00:02:22.160 coming with some connection to trans ideology, speaking about how, you know, perhaps there is some

00:02:33.680 kind of pattern here with mental health problems that should be addressed. And that, in turn,

00:02:39.920 has led directly to his dismissal as the volunteer defensive coordinator coach for a high school

00:02:46.900 football team, the Lakers, in Sylvan Lake, Alberta. We've got the man himself, Tiege Johannesson,

00:03:26.840 message you were conveying in that video you posted on TikTok? Yeah, so I've been, I've worked for

00:03:32.560 children, with children for 15 years as a coach, and worked in group homes with kids with special

00:03:37.480 needs and disabilities. And I saw the devastating effect that psychological drugs had on kids,

00:03:43.960 turning them into zombies. And so I got out of the group home world, because I just couldn't be a part 1.00

00:03:47.660 of that. And then this trans ideology started taking over and attracting these vulnerable kids 0.85

00:03:53.240 who have mental health issues, and who are told that trans is the answer to all their mental health

00:03:58.800 issues. And so they're put on more drugs, they're put on cross-sex hormones, which have terrible side

00:04:02.360 effects. And so I, you know, I started making TikToks. And they really blew up. And people

00:04:08.480 really appreciated what I was saying, and kept telling me that they were, you know, too scared

00:04:12.800 to stand up against the woke mob. I'm not scared. I, my entire personality, and my reason for being on

00:04:19.560 this earth, the reason God put me here was to stand up for the vulnerable, to stand up regardless of

00:04:24.800 consequences, for those that need to be stood up for. And that's what that's what I did. And I'm not

00:04:30.760 hateful. I don't hate trans kids or LGB kids, I actually hurt for them, because adults have 1.00

00:04:38.100 forced an ideology on to them with false promises about how this is going to make their lives better.

00:04:43.840 And so I'm not fighting against any child, I'm fighting for the children, because I see the

00:04:48.440 injustice and the harm that it is causing. So, you know, I watched the video, I can see how it might

00:04:55.140 be a little spicy to, you know, someone in the public education system, which tends to be fairly

00:05:03.200 ideologically captured. But I didn't see anything hateful by any, any reasonable explanation in your

00:05:13.080 video. You know, you're, you didn't say all trans people are going to go shoot up schools, but you

00:05:21.300 did point to, you know, a significant growing body of evidence that, you know, trans people are quite

00:05:28.040 disproportionately, um, uh, have been involved in these things. And that doesn't mean everyone from

00:05:32.860 a group is, but it, you know, yeah, but it was saying, you know, there's obviously some mental

00:05:37.460 health issues here and, and the people are afraid, uh, maybe I'm woken up the fact that it's 2025,

00:05:44.600 we can actually say things out loud again, at least to some extent. Um, but you know, that there's

00:05:49.880 mental health issues here, kids are being abused, and this is leading to some very tragic outcomes.

00:05:55.340 So you, uh, you got a call, uh, from the principal of the Sylvan Lake High School. Uh, the name is, um,

00:06:04.880 uh, Alex Lambert, right? Correct. Yeah. Alex Lambert. Yeah. Is the, is the, uh, principal of the school.

00:06:11.480 So you've been coaching there, uh, for a decade now. You 10 years. Yeah. Yeah. So you grew up

00:06:17.340 nearby in nearby Red Deer. Yep. For those not from Alberta, Red Deer, uh, Sylvan Lake is a small

00:06:22.840 community, not too far from Red Deer, just, uh, just west of it. Um, uh, you and your wife both

00:06:28.400 moved there. Your wife is a teacher at this school. At the school. Yeah. Yeah. And from what I

00:06:33.280 understand, she has a very, uh, hateful record, uh, beating up on trans and, uh, gay kids at the 0.96

00:06:38.460 school, right? That's correct. She ran the Gay Straight Alliance for a number of years. Yeah. Totally,

00:06:43.360 totally hateful. I've actually been in that room with the Gay Straight Alliance kids and, and supported 0.99

00:06:47.600 them. And, um, and again, I have to make this very clear. This is not against this. I'm fighting for

00:06:53.140 the kids against an adult ideology. That's recruiting vulnerable, vulnerable kids with false promises

00:06:58.040 that this will save their lives. Um, I think the public is starting to realize this more and more.

