00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.
00:00:02.560 Guaranteed human.
00:00:05.360 Welcome.
00:00:06.100 It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you.
00:00:09.440 And we are doing this show right now in the middle of some seriously interesting and big
00:00:16.400 breaking news potentially, Senator.
00:00:18.120 And that is that there is a ceasefire agreement as you and I are doing this show.
00:00:22.600 We are about three hours away from that ceasefire officially quote unquote taking place.
00:00:28.220 It'll happen 4 a.m. officially with Israel.
00:00:32.480 Your initial reaction to that?
00:00:34.560 Well, the ceasefire is major breaking news.
00:00:37.540 After 14 months of active war between Israel and Hezbollah, that war is going to come to
00:00:44.140 a conclusion today.
00:00:45.940 The Biden White House is taking credit for it, is celebrating it as a major victory.
00:00:50.160 And there's no doubt this is a serious defeat for Hezbollah. 0.86
00:00:53.480 In many respects, this is a victory for the people of Israel.
00:00:57.060 At the same time, we're going to break down what exactly it means because there's more
00:01:01.100 to this than meets the eyes.
00:01:03.080 And we're going to explain that.
00:01:04.560 We're going to talk about why this ceasefire was signed right now, why it was signed in
00:01:11.020 the transition between Biden and Trump, and what are the consequences going forward.
00:01:15.520 And finally, we're going to revisit the story that we had in Monday's pod, where the mayor
00:01:21.420 of Denver, I described, is today's modern-day Bull Connor.
00:01:25.680 He is a recalcitrant Democrat who does not care what federal law is.
00:01:30.040 He is going to stand in the way.
00:01:31.540 He is going to stand with illegal immigrants.
00:01:33.820 He is going to stand with the criminals who are terrorizing American citizens.
00:01:37.300 And I got to tell you, the Trump administration, Tom Homan, the new border czar in the White
00:01:41.480 House has made clear, if the mayor of Denver wants to go to jail for illegal immigrants,
00:01:47.180 then the Trump administration will be more than happy to oblige.
00:01:50.020 We're going to talk about that as well.
00:01:51.640 Yeah, it's going to be very interesting to see this showdown because there are a lot of
00:01:54.800 Democrats that are like, all right, let's bring it on.
00:01:57.700 We're going to break all that down for you in a moment.
00:01:59.380 If you are thinking about Black Friday sales and you're thinking about getting something
00:02:04.640 for Christmas, well, add this to your list, and it might give you the peace of mind and
00:02:10.100 someone you love, and that is being able to protect yourself with a burner-less lethal
00:02:15.940 pistol launcher.
00:02:17.260 I have gotten these for a lot of my family members, and you are going to love this.
00:02:22.320 I want you to see what it is because it is truly a great way to protect and defend yourself,
00:02:27.980 and most importantly, put distance between you and an attacker.
00:02:32.760 Now, this is legal in all 50 states.
00:02:35.240 No permits or background checks are needed, and I own this myself.
00:02:39.740 They are great for your family members to have as well, especially if you have a daughter,
00:02:44.660 a granddaughter, or a son who is 18 or older.
00:02:48.020 Burna is the answer.
00:02:49.220 It is designed for easy use by all age groups 18 and over.
00:02:53.680 The Burna launcher has powerful deterrents like tear gas and kinetic rounds with a 60-foot
00:03:00.480 range.
00:03:01.580 One shot can incapacitate attackers for up to 40 minutes.
00:03:05.360 It is used by government agencies and law enforcement around the country.
00:03:09.520 More than a half million units have been sold, and more than 14,000 four-and-a-half-star reviews
00:03:15.380 have been given to Burna.
00:03:17.720 Maybe you don't feel comfortable carrying a firearm.
00:03:20.680 Maybe you work someplace where you're not allowed to have a firearm.
00:03:23.820 Well, the Burna less lethal pistol launcher is the answer.
00:03:27.100 Now, look, I own firearms.
00:03:28.580 I've had to use one to save my life, but I can tell you I also love knowing that I have
00:03:33.300 the Burna, and with increased crime and violence around our country, this is a great way for
00:03:39.280 you to have extra personal safety and security for you and your family and people that maybe
00:03:45.100 don't feel comfortable with a firearm or cannot carry it to where they work or maybe at where
00:03:51.600 they live.

00:04:11.200 That's B-Y-R-N-A dot com slash verdict. 0.98
00:04:14.200 All right.
00:04:14.580 So let's talk about the timing of this big announcement.
00:04:18.720 It was very clear that Joe Biden wanted this.
00:04:22.100 This very well may be his last big moment as president in the Rose Garden.
00:04:26.840 He was wanting to take major credit for this deal getting done and saying, well, now it's
00:04:32.100 time for Israel to kind of move on past killing terrorists.
00:04:35.820 Well, this war, this active and hot war between Israel and Hezbollah has been waging for 14
00:04:42.780 months now.
