Verdict with Ted Cruz - Media Weeps： Leftists in Angry Disbelief, ZERO Lessons to be Learned from Kamala's Crushing Loss

00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.

00:00:02.540 Guaranteed human.

00:00:05.460 Welcome.

00:00:06.260 It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you.

00:00:10.000 And Senator, I got to tell you, victory is sweet.

00:00:13.600 It's even more fun watching the media meltdown continue after they're having to deal with

00:00:18.580 the reality that not only did Donald Trump win, we got the Senate and it's clearly looking

00:00:24.320 like we actually may make gains on the House side and they can't handle it.

00:00:28.980 It's a total meltdown.

00:00:30.620 Look, the corporate media are losing their minds.

00:00:33.260 You know, there's a German word, schadenfreude, which is taking pleasure or joy from the suffering

00:00:38.320 of others.

00:00:39.020 It's not a pretty sentiment, but I got to say, watching these hardcore leftists just scream

00:00:46.260 out in agony that the voters voted and voted in a way they didn't like, it truly is.

00:00:54.040 And you know what's striking?

00:00:56.760 Their rage, their anger, not a one of them has actually learned a lesson.

00:01:01.800 Not a one of them has paused to say, huh, maybe being radical leftist and opening up the border

00:01:08.400 and threatening people's homes and screwing up the economy and driving up the cost of

00:01:12.260 everything and screwing up the country and bringing the world to war and undermining Israel 1.00

00:01:16.220 and creating an environment where anti-Semites take over college campuses and threaten our

00:01:19.880 kids.

00:01:20.500 Maybe that's a bad thing.

00:01:21.940 Maybe having moms fear for the safety of their kids is a bad thing. 1.00

00:01:25.960 None of these leftists are saying that.

00:01:27.800 Instead, they're just screaming, orange man, bad, rawr.

00:01:31.220 And it really is striking, although we're going to wrap up by pointing out the one man in

00:01:37.120 America on the Democrat side who is not sad and who is actually full of joy.

00:01:44.460 And I'm not going to tell you his name, but it rhymes with Bo Jiden.

00:01:52.780 Yeah, I've never seen a bigger grin on that man and will change his name for a little bit

00:01:58.600 ever, I think, at any point, including even on days when he thought it was probably the

00:02:04.380 best day of his life.

00:02:05.440 It's going to be quite interesting to play some of these clips.

00:02:08.620 We'll have that for you.

00:02:09.320 So let me just say Joe Biden understands schadenfreude as well.

00:02:13.420 Yeah, I said it on election night.

00:02:15.360 The only place more happier right now than the war room we were in was the White House

00:02:21.220 and sitting there just going, you guys thought you'd be better without me.

00:02:24.580 How you like me now?

00:02:25.680 Yeah, Joe Biden grinning from ear to ear and having a very interesting press conference.

00:02:30.960 We're going to dive into that in a moment.

00:02:32.480 I can tell you this week I have been running on fumes.

00:02:36.400 Actually, I've been running on a great cup of coffee, blackout coffee.

00:02:41.220 Election night, I think my monitor ring told me I got like two hours of sleep the day before

00:02:46.960 that, three the day after, about three.

00:02:49.620 And thank goodness for a premium cup of blackout coffee, not just in the morning, but in the

00:02:54.840 afternoon and in the evenings.

00:02:56.560 And if you have never tried blackout coffee, I want to save you money and I want you to

00:03:01.320 try it and get the best cup of coffee of your life.

00:03:03.940 Now, the coffee space is filled with like woke liberal companies.

00:03:08.300 And when I said that, you probably thought instantly of a couple of different name brands.

00:03:12.220 Stop giving your mind to them and also drinking average coffee.

00:03:15.720 Get a premium cup of coffee from blackout coffee.

00:03:19.900 They are 100% committed to conservative values from the sourcing of the beans, the roasting

00:03:24.280 process, customer support, shipping.

00:03:27.220 They embody true American values.

00:03:29.620 And this is the other thing.

00:03:30.740 They accept no compromise on taste or quality.

00:03:35.320 So how do you try blackout coffee?

00:03:37.700 Once you try them, you're not going to switch back.

00:03:39.660 Go to blackoutcoffee.com slash verdict and use the coupon code verdict for 20% off your

00:03:46.860 first order.

00:03:48.000 That's blackoutcoffee.com slash verdict.

00:03:51.360 Be awake, not woke.

00:03:53.240 Blackoutcoffee.com slash verdict.

00:03:56.260 And you're going to get the best cup of coffee of your life.

00:03:59.380 Promo code verdict 20% off.

00:04:01.200 All right.

00:04:01.560 So Senator, where do you want to start?

00:04:03.480 Because the media meltdown has just been fun to watch.

00:04:06.400 I've watched more MSNBC on purpose and CNN in the last 48 hours than I have in a very

00:04:13.400 long time, because like you said a moment ago, they haven't learned from this loss.

00:04:19.960 They're just crying and angry over this loss, but they didn't pay attention to American people

00:04:25.280 at all.

00:04:26.820 No, not at all.

00:04:27.520 All right.

00:04:27.660 Let's start with Morning Joe, because Morning Joe is it's a good place to start.

00:04:31.420 It's it's where lefties start their morning. 0.99

00:04:33.020 So let's start there.

00:04:33.740 I want to talk about economy for a second.

00:04:37.880 A few weeks ago, three weeks ago, somebody who was going to be voting for Kamala Harris

00:04:42.600 came up to me and said, oh, my God, Trump's going to win.

00:04:46.680 I go, why is that?

00:04:47.420 He goes, I just I went to the grocery store.

00:04:50.020 Butters over three dollars.

00:04:51.560 I kind of laughed.

00:04:52.460 And I said, I said, well, that's kind of reductive, isn't it?

00:04:56.660 Said it to myself to him.

00:04:58.060 I smiled.

00:04:58.580 I said, good point.

00:04:59.340 Um, but it actually what everything we're hearing after the election is, it is the seven.

00:05:07.880 What's that?

00:05:09.200 The seven dollars.

00:05:10.280 What's that?

00:05:11.380 Butter is seven dollars.

00:05:13.280 Yeah.

00:05:14.520 What?

00:05:15.240 Is it framed in gold?

00:05:17.140 Yeah.

00:05:17.560 Okay.

00:05:18.980 Anyway, where you go.

00:05:20.280 But OK, well, yeah, OK, well, anyway, my point is this, Willie, the rent is too damn high.

00:05:28.420 And this guy was saying the cost of butter is way damn too high.

00:05:31.720 Yeah.

00:05:31.960 And so I thought it was a bit reductive.

00:05:34.720 It ended up being just the point that if you look at the cost of groceries, if you look

00:05:40.760 at the cost of grass, of gas, if you look at the cost of things compared to four years

00:05:46.820 ago, it was a very simple answer for working class Americans.

00:05:52.400 Things just cost too much.

00:05:54.040 Yeah.

00:05:54.360 Yeah.

00:05:54.660 No question about it.

00:05:55.440 By the way, seven.

00:05:56.600 I mean, I love how the fact there he's he's like, oh, wait, it's seven.

00:06:01.280 It's seven dollars.

00:06:02.620 This is the elitism of the left.

00:06:04.500 They have no idea what's happening in real America.

00:06:07.300 And Mika's like, dude, it's not three dollars, not four dollars, not five dollars, not six

00:06:11.160 to seven dollars for butter.

00:06:12.340 And he couldn't believe it.

00:06:13.300 I'm like, if you guys would have figured that out before Election Day, maybe you wouldn't 0.98

00:06:16.380 have sucked so bad. 0.99

00:06:17.520 OK, Ben, let me call a little BS on you. 0.99

00:06:20.140 What?

00:06:20.540 I can't wait.

00:06:21.400 Do you have any idea how much butter costs?

