00:02:14.740 Danielle Smith was holding a press conference for some kind of, you know, making election stuff. 0.80

00:02:21.060 And while she was doing that, three people, who were, I guess, not her fans, rushed the stage.

00:02:29.920 Tell us about what happened there and who these people, you were able to uncover at least who two of these three people were.

00:02:38.620 Well, we were just about getting ready to go into the question period, and then all of a sudden there was a ruckus.

00:04:42.960 Yeah, so tell us about this. He was sharing some kind of communist content, or is an openly declared, I think he called himself an anarcho-syndicalist.

00:06:30.360 I want you to back up because the NDP have been alleging that Daniel Smith plans to sell the hospitals in Alberta.

00:06:36.320 Right. They took something she said as a private citizen in 2021, I believe, took it completely out of context

00:06:46.400 saying Daniel Smith wants to sell hospitals, which isn't true.

00:06:50.780 And the fact is there's been privately run hospitals in Alberta

00:06:56.800 Yeah, and, you know, Banff Mineral Springs is a private hospital.

00:12:04.260 Jonathan, I know just a few days ago, you released a story with photos obtained of NDP two-term MLA and present candidate for the NDP, Rod Loyola.

00:12:19.540 It was known from before that he had had some weird sort of secular seance, church-style memorial for Hugo Chavez.

00:12:29.620 But you had just obtained photos of Rod Loyola marching in a communist party parade.

00:12:37.500 So not really dismissible as, I like a guy who is a communist, but I'm not a communist myself.

00:12:44.720 He was leading the parade, never mind marching on it.

00:12:47.000 Yeah, he was leading this communist delegation, I guess, in the parade for workers, World Revolution or whatnot.

00:12:53.820 But you released another story yesterday, a second NDP candidate.

00:13:00.940 Not necessarily proof that they were ever members of a communist party, but certainly very strong endorsements of communism and communist links.

00:13:09.900 Yes. So Alberta NDP candidate Diana Baden, she's running Calgary Acadia.

00:13:14.760 she retweeted a post commemorating American hacker Aaron Schwartz from an account which

00:13:19.860 praised communism. And the reason why I say that it was an account praising communism is because

00:13:25.080 the title of the account was Vote Communist May 4th. And next to the name on Twitter,

00:13:32.200 it had the hammer and sickle next to it. And yeah. So, you know, in an election, if a right

00:13:42.840 candidate, like a UCP candidate, had, I don't know, retweeted something from Vote Nazi May 4th

00:13:50.920 and had a swastika emoji. This would be, needless to say, a very big deal.

00:13:59.120 Has the NDP responded, issued any kind of apology or clarification, if you will,

00:14:06.120 about one of their candidates sharing communist material?

00:14:08.720 I haven't seen anything. No one's commented on neither. Same was similar with Rod Loyola's

00:14:15.300 ordeal. He or the NDP haven't commented on that incident. It's a repeated pattern of communism

00:14:21.560 within the NDP. Where is this candidate running? This candidate is running in Calgary, Acadia. So

00:14:28.140 Tyler Chandro is riding. Yeah. And we were just talking yesterday. That is a extremely tight race.

00:14:34.820 We've got Tyler Shandro there. He's a controversial figure. He was health minister under JC Kenney, who oversaw lockdowns and mandates. So he's got at least, you know, used to have at least a lot of people to his on his right side, very upset with him. Some are probably coming back. A lot of them probably come back to the UCP fold now, but it would not, it would take only possibly even a few dozen of them to stay at home to cost him and the UCP that seat.

00:15:01.320 And has there been any reaction from the UCP so far on the, I guess, I suppose, the second NDP candidate with communist links exposed?

00:15:25.620 this was a conservative that was you know like vote nazi may 4th it would be like it would be a

00:15:32.500 political career ender we kind of talked about this yesterday but we've still got to talk about it

00:15:38.900 Why the hell is the legacy and government funded media utterly uninterested that a party which stands a, you know, let's say 45% chance of forming government on May 29th.

00:15:53.900 Why are they so uninterested that a party, you know, a serious party with a chance of winning an election has now at least two candidates running under its banner, including one two term MLA, have clear links to an ideology and political party that killed more people in the 20th century than all other causes combined?

00:20:47.620 because Smith's was mostly just the arena, this big thing.

00:20:51.540 The provincial money is for sprucing up the whole Rivers district.

00:20:55.660 It's a municipality that's putting money in to go directly for the arena.

00:20:59.700 But, I mean, it's more targeted for one part of Calgary and for people who have the money to go to Flames games.

00:21:07.500 Notley's Promise, though, is a bit more broad-based for Calgary.

00:21:11.060 Schools and hospitals and stuff, stuff that pretty much everyone is generally going to enjoy.

00:21:18.220 And it's a bigger price tag, but it's more broad-based.

00:21:21.820 I don't know, do you think it's, do you think her Calgary cash promise might actually go down better than Smith's?

00:21:40.160 But I think, don't forget, the arena deal is not popular with a lot of Calgarians.

00:22:39.860 billion for Calgary. We are definitely out of the money. Every party says, I'm going to get us off
