 But from the House
00:40:28.280 of Representatives,
00:40:28.940 I hope and believe
00:40:29.940 there will.
00:40:30.580 I will commend
00:40:31.600 James Comer.
00:40:32.620 I'll commend
00:40:33.140 Jim Jordan.
00:40:34.520 They have been
00:40:35.080 driving this.
00:40:36.240 I have been trying
00:40:37.200 to drive this
00:40:37.880 from the Senate.
00:40:38.560 I have been pushing
00:40:39.180 this from the Senate.
00:40:39.980 The problem is
00:40:40.760 the Senate Democrats
00:40:42.740 have the majority.
00:40:43.720 and Senate Democrats,
00:40:45.480 there is not
00:40:46.340 a single Democrat,
00:40:47.900 not one,
00:40:48.600 who gives a damn
00:40:50.320 about whether
00:40:52.160 the president
00:40:52.760 of the United States
00:40:53.720 is directly implicated
00:40:56.840 in a bribery scheme
00:40:57.900 involving foreign nations.
00:40:59.100 Because if they gave a damn,
00:41:00.660 they'd do something about it.
00:41:02.240 Look, I'm in hearings
00:41:03.100 every week
00:41:03.580 from the Judiciary Committee.
00:41:05.640 One of the Democrats
00:41:06.840 could ask a witness about it.
00:41:08.280 None of them ever have.
00:41:10.240 Dick Durbin is chairman
00:41:11.360 of the Judiciary Committee.
00:41:12.320 He could convene a hearing.
00:41:13.720 He hasn't.
00:41:15.420 Bob Menendez is chairman
00:41:16.860 of the Foreign Relations Committee.
00:41:18.080 I serve on that as well.
00:41:19.740 He could convene a hearing.
00:41:21.280 He hasn't.
00:41:22.140 He could ask a question.
00:41:23.760 He hasn't.
00:41:24.760 None of the Democrats
00:41:25.760 on the committee
00:41:26.360 have asked questions.
00:41:27.940 They don't care.
00:41:29.420 And unfortunately,
00:41:30.600 Senate Democrats
00:41:31.280 are putting partisan politics.
00:41:34.860 Go back to Richard Nixon
00:41:36.900 and Watergate.
00:41:38.240 You want to know
00:41:39.480 why the Nixon White House fell,
00:41:42.000 why Nixon resigned
00:41:43.180 while that scandal came down.
00:41:44.760 It was because Republicans
00:41:46.740 had the testicular fortitude
00:41:49.720 to stand up and say, 0.99
00:41:51.100 this is corrupt
00:41:52.840 and we'll stand up
00:41:54.620 to our own party
00:41:55.400 and say no.
00:41:56.240 Is there even one Democrat?
00:41:59.100 And by the way,
00:42:00.020 they don't need to call him out
00:42:01.280 and say it's corrupt.
00:42:02.360 They could just start
00:42:03.700 by saying,
00:42:04.560 wow,
00:42:05.440 these allegations
00:42:06.100 are serious.
00:42:06.820 We need answers.
00:42:08.700 Like,
00:42:09.060 that's not much.
00:42:10.420 That's asking for
00:42:11.520 a tiny little mustard seed
00:42:14.020 of integrity.
00:42:15.540 In the House,
00:42:16.600 if there's been a House Democrat
00:42:17.740 who's done that,
00:42:18.500 I haven't seen it.
00:42:19.420 Every hearing they have,
00:42:20.500 the House Democrats
00:42:21.300 all act like
00:42:22.260 the Praetorian Guard
00:42:23.280 or actually more like
00:42:24.840 the sort of
00:42:25.920 legally blonde cheerleaders
00:42:27.240 with miniskirts
00:42:29.200 and pom-poms
00:42:30.160 surrounding Joe Biden
00:42:31.220 in the White House.
00:42:31.900 but none of them
00:42:34.120 that I've seen
00:42:34.980 has a shred of integrity
00:42:36.320 to say,
00:42:37.180 gosh,
00:42:39.080 that would be a problem
00:42:40.660 if the President
00:42:41.280 of the United States
00:42:41.980 is on the take
00:42:42.900 from a foreign nation.
00:42:44.900 One of them should do so.