00:06:23.400 Oh, you have no idea, dude.

00:06:24.800 I do a lot of the grocery shopping.

00:06:26.240 OK, so I in Casa Cruz, I am not the grocery shopper.

00:06:30.180 Like I just that's that.

00:06:31.500 I go things that are on my plate thing, things that are on Heidi's plate.

00:06:35.300 I am not the grocery shopper, although I will say tonight I went and bought some cheddar

00:06:39.820 cheese because Caroline decided to make back baked mac and cheese. 1.00

00:06:43.380 And so she so she sent me out to buy cheddar.

00:06:45.160 So I bought cheddar.

00:06:46.640 But I if you asked me how much is butter, I would have no idea.

00:06:51.740 And so I actually Googled.

00:06:53.340 I'm like, all right, three dollars, seven dollars beats the hell out of me.

00:06:56.140 So I Googled how much is butter.

00:06:57.780 And let me just tell you what Google said.

00:06:59.660 So unsalted butter curbside at Target is four dollars and twenty nine cents.

00:07:04.720 Land O'Lakes half stick salted butter is four dollars and fifty nine cents.

00:07:08.340 And then some weird ass thing called Kerrygold pure Irish butter. 1.00

00:07:13.720 How much do you think that is? 0.97

00:07:15.340 I'm oh, and see, Irish brother is next level.

00:07:17.620 It tastes a lot better, by the way.

00:07:18.880 I'm going to that that stuff is legit.

00:07:21.200 I'm going to go eight, nine bucks.

00:07:23.480 One hundred and thirty five dollars.

00:07:24.740 OK, that's that's another level that I've never seen before.

00:07:28.020 Like this, like coated in gold.

00:07:29.640 Maybe that like and by the way, dollar general butter is three dollars.

00:07:36.180 Now, this may be in Houston.

00:07:37.700 I don't know.

00:07:38.020 Maybe in D.C. it is seven at Kroger.

00:07:42.020 A Land O'Lake salted butter two pack is nine ninety nine.

00:07:47.100 So by the way, you need to try you some if we're talking about butter here.

00:07:50.800 If you've never tried Kerrygold butter on a bagel or toast.

00:07:54.200 Oh, my gosh.

00:07:55.020 It is unbelievable.

00:07:56.480 Yeah, I look, I am not not a terribly fancy.

00:08:01.420 I'm not a cook and I'm not a terribly fancy eater.

00:08:03.600 But so you want to know the true reason why I do grocery shopping?

00:08:07.220 Sure.

00:08:08.120 It's maybe the first only time I'll ever throw my wife under the bus on the show. 1.00

00:08:12.200 It's because I know how much money I save when I go to the grocery store instead of her going.

00:08:16.600 Because when she goes, it's like the organic and all that stuff starts speaking to her.

00:08:21.040 And it's like, you know, chickens that were coddled for six months before they killed the chicken is like, you know, eight ninety nine a pound.

00:08:28.840 And I'm like, I'm good with a three fifty three eighty four dollar pound chicken.

00:08:32.300 And so I just go for economic reasons because I save so much money when I do shopping.

00:08:36.440 Look, I have to admit, when I do grocery shopping, I either buy junk or I buy fruit.

00:08:40.740 I like fruit.

00:08:41.520 So I'll go pick out fresh fruit and get, you know, grapes or cherries or nectarines.

00:08:46.460 And so I'll buy fruit and then I'll buy junk.

00:08:49.080 I'll buy things like, you know, lunchables like the, you know.

00:08:52.940 Remember, Heidi's a vegetarian. 0.96

00:08:53.960 So so so I'll get, you know, those things like the cracker and cheese and little little piece of ham or something.

00:08:59.600 If you're bacheloring it up for for everybody listening.

00:09:02.980 And I think I know the answer to this.

00:09:05.220 But if you're bachelor, if it's just you grocery store buying for you, what is that?

00:09:10.060 Is it a lunchable or is it?

00:09:11.420 I mean, because usually I remember a can of soup.

00:09:13.800 All right.

00:09:14.140 So you've been to my apartment in D.C.

00:09:16.360 Yeah, it is literally a bachelor kitchen.

00:09:21.180 Like there's nothing in the kitchen.

00:09:23.120 I may have like some three week old leftovers with mold growing on them.

00:09:27.780 He's not lying, folks.

00:09:29.120 Three bottles of beer.

00:09:30.660 And that's pretty much like it's just an empty fridge.

00:09:34.140 And so here, look, here at home, I'll have tortillas with melted cheese like that.

00:09:39.880 That's my favorite late night snack is take take take a slice of cheese, throw it on a tortilla.

00:09:46.520 Nuke it for for a minute.

00:09:47.840 Roll it up.

00:09:48.560 And that that I like.

00:09:50.040 And then chunky soup.

00:09:50.940 But I but I am not.

00:09:53.380 Are you at least an H.E.B. tortilla guy?

00:09:55.600 Because that's mandatory in our house.

00:09:57.900 Oh, I'll eat any kind of tortilla.

00:09:59.340 Mission tortillas are good.

00:10:00.560 Like H.E.B.

00:10:01.340 What I like.

00:10:01.820 I'm I discriminate.

00:10:04.020 I am not a food snob.

00:10:06.380 It's actually I like good food.

00:10:08.680 I just like crappy food, too.

00:10:10.020 I'm like just kind of across the board.

00:10:11.760 See, my boys love it when when the wife's out of town because we just go to the grocery 0.55

00:10:17.660 and I might get whatever you want and we'll buy the frozen pizzas and we'll buy the like

00:10:22.300 like you said, like the Lunchables, whatever it is, the toaster strudels.

00:10:25.320 I might get it all, boys.

00:10:26.720 Mom's gone.

00:10:27.580 Rules are off.

00:10:28.840 We don't have to worry about it.

00:10:29.820 So today today for breakfast last lunch, I ordered on delivery breakfast tacos and I

00:10:37.160 had a chorizo egg and cheese taco for lunch.

00:10:40.680 I love it.

00:10:41.640 That's the American dream right there.

00:10:43.080 Yeah, it's good stuff.

00:10:44.140 But anyway, the point, it is kind of amusing the back and forth between Joe and Mika and

00:10:50.620 they're suddenly realizing, well, inflation is really bad.

00:10:54.460 Now let's go.

00:10:55.280 Now let's go to the sort of bitter, bitter, angry leftists.

00:10:59.520 And of course, by that, I mean the view, which there is, there are no bit more bitter or

00:11:03.400 norm, no more angry leftists.

00:11:05.580 Take a listen to the views explaining the picture.

00:11:08.460 They came out in all black the day after the election.

00:11:10.840 Just so people know, if you don't watch the view, like it was a funeral, they were wearing

00:11:14.720 all black on the view.

00:11:18.080 That's rich, right? 0.99

00:11:19.920 They are rich and they hate, they hate average Americans.

00:11:24.700 They look down on us.

00:11:25.600 And here, listen, and I'm going to prove that that statement is not.

00:11:29.520 Not too extreme because, because you're going to see Sonny Hostin demonstrating just how

00:11:35.480 much she despises average Americans.

00:11:38.240 And finally, we talk a lot about these different demographics and these assumptions of where

00:11:42.200 they're going to go.

00:11:43.060 Latinos in Texas, a district that's 97% Latino, went 75 percentage points for Donald Trump.

00:11:49.460 Why?

00:11:50.060 Misogyny.

00:11:50.460 No, it's on the border.

00:11:52.200 It's misogyny.

00:11:52.500 The border crisis is on their doorstep.

00:11:54.640 And they were begging people to care about it for years.

00:11:57.020 We need to take some lessons.

00:11:58.180 That's what that was.

00:11:58.860 The lessons are not misogyny.

