00:00:34.500 Hey, I'm Jack Armstrong.
00:00:35.660 He's Joe Getty.
00:00:36.280 We've been trying to figure out how to describe what is Armstrong and Getty on demand for many years.
00:00:40.760 I'm going to give it a shot.
00:00:41.520 So most media is either agenda-driven or they're so shallow.
00:00:45.200 And boring.
00:00:46.520 Don't learn anything anyway.
00:00:48.020 We try to get to the bottom of the stories that are shaping our worlds

00:00:54.020 So give it a try sometime.
00:00:55.280 Entertaining and you learn something?

00:01:05.280 Hey, it's Drew Franklin from NFL Cover Zero.
00:01:08.040 The 2026 season is underway, and we are loving football on TV.
00:01:12.300 Here's what you can expect from the podcast in our second season.
00:01:15.180 I would suggest for these preseason games,
00:01:17.420 I think they should do what they do on the NFL draft. 0.87
00:01:21.440 You know, when coverage of the NFL draft is basically for moms,
00:01:24.220 And they're just like, hey, he has a dog named Spark.
00:01:30.320 Listen to NFL Cover Zero on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
00:01:37.500 Welcome. It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz. Ben Ferguson with you.
00:01:41.060 It's so nice to have you with us on the show.
00:01:42.860 And as we speak right now, Senator Cruz is on the ground in Michigan.
00:01:47.460 He is campaigning with Mike Rogers against El Saeed.
00:01:50.180 It is obviously one of the biggest races in the entire country.
00:01:53.480 We did a deep dive on El Saeed, his direct ties, the Muslim Brotherhood, and other radical organizations that are directly tied, yes, to terrorists.
00:02:02.800 So why has the media not done their job? Who is El Saeed?
00:02:06.560 We're going to go back and visit that conversation because this is one of the most important election day races in all the country.
00:02:13.980 Take a listen.
00:02:15.280 Well, Ben, I think today's podcast is an important podcast.
00:02:18.500 I have said for a long time the two most dangerous candidates running in the country today are Abdul Al-Sayed in Michigan and James Tallarico in Texas.
00:02:29.100 Now, we've covered James Tallarico quite a bit.
00:02:31.140 He's an extreme candidate.
00:02:32.300 We'll continue covering him up till and hopefully no longer after Election Day.
00:02:37.460 But today we're going to do a deep dive into Abdul Al-Sayed and in particular what I think is a real and acute national security risk.
00:02:48.500 Abdul Al-Sayed could win. The polls coming out of Michigan show the race roughly tied. There have been polls that show him ahead. There are polls that show him slightly behind.
00:02:59.400 If he wins, I believe that poses an unprecedented national security risk. Abdul Al-Sayed, Chuck Schumer could place him on the Senate Intelligence Committee.
00:03:14.000 Understand the way the United States Senate operates.
00:03:16.680 There is no separate security clearance for a senator.
00:03:20.300 The fact of getting elected to the United States Senate gives you clearance.
00:03:25.820 And Abdul Saeed, I believe, the overwhelming evidence indicates,
00:03:30.820 has been a lifelong supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood. 0.91
00:03:34.080 A terrorist organization responsible for murdering countless Americans. 0.99
00:03:40.520 And I believe if Abdul El-Sayed is elected and if he is appointed to committees like the Senate Intelligence Committee or the Senate Armed Services Committee that have access to classified information, that poses an acute risk that U.S. servicemen and women will be killed and that intelligence assets, U.S. intelligence assets abroad, will have their lives endangered. 0.59
00:04:07.540 We're going to lay out the evidence. This is not a podcast where we're going to use a whole lot of adjectives. We're going to use a whole lot of hyperbole. We're simply going to walk through the evidence because this is important, I think, for the people of Michigan, that they do not want a radical Marxist Islamist as their senator.
00:04:25.900 But it is important to all 50 states that we not have a member of the United States Senate who, by virtue of that election, has access to classified materials for whom there is an unacceptable risk that senator will pass on classified materials to terrorists who want to murder us.
00:04:48.340 We're going to lay out the facts. Let you decide.
00:04:50.380 all right I want to take a moment I want to talk to you real quick about the international fellowship
00:04:54.600 of Christians and Jews because what we're seeing in France should send a chill down the spine of
00:04:59.540 every American we're watching violence in the streets a synagogue that was ransacked in Paris
00:05:05.100 Jewish families that are now wondering whether their children will be safe and you better
00:05:10.460 understand something America is not immune to this type of hatred anti-semitic attacks are at
00:05:16.520 a record level both in europe and across our nation and our cities we cannot wait until the
00:05:22.340 danger gets worse to stand with our jewish neighbors and that's why i'm asking you to
00:05:26.280 support the international fellowship of christians and jews the fellowship is helping french jewish 0.66
00:05:32.040 families make alia move to israel providing resettlement assistance and strengthening
00:05:37.900 security at jewish institutions they've helped more than 10 000 french jews make alia since
00:05:45.020 2015 now your generosity can help families seeking safety and support jewish communities
00:05:50.980 facing fear and uncertainty so don't wait for the crisis to reach your neighborhood stand with the
00:05:57.020 jewish people today you can donate now to the international fellowship of christians and jews
00:06:01.700 because standing against anti-semitism isn't just about france or israel it's here in the u.s
00:06:08.800 and on the midterm election ballot.
