00:00:00.000 And think about it, if you want to control a population, control its food supply, right?
00:00:03.640 I mean, we're in this world where every little entitlement and desire is defined as a need or a human right,
00:00:08.540 and people are protesting for it, yet at the same time we're quietly letting ideologically driven political leaders
00:00:14.100 threaten what there is a very real right to and need for reliable, affordable food supplies.
00:00:20.560 So this latest attack on food production that we're reading about comes from Ireland,
00:00:24.500 where the government's proposing the slaughter of 200,000 dairy cows in an effort to reach EU climate change targets.
00:00:32.180 Now, the climate impact of culling these animals is going to be negligible at best,
00:00:36.480 but the impact on Irish consumers and food producers is going to be immediate and harsh.
00:00:41.040 I mean, dairy products, they're infused into most European food supplies.
00:00:44.560 The slaughter of these cattle is going to immediately raise prices on most food items,
00:00:48.420 and it's probably going to put a lot of producers out of work, and not going to do a bloody thing for the environment.
00:00:52.100 But climate zealots, they don't care.
00:00:54.560 They're undeterred by protests or economic reality.
00:00:57.720 They just want to shut down human activity by all and any means possible.
00:01:02.620 You're not talking about rational, reasonable people here.
00:01:05.720 Even in Sri Lanka, I mean, this is a nation that's not a stranger to hard times and famine and relatively recent memory.
00:01:11.900 Well, their government imposed ridiculous regulations banning types of fertilizer
00:01:15.820 and encouraging these inefficient organic growing practices.
00:01:19.180 At least with them, they got stirred up enough it spawned protests that actually took down their own government.
00:01:24.380 That was only a couple of years ago.
00:01:26.020 But still, the push doesn't stop.
00:01:27.940 In the Netherlands, the state's been at war with its own farmers since 2019,
00:01:32.020 when nationwide protests were spawned by nitrogen and ammonia bans at the expense of the agricultural producers.
00:01:38.000 Farm protests have been crippling their nation at times, but the government's still undeterred,
00:01:42.200 and they're working towards forcing the reduction of livestock herds
00:01:45.020 and taking land away from agricultural producers in the Netherlands.
00:01:47.740 And hey, don't think it's just happening overseas, guys.
00:01:50.740 Canada isn't far behind.
00:01:51.960 The Trudeau government suggested a 30% reduction in fertilizer use by agricultural producers.
00:01:57.840 I mean, such a reduction would deeply cut into crop outputs,
00:02:01.560 and the notion sparked a quick backlash from Canadian agricultural producers.
00:02:05.340 The government then hastily pointed out the 30% reduction is voluntary for producers.
00:02:08.900 But of course, what they're saying is, for now.
00:02:12.660 I mean, these guys are nuts.
00:02:14.080 They put $8.5 million into a cricket production facility.
00:02:18.720 Crickets for human consumption.
00:02:20.160 Yes, this is how mad they are.
00:02:21.500 I'm not making this stuff up.
00:02:22.440 Look it up.
00:02:23.220 $8.5 million.
00:02:23.960 Your tax dollars went to cricket production while they're attacking food production here.
00:02:28.800 We're being governed by zealots.
00:02:31.160 Don't expect rationality to come from Ottawa anytime soon.
00:02:33.760 Justin Trudeau desperately wants to be respected on the world stage.
00:02:36.900 He knows his intellect isn't going to get him there,
00:02:38.640 so he's hoping his actions as a climate crusader will garner him the international adoration he wants to revel in.
00:02:45.940 He knows nothing of supply chains, food needs, or agricultural production.
00:02:49.780 I mean, think about it.
00:02:50.480 Canada is led by a man whose servants shop for him
00:02:52.780 and chill his favorite cereal bowl in the mornings while he tries to pick out cute socks for the day.
00:02:57.180 He's never seen a grocery bill, much less a balance sheet from a farm.