00:07:17.920 I'm hurt and I'm, I'm destroyed at what I'm seeing. Um, I'm sorry, I'm getting a little emotional, but

00:07:23.640 what kids are being put through and I, I can't sit by and be nice about it, you know? Um, but no,

00:07:31.040 I don't hate any kid. And I've never, I've never treated any kid, regardless of any variable to their

00:07:36.620 personalities in any, uh, any way, but love and kindness. And that is backed up by every single

00:07:42.600 parent that has sent mass emails to the school board to Alex Lambert, the principal backing my

00:07:49.520 character up because they have direct knowledge of how I am with those kids. All my kids today are

00:07:54.440 devastated. I have kids, Derek, that I coached 15 years ago that wrote scathing emails to the

00:08:01.240 superintendent, um, in Chinook's edge backing me and my character. I have never once been hateful

00:08:07.960 towards any kid that I've coached. My reputation is incredibly high and everybody knows my character

00:08:13.400 who actually knows me though. The, the, the small minority of people that are coming out to get me

00:08:17.760 have never spent a single second with me in their lives, have never seen me coached, have never seen

00:08:23.280 me interact with my players. I made a Tik TOK video on my personal time away from my volunteer position,

00:08:28.700 which I've not paid for, which I've put thousands of hours in over 10 years to help mold young men

00:08:33.140 and young women. And it's heartbreaking to me, um, that there's a small minority that seems to be

00:08:39.340 able to, uh, uh, remove a coach like me after all these years and all the good that I've done.

00:08:44.220 So I, we, we've obtained, uh, right now, uh, nearly a dozen, uh, emails from students, uh, or,

00:08:53.120 or players, uh, past players that you've, uh, coached over the years and, and parents of players,

00:08:58.680 uh, who are, who are currently there. Um, so I, I, I've, I've seen a lot of this, um, now, uh,

00:09:06.180 you know, you have been through public schools. There's a lot of politics on the clock in the

00:09:11.020 classroom, teachers pushing this kind of thing. Uh, well, yeah, not what you're saying. I'd say

00:09:15.900 maybe the, the other side, the opposite, they're pushing the opposite on students in the classroom,

00:09:20.920 uh, on the taxpayer's time, on the student's time, on the parent's time. Um,

00:09:26.460 but you generally don't see it the other side. Uh, so, you know, you, you, you, you've got views

00:09:31.260 that I, I think are, uh, congruent with the broad mainstream of Alberta and even Canadian society,

00:09:50.920 did you ever, uh, you know, discuss these issues or, or your views on the field or, or in the locker

00:09:59.380 room, uh, while you've got your coach's hat on? Never. And that is unequivocal. And that has been

00:10:06.000 a main theme in the, about 40 emails from parents that have gone to the principal and the superintendent

00:10:11.940 supporting me and the children who say and confirm, I have never once ever brought any political

00:10:18.640 beliefs that I have or culture beliefs that I have to the football field, because that is not

00:10:23.060 appropriate. Even it, even though I believe that they're right, I don't believe that any adult

00:10:27.480 should be telling a child what they should or shouldn't believe. When I show up to coach those

00:10:31.480 kids, I'm there to coach them, to mentor them and to help them succeed, not just on the football field,

00:10:35.940 but in life as men, as, as, as husbands in the future, as fathers in the future, I don't bring any of

00:10:42.780 that to the field. And that is fully confirmed and backed up by the multitude of emails that have

00:10:47.820 been sent. It is, I don't believe, and I, and, and teachers do believe this is why you see rainbow

00:10:52.680 flags and safe space stickers. By the way, the safe space stickers that are all over these classrooms,

00:10:58.020 I find it kind of strange that you need a safe space sticker to convince people that you're a safe

00:11:02.200 space. My wife never put a safe space sticker on her door because she knew that her actions said 0.99

00:11:07.300 that she was a safe space and she didn't need to advertise it. Safe space stickers to me seem very much

00:11:11.800 similar to a white van handing out candy. So I'm not really sure how that is a thing that's going on

00:11:16.540 in schools, but it definitely is. I don't believe anybody should be talking about their ideology, including

00:11:22.400 myself, as a coach to young people. That's not our jobs. So I've listened to the recording of

00:11:31.280 the principal, Alex Lambert, firing you from this volunteer position. So you don't work for the school,

00:11:38.200 you're a volunteer, but your, your wife does, uh, serve as a teacher there. Yeah. Um, you said she's

00:11:43.200 out to get you. She's been trying to get you for, for some time now. Um, and she accused you of

00:11:49.260 breaking, I think it was the safe schools after. Yeah. The safety and education act. Yeah. That was

00:11:53.700 the reason. Yeah. She accused you of breaking the safety and education act and you asked her to

00:11:58.000 specifically cite, um, what it is you did. Yeah. Uh, that it's in violation of the act. And she,

00:12:05.800 uh, she refused to say, you asked her repeatedly over and over. Yeah. Um, and she wouldn't say,

00:12:12.200 I think the only, all she would say is I'm not going to get into details. Uh, so it's pretty,

00:12:18.000 she hasn't cited what the specific, uh, side, uh, what you've specifically violated. I, I certainly

00:12:24.320 don't think this would, I I've looked at the act. I don't think, I don't see how this would violate

00:12:29.260 it under any reasonable interpretation of it at this time. Um, what recourse, uh, are, of any,

00:12:36.060 are you, are you looking at? Cause you know, wrongful dismissal doesn't, I don't, I'm not a labor

00:12:40.620 lawyer, but I don't think it would apply here. Cause you, you were not paid staff. You're not a

00:12:43.420 teacher. You know, a lot of the coaches will be also teachers. You're, you're just doing this on

00:12:47.880 your own time. Um, you know, so they'll, you know, wrongful dismissal doesn't quite apply here.