00:06:11.660 Visit their website.
00:06:12.940 It's one word, giveifcj.org.
00:06:16.960 That's giveifcj.org.
00:06:21.120 All right, Senator, so I want to go back to one of the very interesting
00:06:24.840 and unique things about the Senate that has really been mentioned by some
00:06:30.380 but very much overlooked in the reporting,
00:06:32.380 and that is if you become a United States Senator,
00:06:36.720 There is not a mechanism, from what I understand, and I'm asking you, you're in the Senate,
00:06:42.160 to say to someone, hey, you can't get classified information.
00:06:46.240 If you're a senator, you automatically get access to it,
00:06:49.120 especially if you're on one of these committees as you described it.
00:06:51.980 And if there is someone in the U.S. Senate that, again, heaven forbid,
00:06:55.840 is an actual threat to our national security the way that you're describing it with El Saeed
00:06:59.240 and his connections, how in the world did we get to a point where this could become a real reality?
00:07:06.280 Well, it's the reality that senators, when they are elected, they don't go through security
00:07:10.440 clearance. There's no process to vet them. The fact that the voters of their state sent them
00:07:15.620 to the Senate, that they were in a constitutional office, gives them security clearance under the
00:07:20.180 law. And each party assigns committees differently. The Democrat Party gives that authority to Chuck
00:07:26.920 Schumer. The most sensitive committee in terms of intelligence information is the Senate committee,
00:07:33.900 the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. That is appointed by the leaders. So Chuck Schumer,
00:07:38.800 if he wanted, could put El Saeed on the Intelligence Committee. And by the way,
00:07:42.540 I think there would be real pressure from the far left to do so. And on the Intelligence Committee,
00:07:48.400 he would have access to the most sensitive intelligence we have. Intelligence that goes to
00:07:56.060 sources and methods, that goes to potentially uncovering undercover assets, assets that we
00:08:03.680 may have covertly with the Muslim Brotherhood, with other terrorist organizations. You know,
00:08:08.800 the CIA sends human operatives in to go undercover, to pretend that, to infiltrate
00:08:14.640 terrorist organizations and to try to give us information to prevent terrorist attacks before
00:08:19.640 they occur. That information is not widely available, but the Senate Intelligence Committee,
00:08:25.120 by the way, the Senate Intelligence Committee has jurisdiction over the CIA, the NSA, the Central
00:08:30.360 Security Service, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Bureau of Intelligence and Research,
00:08:35.240 and the intelligence branches of all of the divisions of the U.S. military.
00:08:41.260 The Intelligence Committee was established in 1976 after the Church Committee found evidence
00:08:47.460 of spying on American citizens and illegal wiretapping. And the official duties of the
00:08:52.520 Senate Intelligence Committee are to, quote, oversee and make continuing studies of the
00:08:57.840 intelligence activities and programs of the United States government and to, quote, submit to the
00:09:02.560 Senate appropriate proposals for legislation and report to the Senate concerning such
00:09:08.060 intelligence activities. Another purpose of the Senate Intelligence Committee is to, quote, provide
00:09:13.360 vigilant legislative oversight over the intelligence activities of the United States to
00:09:19.160 assure that such activities are in conformity with the Constitution and laws of the United States.