00:04:43.740 And it happened on October 7th, a year ago, when Hamas attacked Israel, murdered over
00:04:49.780 1,200 Israelis and in the greatest mass murder of Jews in a single day since the Holocaust.
00:04:56.740 Immediately after that, Hezbollah. 0.69
00:04:58.800 So Gaza, Hamas attacks southern Israel.
00:05:04.360 Gaza is in the southern part of Israel.
00:05:06.880 Lebanon is to the north and Hamas and Hezbollah are two separate terrorist groups, but they're
00:05:13.360 both proxies of the nation of Iran.
00:05:15.300 They're both funded by Iran.
00:05:16.700 Both Hamas and Hezbollah receive over 90% of their funds from Iran.
00:05:21.520 And so once Hamas carried out October 7th in southern Israel, Hezbollah responded by launching
00:05:28.480 thousands and thousands of missiles into northern Israel.
00:05:31.360 And as a consequence, northern Israel has evacuated.
00:05:35.020 Tens of thousands of Israeli citizens have evacuated from northern Israel, have been evacuated
00:05:40.160 for many, many months, unable to go to their homes because Hezbollah has been raining rockets
00:05:45.160 onto them.
00:05:46.460 And so Israel responded with overwhelming force, taking out Hezbollah's leadership, taking out
00:05:52.140 many, many of their terrorists, devastating their infrastructure.
00:05:56.120 And today they announced a ceasefire.
00:06:00.700 Now, Joe Biden announced the ceasefire from the Rose Garden.
00:06:06.820 And Biden said, let me quote, quote, let's be clear.
00:06:10.820 Israel did not launch this war.
00:06:14.080 The Lebanese people did not seek that war either, nor did the United States.
00:06:19.460 Security for the people of Israel and Lebanon cannot be achieved only on the battlefield.
00:06:23.140 And that's why I directed my team to work with the governments of Israel and Lebanon to forge
00:06:28.320 a ceasefire to bring a conflict between Israel and Hezbollah to a close.
00:06:33.180 Now, I got to say, that's an infuriating statement.
00:06:35.320 We're going to play more of it in just a second.
00:06:36.700 But it's an infuriating statement because it continues the Biden administration's practice
00:06:41.380 of drawing an equivalence between, gosh, you know, Hezbollah's in the wrong, Israel's
00:06:46.540 in the wrong.
00:06:47.120 They're just all in the wrong and wise old me is going to tell them to put down their
00:06:52.960 arms.
00:06:53.520 Let's be clear.
00:06:54.340 It wasn't Israel that invaded Gaza.
00:06:56.360 It was Hamas that invaded southern Israel and murdered 1,200 civilians, raped women and 0.96
00:07:02.180 little girls. 0.84
00:07:03.240 Let's be clear.
00:07:04.120 It wasn't Israel that invaded Lebanon.
00:07:06.420 Rather, it was Hezbollah that launched thousands and thousands of rockets, murdering civilians into
00:07:13.180 northern Israel.
00:07:14.020 In terms of who launched this war, it was not Israel.
00:07:18.640 And well, OK, look, you've heard me say that.
00:07:21.700 Listen to Joe Biden talking in the Rose Garden.
00:07:24.500 Getting all this done will require making some hard choices.
00:07:27.880 Israel has been told, has been bold on the battlefield.
00:07:31.880 Iran and its proxies have paid a very heavy price. 0.99
00:07:35.380 Now Israel must be bold in turning tactical gains against Iran and its proxies into a coherent 0.97
00:07:41.120 strategy that secure Israel's long term, its long term safety and advances a broader peace
00:07:48.540 and prosperity in the region.
00:07:50.180 Today's announcement is a critical step in advancing that vision.
00:07:54.520 And so I applaud the crazy decision made by the leaders of Lebanon and Israel to end the 0.89
00:07:59.280 violence.
00:07:59.740 It reminds us that peace is possible.
00:08:03.360 Say that again. 0.71
00:08:04.180 Peace is possible.
00:08:05.860 As long as that is the case, I will not for a single moment stop working to achieve it.
00:08:12.460 God bless you all.
00:08:13.480 Sorry to keep you waiting so long.
00:08:14.860 May God protect our troops.
00:08:16.200 Thank you.
00:08:17.360 I mean, Iran and its proxies have paid a very heavy price. 1.00
00:08:20.980 So therefore, stop killing terrorists.
00:08:23.040 That's a weird doctrine coming from the president of the United States of America.
00:08:27.500 Am I wrong?
00:08:29.000 You're not wrong.
00:08:30.040 And let's start with the utter incoherence.
00:08:32.520 Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and every Democrat in the Senate and the House together worked together
00:08:39.180 to send over $100 billion to Iran, to the Ayatollah Khamenei.
00:08:44.600 Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and congressional Democrats have been the greatest friend Hezbollah
00:08:49.240 and Hamas have ever had. 0.64
00:08:50.440 Why is that?
00:08:51.140 Because they flooded $100 billion into Iran, and Iran put much of that money into Hamas, 0.51
00:08:56.760 into Hezbollah, funding their terror war against Israel.