00:03:01.540 But he's in the position to control our food supplies.
00:03:03.740 Think about that.
00:03:05.080 NGOs and environmental groups feed the agenda further.
00:03:07.820 The Suzuki Foundation.
00:03:09.020 Ah, yes.
00:03:09.480 David Suzuki and his foundation with his many, many homes just came out against domestic beekeeping.
00:03:15.720 Yes.
00:03:16.360 Because domesticated bees, as far as they're concerned, are a form of unnatural livestock,
00:03:20.300 and they might pressure wild bee populations.
00:03:23.320 Yeah.
00:03:23.940 Aside from the honey they produce, domestic bees are sort of an integral part of crop pollination for agricultural producers.
00:03:30.360 Bees are actually rented by farmers for this purpose.
00:03:34.500 Their crop yields will go down if they don't have these bees.
00:03:37.100 Suzuki and his elk don't care.
00:03:39.400 They aren't pro-environment.
00:03:40.700 That's what we've got to get driven to people's heads.
00:03:42.300 They are not pro-environment.
00:03:43.260 They're anti-human.
00:03:44.620 Big difference.
00:03:45.620 They want to drop world populations, and they don't care what it takes to do it.
00:03:50.540 Arguably, I guess.
00:03:51.440 A reduced world population would ease environmental pressures on the planet, whether from, you know,
00:03:56.700 the reduction in trash, water contamination, emissions.
00:03:59.180 Sure.
00:03:59.680 Fine.
00:04:00.520 But reducing the efficiency of food production isn't going to reduce the world's population
00:04:04.440 or improve the environment.
00:04:05.920 It's just going to make populations desperate, hungry, and impoverished.
00:04:10.240 The most environmentally friendly populations on the planet are all in the richest nations.
00:04:14.420 Blue bins, emission reduction plans, comprehensive waste management, those are all luxuries developing nations lack.
00:04:20.440 We take them for granted here.
00:04:22.180 Having a low birth rate is also a luxury only afforded to wealthy nations.
00:04:25.820 In developing nations, people need large families in order to survive and sustain a retirement.
00:04:30.300 In developed nations such as ours, we need immigration to counter our low birth rates.
00:04:35.280 Developing nations are also forced, of course, to use inefficient food production means,
00:04:38.600 such as slash-and-burn farming and burning high-emitting fuels from wood to coal to even animal dung to cook their food sometimes.
00:04:45.320 If we want to slow or even reduce human population growth, the path is through economic development for developing nations.
00:04:51.660 Make them rich enough to afford to be nice to the environment and stop breeding like we've been able to.
00:04:55.540 To do that, they need reliable, plentiful energy and food supplies.
00:05:00.420 And they need to become wealthy enough to cut back on breeding.
00:05:03.280 In other words, they need to do the opposite of what the environmentally fanatical nations are pushing them to do.
00:05:08.120 They don't need more windmills.
00:05:09.720 They don't need organic farming.
00:05:11.680 They need natural gas networks heating their homes and generating their power.
00:05:15.140 They need modern farms along with the associated chemicals for pest control and fertilizer.
00:05:19.140 In other words, they need all those things that Justin Trudeau and other vain virtue-signaling world leaders are denying from them.
00:05:26.220 Canada has abundant resources.
00:05:27.880 Not only will we not expand development of them for ourselves,
00:05:31.260 we're also being prevented from exporting them to those nations that need them most.
00:05:35.140 The environmental movement's hit new, revolting extremes.
00:05:38.160 It's working basically to starve populations into what they think is going to be a greener, new world, and it won't come.
00:05:43.540 The alarm bells are ringing now, guys.
00:05:45.400 Are we going to act and reverse this madness and food reduction,
00:05:47.800 or are we going to wait until the starvation actually sets in?
00:05:50.820 And guys, it's just going to start with the developing nations.
00:05:53.120 Don't think for a moment that we're immune for it and it won't come here next.