00:09:25.080 the committee meets every Tuesday
00:09:27.260 that the Senate is in session
00:09:28.740 they are
00:09:31.460 generally closed meetings that are
00:09:33.440 not public they're classified
00:09:34.960 and
00:09:36.600 senators by virtue of being
00:09:39.420 constitutional officers quote
00:09:41.040 by tradition and practice United States
00:09:43.420 officials who hold positions
00:09:44.760 prescribed by the Constitution of the United States
00:09:47.500 are deemed to meet the standards
00:09:49.300 of trustworthiness
00:09:50.500 for eligibility for access
00:09:53.200 to classified information
00:09:54.500 all classifieds all senators have access to classified intelligence assessment regardless
00:10:00.440 of the committee you're on however quote members are not inherently authorized to receive all
00:10:07.560 classified information but agencies provide access as is necessary for congress to perform
00:10:13.380 its legislative function for example to members of a committee or subcommittee that oversees
00:10:18.300 classified executive branch programs. So I have been in my 14 years in the Senate,
00:10:24.240 I've been on the Senate Armed Services Committee, and I've also been on the Senate Foreign Relations
00:10:27.500 Committee. Both of those committees regularly receive classified materials. I'm also on the
00:10:32.500 Senate Judiciary Committee, and I'm chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee. Both of those
00:10:36.400 committees receive classified information as well, but the classified information you receive
00:10:41.260 is within the jurisdiction of that committee. By far, the most sensitive is the Intelligence
00:10:46.540 committee because that is is engaging in oversight of covert activities and it is the leaders it is
00:10:53.040 chuck schumer who could place abdul al-sayed on the intelligence committee or the armed services
00:10:58.300 i was gonna i was gonna ask you is there's gonna be people that say well hold on a second
00:11:01.840 you just don't let him get on the committee this is nothing you have to worry about
00:11:05.360 so like why are you guys making a big deal out of it that's how the media is going to
00:11:09.880 talk about this so let's debunk that right now how do you get on these committees
00:11:14.940 Schumer puts you on it. Schumer puts you on it. It's very simple. Chuck Schumer puts you on it.
00:11:19.880 Nobody, there's no oversight. There's no control. Chuck Schumer has unilateral authority. He can
00:11:24.720 place any Democrat senator on any committee he wants. That's how the Democrats do it. They give 0.53
00:11:30.900 the minority leader, maybe even the majority leader, enormous authority. Now, I want to talk
00:11:36.620 about the facts, because El Saeed was on a Sunday show. He was on Meet the Press this weekend,
00:11:42.380 and he was asked about his connections to the Muslim Brotherhood.
00:11:44.980 I want you to listen to what he said.
00:11:46.840 For Michigan voters who are hearing those attacks against you,
00:11:52.140 who are looking to separate fact from fiction,
00:11:54.900 can you set the record straight about whether you or your family
00:11:58.420 have any ties to the Muslim Brotherhood?
00:12:00.620 No, but let's talk about this.
00:12:03.440 No, you don't have any ties.
00:12:04.680 No.
00:12:05.220 And your family doesn't.
00:12:06.260 The shocking part of that exchange is there is so much evidence
00:12:10.740 that she could have used in her question to El Saeed saying,
00:12:16.760 there is evidence, there is reporting, there is documentation
00:12:19.860 that you have these ties to Muslim Brotherhood through your sister,
00:12:24.380 through your father-in-law.
00:12:26.380 There's multiple ties, which we're about to lay out.
00:12:29.120 But notice how Kristen Welker just said, do you have it?
00:12:32.360 And he says, no.
00:12:32.980 And she's like, okay, I've done my job.
00:12:34.540 Like, there's nothing to talk about here.
00:12:36.540 Let's move on with this.
00:12:38.100 So understand, number one, what Abdul Al-Sayed did right there is a lie. It is a flat-out provable lie. And what Kristen Welker did is one of the greatest acts of journalistic malpractice I think we have ever seen.
00:12:55.000 She did so knowingly.
00:12:57.100 Tim Russert, who built his career on NBC, the same network on which she aired.
00:13:01.840 Tim Russert has got to be spinning in his grave.
00:13:05.360 Because what you just witnessed, what you just heard, that was not journalism.
00:13:09.580 That was political propaganda.
00:13:11.640 That was NBC saying, so a lot of people are saying you're a terrorist.
00:13:15.840 Are you a terrorist?
00:13:16.980 Answer, no, I'm not a terrorist.
00:13:18.440 Okay, good by me.
00:13:19.640 You said no, we're all good.
00:13:21.020 Next thing to talk about. 0.99
00:13:22.040 That is literally what she did. So let's talk about the evidence, because theoretically NBC is a news organization, not a propaganda mouthpiece for Democrat candidates.
00:13:35.400 Although this interview, this interview, I actually think this interview should be taught in journalism classes.
00:13:40.720 If journalism classes actually were trying to train journalists, this is what not to do.
00:13:46.240 So let's just start very basically.
00:13:48.800 Abdul El-Sayed is lying.
00:13:50.420 He says there is no evidence that I am connected to the Muslim Brotherhood or that my family is connected to the Muslim Brotherhood.
00:13:58.180 Now, there's significant evidence that Abdul El-Sayed is directly, but let's talk about the second part, his family.
00:14:04.300 Do you know who disputes what he just said?
00:14:07.080 His own family members.
00:14:08.840 His sister.
00:14:09.640 I want to read to you what she tweeted.
00:14:12.180 This is her sister in a public tweet.