00:09:00.420 And Joe Biden doesn't put any of the fault at the feet of the terrorists.
00:09:06.320 Instead, he lectures Israel.
00:09:08.480 And look, I got to say, today in response to this deal, I put out a lengthy statement.
00:09:13.720 And I just want to share my statement with you because there's quite a bit of substance in it.
00:09:19.300 And I want to read it, and then we'll talk about what it means.
00:09:21.320 Here's the statement I put out today.
00:09:23.920 Our Israeli allies have accomplished enormous military successes over the last year against
00:09:29.320 the Iranian-controlled terrorist group Hezbollah, killing thousands of Hezbollah terrorists,
00:09:35.620 eliminating Hezbollah's entire command, and dismantling its infrastructure across Lebanon.
00:09:41.200 These actions have directly contributed to vital American national security interests,
00:09:46.760 including directly by liquidating terrorist leaders who had the blood of hundreds of Americans on their hands.
00:09:54.620 Indeed, the U.S.-Israel relationship is at the core of U.S. interests in the Middle East,
00:09:58.780 and American policy should be to provide unequivocal military and diplomatic support
00:10:03.960 to our Israeli allies to fully ensure their security.
00:10:08.680 However, the Biden administration has spent the last four years
00:10:12.900 pathologically obsessed with undermining Israel and boosting Iran, 0.91
00:10:19.360 including by coercing our Israeli allies to cede maritime territory to Hezbollah.
00:10:24.760 They are now using the transition period to the Trump administration and a Republican Congress
00:10:29.940 to try to lock in these efforts and to constrain the incoming administration
00:10:35.520 by establishing what they believe to be irreversible diplomatic, legal, and military policies.
00:10:42.820 However, these and similar international policies are not irreversible.
00:10:49.360 This month, I led a letter co-signed by 10 other senators saying that the U.S.
00:10:53.980 will fundamentally reevaluate our relationship with the United Nations and the Palestinians
00:10:59.300 if Palestinian President Abbas fulfills the pledge he made to secure Israel's expulsion
00:11:06.280 from the U.N. General Assembly.
00:11:08.800 Last week, I joined my colleagues in vowing to act against the International Criminal Court
00:11:14.080 for undermining American and Israeli interests by issuing arrest warrants for Israeli leaders,
00:11:19.800 and said everyone involved in the decision should face American sanctions.
00:11:25.620 I am deeply disturbed both by reports that Obama-Biden officials exerted enormous pressure
00:11:32.000 on our Israeli allies to accept this ceasefire,
00:11:36.080 and by how those officials are characterizing Israel's obligations.
00:11:41.120 This pressure and these statements are further efforts to undermine Israel
00:11:46.140 and constrain the incoming Trump administration.
00:11:49.780 Obama-Biden officials pressured our Israeli allies into accepting the ceasefire
00:11:55.180 by withholding weapons they needed to defend themselves and counter Hezbollah,
00:12:00.920 and by threatening to facilitate a further, broader, binding international arms embargo
00:12:07.420 through the United Nations.
00:12:09.660 Obama-Biden officials are already trying to use Israel's acceptance of this ceasefire
00:12:14.040 to ensure that Hezbollah and other Iranian terrorist groups remain intact across Lebanon
00:12:21.180 and to limit Israel's future freedom of action and self-defense.
00:12:26.200 Administration officials, including Secretary of State Blinken,
00:12:29.740 today even downplayed Israel's right under the ceasefire
00:12:33.360 to strike terrorist groups in Lebanon when those groups pose imminent threats.
00:12:39.660 These constraints have been rejected by our Israeli allies.
00:12:43.580 Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that under the ceasefire,
00:12:48.280 Israel retains full freedom of action to counter Hezbollah 0.98
00:12:52.360 if the group attacks Israel or tries to rebuild its terrorist infrastructure.
00:12:58.380 The United States should allow and assist Israel in doing so, 0.87
00:13:02.640 and I am committed to working closely with the Trump administration
00:13:05.420 and my colleagues in the incoming Congress to ensure that they are able to do so.
00:13:10.500 Canadian women are looking for more. 1.00
00:13:13.020 More out of themselves, their businesses, their elected leaders, and the world around them.
00:13:17.500 And that's why we're thrilled to introduce the Honest Talk podcast.
00:13:21.220 I'm Jennifer Stewart.
00:13:22.420 And I'm Catherine Clark.
00:13:23.640 And in this podcast, we interview Canada's most inspiring women.
00:13:27.400 Entrepreneurs, artists, athletes, politicians, and newsmakers,
00:13:30.680 all at different stages of their journey.
00:13:33.140 So if you're looking to connect, then we hope you'll join us.
00:13:36.380 Listen to the Honest Talk podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever you listen to your podcasts.
00:13:42.060 You look at that statement, and it is so 180 from the policy that we're hearing from this administration,
00:13:49.660 their ideology, they're saying it now publicly, which is,
00:13:52.660 well, we don't like it when you guys kill too many terrorists.