00:42:46.340 And by the way,
00:42:48.420 when was the last time
00:42:50.020 CNN asked about this,
00:42:51.860 MSNBC asked about this,
00:42:53.940 ABC asked about this,
00:42:55.160 NBC asked about this.
00:42:55.360 Total silence from them.
00:42:56.860 I will say,
00:42:58.080 CBS,
00:42:58.620 to their credit,
00:42:59.680 has covered this
00:43:02.260 a little bit.
00:43:03.460 So it's almost
00:43:04.160 the only outlier
00:43:05.600 from the corporate media
00:43:06.620 who's dared to cover it.
00:43:08.140 But where's the,
00:43:08.780 where's the 60-minute special?
00:43:11.680 Where's the,
00:43:12.580 you remember Ted Koppel,
00:43:13.980 where's Nightline?
00:43:15.260 Yeah.
00:43:15.460 Like corruption
00:43:16.240 in the White House.
00:43:17.340 The corporate media
00:43:19.040 does not care.
00:43:21.660 Where are Woodward
00:43:22.320 and Bernstein?
00:43:23.520 There are no
00:43:24.380 Woodward and Bernsteins.
00:43:25.420 Apparently,
00:43:25.860 reporters don't exist anymore.
00:43:27.820 Great point.
00:43:28.520 I want to ask you
00:43:29.260 quickly about something else.
00:43:31.180 And that deals
00:43:31.620 with the Southern Poverty Law Center
00:43:33.180 has now added
00:43:34.420 parental rights groups
00:43:37.120 to the same list
00:43:38.740 of hate groups
00:43:40.000 that they put them next
00:43:41.660 to now the Ku Klux Klan.
00:43:43.800 Before we get
00:43:44.640 to this shocking story,
00:43:45.760 I want to tell you
00:43:46.280 about our friends
00:43:46.720 at Augusta Precious Metals.
00:43:48.500 Let's talk about
00:43:49.560 your retirement
00:43:50.160 for just a second.
00:43:51.100 You've seen
00:43:51.420 what's been going on.
00:43:52.280 You've seen
00:43:52.540 some of the bank failures.
00:43:53.620 You've seen
00:43:53.880 what's happening
00:43:54.340 with interest rates.
00:43:55.540 You've seen
00:43:55.820 what's been happening
00:43:56.460 on Wall Street
00:43:57.160 and the changes
00:43:58.480 in the housing market.
00:43:59.440 If you are stressed out
00:44:00.920 and you've watched
00:44:01.900 some of your retirement
00:44:03.320 disappear,
00:44:04.220 you know
00:44:04.840 there's no time,
00:44:06.080 especially if you're
00:44:06.700 at retirement age,
00:44:08.060 you're in retirement
00:44:08.860 or right before it
00:44:09.480 to make up losses.
00:44:10.920 And that is where
00:44:11.860 gold can come in
00:44:13.340 and help you
00:44:14.020 diversify your portfolio.
00:44:16.640 Augusta Precious Metals
00:44:17.700 is a company
00:44:18.180 that I use.
00:44:18.960 Why?
00:44:19.320 Because they will even
00:44:20.160 tell you if gold
00:44:20.940 is not right for you
00:44:21.920 and your portfolio
00:44:23.140 based on what
00:44:24.260 you're trying
00:44:24.940 to accomplish
00:44:25.560 or your age
00:44:26.660 or how much
00:44:27.160 you've saved.
00:44:28.320 Now,
00:44:28.620 the other thing
00:44:29.220 about Augusta
00:44:29.680 is they don't
00:44:30.360 just send you
00:44:30.940 a free guide
00:44:31.860 on gold.
00:44:32.380 Now,
00:44:32.540 they do that
00:44:33.240 absolutely
00:44:33.820 and it's a ton
00:44:34.620 of information
00:44:35.200 but they do
00:44:36.120 a one-on-one
00:44:36.820 web conference
00:44:37.600 with you
00:44:38.060 and actually
00:44:39.080 talk about you.
00:44:41.060 They don't do
00:44:41.660 one size fits all.
00:44:43.540 So,
00:44:43.740 if you have
00:44:44.000 $100,000
00:44:44.680 or more
00:44:45.500 that you've saved

00:45:16.860 AugustaPreciousMetals.com.