00:12:00.540 Knock, knock. 0.93

00:12:00.580 Who's there?

00:12:01.420 Oh my gosh, it's whooping.

00:12:04.460 Misogyny and sexism.

00:12:08.300 That's what she says.

00:12:08.460 And by the way, she's talking about South Texas.

00:12:10.480 She's talking about Hispanics.

00:12:12.680 And apparently, and it wasn't just Hispanic men that were voting for Donald Trump.

00:12:17.040 It was Hispanic women too. 1.00

00:12:18.140 So apparently, Hispanic women are motivated by misogyny and sexism. 1.00

00:12:22.340 They just don't like women. 1.00

00:12:23.280 That's the only explanation.

00:12:25.180 Not that having 11.5 million people invade your state, invade your community, threaten 0.86

00:12:30.980 your kids.

00:12:31.980 Not having 110,000 people die of fentanyl and drug overdoses.

00:12:35.280 None of that.

00:12:35.720 No, no, no. 0.99

00:12:35.980 It's just you hate women. 1.00

00:12:37.240 Listen, if you didn't vote for Kamala Harris, you've got to just, you've got to say, you

00:12:42.040 know what, I'm willing for my family to be sacrificed because I am a woke leftist.

00:12:47.120 I mean, listen to the contempt that there's no part of Sonny that's trying to say, huh,

00:12:55.200 an overwhelmingly Hispanic district went overwhelmingly for Trump.

00:12:59.440 And by the way, in Texas, Trump carried Hispanics and I carried Hispanics.

00:13:03.140 I carried Hispanics statewide by six points and no part of Sonny could say, well, why

00:13:08.280 is that?

00:13:08.900 Is there maybe something about the current radical agenda of the left that is turning

00:13:15.120 people off?

00:13:15.720 Nope.

00:13:16.100 Nope. 0.99

00:13:16.660 Apparently, everyone's just a racist and a bigot. 0.98

00:13:18.980 That's the only explanation possible.

00:13:21.360 Canadian women are looking for more, more of themselves, their businesses, their elected 0.99

00:13:25.900 leaders, and the world around them.

00:13:27.640 And that's why we're thrilled to introduce the Honest Talk podcast.

00:13:31.380 I'm Jennifer Stewart.

00:13:32.300 And I'm Catherine Clark.

00:13:33.860 And in this podcast, we interview Canada's most inspiring women, entrepreneurs, artists,

00:13:38.900 athletes, politicians, and newsmakers, all at different stages of their journey.

00:13:43.300 So if you're looking to connect, then we hope you'll join us.

00:13:46.540 Listen to the Honest Talk podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever you listen to your podcasts.

00:13:52.240 And it didn't get any better, by the way, because if you move from Sonny Hosted, you go over

00:13:57.240 to Rachel Maddow.

00:13:58.380 She took a different approach, and that was a tirade where she basically fear-mongered what 0.96

00:14:07.180 this country is turning into.

00:14:09.380 It reminded me a lot of 2016, except there's more hatred for Trump now than there even was

00:14:15.060 in 16.

00:14:16.240 But take a listen to MSNBC's, like, Obituary for America.

00:14:20.920 But now history doesn't end.

00:14:22.680 Time doesn't stop.

00:14:24.440 Now we have the benefit of knowing, you know, how this has gone in every other country that

00:14:29.480 has been through a democracy to authoritarian transition.

00:14:33.740 And sadly, there are a lot of them.

00:14:35.380 We have the benefit of seeing what's happened in those other countries, though.

00:14:39.460 And what we know is that the more ground the authoritarian takes, the harder it is to ever

00:14:46.200 get that ground back.

00:14:47.760 And so the first order of business is to stop them from taking any uncontested ground right

00:14:54.240 from the outset when it comes to what our system of government is and what our democracy is.

00:14:58.780 Right?

00:14:59.220 From other countries' experiences that quickly, I mean, now, in the next few weeks, if not the

00:15:04.200 next few days, they are going to start pushing to see how far the country is going to let them

00:15:09.660 go without pushback, without protest.

00:15:13.820 And part of this is because it's just psychologically advantageous for them to do this now, right?

00:15:18.860 They're counting on the half the country that voted against them, the half the country that

00:15:24.040 doesn't want to give up our system of government.

00:15:25.940 They're counting on all those tens of millions of Americans to be despondent, to feel powerless,

00:15:30.940 to check out, which, of course, would mean letting them do what they want, letting them

00:15:37.000 run the table.

00:15:37.800 What they really don't want is for the half the country that voted against them, the half

00:15:42.760 the country that wants to keep our democracy, what they really don't want is for those tens 1.00

00:15:47.120 of millions of Americans to wake up tomorrow feeling scrappy as hell.

00:15:51.940 So there's your pep talk, Senator.

00:15:54.320 It's there.

00:15:55.480 We've got a tyrant and a dictator and half of America must not be silent, even though the

00:16:02.260 majority of Americans, and I can't wait to throw this in liberals' faces all the time,

00:16:06.680 Donald Trump just won the popular vote, too.

00:16:09.600 So the majority of Americans said Donald Trump is who they want, not you, not Kamala Harris.

00:16:15.920 And so you need to stop acting like the majority of the country was just disenfranchised.

00:16:20.200 They were not.

00:16:20.920 And the popular vote proves that.

00:16:23.720 Ben, explain something to me.

00:16:25.000 I, at times, have trouble understanding what passes for think processes among radical leftists.

00:16:32.380 Rachel Maddow just said, those Americans who want to save our democracy need to rage against 0.99

00:16:40.240 how the damn people voted. 0.99

00:16:41.860 But, like, okay, wait, democracy, to quote Inigo Montoya, you keep on using that word. 1.00

00:16:47.420 I don't think it means what you think it means.

00:16:49.520 Like, she's claiming to be a defender of democracy, and her answer is, screw the voters for voting 1.00

00:16:56.840 for something I don't like. 0.99

00:16:59.000 And I, Rachel Maddow, I, the left, we should impose our views on you, whatever the damn voters 0.99

00:17:05.500 say. 0.99

00:17:06.240 It doesn't matter.

00:17:07.500 We're going to impose it.

00:17:08.480 Why?

00:17:08.900 Because we believe in democracy so much, we want to ignore what the voters voted for.

00:17:14.080 This is, goes back to what the Democrats did in 2016.

00:17:18.420 And at least they're consistent.

00:17:19.980 When they don't get their way now, their job, they feel like their job is to, okay, we

00:17:24.600 just overthrow the will of the people.

00:17:26.180 We have a clear attempt against whoever's sitting there.

00:17:27.840 Play the next Rachel Maddow clip.

00:17:30.380 Then the decisive result of this election gives us not just an answer to the question as to

00:17:36.120 what Americans want to do along those lines.

00:17:38.980 It also gives us a really big to-do list as Americans.

00:17:41.840 If you are an American citizen who does not want to ashcan the American system of government,

00:17:48.160 who doesn't want a strongman authoritarian system where the whole government is one guy

00:17:52.520 and everything else just exists to serve him, if that is not the kind of country that you

00:17:57.580 want, then yesterday's election means you have more to do for your country than you have

00:18:03.520 ever done before.

00:18:04.800 Because now is when the rubber really hits the road, right?

00:18:07.980 We don't just flip a switch and the American system of government is gone.

00:18:12.180 Democracy is gone.

00:18:13.080 It doesn't work like that.

00:18:14.100 I mean, not to be boring here for a second, but just getting very real, we now are just

00:18:23.680 another one in the list of countries that has decided to, you know, hey, what the heck?

00:18:30.360 Let's try the strongman thing.

00:18:32.580 Let's let democracy go.

00:18:34.120 Let's put in an all-powerful guy instead.

00:18:36.840 See how it goes.