00:14:14.320 On June 24th, 2012, and this is right after Egypt elected the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood,
00:14:22.880 Mohamed Morsi, as its president, and she tweeted out, 0.74
00:14:26.060 Unhappy emoji, unhappy emoji, s***. 0.55
00:14:29.140 My family has long been MB, Muslim Brotherhood. 1.00
00:14:32.580 But I've always felt that it navigated the political sphere poorly, destructively. 0.96
00:14:37.880 So that is his sister flat out saying, my family has long been Muslim Brotherhood.
00:14:43.700 Abdul Al-Syid said, my family has no connections to the Muslim Brotherhood.
00:14:47.440 Now, if Kristen Welker were a journalist, if Tim Russert were there, he would say,
00:14:51.860 why did your sister tweet out that your family's long been Muslim Brotherhood?
00:14:55.380 Yeah, he would have read the tweet the same way you just did to him after he denied it.
00:14:59.440 He would have said, you denied it, here's what your sister said.
00:15:01.900 And by the way, not only that, all right, not only that, his sister also tweeted on July 3rd, 2013,
00:15:11.200 Praying for all my family that supports the Muslim Brotherhood, the MB, in Egypt.
00:15:19.560 Lie low, stay safe.
00:15:22.440 So twice, she says, my family's long been Muslim Brotherhood,
00:15:27.920 praying for all my family that supports the Muslim Brotherhood.
00:15:30.880 Now, a real journalist would say, are you lying or was your sister lying?
00:15:36.580 But that would require actual confronting with facts.
00:15:40.140 Sorry, but let's talk. Let's continue from there.
00:15:43.180 So his sister says their family has long been Muslim Brotherhood.
00:15:47.520 What other evidence is there? Let's talk about Abdul El-Sayed himself.
00:15:52.800 All right, let me take a moment. Let's talk about the midterms for a second.
00:15:55.440 There are enough people listening to this show right now that if you don't vote,
00:16:01.040 it could literally swing key states in the 2016 election to the Democrats.
00:16:06.940 And everyone listening knows every single ultra far left Democratic Socialists, they're showing up to vote this fall.
00:16:14.300 Democrats are fired up and they're beating us in many states in early voting as well.
00:16:19.220 And we can't let them win because if we lose, they'll undo everything our movement has fought so hard for.
00:16:25.480 I need you to vote early so that you can bank your vote and fight back against the left's turnout machine.
00:16:31.620 Now, if you live in the critical Senate battleground states of Maine or Ohio, early voting is already underway starting this week.
00:16:39.600 So go to GOPVotes.org right now and find out when you can vote.
00:16:46.320 Making your voice heard is easier than ever.
00:16:49.240 You can get election reminders, look up your polling location, pick a date to vote early,
00:16:54.560 and all you have to do is go to GOPVotes.org today.
00:16:59.180 Paid for by the SLF PAC, not authorized by any candidate or candidates' committees.
00:17:05.560 Let's go back to what you just mentioned a moment ago,
00:17:08.100 the direct evidence tying al-Sayed, his family, to the Muslim Brotherhood.
00:17:12.580 Not his family, him.
00:17:14.420 Abdul al-Sayed has previously and publicly advocated for the Muslim Brotherhood. 0.72
00:17:20.340 He's authored numerous op-eds defending the Muslim Brotherhood,
00:17:25.180 and he has explicitly supported the group's authoritarian tactics against both the media
00:17:31.040 and the police. In January of 2011, Abdul El-Sayed authored a robust defense of the Muslim
00:17:38.660 Brotherhood in an op-ed for the Huffington Post that was entitled, quote, Why the U.S. Should
00:17:45.420 Support the Protesters in Egypt. Now, mind you, the protesters were the Muslim Brotherhood,
00:17:49.180 writing, quote,
00:17:51.780 even if the Muslim Brotherhood were to take power.
00:17:56.220 The resulting state, he said, quote,
00:17:59.080 would look nothing like Iran.
00:18:02.760 He dismissed comparisons to Hamas.
00:18:05.120 Hamas, by the way, is the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine.
00:18:07.540 And he later made the same case to President Obama and the Guardian.
00:18:12.760 Likewise, on November 25, 2012,
00:18:15.660 days after President
00:18:18.480 Mohamed Morsi declared himself
00:18:20.220 sweeping powers
00:18:21.340 Dr. Abdul
00:18:24.500 Rahman El Saeed of New York
00:18:26.500 at the time was the
00:18:28.460 33rd of
00:18:30.140 46 signers of an Arabic
00:18:32.200 language letter on
00:18:34.340 Al Aram Gate
00:18:35.820 an Egyptian news portal stating
00:18:38.560 quote we call 0.73
00:18:40.660 on him to purge the
00:18:42.560 media and the police
00:18:44.820 as quickly as possible.
00:18:48.140 The letter also, quote,
00:18:50.880 strongly rejected those voices
00:18:53.380 that are courting America and Europe
00:18:57.700 to take a position against the Egyptian regime.
