00:00:00.000 I was involved in this about 10 years ago during the David Eggins NDP era in Alberta.
00:00:08.340 And they had published the gender diversity best practices guidelines for our schools and were foisting on our children really an indoctrination.
00:00:18.440 Myself and a colleague wrote a detailed medical letter, not using Christian speak, but using medical data, using citations from papers that we had researched and read and put together and outlined our concerns.
00:00:35.960 They were medical concerns and in part parental concerns, but really we're focused on the medical side.

00:00:45.520 And the but I still felt, you know, we both felt really compelled to do this.
00:00:50.420 And the letter went viral at the time and we were actually castigated and brought before the University of Alberta.
00:00:59.560 All four years of the medical students were present and there was a petition that was signed that we should lose our credentials at the university.
00:01:08.220 The narrative that's often, you know, put out there that's inevitable, there's nothing we can do is wrong and it's false and we can push against that.
00:01:17.820 And in our in the province of Alberta, where I am, Premier Daniel Smith has done remarkable work in terms of banning transitorial surgery and puberty blockers, men competing in women's sports, parental opt-out for sex ed and parental notification regarding pronoun and gender ID change.
00:01:35.340 So this has been a tremendous advance in our province, Alberta, I hope that we carry widely to support these people.
00:01:42.460 And there's been some good work done for a pride pushback across the nation.
00:01:46.980 We see the National Pride Walkout, Flag Walkout Day.
00:01:50.560 We see a ban on pride or porn books, you know, school of porn books that focus on LGBT, as mentioned earlier by Tanya.

00:02:01.640 We saw that this now at the Toronto Pride, that there is a Home Depot, Google, Adidas, Nissan, they're all pulling out.

00:03:09.460 so they can have meaningful conversations with people and not be duped and trapped by such ideologies and to help others who are duped and trapped by those ideologies.

00:03:34.680 and celebrating, really, our commitment to God, our spouses, families, and communities.