00:13:55.580 What's the right number?
00:13:56.540 I mean, that's a real question I think you have to ask.
00:13:59.180 How about all of them?
00:14:00.340 Right.
00:14:00.620 But they're saying basically, and I go back, not basically,
00:14:03.860 let's go back to the exact quote from Joe Biden.
00:14:07.760 Iran and its proxies have paid a very heavy price. 0.99
00:14:10.920 He's saying to Israel, all right, guys, you killed enough of them, I think, 1.00
00:14:15.640 so let the rest of them live.
00:14:17.780 How is that possible for Israel to survive, Senator, 0.99
00:14:21.620 if this is the mentality that a large part of the American government believes is what success or failure looks like?
00:14:30.540 And understand, when Biden says Iran has paid a heavy price,
00:14:34.760 today, literally while he's saying that,
00:14:38.400 Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are refusing to enforce the oil sanctions,
00:14:42.500 and so they're flowing billions of dollars to Iran right now.
00:14:46.080 That is going to end on January 20th.
00:14:48.420 One of the most significant things the incoming Trump administration is going to do
00:14:52.000 is immediately and vigorously enforce the oil sanctions,
00:14:55.800 which will bring crushing economic pressure to Iran.
00:15:00.220 But anyone who thinks that Iran, you know, Kamala Harris said in the 60 Minutes interview
00:15:04.600 that the greatest national security threat was to Iran, to America was from Iran,
00:15:09.960 and of course 60 Minutes, because they were sycophants for the administration,
00:15:13.900 didn't ask the obvious question where if they're a greatest national security threat,
00:15:17.920 why are you giving them a hundred billion dollars?
00:15:19.780 I don't understand.
00:15:20.840 People don't generally pay to arm the people who want to murder them.
00:15:25.780 That she was never forced to answer.
00:15:28.380 But even today, Joe Biden and the Democrats continue to fund Iran.
00:15:34.100 That will change on January 20th.
00:15:36.540 And understand, look, on one level,
00:15:39.000 the Wall Street Journal had an op-ed today saying what a tremendous victory this was for Israel.
00:15:43.900 because Hezbollah is incredibly weakened, and that is unquestionably true.
00:15:48.680 And it is up to Israel to make a decision whether or not to enter this ceasefire.
00:15:53.700 They made the decision to do so.
00:15:56.000 But understand, a big, big part of the reason Israel made this decision 0.56
00:16:01.640 is because the Biden administration put enormous pressure on Israel
00:16:05.360 by cutting off weapons and threatening to cut off more weapons.
00:16:09.180 And in fact, at a press conference, here's what Prime Minister Netanyahu said
00:16:13.700 were the reasons to support the deal.
00:16:15.960 He laid out three reasons.
00:16:18.060 Number one, to focus on the Iranian threat. 0.96
00:16:22.060 Number two, to provide an opportunity to refresh the Israeli forces.
00:16:26.760 And number three, to separate Hamas from the Northern Front.
00:16:31.380 Now understand, number two is basically saying,
00:16:34.020 well, the Americans have cut off our weapons,
00:16:36.280 and so we've got to do this ceasefire so we can focus on Hamas.
00:16:39.820 That is the result of this White House and Democrats undermining Israel.
00:16:44.600 I want to tell you real quick about my friends over at the USCCA,
00:16:48.640 and it is getting into that Christmas season.
00:16:51.280 How would you like to have a chance to win $1,700 to buy any self-defense gear you need?
00:16:56.720 Well, you can do that by texting the word right now, AMERICA, to 87222.
00:17:03.580 Now let me tell you about the USCCA and why they're giving away $1,700,
00:17:08.640 because they want you to be able to protect yourself.
00:17:11.780 And I've had to use a firearm to save my life,
00:17:14.080 and I wish I would have known about the USCCA.
00:17:16.460 I wish I would have been a member.
00:17:17.740 Why?
00:17:18.580 Because when you're a member of the USCCA,
00:17:21.040 not only will you get access to the Protector Academy,
00:17:24.300 which is where you learn vital skills like precision shooting
00:17:27.640 and how to fortify your home against criminals,
00:17:30.440 but you also get access to their 24-7 critical response team.
00:17:36.000 And what does that include?
00:17:37.540 It is included in that benefit,
00:17:40.360 the self-defense liability insurance.
00:17:44.380 And that is so important if you carry a firearm,
00:17:47.280 to make sure that you and your family are prepared for anything.
00:17:51.420 Now, there are a lot of activist DAs out there,
00:17:53.560 and they do not like law-abiding citizens exercising their Second Amendment right.
00:17:57.820 And that's all the more reason why you need to become a member of the USCCA.
00:18:02.360 Now, I also want to, for a limited time, give you something else.
00:18:07.040 You just text the word AMERICA right now to 87222,
00:18:10.840 and you're going to get the USCCA's free,
00:18:14.220 life-saving concealed carry and family defense guide
00:18:17.380 and a chance to win $1,700
00:18:20.080 to buy any self-defense gear you need before it's too late.