00:18:38.300 There are many more countries in the world governed by that kind of a system than there are governed

00:18:42.460 by ours.

00:18:43.120 We are the only 248-year-old multiracial, pluralistic democracy in the world.

00:18:48.820 And shall we keep it?

00:18:50.780 A lot of our fellow Americans say we shouldn't.

00:18:53.620 Now we know.

00:18:54.240 Now we know for sure.

00:18:55.380 But a lot of Americans, tens of millions of Americans, say we should keep that system,

00:19:01.160 which means time to fight for it.

00:19:04.620 And yes, Americans did fight for it by working on this election, by trying to get the candidate

00:19:09.740 elected who was both the Democrat and the small-D Democrat.

00:19:14.900 She didn't win.

00:19:15.660 The strongman candidate won instead.

00:19:17.540 But now history doesn't end.

00:19:20.160 Time doesn't stop.

00:19:21.700 Now we have the benefit of knowing, you know, how this has gone in every other country that

00:19:27.020 has been through a democracy to authoritarian transition.

00:19:31.320 And sadly, there are a lot of them.

00:19:32.900 We have the benefit of seeing what's happened in those other countries, though.

00:19:36.980 And what we know is that the more ground the authoritarian takes, the harder it is to ever

00:19:43.740 get that ground back.

00:19:45.300 And so the first order of business is to stop them from taking any uncontested ground right

00:19:51.780 from the outset.

00:19:53.420 I mean, what else can you say?

00:19:55.460 These people are deranged at this point on the media.

00:19:58.400 So Rachel Maddow just said that Americans just voted to end our, quote, multiracial,

00:20:03.960 pluralistic democracy.

00:20:05.520 Now, number one, the fact that they voted shows they didn't vote to end democracy.

00:20:11.940 Now, technically speaking, we have a republic, not a democracy, but it is a democratic republic.

00:20:16.060 It is a republic where the representatives are elected by the people.

00:20:19.000 And in this case, the voters not only voted for Donald Trump, they voted for Republican

00:20:24.080 senators, not only to give Republicans a majority in the Senate.

00:20:26.800 It looks like they voted for a majority in the House, too.

00:20:29.140 And you know what?

00:20:29.800 The leftists hate the fact that the people voted for a policy agenda that includes low

00:20:35.420 taxes and low regulations and lots of jobs, that includes spending restraint and inflation

00:20:39.760 under control, that includes the federal government not waging war on American energy production 0.96

00:20:44.040 and driving up costs and driving up inflation, that includes securing the damn border and 0.93

00:20:49.160 not allowing 11 and a half million people to invade this country, not making billions of 0.99

00:20:52.860 dollars from Mexican drug cartels, not allowing children to be trafficked.

00:20:56.880 It includes not losing 300,000 children, which is what Joe Biden and Kamala Harris has done.

00:21:03.280 And by the way, when she's talking about, you know, we just voted to end a multiracial, 0.98

00:21:07.540 pluralistic democracy. 0.99

00:21:09.440 Well, just a minute ago, Sonny Hostin was saying, those damn Hispanics, how could they vote for 1.00

00:21:14.360 this? 1.00

00:21:14.760 Let's be clear.

00:21:16.240 It doesn't matter if you're a white man or Hispanic or African-American. 0.94

00:21:23.420 If you don't vote the way leftists want you to, they hate you.

00:21:27.620 I'll tell you, in Texas in this last election, I won a majority of Hispanics.

00:21:31.300 I won 20 percent of African-American men in the state of Texas.

00:21:34.780 Now, I wish that were 50 percent or higher, but 20 percent is a high water mark.

00:21:39.720 And in Rachel Maddow's world, those people who voted for me, who voted for Donald Trump,

00:21:45.600 they don't count as African-Americans.

00:21:47.980 It is truly.

00:21:50.100 And let me make another point.

00:21:52.180 They're going on and on about an authoritarian and authoritarian.

00:21:55.260 Donald Trump was president for four years.

00:21:57.720 He didn't do anything that was authoritarian.

00:21:59.340 He followed the law.

00:22:00.120 By the way, the reason we're going to get good laws passed is we didn't just elect Trump.

00:22:04.680 We elected a Republican Senate, a Republican House.

00:22:06.620 So the democratic system worked and people said, we don't like your policies.

00:22:10.420 We're going to switch back to the ones we like.

00:22:12.700 And the administration that has been dictatorial has been Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

00:22:18.700 You want to talk about authoritarian?

00:22:20.840 Having a president say, I'm going to defy federal immigration laws and just let people go. 0.70

00:22:26.640 That's authoritarian.

00:22:27.900 It's lawless.

00:22:28.500 Having an administration say, I'm going to give away a trillion dollars in a student loan giveaway

00:22:32.920 that is totally contrary to federal law.

00:22:35.120 It has to be struck down by the Supreme Court.

00:22:37.360 That is authoritarian.

00:22:38.820 Having an administration issue an edict, you must get a COVID vaccine or we will fire you.

00:22:45.220 We will fire you from the military.

00:22:46.520 We'll fire you from the federal government.

00:22:47.900 We'll force your private employer to fire you.

00:22:50.760 We don't care if you want to choose to get this vaccine or not.

00:22:53.760 We will force it on you.

00:22:55.000 By the way, that was struck down by the Supreme Court as well.

00:22:56.840 You know what you call all of that?

00:22:58.960 Authoritarian.

00:22:59.800 And the leftists, they never acknowledge a moment of that.

00:23:03.480 And let me be clear.

00:23:04.460 Let's go back to The View.

00:23:05.340 So, as you know, I've been on The View three times with my last several books.

00:23:12.960 You know, the last book I wrote, Unwoke, The View said, nope, we won't have you on because

00:23:16.760 it went so badly for them because they can only sit there and lie when they don't actually

00:23:22.760 face facts to the contrary.

00:23:25.020 And so they want to live in an utterly fact-free environment where they can lie to the American

00:23:30.860 people.

00:23:31.860 Yeah, they do it well.

00:23:33.080 They do it well every day.

00:23:34.400 And proof of it is how they've been acting since Election Day, which I think is the most

00:23:38.980 surprising.

00:23:39.680 But also for me, part of me just says, I'm kind of glad they don't get it.

00:23:43.460 It's going to make it easier for us to win elections and move forward because it seems

00:23:47.660 like they refused to admit when they lost, why they lost and how they lost.

00:23:52.260 And they didn't listen to the American people.

00:23:54.500 All right.

00:23:55.180 Go back to The View.

00:23:56.140 Play the next clip from Sonny again.

00:23:58.760 Again, I'm profoundly disturbed that the 14th Amendment of the Constitution did not prevent

00:24:03.980 someone who participated in an insurrection from becoming president of the United States.

00:24:09.580 I think that going forward, the convicted felon box on employment applications better be taken

00:24:15.500 off because if you can be the president of the United States, then you should not be prevented

00:24:21.380 from employment in this country because I remember applying for my jobs as a federal prosecutor

00:24:27.000 and there was a box for convicted felons.

00:24:29.540 Well.

00:24:29.800 And so that box better be taken off.

00:24:32.100 And I think our health care system is now at risk.

00:24:35.160 I think.

00:24:36.240 No fluoride for anyone.

00:24:37.520 Yeah, economists have made clear that he's going to increase the debt by $7.75 trillion.

00:24:45.960 I'm worried about mass deportation and internment camps.

00:24:49.200 And I'm also worried about Elon Musk warning Americans to prepare for temporary hardship.

00:24:55.400 All right.

00:24:56.220 So let's break several things down.

00:24:57.720 First of all, saying take the felon box off of the job application.

00:25:04.320 You know, the irony is there's only one reason that Trump is a convicted felon because her

00:25:08.640 party, the radical left Democrats, abused the justice system to go after and try to subvert

00:25:14.100 democracy.