00:45:20.060 All right,
00:45:20.500 lastly,
00:45:21.060 Senator,
00:45:21.480 the Southern
00:45:21.860 Poverty Law Center
00:45:22.780 has added
00:45:23.300 parental rights
00:45:24.240 groups,
00:45:24.620 including a group
00:45:25.400 that I've had
00:45:25.880 on my show,
00:45:27.300 Moms for Liberty, 1.00
00:45:29.180 several others,
00:45:31.140 to its hate map,
00:45:33.460 which plots
00:45:34.120 conservative groups
00:45:35.020 alongside chapters
00:45:36.160 of the Ku Klux Klan.
00:45:38.060 Your reaction
00:45:38.880 to that?
00:45:40.540 Well,
00:45:40.760 the Southern
00:45:41.100 Poverty Law Center,
00:45:42.240 unfortunately,
00:45:43.160 is a profoundly
00:45:43.840 dishonest, 0.99
00:45:44.900 rabidly partisan, 1.00
00:45:46.520 left-wing organization.
00:45:47.620 it has a business
00:45:49.400 model where
00:45:50.500 it gets
00:45:51.140 very wealthy
00:45:52.920 left-wing
00:45:53.720 billionaires
00:45:55.720 to write them
00:45:56.860 big checks
00:45:57.500 in order to
00:45:59.040 try to
00:45:59.600 tar
00:46:00.360 anyone
00:46:01.640 right of center
00:46:02.420 and to call them
00:46:03.000 hate groups.
00:46:03.660 Among other groups,
00:46:04.580 they've called
00:46:05.020 the Alliance Defending Freedom,
00:46:06.320 which is one of the most
00:46:07.240 important organizations
00:46:08.680 nationally for
00:46:09.700 defending religious liberty,
00:46:10.940 for litigating and winning
00:46:12.040 national Supreme Court
00:46:13.660 victories in front of the
00:46:14.560 Supreme Court.
00:46:15.020 So you literally have
00:46:15.740 this organization
00:46:16.580 of public interest lawyers
00:46:18.200 who are winning
00:46:18.960 religious liberty victories
00:46:20.040 before the Supreme Court
00:46:21.140 that the Southern
00:46:22.340 Poverty Law Center
00:46:23.260 calls a hate group
00:46:24.780 like the Nazis, 0.87
00:46:25.600 the KKK.
00:46:26.580 They also call
00:46:27.640 the Family Research Center,
00:46:28.880 which is a fantastic,
00:46:30.660 Family Research Council
00:46:31.400 is a fantastic organization
00:46:33.060 that is pro-life,
00:46:35.920 is pro-traditional values,
00:46:37.480 that fights for family values
00:46:39.200 across this country.
00:46:40.640 They label them
00:46:41.500 as a hate group,
00:46:42.240 and in fact,
00:46:42.860 the Southern Poverty Law Center
00:46:44.000 designation of the FRC
00:46:47.720 as a hate group
00:46:48.360 led one radical, 0.95
00:46:50.060 deranged, 0.99
00:46:50.700 angry leftist 1.00
00:46:51.520 to show up with a gun 1.00
00:46:52.480 trying to murder people 0.98
00:46:53.660 at the FRC,
00:46:55.180 and thankfully,
00:46:55.940 there was a security guard
00:46:57.300 who heroically stopped
00:46:58.840 this crazed,
00:47:00.460 attempted murderer
00:47:01.200 from carrying out
00:47:02.500 the hate
00:47:03.020 that was inspired
00:47:03.800 by the SPLC.
00:47:05.080 SPLC is so radical,
00:47:07.180 they had a lawyer
00:47:08.240 just recently
00:47:09.560 that worked for them
00:47:10.720 who was arrested
00:47:12.440 for being an Antifa terrorist
00:47:14.880 in Atlanta
00:47:15.680 and participating
00:47:17.300 in terrorist riots
00:47:18.520 against law enforcement.
00:47:20.200 Mind you,
00:47:20.580 SPLC said
00:47:21.520 when their own employee
00:47:22.740 was nominated to be,
00:47:24.200 was indicted
00:47:25.820 as being an Antifa terrorist,
00:47:27.340 said,
00:47:27.520 we stand by our employee.
00:47:29.540 That's who they are.