00:18:24.600 So text the word AMERICA right now to 87222.
00:18:28.620 That's text the word AMERICA to 87222
00:18:32.800 to get the free life-saving concealed carry guide
00:18:35.200 and that chance to win $1,700 right now.
00:18:39.300 Senator, let me ask you another question about the,
00:18:42.500 also when it comes to the timing of this.
00:18:44.940 There was, Israel wanted to make it clear,
00:18:47.640 they feel like the Biden administration completely abandoned them
00:18:52.880 and their leadership, which was to force them into a ceasefire.
00:18:59.380 Israeli government spokesman went on MSNBC,
00:19:02.560 and this is what he said.
00:19:04.660 On that potential ceasefire deal,
00:19:06.220 joining us now, Israeli government spokesman
00:19:08.020 in the office of the Prime Minister, David Menser.
00:19:10.220 Really good to have you.
00:19:10.980 Thank you for being with us.
00:19:12.400 Is this a permanent deal or a temporary deal?
00:19:14.880 Look, the length of the ceasefire
00:19:16.980 depends on what happens inside Lebanon.
00:19:19.560 We will certainly, from Israel's point of view, 0.93
00:19:22.300 adhere to the agreement,
00:19:23.580 but we will also insist on the agreement being enforced.
00:19:28.160 We will respond forcefully to any violations.
00:19:31.860 So with the US's understanding,
00:19:34.400 we will maintain the full freedom of military action.
00:19:37.680 Yes, of course, we want our people to go home
00:19:40.740 to their homes in sovereign Israeli territory.
00:19:43.560 But if Hezbollah violates the agreement
00:19:46.420 and tries to rearm, we will attack.
00:19:49.800 If it tries to rebuild its terrorist infrastructure 0.98
00:19:52.520 near the border, we will attack.
00:19:55.160 And the Prime Minister's made crystal clear,
00:19:57.160 if it launches rockets, if it digs tunnels,
00:20:00.660 if it brings in truckloads of rockets,
00:20:04.160 we will attack.
00:20:06.080 We all want peace in this region,
00:20:07.960 no one more than Israel,
00:20:09.300 but we will respond forcibly
00:20:11.220 to any violation of this agreement.
00:20:14.180 Does that go for the other side as well?
00:20:16.320 If Israel comes back and rearms itself 0.96
00:20:19.220 and resets for a possible future escalation,
00:20:22.940 possible future escalation in Lebanon,
00:20:25.140 is that a violation of the agreement?
00:20:27.060 I just got to stop and get your reaction to that.
00:20:29.640 It's amazing how the media here
00:20:31.520 is acting like Israel is a terrorist organization.
00:20:34.420 They should be held to the same standards
00:20:36.100 as a terrorist organization.
00:20:37.500 Like, well, hold on a second.
00:20:38.720 If you're going to hold terrorists as standards,
00:20:40.500 Israel, are you guys going to not, you know, 0.70
00:20:44.020 arm yourself?
00:20:45.020 Again, Israel is doing this in a defensive manner 0.55
00:20:47.940 because they've been attacked from all sides.
00:20:50.300 And yet NBC is asking a question
00:20:52.020 like they're a terrorist group.
00:20:53.760 That may be the most astonishing question
00:20:55.620 I've ever heard a reporter say in my life.
00:20:58.260 I want you to play that,
00:20:59.760 play just the final question again.
00:21:01.200 I want you to hear it
00:21:02.460 because this is staggering.
00:21:05.140 This is, do you have the name of this reporter?
00:21:07.340 Yeah, this is on Katie Torr's show,
00:21:10.880 NBC slash MSNBC.
00:21:13.500 And again, here's that question
00:21:15.380 as she acts like Israel is a terrorist organization.
00:21:18.520 Does that go for the other side as well?
00:21:20.500 If Israel comes back and rearms itself 0.96
00:21:23.420 and resets for a possible future escalation,
00:21:27.160 possible future escalation in Lebanon,
00:21:29.360 is that a violation of the agreement?
00:21:31.660 I mean, people wonder why the media,
00:21:35.340 no one has any faith in them anymore.
00:21:37.340 And understand, Katie Torr was a star reporter for NBC.
00:21:43.140 She was embedded with the Trump campaign in 2016.
00:21:47.080 She now has her own show on MSNBC.
00:21:50.120 And what an absurd question.
00:21:52.380 Is the agreement violated if Israel rearms itself? 0.90
00:21:56.780 Katie, Israel is a sovereign nation.
00:21:59.340 Israel is entitled to defend itself.
00:22:01.320 There's nothing in this agreement. 0.99
00:22:02.540 I mean, listen to the idiocy of, 0.99
00:22:05.620 well, doesn't this agreement say that Israel cannot have an army, 1.00
00:22:09.000 can't defend itself, has to be utterly defenseless?
00:22:11.720 Why?