00:25:15.160 By the way, one of the great things, the Department of Justice is dismissing all those cases because

00:25:18.840 now that he's won, the DOJ has a longstanding rule that it won't prosecute and can't prosecute

00:25:23.760 a sitting president.

00:25:24.840 And it looks like all these cases are going to be thrown out.

00:25:26.900 So understand the only reason they can call him a convicted felon is because they were

00:25:31.420 a bunch of authoritarian zealots who abused the justice system to try to stop the voters

00:25:36.020 from doing what they just did on Tuesday.

00:25:38.380 And then her comment, I'm worried about mass deportation and internment camps.

00:25:43.960 Let's break that down one piece at a time.

00:25:46.780 Mass deportation.

00:25:47.680 Well, you know what?

00:25:48.100 She should worry about that.

00:25:49.200 If you're a drug trafficker, if you're a human trafficker, if you're a felon, if you're 1.00

00:25:52.460 a murderer, if you're a rapist, we're going to find you. 1.00

00:25:54.380 We're going to arrest you. 1.00

00:25:55.120 We're going to get you out of this country. 0.64

00:25:56.320 You're going to be deported.

00:25:57.800 And I'm sorry, Sonny, that you are lamenting it.

00:25:59.840 But I also feel confident that you have armed security protecting you at all time.

00:26:03.300 And you're not worried about Venezuelan gangs taking over your apartment building because 0.88

00:26:06.680 you don't actually live in an apartment building.

00:26:08.380 The rest of America is going to feel a lot happier when we're deporting violent criminals

00:26:12.380 that your party let in.

00:26:14.260 And then internment camps.

00:26:16.100 And let's break it into a couple of pieces.

00:26:17.580 Number one, Benjamin, history quiz.

00:26:21.440 Which president of the United States set up internment camps?

00:26:24.820 I'm going to go with a Democrat.

00:26:26.760 Is that a final answer?

00:26:28.000 Can I put that in my jeopardy with all my money on it?

00:26:30.740 Not only a Democrat, but the granddaddy of them all, the lion of the left, FDR, Franklin

00:26:37.300 Delano Roosevelt, who I'm pretty sure on the view, if they reference FDR, they require

00:26:43.100 Gregorian monks in the banks back to saying, oh, of course, they don't believe in monks

00:26:47.940 either.

00:26:48.180 So they wouldn't let that happen.

00:26:49.100 But FDR set up internment camps for Japanese citizens, wildly unconstitutional, wildly illegal.

00:26:57.660 Thankfully, we now recognize that as a grotesque abuse.

00:27:01.620 But that's never been done by a Republican.

00:27:03.520 Donald Trump was president.

00:27:04.400 Were there any internment camps?

00:27:05.580 No.

00:27:06.180 But it doesn't stop the left from their fever dream.

00:27:09.860 And by the way, you know what she really means is internment camps?

00:27:13.220 She means detention facilities for illegal immigrants, which she'll call the internment 0.52

00:27:17.040 camps.

00:27:17.600 And to be clear, Kamala Harris promised when she was running for president that on her first

00:27:21.920 day, she would shut down all the ICE detention camps.

00:27:24.380 So a detention camp for someone who enters the country illegally is not an internment camp.

00:27:29.600 What's the difference?

00:27:31.160 All right.

00:27:31.460 This is where hopefully verdict does some good.

00:27:34.980 If you have a murderer and you convict him of murder and you send him to jail, is the

00:27:40.300 jail an internment camp?

00:27:42.080 No.

00:27:42.920 Why?

00:27:43.420 Because he's been convicted of a crime.

00:27:45.920 If someone crosses into this country illegally and they are detained and they're detained in

00:27:49.600 a detention facility, is that an internment camp?

00:27:51.980 No.

00:27:52.800 Why?

00:27:53.400 Because the law provides you can't cross any legally and you can be detained for doing so

00:27:57.640 while your deportation proceedings are pending.

00:27:59.860 An internment camp, what FDR did is he rounded up Japanese citizens who had not broken any 0.71

00:28:05.180 law.

00:28:05.540 They were American citizens of Japanese descent.

00:28:08.720 So they were law-abiding Americans living their life.

00:28:11.720 And FDR said, if you're of Japanese descent, we're going to arrest you and throw you in a 1.00

00:28:16.600 camp simply because you're Japanese and we're in World War II and we're at war with Japan. 0.64

00:28:21.060 That was grotesquely bigoted and it was directly contrary to the Constitution.

00:28:26.860 You can't arrest someone who's a law-abiding American citizen who hadn't broken the law.

00:28:31.620 But of course, on The View, everything I just said, they don't have anyone who says that.

00:28:36.260 Instead, they just nod vapidly and said, yes, he's an authoritarian.

00:28:39.520 It's terrible.

00:28:40.420 And they ignore that their party is the one who has been engaged in authoritarian lawlessness.

00:28:45.780 I want to talk to you real quick about our friends over at IFCJ and the incredible work

00:28:51.280 that they're doing for the people that are hurting in Israel.

00:28:53.620 This past year, not only have we seen the war rage on in the Holy Land, but we've also

00:28:59.700 seen an alarming rise in anti-Semitism.

00:29:02.960 Some of it even playing out in this presidential election.

00:29:05.380 And that's why I am proud of the partnership with the International Fellowship of Christians

00:29:11.180 and Jews.

00:29:12.220 They've been building bridges between Christians and Jews for over 40 years.

00:29:16.100 And since that time, they've been on the ground helping the vulnerable and providing

00:29:20.160 security for Jews in both Israel and also Ukraine.

00:29:24.400 Thank you for your support during this critical time because your gifts have helped the fellowship

00:29:29.100 provide not only food and necessities, but also security for those most in need.

00:29:35.940 Standing with Israel and the Jewish people has never meant so much.

00:29:40.720 And if you have not gotten involved with IFCJ, I want you to find out more by going to support

00:29:46.500 IFCJ.org.

00:29:48.760 You can learn more and make a gift right now.

00:29:52.760 Many of the armored ambulances and temporary bunkers that have been put up have been built

00:29:58.840 and given those military, those armed vehicles by members of the IFCJ.

00:30:04.460 So if you want to know that you're making a difference, no matter what you give, look at what they do at IFCJ.

00:30:10.900 Go to support IFCJ.org to learn more and make a gift.

00:30:14.260 That's support IFCJ.org all together.

00:30:18.420 Or you can call them 888-488-IFCJ.

00:30:23.560 That's 888-488-IFCJ.

00:30:28.040 888-488-4325.

00:30:31.500 Senator, one other thing that I also thought was really shocking just of the takeaway is,

00:30:36.720 look, whether I'm on a campaign that wins or a campaign that loses, one thing I've always learned early on in my career is

00:30:47.080 you better take notes.

00:30:49.720 And the notes can be, hey, we won, but what can we do better next time?

00:30:53.200 What did we mess up that we don't want to make the same mistakes?

00:30:56.020 I keep a notebook.

00:30:57.240 I have a notebook of every campaign I've been involved in.

00:31:00.920 And I go back through it during campaign season and read it because you learn from your mistakes when you win

00:31:07.300 and you learn from your mistakes when you lose.

00:31:09.660 There seems to be no self-awareness here at all from the Democratic Party in general over this loss.

00:31:16.820 And this loss was big.

00:31:18.700 You look at California and how many people voted actually for conservatives there at numbers that were historic in some areas.

00:31:25.960 New York, look at the numbers there, historic in some areas.

00:31:29.640 You, for example, having an almost 10-point margin of victory over a candidate they just pumped money into the state. 0.93

00:31:36.680 It was a good old Texas ass-whooping, as I described it on Fox Business Channel earlier. 0.95

00:31:42.580 There seems to be no self-awareness at all. 0.97

00:31:45.920 And is that going to be their downfall moving forward?

