00:00:13.880 I'm very happy to be able to stand and report to the Assembly today that as the new school year gets underway,
00:00:20.220 we've collected some additional information from our four metro school divisions.
00:00:24.300 Our four metro school divisions are reporting over 1,200 new teachers hired into the system,
00:00:30.660 over 450 additional educational assistants hired into the system, and over 94 other certified staff.

00:00:40.360 Mr. Speaker, of course, across the rest of the province, those numbers will be higher, but we're continuing to work with them.
