00:00:00.000 As a lifelong learner and former high school math and science teacher,
00:00:07.880 Shannon is passionate about education and ensuring children meet the world
00:00:13.060 with the best possible tools to be able to thrive in this rapidly evolving moment in history.
00:00:20.820 Human history.
00:00:22.080 Shannon has spent 20 years as a trusted advisor with fiduciary obligations.
00:00:32.320 The central conversation in his professional practice is the psychology of decision making,
00:00:41.560 understanding risk, and avoiding cognitive bias.
00:00:45.660 He helps people make the best possible choices during some of the most consequential moments in their lives.
00:00:56.560 Recently, Shannon became the founder and president of APIC's Digital Research Foundation,
00:01:04.140 an organization that taps into global thought leaders and researchers
00:01:08.920 seeking to understand the unprecedented and stunning rise
00:01:13.960 in the numbers of trans-identified children in the last decade.
00:01:20.020 Will you help me please welcome Shannon Bosche, please?
00:01:24.140 Good afternoon.
00:01:35.300 My name is Shannon Bosche.
00:01:36.580 I'm a candidate for Ottawa Carleton District School Board trustee in Zone 6.
00:01:43.480 The boundary of Zone 6 starts just in the Byward Market
00:01:47.260 and continues up until Blair Road, so very close by.
00:01:50.340 There are 12 zones in the Ottawa Carleton District School Board.
00:01:54.380 And I'm very excited to say that we have a great number of candidates running
00:01:58.140 to make people aware of what's going on in our schools.
00:02:02.700 I wanted to talk today a little bit, starting with a quoting of a Chinese proverb.
00:02:08.880 And that proverb is,
00:02:10.580 when everybody agrees that something is beautiful, that's truly ugly.
00:02:15.260 And the way I like to think about that is,
00:02:19.380 imagine how many votes that Vladimir Putin got in the last election.
00:02:23.760 Almost all of them, right?
00:02:26.100 And if you disagree with what is considered beautiful, the propaganda in Russia,
00:02:31.660 you might meet someone who says,
00:02:34.940 come with me, comrade.
00:02:36.420 Tall building, we take long walk off short ledge.
00:02:38.680 We're in a situation in Canada now where we are not allowed to speak
00:02:45.380 or question gender ideology as it's being taught in schools.
00:02:50.000 Anyone who asks those questions doesn't face a long walk off a short ledge,
00:02:54.520 but their careers are put at risk,
00:02:56.980 their reputations, their family relationships,
00:03:00.800 their businesses, and their futures.
00:03:03.500 Just about a year ago, my friend Chanel Fall and I met with Billboard Chris,
00:03:09.960 who many of you know, Chris Elston, here in Ottawa.
00:03:13.020 And we stood on a public street corner with signs that said,
00:03:16.420 children can't consent to puberty blockers,
00:03:18.440 and no one is born in the wrong body.
00:03:22.420 And thanks to organizations like Horizon Ottawa,
00:03:26.440 our mayoral candidate Catherine McKinney,
00:03:28.880 Ottawa Carleton District School Board trustee Lyra Evans and others
00:03:34.460 who whipped up a mob.
00:03:38.240 Reports say that we were mobbed by approximately 300 people.
00:03:42.760 It was a defining moment in my life,
00:03:44.920 and I walked away from that stunned.
00:03:50.400 Now, I wanted to share with you a little bit about my background
00:03:55.380 and about, I think, why so many people are concerned about this issue.
00:03:59.100 And I share this, and I think it's gauche,
00:04:02.160 and I think it's something that we don't need to be talking about,
00:04:05.580 but I am an abuse survivor.
00:04:08.760 I grew up in a family of secrets
00:04:10.720 where you weren't allowed to talk about things.
00:04:13.660 And if you talked about things,
00:04:15.000 that got you in an awful lot of trouble.
00:04:17.220 And it seems like there are incredible parallels
00:04:19.720 to what we're facing now as a society.
00:04:21.800 This year, I traveled across the country.
00:04:25.120 I drove from British Columbia here,
00:04:27.200 and then to the Maritimes.
00:04:28.780 And on my journeys, I talked with teachers,
00:04:31.000 I talked with public service workers,
00:04:33.160 first responders,
00:04:34.460 people working at various levels of government
00:04:36.260 who are all being influenced by this unholy trinity
00:04:40.420 that we call diversity, inclusion, and equity.