00:31:48.400 I kind of hope it is.

00:31:50.380 Yeah, look, unfortunately, I wish some Democrats would recognize we've gotten too extreme.

00:31:55.040 Let's adjust.

00:31:55.800 Let's move towards the middle.

00:31:57.280 Let's find common ground.

00:31:58.380 That would be good for America. 0.72

00:31:59.840 I don't think they're there yet. 0.93

00:32:01.140 I think it is going to take a couple more, as you put it, good old-fashioned ass-whippings to let them change. 0.52

00:32:10.260 And you mentioned California.

00:32:12.080 Listen, California is going to play a pivotal role in ensuring that Republicans have the majority in the House of Representatives.

00:32:17.720 And yet, California Democrats are, I want you to listen to Eric Swalwell, who, you know, I mean, he really liked the folks on The View.

00:32:25.040 He's just kind of a hard, angry leftist.

00:32:26.940 But I want you to listen to his analysis of why the Democrats lost.

00:32:31.760 People resent when you talk to them like you're trying to win a Harvard Law School moot court competition, as opposed to just, you know, talking to somebody at a bar or at the bus stop.

00:32:42.960 And I think we would be better served if we led with our personality rather than policy.

00:32:49.740 And our personalities can reflect our values, our principles, what we care about.

00:32:54.320 But too often, we're just not plain-spoken enough.

00:32:59.080 And frankly, we're too nice and too modest, and we stand on virtue. 1.00

00:33:03.860 I mean, basically, if you didn't vote for us, you're all a bunch of deplorables, garbage, Nazis. 1.00

00:33:12.360 We hate you all, and you're stupid. 1.00

00:33:14.920 Yeah, I've got to say, when Eric Swalwell's diagnosis of the problem of Democrats is that they're, quote, too nice, too modest, and stand on virtue. 1.00

00:33:26.860 Like, that truly is disconnected from reality.

00:33:29.900 This is while Kamala Harris is screaming Trump is Hitler.

00:33:32.740 This is while leftists on TV are saying he's authoritarian and is going to set up internment camps. 0.99

00:33:37.260 This is while Joe Biden is calling the people who voted for Trump garbage. 0.98

00:33:41.660 This is while Mark Cuban is insulting every woman who voted for Donald Trump. 0.98

00:33:48.100 And I love how he said, well, our problem is we're trying to win a Harvard moot court.

00:33:54.400 Well, Eric, one of us has actually been in Harvard moot courts, and one of us has won arguments before.

00:33:59.920 And I will tell you, Kamala Harris has many problems, but being too much of an effective advocate in a Harvard moot court, that ain't one of them. 1.00

00:34:07.260 That's not Kamala's problem, I can assure you.

00:34:09.840 And, in fact, the word salad that was the special of the day from Kamala Harris, the reason she told the word salad is because your policies are indefensible. 1.00

00:34:20.360 And my favorite part of that clip with Swalwell is he said, well, maybe we should stop talking about policies and just lead with our personalities.

00:34:27.880 And I get it. If your policies are complete garbage, if they're failures, if they don't work for the American people, what else do you have other than to try to, like, woo people with a bunch of smoke and mirrors and distraction?

00:34:41.000 But no aspect of what he said there is any reflection of, gosh, maybe we got too extreme. 0.98

00:34:51.300 No, instead, he's saying we need to be even more extreme.

00:34:55.320 And I got to tell you, unfortunately, there are going to be more than a few leftists who react just like that.

00:35:00.840 Even late night comedy, they were not funny.

00:35:03.620 Stephen Colbert, he was angry and just frustrated.

00:35:08.900 And here's what he said to America.

00:35:10.840 I'm your host, Stephen Colbert.

00:35:12.660 Well.

00:35:18.400 Well.

00:35:22.460 It happened again.

00:35:24.480 After a bizarre and vicious campaign fueled by a desperate need not to go to jail, Donald Trump has won the 2024 election.

00:35:36.620 It's almost like you rehearsed that.

00:35:39.740 The deep shock and sense of loss is enormous.

00:35:43.420 OK, but let's look at the bright side.

00:35:44.780 This way, at least there'll be a peaceful transfer of power.

00:35:48.040 Mike Pence, olly olly oxen free.

00:35:50.540 All day yesterday, I was walking around proudly wearing my I Voted sticker.

00:35:56.120 Today, I wore my I am questioning my fundamental belief in the goodness of humanity sticker.

00:36:01.340 They give those out.

00:36:03.400 They give those out at the bake sale.

00:36:06.820 Right outside.

00:36:08.480 Now, as a late night host, people often say to me, come on, part of you has got to want Trump to win because he gives you so much material to work with.

00:36:18.900 No, no.

00:36:21.200 No one tells the guy who cleans the bathroom.

00:36:23.440 Wow.

00:36:23.840 You must love it when someone has explosive diarrhea.

00:36:26.980 There's so much material for you to work with.

00:36:31.440 Now.

00:36:33.280 You understand that?

00:36:34.420 That good?

00:36:35.820 I wish you wish so many of us wish this hadn't happened.

00:36:39.700 But that is not for us to decide.

00:36:41.820 This is a democracy.

00:36:43.660 That's democracy with a capital.

00:36:46.180 Duh.

00:36:47.780 And in this democracy, the majority has spoken and they said they don't care that much about democracy.

00:36:53.080 And I want to take a moment to congratulate Kamala Harris on Tim Walls on running an amazing 107 day campaign.

00:37:02.360 No, come on. 0.85

00:37:04.300 That was extraordinary.

00:37:05.920 Right out of the gate.

00:37:06.840 His definition of extraordinary and mindset are very different.

00:37:10.680 But I do think there's a bigger point.

00:37:12.620 Actually, to be fair, though, you would agree their campaign was extraordinary.

00:37:15.620 It was extraordinary.

00:37:16.560 It was extraordinarily bad.

00:37:17.900 And thank them for doing it.

00:37:19.320 That's true.

00:37:19.940 Yes, it was extraordinary on that front.

00:37:22.860 See, there's common ground.

00:37:23.920 You and Stephen Colbert on the same page.

00:37:26.820 That's very true.

00:37:28.400 So there's a bigger theme here.

00:37:31.020 By the way, tell me, Ben, like Stephen Colbert, have you ever dressed up as a giant COVID vaccination shot and danced around publicly?

00:37:38.620 Yeah, no, never going to happen.

00:37:40.420 Never, never going to happen.

00:37:41.940 But this is the part that I grin about.

00:37:44.680 I feel like we've actually broken the media now.

00:37:47.580 And I got to give some credit to Elon Musk for doing this when he bought X and it started to change things.

00:37:53.780 And people were actually able to get their views out there and not be silenced and censored the way that they were before.

00:37:59.600 And what I think has happened now is if you are a conservative, even a moderate, being talked to by late night television in this way is the reason why I think they're actually putting themselves into irrelevancy.

00:38:16.300 Yeah, look, one of the things striking, you look at Colbert when he's like complaining about the election result and all of his crowd is cheering with him.

00:38:24.320 It's clear only leftists go to Stephen Colbert.

00:38:27.440 Only leftists watch.

00:38:28.540 When's the last time you watched Stephen Colbert?

00:38:30.220 Just seriously.

00:38:31.120 It's, I'm not kidding, years.

00:38:33.660 I mean, years.

00:38:34.740 And I used to love watching Leno and Letterman.

00:38:37.320 Yeah, Leno and Letterman I would watch all the time.

00:38:39.960 Letterman's top ten list.

00:38:41.440 And a real shift in late, I like comedy.

00:38:46.200 I like late night comedy.

00:38:47.320 I watch comedies.

00:38:48.140 I've grown up on SNL.

00:38:49.620 I like good comedy.