00:22:12.360 Well, they committed the horrible crime of existing
00:22:15.120 when Hamas came in and murdered 1,200 innocent civilians.
00:22:18.840 Like, there is a reason that we did an episode early on after October 7th.
00:22:24.960 It's actually one of my favorite episodes entitled,
00:22:28.580 CNN is Hamas's Air Force. 0.82
00:22:30.900 So is MSNBC.
00:22:32.400 So is ABC.
00:22:33.240 By the way, you want to go back and that's one of the episodes we put on YouTube.
00:22:37.700 It's a video episode and you can watch it because we play about a dozen different clips
00:22:42.240 where the corporate media is the PR arm of Hamas.
00:22:47.380 Well, there is MSNBC being the PR arm of Hezbollah saying,
00:22:51.760 well, wouldn't it violate it if Israel rearms itself? 0.97
00:22:54.800 No, Israel has a right to defend itself and to keep the people of Israel safe.
00:23:00.480 And they are not the equivalent, as apparently MSNBC seems to think,
00:23:04.540 of the terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah that target and murder civilians.
00:23:09.840 I wish, by the way, I could say that this was the worst for Katie in this interview.
00:23:13.200 Listen to the response from the Israeli government spokesman
00:23:16.200 and then the follow-up to this about why the timing has happened now for this deal to be done.
00:23:23.500 And that's where Israel basically kind of says, like,
00:23:26.020 yeah, it's the Biden administration's fault
00:23:28.880 because they didn't give us what we need to defend ourselves.
00:23:31.060 Listen.
00:23:31.820 Of course not, Katie.
00:23:32.780 Israel is a sovereign country, not a terrorist organization.
00:23:36.620 We're talking about Hezbollah, a terrorist organization in my country.
00:23:40.460 But also, last time I checked, in your country too, Katie,
00:23:43.480 they're a terrorist organization.
00:23:44.860 They're our enemy. 0.67
00:23:45.920 But make no mistake, they're your enemy in the States as well.
00:23:48.720 So we, of course, in Israel, will defend ourselves.
00:23:51.300 That's our right, like any other country in the world, to defend ourselves.
00:23:55.560 But if this terrorist organization begins to prepare another attack against us, we will defend ourselves.
00:24:03.980 Israel reserves that right.
00:24:05.640 Is this contingent upon the U.S. on freezing weapons shipments,
00:24:09.800 specifically those one-ton bombs that Israel had been using so effectively?
00:24:15.040 Well, look, the prime minister made clear just before, a couple of hours ago,
00:24:20.280 that the reasons why this has happened now are three reasons.
00:24:23.820 It's because we want to focus now on the Iranian threat. 0.96
00:24:27.860 The prime minister didn't want to expand on that.
00:24:30.080 But we know that Iran is preparing to create a nuclear weapon.
00:24:34.060 We cannot let that happen.
00:24:36.340 We will always make that our number one priority,
00:24:39.120 because Iran say they wish to wipe this country off the face of the earth. 0.68
00:24:42.820 Katie, when they say it, we believe it.
00:24:45.420 And the second reason, of course, is to, yes, give our forces a breather
00:24:49.780 and to replenish our stocks.
00:24:52.800 And there have been big delays.
00:24:54.220 The prime minister made that clear that, yes, the U.S. is our closest ally in the world.
00:24:58.420 There are no two closer countries anywhere in the world.
00:25:01.520 But there have been big delays in weapons and munitions deliveries.
00:25:05.240 The prime minister made that clear.
00:25:06.920 And these delays, we hope, will be resolved very, very soon.
00:25:11.920 But really, the third reason for this ceasefire now is to separate,
00:25:16.340 as the prime minister said, the fronts and isolate Hamas.
00:25:20.660 From day two of this war, Hamas was counting on Hezbollah to fight by its side.
00:25:25.940 That was a massive miscalculation.
00:25:27.520 With Hezbollah now out of the picture, Hamas is left on its own, 0.59
00:25:32.240 and Israel can increase our pressure on Hamas, get our hostages home, 0.59
00:25:36.500 which is our sacred mission.
00:25:38.220 It's our number one priority.
00:25:40.080 I mean, you hear it there.
00:25:42.460 They're still like, hey, you guys let us hang out to dry.
00:25:46.400 The Biden administration did this on purpose.
00:25:48.400 We need this.
00:25:49.060 We've got to wait for Trump to come in.
00:25:50.500 Well, and that's why this ceasefire happened now,
00:25:54.140 as the Biden White House put enormous pressure on Israel to accept this deal.
00:25:58.000 Israel did, and it is rational for Israel to make the decision, 0.98
00:26:01.240 focusing on Hamas, cutting Hamas off from Hezbollah.
00:26:03.920 That is a major strategic step forward.
00:26:06.860 And so I understand why the deal was attractive.
00:26:09.580 But the deal is also, this White House is,
00:26:12.060 A, it was prompted by this White House for extended periods of time,
00:26:16.440 cutting off weapons to Israel.