00:04:42.960 It's a false teaching
00:04:46.220 because it delivers exactly the opposite of what it claims.
00:04:51.460 And baked into this diversity and inclusion and equity,
00:04:54.500 DI, is gender ideology.
00:04:57.800 Gender ideology is a terrifying construct, 1.00
00:05:01.800 and we're teaching it to children in our schools.
00:05:04.960 While I was on the road this spring,
00:05:06.760 the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal heard a case,
00:05:09.360 Pamela Baphoni versus the Ottawa School Board,
00:05:12.040 about her daughter in grade one,
00:05:15.100 who was taught that there's no such thing as boys and girls,
00:05:17.940 and you get to choose your gender.
00:05:20.700 Grade one.
00:05:22.260 Now, that event was almost five years ago.
00:05:25.120 The policies written into the Ottawa District School Board,
00:05:28.460 OCDSB, were put in place in 2014,
00:05:31.980 the diversity, equity, inclusion, and gender identity policies
00:05:35.320 by now Assistant Director of Education,
00:05:38.380 Brett Reynolds.
00:05:40.300 These policies are being further rolled out
00:05:45.680 and implemented in our school systems,
00:05:47.520 and this concept that children can choose their gender
00:05:50.200 is being taught to everyone.
00:05:51.920 Now, in the same period of time,
00:05:53.760 recently in a CTV article,
00:05:56.860 the head of the Ottawa CHEO Gender Clinic
00:05:59.680 said that in 2014,
00:06:02.780 there were 12 children who presented to CHEO
00:06:05.280 with gender dysphoria.
00:06:08.000 And in 2021, there were 250.
00:06:12.320 That's a 2,000% increase
00:06:15.360 in the number of kids presenting for medical transition.
00:06:18.060 And in Canada, at CHEO,
00:06:21.260 we often get kids prescribed puberty blockers
00:06:25.200 or cross-sex hormones, wrong sex hormones,
00:06:27.980 on a first visit,
00:06:29.960 without any mental health background.
00:06:32.300 50% of gender clinics in Canada
00:06:35.260 do no mental health background
00:06:37.180 before prescribing sex changes to children.
00:06:41.460 Now, I promised when I was running for this campaign,
00:06:44.760 I promised myself that I was going to speak frankly
00:06:47.480 and speak openly and speak bluntly
00:06:50.280 about what's happening.
00:06:51.220 And my wife keeps telling me,
00:06:52.840 and I love her advice,
00:06:53.940 and I love her very much,
00:06:54.940 that I need to pace myself.
00:06:57.500 And I'm counting on you
00:06:59.520 that you have already come along this road
00:07:01.540 a fair distance
00:07:02.280 and so that you're going to be able to hear
00:07:03.900 and understand what I have to share with you.
00:07:06.720 The roots of critical theory,
00:07:09.320 the radical gender ideology
00:07:10.920 known as queer theory,
00:07:12.620 are inextricably intertwined with pedophilia.
00:07:17.320 In the 1960s,
00:07:19.820 John Money, a psychologist,
00:07:21.620 came up with this idea of gender identity
00:07:23.820 that's separate from the body.
00:07:25.340 This is only a 60-year-old idea in human history.
00:07:28.400 There is no history before this
00:07:30.500 that documents this.
00:07:33.140 He did medical experiments on young boys 0.96
00:07:36.180 and taught children to masturbate. 1.00
00:07:38.920 He was a pedophile himself. 0.99
00:07:41.640 We have numerous icons in this movement. 0.73
00:07:45.440 A woman by the name of Gail S. Rubin.
00:07:48.340 I'm going to read you the quote
00:07:49.360 because it's frightening.
00:07:51.460 The document that she wrote
00:07:52.720 is considered the founding document of queer theory.
00:07:56.140 It is called
00:07:59.560 Thinking Sex
00:08:00.580 Notes for a Radical Theory of the Politics of Sexuality.
00:08:04.620 This is 1984.
00:08:06.500 From her essay,
00:08:08.260 boy lovers are so stigmatized
00:08:10.480 that it is difficult to find defenders
00:08:12.560 for their civil liberties,
00:08:14.520 let alone for their erotic orientations.
00:08:17.660 Consequently, the police have feasted on them.
00:08:20.360 Local police, the FBI,
00:08:22.020 and watchdog postal inspectors
00:08:25.300 have joined to build a huge apparatus
00:08:29.840 whose sole aim is to wipe out the community of men 1.00
00:08:32.440 who love underaged youth.