00:19:02.440 Co-signers of this letter
00:19:03.620 included Khaled LaMada,
00:19:08.120 a former chairman of Islamic Relief's U.S. branch
00:19:11.960 who has praised Hamas
00:19:13.640 And Akram Elzend and Sameh Elhenawi, whom Egypt's El-Watan listed as U.S.-based brotherhood cells.
00:19:30.080 Wow.
00:19:30.980 In the following months, at least six Egyptian reporters were charged with, quote, insulting Islam or, quote, insulting the president.
00:19:43.180 So Abdul Al-Sayed, and by the way, where's Kristen Welker saying,
00:19:45.840 well, why did you write in support of Mohamed Morsi,
00:19:48.660 in support of the Muslim Brotherhood taking over Egypt?
00:19:50.980 Why did you say they should purge the police and the press?
00:19:53.740 She didn't ask any of that.
00:19:55.320 Yeah.
00:19:56.400 Not only that, do you know who Abdul Al-Sayed's biggest donor is?
00:20:00.660 Let's talk about his campaign right now, because maybe you say,
00:20:03.880 okay, that was 2011, 2012, 2013.
00:20:06.060 That was a long time ago. 0.75
00:20:08.100 He used to be Muslim Brotherhood, but he's changed. 0.91
00:20:10.060 There is no evidence of that whatsoever that he's changed, but let's assume you think that.
00:20:15.260 Who do you think is the biggest donor to the super PAC supporting Abdul Al-Sayed Senate campaign in Michigan right now?
00:20:22.940 I'm going to guess it's a group or someone that is directly tied or connected to the Muslim Brotherhood.
00:20:29.060 Well, you would ding, ding, ding.
00:20:30.640 You win $64,000.
00:20:32.760 His biggest donor is his father-in-law.
00:20:36.800 Yep.
00:20:37.220 His father-in-law is Tayeb Jukaku, and Jukaku has served at least since 2007 on the 20-member founding committee of ISNA, the Islamic Society of North America,
00:20:59.240 which the Holy Land Foundation prosecutors named as an unindicted co-conspirator
00:21:08.460 and one of eight entities that are, quote,
00:21:13.160 are and or were members of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood.
00:21:18.900 By the way, committee members, like Jukaku, must give ISNA at least $5,000 per year.
00:21:26.580 Lorenzo Vidino
00:21:29.480 who's the director of the program on extremism
00:21:31.640 at George Washington University
00:21:33.060 called the committee members
00:21:34.340 one of whom is
00:21:35.840 Abdul El-Sayed's father-in-law and the largest owner
00:21:39.060 of the super PAC
00:21:39.840 quote, the elders of the organization
00:21:43.560 Wow
00:21:44.540 Jukaku
00:21:45.740 was also president of CARE
00:21:49.060 Michigan
00:21:49.740 from 2005
00:21:52.040 to 2010
00:21:53.880 He remains on its board today, and he was photographed in 2010 with Keir's Nawad Ahmad, the infamous Keir leader and the member of the 1993 Palestine Committee, who declared he was, quote, happy to see Hamas, quote, break the siege on October 7th.
00:22:14.880 Now, what has Jukaku done? He has given $300,000 to Fighting for Michigan PAC, the largest outside group backing El-Sayed. He gave another $100,000 on July 20th to the Unity and Justice Fund, a PAC launched by CARE Action in 2024, as part of its efforts to, quote, elevate the political influence of the Muslim community following October 7th.
00:22:41.880 CARE denies creating or funding the super PAC, although Ahwed said in 2024 that, quote, CARE has also created a super PAC called Unity and Justice Fund.
00:22:55.120 In the July 2026 debate, not very long ago, Representative Haley Stevens, mind you, a Democrat, charged that El Saeed's, quote, father-in-law is running his super PAC.
00:23:11.220 Now, where the heck is Kristen Welker if she can't even quote from the Democrat who El Saeed narrowly beat in the primary,
00:23:17.840 said, look, your father-in-law is running your super PAC.
00:23:21.560 El Saeed, to this day, maintains close financial ties with CARE.
00:23:27.800 CARE is another unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation case,
00:23:32.820 which, by the way, the Holy Land Foundation case resulted in convictions of funneling millions of dollars to Hamas and other terrorist organizations.
00:23:41.220 The Unity and Justice Fund, launched by CareAction, gave $175,000 to the pro-El Said PAC fighting for Michigan on July 21st, its largest single outlay to date.
00:23:54.180 The Unity and Justice Fund also paid a Dearborn consulting firm owned by the Dearborn Heights Mayor Chief of Staff $400,000 for canvassing and claimed credit for assisting El-Sayed's one-point primary win while, quote, building a movement in masjids, which means mosques.
