00:00:00.000 try and keep up, I guess, with what your kids are getting on to and what they're doing. So the deal
00:00:05.680 was with that, and I guess this is an ongoing scam, is some fake girl will find young guys 1.00
00:00:10.860 online or whatever and manage to fool them, talk them into thinking they're speaking to a girl. 0.80
00:00:17.640 And then when you're young and overladen with hormones, you can do foolish things. And he sent 0.92
00:00:21.440 pictures of himself that were pretty embarrassing, I guess, out there. And then suddenly they come
00:00:25.480 back with a blackmail request saying, all right, you give us money or we're going to send these
00:00:30.200 pictures to your family and post it on Facebook and YouTube and whatnot. It's horrible. And then
00:00:34.580 this poor kid, and kids react strongly, he killed himself out of fear and horror out of it. It's
00:00:39.360 just awful. It's an awful end. And just talk to kids, make sure they're aware of these things or
00:00:44.080 whatever. Hey, being caught in a compromising picture still isn't worth losing your life over,
00:00:48.540 even if it might feel like it when you're 14 or 15. And just watch out for these scams. It's just
00:00:53.800 what an awful thing this is. Horrible, horrible people out there.