00:08:35.460 In 20 years or so,
00:08:36.820 when some of the smoke is cleared,
00:08:38.660 it will be much easier to show
00:08:40.140 that these men have been the victims
00:08:42.220 of savage and undeserved witch hunts.
00:08:49.500 The documents,
00:08:50.700 the founding documents of queer theory,
00:08:52.560 this radical gender ideology 1.00
00:08:54.020 that we are teaching in school,
00:08:55.560 are inextricably intertwined with pedophilia,
00:08:59.760 and we are teaching it to kids in grade one.
00:09:02.900 Now, people like the activist Pierre Barnes
00:09:04.720 from British Columbia,
00:09:05.640 who's exposing these soft porn
00:09:08.880 and erotic materials
00:09:11.200 being written by consultants
00:09:14.160 and queer activists
00:09:16.480 and put in K-6 libraries
00:09:18.140 all across the country,
00:09:20.320 are teaching children
00:09:22.240 completely age-inappropriate ideas
00:09:24.620 about their sexuality and their identity.
00:09:27.300 Recently, we had news from British Columbia
00:09:29.520 of a consultant teaching kindergartners 0.98
00:09:31.940 to masturbate. 0.97
00:09:35.100 This is rife through our schools 0.99
00:09:37.780 at every single level.
00:09:40.400 There is an LGBTQ resource.
00:09:42.520 So the idea behind critical theory
00:09:45.480 is deconstruction of identities.
00:09:49.120 We socially construct our gender
00:09:51.640 is what the idea is.
00:09:53.180 And this is what we're teaching kids,
00:09:54.580 that we make up our gender.
00:09:57.240 Now, these people,
00:09:58.360 these queer theorists think 0.88
00:09:59.900 that categories are oppressive.
00:10:02.780 Language categories oppress people. 0.98
00:10:04.500 So we need to remove the meaning
00:10:05.980 of boys and girls
00:10:06.940 and let people be who they really are,
00:10:09.240 which end up being cross-sex hormones
00:10:11.560 and sex changes. 0.89
00:10:18.940 This is an awful lot.
00:10:20.840 I'm trying to pace myself
00:10:22.140 and I'm trying to pace you.
00:10:23.220 This queering of the world, 1.00
00:10:27.000 this Gayle S. Rubin,
00:10:28.680 is queering identities
00:10:30.020 and removing sexual boundaries 0.59
00:10:32.720 that we have held as sacred
00:10:34.960 to protect our children forever.
00:10:39.720 Michelle Foucault,
00:10:41.020 the founder of Postmodernism,
00:10:42.640 advocated for removing
00:10:43.940 all age of consent boundaries.
00:10:47.400 This Gayle S. Rubin,
00:10:48.580 the same thing,
00:10:49.340 advocating and defending pedophiles.
00:10:53.220 A hundred million dollars
00:10:54.780 has been allocated
00:10:55.640 to LGBTQ causes
00:10:57.500 by the Liberal government
00:10:59.020 on the Pride Day
00:11:00.580 several weeks ago.
00:11:02.300 Out of that,
00:11:03.420 there is a clause in there,
00:11:04.660 if you drill down,
00:11:05.760 to modernize
00:11:06.760 age of consent laws in Canada.
00:11:08.840 What exactly does that mean?
00:11:10.540 You can tell I'm passionate about this
00:11:16.720 and this afternoon
00:11:17.320 I'm going to talk about
00:11:18.320 the incredible research project
00:11:20.200 that I've been blessed
00:11:21.960 to be guiding,
00:11:23.820 working with some of the leading
00:11:25.020 medical researchers,
00:11:26.520 psychologists,
00:11:27.640 ethicists,
00:11:28.960 and thought leaders
00:11:30.320 on this in the world.
00:11:31.420 We're working with
00:11:31.960 the leading artificial intelligence company
00:11:33.900 to map the contagion
00:11:35.560 of gender ideology online
00:11:37.100 and figure out
00:11:38.100 how we can legislate
00:11:39.320 how to stop this.
00:11:41.840 My name is Shannon Beauchey,
00:11:44.360 OCD SB candidate
00:11:45.660 for school board trustee
00:11:46.980 here in Ottawa.
00:11:48.700 The election's October 24th.
00:11:51.380 Thank you very much.
00:11:53.100 Thank you.
00:11:53.560 Thank you.