00:24:18.620 CARE's executive director, Nihat Awed, gave $750 directly to El Saeed's campaign.
00:24:26.220 Current and former CARE employees have given more than $115,000 to the campaign, according to Fox News.
00:24:35.080 El Saeed also maintains close ties with Islamic Relief USA,
00:24:40.880 an outfit previously labeled as
00:24:46.180 quote a prime example
00:24:47.800 of brotherhood influence in the United States
00:24:50.360 and that was labeled by the House Oversight Committee
00:24:52.760 El Saeed headlined
00:24:55.320 for $100 a head
00:24:58.420 a RUSA cruise for a cause
00:25:00.900 fundraisers in Washington, Miami, Chicago and New York
00:25:04.060 between March 23rd and April 6th
00:25:07.220 2019
00:25:07.780 posting that he was, quote, proud to be joining them.
00:25:12.900 The House Oversight Committee in 2018 called ARUSA a, quote,
00:25:16.460 prime example of brotherhood influence in the United States and Israel.
00:25:21.300 In the United States and Israel sanctioned its parent Islamic relief worldwide in 2014
00:25:27.100 for alleged Hamas support.
00:25:29.920 ARUSA, meanwhile, denies funding terrorist groups.
00:25:33.320 Arousa's CEO, Ahmed Shehata, photographed at a pro-brotherhood event under the group's Rabia symbol, gave $500 to El Saeed's Senate campaign.
00:25:46.900 Arousa director, Issam Omeish, gave $4,350.
00:25:52.260 dollars. Omaish is a former president of the Muslim American Society, a quote overt arm of
00:26:01.020 the Brotherhood per the House Oversight Committee, and Omaish has urged Muslims to embrace quote
00:26:08.200 the jihad way. This year, not a long time ago this year, El Saeed spoke at ISNA's National 0.54
00:26:18.940 convention, hosted by one of the main brotherhood groups to emerge from the Holy Land Foundation
00:26:24.280 trial.
00:26:25.460 He spoke at this convention just six days before the 25th anniversary of September 11th.
00:26:32.600 His speech followed a montage in which Imam Siraj Wahaj, an unindicted co-conspirator
00:26:42.580 in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing said, quote, America is going down.
00:26:51.220 The montage closed on a photo of El Saeed fist bumping Hassan Piker,
00:26:58.100 the ethnically Turkish influencer who stated that America, quote, deserved 9-11.
00:27:06.000 His campaign has said he is not affiliated with and does not endorse other participants.
00:27:12.580 I mean, you go through this and you sit there and you say to yourself, was Kristen Welker basically a part of El Saeed's campaign strategy?
00:27:21.360 Yes.
00:27:21.660 Hey, let's sit down together.
00:27:23.800 Let's have a conversation. 1.00
00:27:25.720 I'm going to bail you out on this Muslim brother thing. 1.00
00:27:28.940 Is there any leadership? 1.00
00:27:29.580 Are there any executives at NBC?
00:27:31.940 Is there anyone at Meet the Press who has a tiny bit of journalistic integrity?
00:27:36.820 That's like an interview.
00:27:38.200 Can you imagine Meet the Press interviewing Al Capone? 0.90
00:27:40.920 Hey, are you a mobster?
00:27:42.000 Nope, not a mobster.
00:27:43.000 Okay, good by us.
00:27:44.140 Capone says he's clean.
00:27:45.300 NBC says it's all fine.
00:27:47.300 Yeah.
00:27:47.780 I mean, it is the exact, I mean, it would be like asking Adolf Hitler, did you gas the Jews?
00:27:53.320 And he says no.
00:27:53.960 And you're like, all right, even though there's evidence.
00:27:55.680 That is how absurd this moment was on Meet the Press.
00:28:00.220 Yet it actually happened.
00:28:01.440 And you saw it was only, what, 15 seconds long.
00:28:04.140 It's embarrassing.
00:28:05.700 But they did it because they wanted the narrative to get out there.
00:28:08.960 That he is some sort of mainstream normal guy that has no connections to terrorism, no connections to radical extremists, Muslim ideas, organizations, groups, and they want to put it all to bed so he could finish out the campaign by saying, I'm just a normal guy that just wants to represent America in Congress.
00:28:26.800 Now, Senator, before we get to more of this, let's talk real quick about planning on getting your vote counted for the midterms.