00:47:30.620 By the way,
00:47:31.720 their director of litigation,
00:47:33.300 a radical left-winger,
00:47:34.560 Joe Biden,
00:47:35.080 is nominated
00:47:35.560 to be a federal court
00:47:36.280 of appeals judge,
00:47:37.640 and the Democrats
00:47:38.380 happily stood with her.
00:47:40.420 Well,
00:47:40.840 now the Southern Poverty Law Center
00:47:42.960 is going on offense,
00:47:45.260 and they've decided
00:47:45.980 to target Moms for Liberty. 1.00
00:47:47.540 Let me say,
00:47:48.020 Moms for Liberty, 1.00
00:47:49.080 they are phenomenal women. 1.00
00:47:50.860 They are moms
00:47:51.520 who are standing up
00:47:52.420 for their kids.
00:47:53.500 And you want to know
00:47:54.380 the power of Moms for Liberty? 1.00
00:47:56.280 Let me tell you someone
00:47:57.220 who would not have
00:47:58.460 the first name in his title,
00:48:00.840 and that would be
00:48:01.540 Governor Glenn Youngkin.
00:48:03.360 Without Moms for Liberty, 1.00
00:48:04.620 Governor Glenn Youngkin
00:48:05.500 would be Glenn Youngkin.
00:48:07.360 There'd be no governor.
00:48:08.900 We'd have Governor
00:48:09.620 Terry McAuliffe
00:48:10.520 because Virginia,
00:48:12.460 which Biden won
00:48:13.340 by nearly 10 points,
00:48:15.200 Virginia flipped red. 0.99
00:48:16.240 And why did Virginia
00:48:16.940 flip red?
00:48:17.560 It flipped red
00:48:18.100 because moms stood up 0.91
00:48:19.160 and they were ticked off
00:48:20.260 at the left-wing
00:48:21.200 takeover of their schools.
00:48:22.360 They were ticked off
00:48:23.220 at the woke ideology.
00:48:25.040 They were ticked off
00:48:25.880 at Loudoun County,
00:48:27.180 at the school district
00:48:28.360 covering up 0.98
00:48:29.200 for a sexual predator, 0.98
00:48:31.100 a boy wearing a skirt 0.97
00:48:32.520 in the girls' restroom, 0.99
00:48:33.600 assaulted and raped a girl. 1.00
00:48:35.000 They were ticked off 0.99
00:48:36.540 at the critical race theory
00:48:38.260 being taught to their kids.
00:48:40.120 And Moms for Liberty 0.94
00:48:41.260 energized moms
00:48:42.880 in Virginia
00:48:43.500 and across the country.
00:48:44.420 They also energized moms
00:48:45.640 who were mad
00:48:46.520 at the school shutdowns
00:48:47.620 and said,
00:48:47.960 look,
00:48:48.120 our kids deserve schooling.
00:48:50.160 These radical ideologues
00:48:52.100 are shutting down schools
00:48:53.380 and hurting our children.
00:48:54.740 And these moms engaged. 0.87
00:48:56.960 They spoke out.
00:48:57.920 They were powerful.
00:48:58.940 They flipped Virginia 0.99
00:49:02.620 from blue to red
00:49:03.480 to the shock
00:49:04.600 of the left-wing establishment.
00:49:06.480 And what has
00:49:06.760 the Southern Poverty Law Center said?
00:49:08.920 Moms,
00:49:09.560 they're defending their kids, 0.98
00:49:11.540 are a hate group.
00:49:13.060 I'm going to say right now
00:49:14.160 the SPLC is a radical
00:49:15.940 left-wing hate group.
00:49:17.780 I'm going to use that term.
00:49:19.120 They hate you.
00:49:20.060 They hate me. 0.99
00:49:21.340 They hate America. 0.99
00:49:22.880 They hate conservatives.
00:49:24.280 They hate the Constitution.
00:49:25.500 They hate the Bill of Rights.
00:49:26.520 They hate families.
00:49:28.360 They hate moms. 1.00
00:49:29.180 They hate dads. 0.92
00:49:30.080 They hate anyone
00:49:31.120 who stands up for this country.
00:49:33.440 And I got to say,
00:49:34.360 for the SPLC
00:49:35.180 to go after Moms for Liberty 0.98
00:49:36.460 is disgusting. 0.97
00:49:38.460 Senator, as always, 0.95
00:49:39.400 it's a pleasure.
