The markets are closed today with our friends to the south of us celebrating Independence Day. We ll take a look at a couple of the local feed grain markets. Cash barley is trading at $4.15 per metric, feed wheat is at 4.05 per metric and corn is unchanged at $3.90 per metric ton. The canola market is open. Nearby canola futures are up $11.20 to $747.60 per ton, with delivered values for July at $17 per bushel. Bitcoin is trading $31.052 per coin, which is up about 50% over the last year.
