It's a Druze village, and on July 27th, 2024, this is where a group of children were playing,
00:00:18.440
enjoying the afternoon sunshine when a rocket fired from Lebanon slammed into the ground.
00:00:25.620
12 children were killed, the closest to the bomb.

The kids, they thought it's a drone or aircraft or something.
00:00:42.080
They ran to this area where they had their bags and their sport equipment and everything.
00:00:47.060
And as you see, their toys, I would call it, they still parked here.
00:00:51.860
So they came to pick up their bags, go to the shelter, as you see there,
00:00:57.520
where they can find their parents that they are okay, you know.

It took us 72 hours to find his lower jaw only.
00:01:10.500
We had around 50 kids that they critically injured, you know, not just a scratch.

Children from this little community, some of them didn't speak for 10 months.

But now they're starting to come out of their shell.
00:01:24.040
And again, before we arrived, there were kids playing soccer on this field.
00:01:29.520
We talked to the parents of children who were killed.