00:38:52.020 And by the way, I laugh at comedy making fun of Republicans.

00:38:54.340 There's plenty to make fun of Republicans.

00:38:55.880 If you have a good comedian, they ought to make fun of everybody.

00:38:58.720 I mean, there's a lot to laugh at.

00:39:00.820 And in the age of Trump, late night comics are just so consumed that they just give partisan rants.

00:39:08.320 And by the way, one of the big shifts.

00:39:09.740 So a decade ago, it was a regular part of politics to go on late night shows.

00:39:14.260 I've been on Stephen Colbert.

00:39:15.460 I've been on Jimmy Kimmel.

00:39:16.420 I've been on Fallon.

00:39:17.200 I've been on Leno.

00:39:18.620 It used to be a regular part.

00:39:20.280 When is the last time you saw any Republican on late night shows?

00:39:26.240 We're not welcome.

00:39:27.420 None of them.

00:39:27.800 If you're a fake Republican, if you're a Kinzinger or a Liz Cheney or a Liz Cheney, yeah.

00:39:31.560 No, no, no, no.

00:39:32.480 But an actual Republican.

00:39:35.020 They simply do not have them on.

00:39:38.540 And as a result, they're infinitely less funny.

00:39:41.140 And by the way, SNL did the same thing with Kamala Harris and Tim Kaine.

00:39:44.320 They had both of them on, but not their Republican opponents.

00:39:47.060 And then they got in trouble with the FCC because they were violating federal law.

00:39:51.820 And, all right, Colbert is one thing.

00:39:54.140 But I want you to listen to Jimmy Kimmel.

00:39:55.800 Because, again, I know Kimmel.

00:39:57.100 I've, you know, I've done a show.

00:39:59.820 You gave him a good old Texas. 0.98

00:40:00.560 We were talking about ass whoopings earlier. 0.98

00:40:02.100 You gave him a good old Texas ass whoop not that long ago when you guys played basketball against each other. 0.98

00:40:07.960 Let's just make sure we remind the audience of that. 0.96

00:40:11.380 I will never forget.

00:40:13.840 So, play Kimmel.

00:40:16.080 This is his comedy monologue.

00:40:18.260 Let's be honest, it was a terrible night last night.

00:40:21.560 It was a terrible night for women, for children, for the hundreds of thousands of hardworking immigrants who make this country go, for healthcare, for our climate, for science, for journalism, for justice, for free speech.

00:40:40.420 It was a terrible night for poor people, for the middle class, for seniors, for relying on Social Security, for our allies in Ukraine, for NATO, for victory.

00:40:51.260 And, again, he's crying.

00:40:55.660 And half of what he said, by the way, is just more than half.

00:40:58.320 It was a terrible night for free speech.

00:41:00.780 Yeah.

00:41:00.920 Like, that's just hysterical. 0.87

00:41:02.760 His side are the censoring, we will silence you, we will control you, we will ban you.

00:41:09.960 You know, it was, like, everything he said, it was a terrible night for women.

00:41:14.860 Now, to be clear, this is the same Jimmy Kimmel that used to co-host the Man Show, and he would have women in bikinis jumping up on trampolines. 0.98

00:41:22.160 So, he's not exactly on the vanguard of women's rights.

00:41:26.420 But Jimmy Kimmel no longer is a comedian.

00:41:29.040 He's just an angry leftist.

00:41:30.820 He's not quite as woke as Stephen Colbert, but he's, like, one one-thousandth away.

00:41:40.380 And you know what?

00:41:41.380 As a result, it's just not funny.

00:41:42.800 And so, I will say this.

00:41:45.240 You mentioned my playing hoops with him.

00:41:47.600 So, back in 2018, I challenged him to one-on-one basketball we played.

00:41:51.580 It was terrible, terrible basketball.

00:41:54.040 As ESPN broadcasted that night, if Dr. Naismith had seen what happened here today,

00:41:59.980 he would have invented a different sport.

00:42:03.560 But at the end of the day, my terrible basketball was slightly better than his terrible basketball, 0.96

00:42:08.520 and I won 11-9, which forever and ever will be an ass-kicking that Jimmy Kimmel has to live with. 0.93

00:42:14.680 And as a result of it, I've lived rent-free in his head for the last six years.

00:42:18.620 And so, he, about once a month, goes on a rant attacking me.

00:42:23.340 And, in fact, like when my last book, Unwoke, came out,

00:42:27.080 he hired a drag queen to read excerpts of my book to five-year-olds,

00:42:32.600 which was kind of bizarre.

00:42:34.300 But I thanked him for helping me sell copies of the book.

00:42:36.560 And then my standard response whenever he lashes out is I have a video that we've compiled

00:42:43.540 that we call Buckets and Blocks, and it consists of nothing but shots of me scoring on him

00:42:48.040 and shots of me just swatting his shot back and actually fouling the hell out of him a whole lot.

00:42:54.500 And so, that's my response every time is, gosh, Jimmy, you seem angry,

00:42:57.780 but it's really a shame that you're going to have to live with that loss forever.

00:43:01.160 You know, one of the things that's also interesting about this conversation

00:43:04.660 is the fact that Democrats who said, well, you know, we were trying to save democracy,

00:43:10.540 we're screwed now, we've got a dictator and tyrant coming in,

00:43:14.600 are actually the ones acting like that. 0.98

00:43:16.860 Governor Newsom has already come out saying,

00:43:19.260 I'm calling a special session to prep the battle against incoming Trump administration,

00:43:26.500 calling it a special legislative session focused on potential state litigation,

00:43:31.160 against the Trump administration over issues that could impact his state.

00:43:38.240 Look, they're going to resist on every front, they're going to fight, because why?

00:43:41.860 Because they hate democracy.

00:43:43.940 That's the irony.

00:43:45.460 They talk about democracy constantly, but what they mean of democracy is,

00:43:49.180 we will force you to obey us, whether or not the voters want it.

00:43:52.300 They don't actually want democracy.

00:43:53.600 If they wanted democracy, they wouldn't have prosecuted Trump four different times,

00:43:56.400 because they would have trusted the voters.

00:43:57.540 They like power, and they mask their lust for power and calling it democracy.

00:44:04.040 But I've got to say, there's at least one Democrat right now who is celebrating,

00:44:08.400 who is smiling ear to ear, who may well be the happiest man in the world,

00:44:13.880 and that would be Joseph Robinette Biden.

00:44:15.880 He is joyful, and I'm going to wager you 20 bucks, that Joe Biden and Jill Biden,

00:44:24.380 they both pulled the lever for Donald Trump when they voted on Tuesday.

00:44:28.380 It wouldn't surprise me, because if you go back to this coup, and to quickly remind people,

00:44:34.700 it was the Democratic mafia and the five families.

00:44:39.780 It was the Schumer, Pelosi, Obama, Clintons that were in this, and Harris.

00:44:47.460 Those five families had a coup.

00:44:50.480 I think they probably threatened him with the 25th Amendment.

00:44:53.160 If you don't step aside, we're going to do this to you,

00:44:55.740 because we don't want to lose, and we think we can win with Harris.

00:44:58.340 And Joe Biden, I have not seen him have a bigger grin on his face

00:45:04.140 when he did this Rose Garden conversation, whatever the hell you want to call it.

00:45:08.220 Well, look, the whole thing started, I mean, I think Biden found out about it

00:45:11.600 when he woke up with his dog Major's head in his bed.

00:45:16.340 And he was just screaming and screaming and screaming.

00:45:20.020 And for those of you all too young to get the reference,

00:45:21.840 that's a reference to The Godfather, where the movie producer

00:45:26.160 who refuses to cast a young Frank Sinatra has this prize racehorse

00:45:31.340 that the Godfather decapitates and puts the horse's head in the bed.

00:45:36.620 And it really was.