00:26:17.760 But, B, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and the Democrats are trying to tie Israel's hands,
00:26:24.100 and they're trying to do it before the Trump administration comes into office.
00:26:27.880 And so what I'm trying to make clear is nothing in this deal ties Israel's hands 0.80
00:26:32.540 to protect itself, to defeat and kill terrorists.
00:26:35.940 Understand, literally, on the day of October 7th, 0.93
00:26:39.440 the Biden administration was saying publicly,
00:26:41.840 do not retaliate militarily.
00:26:44.340 They have been saying every day since October 7th happened,
00:26:48.380 stop killing terrorists.
00:26:50.600 And Israel, to its credit, and I've got to say,
00:26:52.680 the prime minister's spokesman there, I think, did a fantastic job
00:26:55.900 of articulating that Israel is going to defend itself,
00:26:59.400 whether or not Democrats in Washington are willing to support it.
00:27:03.820 Everybody's looking for the perfect Black Friday deal,
00:27:07.080 the perfect gift for the holidays.
00:27:10.040 And if you've got a hunter, if you've got a shooter in your family,
00:27:13.660 you've got to sign them up for AmmoSquared.
00:27:15.820 And I'm going to give you some free ammo in your account right now.
00:27:19.980 Now, AmmoSquared is amazing.
00:27:21.620 And if you had a hard time finding ammo during COVID
00:27:24.300 and you saw the prices go up 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, it was insane.
00:27:29.500 I owned a gun store and a gun range then.
00:27:31.920 I have never seen what happened during that time.
00:27:35.540 You literally couldn't get ammo.
00:27:37.060 Well, AmmoSquared ensures that you never have that problem again,
00:27:40.540 that you have ammo when you need it.
00:27:42.100 And it's an automated approach to purchasing ammo on any budget.
00:27:45.680 It's simple.

00:27:51.180 That's it.
00:27:52.060 Your ammo grows slowly over time and is stored for free
00:27:55.840 as it builds up and is shipped with the click of a button.
00:27:59.360 Now, unlike a traditional subscription service,
00:28:01.520 you aren't forced into a set budget and or a monthly shipment.
00:28:04.940 You decide your budget and you can change your budget whenever you want to.
00:28:08.780 And you schedule when you get your ammo shipped to you.
00:28:11.500 Now, AmmoSquared offers nearly 70 different caliber options.
00:28:15.760 And let's say you store up one caliber and then you sell that firearm
00:28:19.100 and you change to a different caliber.
00:28:21.040 Not a problem.
00:28:22.120 You can trade it back in without even having to take the shipment.
00:28:25.820 You just say, I want to switch from nine to this,
00:28:28.120 or I want to switch from this rifle to that rifle caliber.
00:28:31.200 It's no problem at all.
00:28:33.160 It's budget-friendly and customizable,
00:28:35.820 and you can buy as little as a few dollars a month.
00:28:39.140 And then everything's managed online.
00:28:42.240 Forget about moving heavy case of ammo in your garage
00:28:44.820 or trying to sell ammo as well online.
00:28:47.400 You can exchange your AmmoSquared inventory from one caliber to another,
00:28:51.500 or you can sell it and make big money if the price, in fact, goes up.

00:29:19.000 Senator, I want to move to this other topic,
00:29:21.080 and we talked about this the other day on the show,
00:29:23.620 but I want to lay it out for people.
00:29:25.120 Maybe you missed this.
00:29:26.900 The mayor of Denver, he's, like, begging to get arrested.
00:29:32.920 He's just, he's a martyr.
00:29:34.680 And he said this about illegal immigrants in sanctuary cities to remind everybody.
00:29:40.460 About civil disobedience.
00:29:41.640 You've mentioned that a couple of times now.
00:29:43.220 Would you be willing to participate in those as the mayor of Denver?
00:29:46.760 Would you be willing to go out and protest these things?
00:29:48.740 I would.
00:29:49.300 If I believe that our residents are having their rights violated,
00:29:52.720 if I think things are happening that are illegal or immoral or un-American in our city,
00:29:56.980 I would certainly protest it.
00:29:58.960 And I would expect other residents would do the same.
00:30:00.760 Trump's new borders are Tom Homan has said that he is willing to arrest leaders like yourself
00:30:07.660 for standing in the way of these policies that they want to enact.
00:30:12.840 Would you be willing to go to jail for these things?
00:30:14.920 Yeah, I'm not afraid of that.
00:30:15.740 And I'm also not seeking that.
00:30:17.900 I think the goal is we want to be able to negotiate with reasonable people how to solve hard problems.
00:30:23.720 Republican and Democratic presidents in the past have all tried to find solutions to these problems.
00:30:27.540 President Reagan helped people get access to work so they could stay and support themselves.
00:30:30.920 Biden and Harris worked on restricting entry at the border to close down.
00:30:33.420 There are a lot of ways to approach this problem.
00:30:35.240 We don't think it has to come to this.
00:30:37.540 But, yeah, I think when you look at, you know, Ralph Carr has always been one of my heroes.
