00:00:00.000 There's been a cabinet shuffle. This is what I see as Justin Trudeau desperate, desperate.
00:00:06.200 I mean, he's been over and over. The polls are showing they're slowly but surely declining.
00:00:10.240 I mean, at best right now, if an election was held tomorrow, you'd have a conservative minority
00:00:13.740 government, and I don't see who they could form an agreement with to last a long time.
00:00:17.840 The NDP certainly wouldn't partner with them, but the liberals would not get the most seats
00:00:21.400 in the House if another election was held. And that trend keeps going down and down and down.
00:00:24.880 There's only two things a government can do in that case is change leaders or really shuffle
00:00:30.300 the cabinet and hope you've refreshed things enough that people will look at you with a new eye
00:00:36.920 and change things. I think it's too little too late. We'll see. But yeah, Mandicino's out to the
00:00:44.620 Minister of Lies. I mean, that was a given. That guy's a clown. He probably even Trudeau realized
00:00:50.640 he'd had to get rid of that guy months and months ago, but he had to wait for the opportunity the
00:00:54.740 next shuffle. So he's finished. Al Heg, Omar Al Hebra, I'm so terrible with names, but he's out. He was
00:01:01.300 in transportation, of course, the mess with the airlines, the strike on the dock. Carolyn Bennett,
00:01:07.720 she's been there for over 25 years. And yeah, she's out. We're not talking about moving from spot to
00:01:15.400 spot. They're out of cabinet altogether. So yeah, she's not going to run again. She was behind,
00:01:20.780 you know, she was the health or addictions and mental health minister. So she was behind the big
00:01:25.420 safe supply disaster that's unfolding in Vancouver right now as overdoses, you know, hit record numbers
00:01:31.440 and addicts just buy the safer supply pills and sell them to other addicts. It's a failed policy.
00:01:38.760 So Trudeau threw her out of cabinet, a few other lateral things and seven rookie cabinet ministers.
00:01:44.060 We'll see. But what I see, and I think of the method and way that Pierre Polyev works is he's
00:01:50.240 rubbing his hands together because he's going to have a cabinet full of rookies hitting. And part
00:01:54.840 of the reason is because Justin wants to keep his balance of women in there. So he really has narrowed
00:01:59.120 his pool on who he can pick for cabinet or not. Not to say there were no qualified women, but maybe not 1.00
00:02:04.080 enough to make that 50-50 he wanted and so on. And Polyev is going to rip into those rookie cabinet
00:02:10.660 ministers like they've never felt before when that next session hits and they better be well established
00:02:14.880 because if that new cabinet can't fix things up, the liberals are going to continue to decline.