00:28:32.840 the midterms they're here and the democratic socialists of america if they win they're going
00:28:37.660 to push a radical socialist agenda and they're going to drown president trump in endless
00:28:41.940 investigations they've already said that publicly now we've seen this playbook before they've tried
00:28:46.660 impeaching him they've tried putting him in prison they've tried everything so don't let them win
00:28:52.360 because if we lose they're going to undo everything our movement has fought for now i need you to vote
00:28:57.740 early so that you can bank your vote and fight back against the left's turnout machine and they
00:29:03.480 are turning out go to gopvotes.org right now and find out where you can vote now if you live in
00:29:09.920 the critical senate battleground states of Maine or Ohio early voting is already underway starting
00:29:14.680 this week so make your voice heard it's easier than ever you can get election reminders you can
00:29:20.480 look up your polling location and pick a date to vote early. Go to GOPVotes.org today. Paid for by
00:29:28.280 the SLF PAC, not authorized by any candidate or candidates committee. All right, so let's get back
00:29:34.780 into this story. And again, there's the scary part is there's even more to this. Yeah. So in 2018,
00:29:41.900 there was a documentary that showed El Saeed asking filmmakers to keep his living room bookshelf
00:29:49.100 out of the frame to quote keep the shot secular so now what do you think that bookshelf held that
00:29:58.280 he was trying to keep out of the documentary because he didn't want people to see that by
00:30:02.360 the way this is not just a book he had somewhere that he proudly displays in his living room
00:30:06.440 yeah well one it included works by abu amenah bilal phillips who is a 1993 world trade center
00:30:16.160 bombing unindicted co-conspirator.
00:30:18.880 It also included
00:30:20.220 books by Brotherhood member
00:30:22.140 Muhammad al-Ghazali,
00:30:25.820 a Jamaat
00:30:26.540 al-Islami member,
00:30:28.900 and also by
00:30:30.200 Shakul
00:30:32.100 Islam ibn
00:30:33.480 Taimiya,
00:30:35.820 whose writings both Al-Qaeda 0.55
00:30:37.940 and ISIS
00:30:39.500 cite. His campaign
00:30:42.340 later said, this was not
00:30:44.200 abdul's bookshelf it was apparently another bookshelf someone smuggled into his living room
00:30:48.140 against his wishes and they said a background book is quote not an endorsement this is again
00:30:54.720 apparently someone mysteriously is putting books in his living room now all right i want to stop
00:31:01.860 and go back to a foundational question the the evidence is overwhelming that abdul al-sayed
00:31:08.100 is a supporter of the muslim brotherhood that his family as a sister says have long been muslim
00:31:13.580 Brotherhood supporters. But let's stop for a second and say, what is the Muslim Brotherhood?
00:31:17.780 Should we be worried? I mean, look, Brotherhood is nice, right? What's wrong with Brotherhood?
00:31:22.320 So let's do a little bit of background as to what the Muslim Brotherhood is.
00:31:26.920 The Muslim Brotherhood, whose technical name is Al-Iqwan Al-Muslimon, is a transnational
00:31:36.160 Sunni Islamist movement founded in Egypt in 1928 by schoolteacher Hassan Albana,
00:31:44.900 whose stated aim was government by Sharia and ultimately a global Islamic order.
00:31:53.640 The Muslim Brotherhood's motto declares, quote,
00:31:56.420 The Koran is our constitution. Jihad is our way. 1.00
00:32:03.480 Death for the sake of Allah is our wish.
00:32:09.300 Albana's doctrine of Tamkin, which means empowerment, 0.97
00:32:13.900 lays out a stage path for reforming individual Muslims,
00:32:18.140 to building loyal communities, to taking state power.
00:32:23.740 Brotherhood members assassinated Egyptian Prime Minister Mahmoud al-Nukrashi in 1948
00:32:30.780 and tried to kill Egyptian President Nasser in 1954.
00:32:34.740 And the writings of Brotherhood ideologue Sayyid Khutub
00:32:39.720 later supplied the theological framework for both Al-Qaeda and ISIS.
00:32:46.780 The theological framework. Let's say that just again.
00:32:49.960 The theological framework is one of the people involved in the Muslim Brotherhood for ISIS and Al-Qaeda. 0.57
00:32:56.640 Yes. The Brotherhood operates through national branches that adopt their tactics to local conditions.
00:33:04.880 Hamas is, by its own 1988 charter, the Brotherhood's Palestinian branch.
00:33:11.060 The Lebanese branch of the Muslim Brotherhood fought alongside Hezbollah.
00:33:16.460 Qatar serves as the movement's chief state patron.
00:33:21.620 In Egypt, the Brotherhood briefly held power under President Mohamed Morsi from 2012 to 2013
00:33:29.700 before he was removed and the group was banned as a terrorist organization.
00:33:36.160 In the United States, the Brotherhood built a network of public-facing 501c3 and 501c4 organizations.
00:33:46.520 In the Muslim Brotherhood's 1991 explanatory memorandum, which was seized by the FBI and entered into evidence in the Holy Land Foundation trial, it describes its U.S. mission, the U.S. mission of the Muslim Brotherhood, as, quote,
00:34:01.980 a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within.