00:30:40.600 He was the governor who, in the middle of the internment of Japanese-Americans,
00:30:43.380 said this was the wrong thing to do.
00:30:44.820 And he stood up.
00:30:45.780 It was unpopular.
00:30:46.720 People were mad at him about it.
00:30:47.720 That was the middle of wartime.
00:30:49.280 If the president or any of his actors are going to do things that we think are illegal or immoral or un-American,
00:30:54.560 we'll stand up against those.
00:30:55.740 Now, Senator, what did you call him again just for people that may have missed it the other day?
00:30:59.900 A modern-day Bull Connor.
00:31:02.340 Bull Connor was yet another elected Democrat who hated federal law, in this case hated federal civil rights law,
00:31:08.860 who stood up and defied federal civil rights law and said,
00:31:12.600 we're going to continue to discriminate, we're going to continue to be prejudiced.
00:31:16.380 Well, in this instance, you have the mayor of Denver saying he's going to continue to favor illegal aliens,
00:31:21.700 to defy federal immigration laws.
00:31:23.800 He's going to continue to endanger the families of Denver.
00:31:26.660 If you actually care about your children in Denver, well, the mayor's telling you you're not his priority.
00:31:32.040 His priority is protecting the Venezuelan gang members and the murderers and rapists who've been released into his community, 0.97
00:31:38.240 that he's working for them and not for you. 0.87
00:31:41.200 And the absolute smug arrogance and condescension.
00:31:44.440 By the way, he analogizes himself to people standing up to Japanese internment camps.
00:31:49.340 There's, of course, a rich irony to that because the Japanese internment camps were opened by FDR, the hero of the Democrats.
00:31:57.160 It's the Democrat Party that is over and over and over again.
00:32:00.420 You go back to the 1860s.
00:32:01.920 It was the Democrat Party that founded the Ku Klux Klan. 0.77
00:32:04.680 It was the Democrat Party that wrote the Jim Crow laws. 0.82
00:32:07.400 It was the Democrat Party that created the Japanese internment camps. 0.81
00:32:10.480 And it was the Democrat Party that were the party of Bull Connor and the Dixiecrats who stood up and fought against civil rights.
00:32:18.400 And I got to say, the mayor of Denver is continuing a proud tradition.
00:32:22.880 Well, in response to his boast, Tom Homan went on Hannity and actually responded and said,
00:32:29.920 well, OK, you've offered to be arrested.
00:32:32.880 Well, take a listen to what Tom Homan had to say in response.
00:32:35.620 Tom, you heard this mayor out there in Colorado.
00:32:43.300 I want to get your reaction to it.
00:32:45.020 And I want you to be clear about who has jurisdiction, the federal government or state and local governments.
00:32:50.200 And if you're a sanctuary state or city, are you breaking the law?
00:32:53.860 You're absolutely breaking the law.
00:32:55.080 All you have to do is look at Arizona versus U.S.
00:32:57.180 You'll see this breaking law.
00:32:58.580 But look, me and the Denver mayor, we agree on one thing.
00:33:01.460 He's willing to go to jail.
00:33:03.120 I'm willing to put him in jail.
00:33:04.320 Well, because there is a statute, it's Title 8, United States Code 1324, Triple I.
00:33:10.220 And what it says is, it's a felony if you knowingly harbor and conceal illegal alien from immigration authorities.
00:33:16.380 It's also a felony to impede a federal law enforcement officer.
00:33:19.240 So if we don't want to help, that's fine.
00:33:20.960 He can get the hell out of the way.
00:33:22.160 But we're going to go do the job.
00:33:23.820 President Trump has a mandate for American people.
00:33:25.940 We've got to secure this country.
00:33:27.360 We've got to save American lives.
00:33:28.680 And I find it shocking that any mayor of a city would say, and President Trump has made clear, we want to concentrate on public safety threats and national security threats.
00:33:36.420 I find it hard to believe that any mayor or governor would say they don't want public safety threats removed from their neighborhoods.
00:33:41.860 I mean, I don't know what the hell is going on in Denver, but we're going to go and we're going to fix it.
00:33:45.620 If you don't want to fix it, if you don't want to protect those communities, President Trump and ICE will.
00:33:50.020 I love just how matter of fact, and I feel like there's a big change coming and they're not going to screw around with these mayors and let them continue to defy the law.
00:33:59.260 I think it's a smart move to say it early on.
00:34:01.620 This is the line.
00:34:02.740 You either abide by the law or you don't.
00:34:04.900 And there will be consequences.
00:34:06.920 Well, look, that that is exactly right, that you don't have a right to defy federal law.
00:34:11.100 You don't have a right to obstruct federal agents carrying out federal law.
00:34:16.260 And by the way, to be clear, this this Democrat mayor is bluffing.
00:34:19.600 He's talking tough.
00:34:20.560 He's a I think I think his words are empty.
00:34:24.500 And in just just a couple of months, we're going to see we're going to see proof of that.
00:34:30.160 No doubt about it.