00:45:38.380 It was the five families they met, and they said,

00:45:41.880 Mr. Biden, your services are no longer needed.

00:45:45.460 And you know what?

00:45:47.020 I think Joe Biden is pissed.

00:45:48.960 I don't think it's an accident that Joe Biden put on a MAGA hat

00:45:51.840 in the middle of the election.

00:45:53.660 And I do not think it is an accident that Jill Biden,

00:45:56.800 when she went to vote, dressed in all red.

00:45:59.540 I think that was quite deliberate.

00:46:01.900 But listen to Joe Biden.

00:46:03.380 Listen to the joy that he is emanating today.

00:46:08.760 Before I play that for you, I want to tell you about our friends over at Berna.

00:46:11.940 And I got to tell you, I love telling you about companies

00:46:15.260 that can help protect you and your family.

00:46:19.160 I had to use a firearm to protect myself.

00:46:21.660 I had to use a firearm to save my own life.

00:46:24.740 But many times, you may not be in a place where you can carry a firearm.

00:46:28.800 Maybe you have a child that is under 21,

00:46:32.760 and you want to know they have a way to protect themselves.

00:46:34.960 Maybe you've gotten them pepper spray.

00:46:36.780 What if I told you there's something that's so much better than that?

00:46:39.600 Well, that is a Berna Less Lethal Pistol.

00:46:42.800 It is amazing.

00:46:43.900 The Less Lethal Pistol launcher can save not only your life,

00:46:47.980 but the life of someone else.

00:46:49.480 It is a great compliment to owning a firearm.

00:46:53.200 But if you or your family are in a situation where you feel threatened,

00:46:56.460 you can start with Less Lethal.

00:46:58.680 And this is legal in all 50 states.

00:47:01.300 There are no permits or background checks needed.

00:47:04.620 I own this myself.

00:47:06.000 And they have been given as gifts to many of my family members.

00:47:09.320 Now, if you've got a daughter that lives by herself or is at school 18 and under,

00:47:14.840 or I say 18 and over, Berna is the answer.

00:47:18.180 It's designed for easy use by all age groups 18 or over.

00:47:22.100 The Berna launcher has powerful deterrents like tear gas and pepper spray rounds.

00:47:27.680 They're amazing.

00:47:28.780 Kinetic rounds as well with a 60-foot range.

00:47:32.240 So you have a lot more distance between you and a threat

00:47:35.340 than you have with a taser or with pepper spray.

00:47:38.200 One shot can incapacitate an attacker for up to 40 minutes.

00:47:42.880 It's used by government agencies and law enforcement around the country.

00:47:46.160 And over a half million units have been sold in more than 14,000 four-and-a-half-star reviews.

00:48:22.620 Now, take a listen to Joe Biden, and I'll say it again.

00:48:26.440 When he came out, he was grinning from ear to ear in the Rose Garden.

00:48:30.800 Yeah, it's good to see you all.

00:48:33.440 Particularly good to see my granddaughter sitting in the front row here. 0.97

00:48:37.060 Hi, Finn. How are you, honey?

00:48:38.860 For over 200 years, America has carried on the greatest experiment

00:48:43.600 in self-government in the history of the world.

00:48:46.960 And that's not hyperbole. That's a fact.

00:48:50.620 For the people, the people vote and choose their own leaders,

00:48:54.480 and they do it peacefully.

00:48:56.100 And we're in a democracy.

00:48:58.160 The will of the people always prevails.

00:49:02.280 Yesterday, I spoke with President-elect Trump

00:49:05.280 to congratulate him on his victory.

00:49:08.060 And I assured him that I'd direct my entire administration

00:49:11.720 to work with his team to ensure a peaceful and orderly transition.

00:49:17.780 That's what the American people deserve.

00:49:20.960 Yesterday, I also spoke with Vice President Harris.

00:49:24.880 She's been a partner and a public servant.

00:49:28.600 She ran an inspiring campaign, and everyone got to see something

00:49:32.200 that I learned early on to respect so much, her character.

00:49:37.220 She has a backbone like a ramrod. 0.95

00:49:38.980 She has great character, true character.

00:49:41.640 She gave her whole heart and effort.

00:49:43.400 And she and her entire team should be proud of the campaign they ran.

00:49:47.480 You know, the struggle for the soul of America since our very founding

00:49:54.700 has always been an ongoing debate and still vital today.

00:50:00.760 I know for some people, it's a time for victory, to state the obvious.

00:50:06.560 For others, it's a time of loss.

00:50:10.260 Campaigns are contests of competing visions.

00:50:14.400 The country chooses one or the other.

00:50:16.620 We accept the choice the country made.

00:50:20.900 I've said many times, you can't love your country only when you win.

00:50:28.220 You can't love your neighbor only when you agree.

00:50:32.480 Something I hope we can do, no matter who you voted for,

00:50:38.200 is see each other not as adversaries, but as fellow Americans.

00:50:43.000 Bring down the temperature.

00:50:45.660 I also hope we can lay the rest of the question about the integrity

00:50:48.320 of the American electoral system.

00:50:51.160 It is honest, it is fair, and it is transparent.

00:50:55.680 And it can be trusted, win or lose.

00:51:01.540 I also hope we can restore the respect for all our election workers

00:51:06.000 who busted their necks and took risks at the outset.

00:51:09.780 We should thank them.

00:51:11.640 Thank them for staffing voting sites, counting the votes,

00:51:16.140 protecting the very integrity of the election.

00:51:19.020 Many of them are volunteers who do it simply out of love for their country.

00:51:23.960 And as they did, as they did their duty as citizens,

00:51:29.000 I will do my duty as president.

00:51:32.240 I'll fulfill my oath, and I will honor the Constitution.

00:51:36.880 On January 20th, we'll have a peaceful transfer of power here in America.

00:51:43.480 To all our incredible staff, supporters, cabinet members,

00:51:47.400 all the people who have been hanging out with me for the last 40 years,

00:51:50.040 God love you, as my mother would say,

00:51:52.300 thank you so much.

00:51:53.520 You put so much into the past four years.

00:51:56.140 I know it's a difficult time.

00:51:58.120 I mean, this was a different Joe Biden.

00:52:00.720 You could even say a joyous Joe Biden.

00:52:02.960 He was not what you would normally think.

00:52:04.840 And you've got to look at it and go,

00:52:06.340 man, he was living it up on election night.

00:52:09.040 Like, you guys threw me out, and guess what?

00:52:11.460 You didn't get the prize after all.

00:52:13.800 Yeah, and look, I am certain that Joe Biden

00:52:16.760 looked at his family, looked at his top staff,

00:52:19.520 and said, if it had been me, I'd have won.

00:52:22.320 Oh, for sure.

00:52:23.500 He believes it.

00:52:23.700 He believes it through and through,

00:52:25.300 and I don't think he will ever forgive Nancy Pelosi

00:52:28.760 and Barack Obama and Chuck Schumer

00:52:31.520 for throwing him overboard, doing it unceremoniously,

00:52:35.420 and saying, we want Kamala instead.

00:52:37.940 And look, we'll never know what that alternative reality would be.

00:52:41.740 I mean, Biden's first debate was a disaster.

00:52:44.220 That's undoubtedly true.

00:52:46.980 But I will tell you, on election night,

00:52:51.220 Biden did better everywhere than Kamala did.

00:52:56.480 Like Kamala, or let me frame it in the obverse.

00:53:00.320 Kamala did worse than Biden did everywhere. 1.00

00:53:04.760 And Joe Biden, I think, is celebrating,

00:53:07.660 and not even that quietly.

00:53:09.080 And you know what?

00:53:09.900 I'm celebrating, too, because it means the country.

00:53:13.000 It's morning in America again,

00:53:14.700 and we're turning the country around.

00:53:16.340 No doubt about it.