00:13:00.040 defended the right pedos to keep teaching. They have, but I don't think they're, I doubt the

00:13:04.620 Alberta teachers association considers you their kind of clientele. Um, but, uh, you know, what recourse

00:13:44.520 were, were incredibly angry, not just because of losing me as a coach, but because, and,

00:13:49.640 and, and this was a sentiment, a sentiment in all the emails was, um, what message is

00:13:54.540 Chinook's edge school division? Chinook's edge school division is the board in which HJ Cody

00:13:58.700 high school falls under. What message are we sending to kids where we tell people that they

00:14:04.380 aren't allowed to believe what they believe that Christian beliefs are not welcomed in our

00:14:09.020 school? You know, they talk about being inclusive all the time, but they, as soon as you

00:14:12.520 mentioned, you're a Christian, as soon as you have a Christian belief, which I am, I'm

00:14:15.380 a man of God, I'm a man of faith. Um, as soon as you mentioned that you're fired from a volunteer

00:14:20.160 position that you've put 10 years of your time in and you've done nothing but good for

00:14:23.660 those kids. What message are we sending those kids? What message are we sending to the future

00:14:27.600 of our society? It's disgusting and it's despicable. So that has been really good. My next step is

00:14:32.840 to meet with the superintendent of schools today. He's been bombarded with emails of support

00:14:37.080 and he's definitely been, uh, received some few, a few emails because I've been CC'd in

00:14:41.820 them from woke activists who say that the best decision they ever made was getting rid

00:14:47.360 of a Nazi like me because I'm, I'm dangerous for students. Now, let me be very clear.

00:14:52.380 Every one of those emails is coming from people who have no idea who I am, who have never spent

00:14:56.300 a minute of their time with me, who have never seen me coach. These are people that got wind

00:14:59.740 of my TikTok video. And of course they never watched the whole thing. It's a six minute long

00:15:03.100 video. They, as soon as they realized that it was quote unquote anti-trans, which is,

00:15:07.420 um, a load of nonsense. Um, they just, they completely just lose their mind and then they

00:15:12.560 go and try to wreck my life. So, um, I'm meeting with the superintendent today. I'm not sure that's

00:15:17.960 going to go super well for me. Oftentimes these superintendents will just back their principal,

00:15:21.800 which would be a shame because, you know, the people actually hurting the kids are Alex Lambert,

00:15:27.840 the principal of the school, um, the woke activists complaining about me. And if the superintendent

00:15:31.960 doesn't reinstate me as a coach him, because the kids that are hurt are my football players,

00:15:36.360 they're devastated first day of school today. And they're stressed. They weren't sleeping all

00:15:41.240 weekend. They've been out fighting for me. They're making t-shirts for me. They're, they're

00:15:45.400 devastated. The hurt from the kids is being brought by these people who got rid of me and any future

00:15:50.520 kid that I may have impacted, um, in the future. So right now it's just talking to as many media outlets

00:15:55.640 as I possibly can. I actually have been, uh, this is kind of crazy, but, um, I had a, uh,

00:16:01.960 a person who's highly connected to the UCP government here in Alberta. And she has said,

00:16:12.840 Lake already knows about this story and is supposed to be contacting me today. Um, this is going high

00:16:17.960 because this is, by the way, my TikTok video, Derek is fully in line with the current government

00:16:23.440 of Alberta's policies in regards to trans people and trans ideology. So being in line with the government

00:16:45.780 knowledge have, has there been a single complaint from any of your players or students? Zero, absolutely

00:16:57.960 which I've been kicked off of now, but, um, there was a group chat and every single parent on there

00:17:03.920 wrote a letter for me. Every single one of them, all my players have my, uh, have a full support of

00:18:49.920 the rainbow, um, flags are everywhere. The safe space stickers are everywhere. All they do is talk

00:18:54.940 about diversity and inclusion. And by the way, I am fully for including everybody. This is not about

00:19:00.780 excluding people. In fact, I'm the one being excluded here. I'm the one being hated on here. I'm the one

00:19:05.900 being banished from the school here. So the hypocrisy runs deep. Um, but yes, uh, the, the, the,

00:22:26.020 ruined the relationship. They've started treating my wife poorly because of the things Alex has said

00:23:10.700 daughter that she knows about. So I'm not going to say that she should lose her job because I'm not