00:34:11.300 And it lists the Islamic Society of North America, 0.93
00:34:15.480 which Abdul Al-Sayed's father-in-law was one of the founding members of,
00:34:21.000 the Muslim Students Association, and the North American Islamic Trust
00:34:25.280 as among, quote, our organizations. 0.90
00:34:28.680 This is the Muslim Brotherhood saying these are our organizations. 0.56
00:34:33.720 After Hamas' founding, and in an effort to derail the Oslo Accords, 0.85
00:34:38.880 the U.S. Brotherhood created a, quote, Palestine Committee in 1993.
00:34:43.580 This group of Brotherhood officials raised money for Hamas
00:34:46.940 under the banner of an American C-3 known as the Holy Land Foundation.
00:34:52.120 The Holy Land Foundation's leaders were convicted in 2008 on all 108 counts
00:34:58.460 of funneling roughly $12 million to Hamas
00:35:02.720 and prosecutors named Kerr and Isna and Nayat
00:35:08.380 as unindicted co-conspirators.
00:35:11.340 A federal judge ruled in 2009
00:35:14.300 that the government has produced
00:35:16.360 quote, ample evidence
00:35:18.200 linking Kerr, Isna and Nayat
00:35:21.740 to the Holy Land Foundation and to Hamas.
00:35:24.740 Since then, President Trump, via Executive Order 14362, has begun the process of designating certain Muslim Brotherhood chapters as foreign terrorist organizations and specially designated global terrorists.
00:35:40.540 By the way, that's something I have been fighting for for years, to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, which President Trump has taken major steps to do, and also designating CARE as a terrorist organization, which has not happened yet, although the state of Texas has done so.
00:35:56.260 Isn't it amazing, Senator, that just you and I sitting here can spend a half hour
00:36:00.940 exposing exactly how he has connected the Muslim Brotherhood,
00:36:05.960 but in 12 seconds, NBC News does the job for the entire media of saying
00:36:11.440 there is no Muslim Brotherhood there, there's no fire, there's no smoke, 0.93
00:36:15.500 he already denied it, it's done, it is fact, we can move on. 0.55
00:36:20.540 Yeah, but look, NBC is covering up for him, but you don't see ABC covering this
00:36:25.080 or cbs or cnn or msnbc none of them are are covering this because at this point these are
00:36:31.540 institutions where you've got many leaders in the leadership there want the democrats to win
00:36:36.380 yep and listen i i think the evidence is overwhelming that abdul al-sayed's family
00:36:43.460 is directly connected to the muslim brotherhood that they have financial ties to the muslim
00:36:48.800 brotherhood and that they have been vocal supporters if you do not believe me believe
00:36:53.420 his sister who says our family have long been muslim brotherhood that's his own sister
00:36:59.000 and yet abdul al-sayed is lying about it by the way the evidence is very clear that abdul al-sayed
00:37:05.080 has long supported the muslim brotherhood he has written in support of the muslim brotherhood
00:37:09.380 over and over and over again the largest donor to the super PAC supporting his campaign is his
00:37:16.480 father-in-law who is a founding member of an unindicted co-conspirator in the holy land
00:37:21.480 foundation case. The evidence is clear and understand the threat. I want to close where
00:37:26.540 we started. If Abdul Al-Sayed wins, by virtue of being a senator, he will have access to
00:37:34.320 classified information, classified information about what the United States government is doing
00:37:39.020 to stop the Muslim Brotherhood, what the United States government is doing to prevent terrorist
00:37:43.180 attacks by the Muslim Brotherhood, to prevent terrorist attacks by the Muslim Brotherhood
00:37:46.940 against the United States, against U.S. servicemen and women, against civilians in American cities.
00:37:53.900 And I believe if Abdul Al-Sayed has access to that classified materials, that it will 0.63
00:37:59.980 endanger the lives of servicemen and women, American servicemen and women serving overseas, 0.62
00:38:05.980 and that it will endanger the lives of U.S. intelligence operatives serving overseas.
00:38:10.760 This is a profound danger. And so, listen, I hope Election Day is a great election where Republicans keep the House and Senate, where we grow our majorities.
00:38:20.080 That would be a very good outcome. Yeah. But what I pray is that at a minimum, Abdul Al Saeed is not elected to the Senate and James Tallarico in Texas is not elected to the Senate.
00:38:32.760 These two are radicals, and they're dangerous for our country, and I hope that everyone involved between now and Election Day does everything they can to prevent that danger to our servicemen and women, our intelligence operatives, serving abroad and protecting this nation.
00:38:52.140 Yeah, great point.
00:38:53.060 And by the way, this show is one of those, I would say, share it wherever you can.
00:38:56.660 It's also on Facebook and on YouTube, so you can share it there on your social media accounts.

00:40:28.620 Here's what you can expect from the podcast in our second season.
