00:07:36.480 Calgary businessman Michael Spavor was sentenced today to 11 years
00:07:41.760 in a Chinese gulag, allegedly for spying.
00:07:46.440 Most of Canada seems to think it's a trumped-up charge.
00:07:50.180 Robert Schellenberg of Abbotsford, British Columbia,
00:07:54.920 on Tuesday had his death sentence upheld in a Chinese court.
00:08:00.820 And we know how the Chinese like to carry out executions,
00:08:04.400 a bullet to the back of the head,
00:08:06.360 and then they charge the family for the ammunition.
00:08:11.300 And there's still Michael Kovrig over there waiting,
00:08:15.380 languishing in a cell, waiting for his sentence.
00:08:18.660 So the prime minister came out today and wagged his finger,
00:08:22.260 as he usually does, and says it's unacceptable.
00:08:25.860 Former Tory foreign affairs minister came out, though, Peter McKay.
00:08:31.280 He said it's time for boycotts.

00:08:36.100 and we should start boycotting trade sanctions,

00:08:49.140 And he wants a boycott of the Olympic Games.
