Action4Canada - Supreme Court Rally： Speech Jack Fonseca, Radical Sex Agenda Harming Children

00:00:00.000 Jack Ponseca is the Political Operations Director for Campaign Life Coalition,

00:00:07.100 a national pro-life, pro-family organization that works to end abortion and euthanasia

00:00:14.340 and defend the family, including parental rights in education.

00:00:20.100 As the Director of Political Operations, he works assiduously to electing godly men and women 0.99

00:00:27.880 to all levels of government, including during school board elections.

00:00:34.740 Jack has been heavily involved in opposing the anti-family LGBT sex agenda

00:00:41.300 that is being adopted in our school systems throughout the nation.

00:00:47.500 Jack lives in southwestern Ontario with his wife and two young children.

00:00:53.680 Please welcome Jack Ponseca.

00:00:57.880 Thank you very much.

00:01:04.260 I would like to start by thanking Action for Canada and Tanya Ghan, the organizers, for inviting us here,

00:01:10.820 but more importantly for organizing this rally to give that moral support that Barry Neufeld certainly needs.

00:01:19.620 When you're the only voice speaking out against this kind of evil, this kind of ideological indoctrination,

00:01:28.200 if you don't see anyone standing behind you, it can be extremely discouraging,

00:01:32.620 and the temptation to quit is enormous.

00:01:35.080 So it's very important that you're all here, and so thank you to the organizers.

00:01:39.280 Now, I am so very grateful to Barry Neufeld and to stand here in support of him.

00:01:49.280 The man is a hero in my eyes and I know in all of yours.

00:01:52.900 He has sacrificed a great portion of his time, reputation, and a degree of even of his freedom

00:02:00.920 to protect children from the ideology of gender identity theory 0.84

00:02:05.460 that is so tremendously harmful to their bodies and minds.

00:02:10.180 In a few minutes, I'm going to detail some of these shocking harms.

00:02:15.020 But first, Barry has suffered all manner of calumny and libel for loving children enough

00:02:21.340 that he was willing to swim against the warm, soothing currents out into icy waters.

00:02:27.820 That's where he is.

00:02:29.720 To stick out from the herd and in so doing make himself a target.

00:02:34.320 Hence, he finds himself here at the Supreme Court of Canada

00:02:38.740 with his one little lawyer facing a well-funded union boss

00:02:44.540 with a team of top lawyers most likely

00:02:48.060 and a dozen LGBT activist organizations and other left-wing organizations

00:02:55.880 which for some reason the court has allowed to come and defame him some more in this building.

00:03:04.320 While at the same time denying any intervenors whatsoever, not even one, not a single intervenor

00:03:12.460 to speak in defense and support of Barry Neufeld.

00:03:17.160 It feels to me very much like Trustee Neufeld is being lined up in front of a firing squad

00:03:23.220 and that it's the Supreme Court judges themselves

00:03:26.040 in approving this imbalance of a dozen intervenors

00:03:30.600 for the other side and none for Barry

00:03:36.360 that they're the ones arranging the execution.

00:03:40.020 I do hope I'm wrong.

00:03:42.020 But that is why we must pray for each of the judges

00:03:44.420 to allow the spirit of truth and the spirit of justice

00:03:47.520 to prevail in their hearts over the spirit of politics.

00:03:52.660 It's obvious that the government, medical, and media complex

00:03:56.200 easily overpowers any influence that Barry Neufeld possesses.

00:04:01.800 However, that behemoth is matched in size by the man's courage

00:04:06.200 and by his devotion to the best interests of the children

00:04:09.360 entrusted to his care.

00:04:11.480 Today, there are few brave enough to speak out about the harms

00:04:17.900 of the gender identity revolution being pushed by sex activists.

00:04:21.740 You've met some of them here, Shannon Boucher and others.

00:04:25.100 But there are fewer still who would stand their ground

00:04:27.700 when sex activists and their media backers rev up a hate campaign against them.

00:04:32.940 Most politicians cave immediately

00:04:34.940 and grovel for forgiveness,

00:04:38.040 recanting their beliefs and their principles.

00:04:42.500 But not trustee Neufeld.

00:04:45.160 When he became the victim of defamation

00:04:47.480 and an ensuing human rights tribunal complaint in British Columbia,

00:04:52.160 he pushed back and sued for libel.

00:04:55.440 No apologizing, no groveling,

00:04:58.680 no use of weasel words to the media

00:05:01.500 that aim at making the mob disperse

00:05:03.300 while also providing him some cover

00:05:04.900 back in his own constituency to his voters

00:05:07.220 to say, well, you know,

00:05:09.440 if you think about what I said,

00:05:10.560 I didn't really cave, you know,

00:05:11.920 there's other ways of looking at what I said.

00:05:14.440 He didn't do any of that.

00:05:16.320 No, Barry simply continued to speak the truth

00:05:18.700 and to stand by the truth to this day.

00:05:21.720 And let me tell you,

00:05:22.720 this is the kind of principal leadership

00:05:24.300 we need in our public schools.

00:05:26.960 But not only in our schools,

00:05:28.700 in our provincial and federal legislatures, 0.99

00:05:30.900 and yes, in our cowardly, lying spiritual leaders, 0.99

00:05:34.540 both Catholic and Protestant, 0.99

00:05:37.260 who have largely abandoned our children

00:05:39.040 to the cruel and harmful experimentation

00:05:40.980 of the gender theory ideologues.

00:05:44.200 There are some exceptions,

00:05:46.200 Pastor DiBartolo, of course,

00:05:48.340 but not many.

00:05:49.760 And now, how can I say with confidence

00:05:53.640 that the teaching of gender identity theory,

00:05:56.120 the belief that there are more than two sexes,

00:05:58.420 and that biology does not determine

00:06:00.200 whether one is male or female,

00:06:02.480 causes harm to children.

00:06:04.700 We need to only look at the fact

00:06:06.560 that schools are now in the business

00:06:08.420 of encouraging children to explore and discover

00:06:11.100 whether they might be transgender.

00:06:12.820 And then, once they've nudged kids

00:06:16.200 into thinking this way,

00:06:17.800 to affirm their delusion

00:06:19.260 of being the opposite sex, 0.99

00:06:21.300 and to facilitate puberty blockers

00:06:23.200 and cross-sex hormones, 0.92

00:06:24.580 which puts many of them on the path

00:06:27.360 to sex change surgery in the future.

00:06:30.920 How does this cause harm?

00:06:32.900 Does it really cause harm?

00:06:34.780 Well, let's analyze the side effects

00:06:36.820 of stage one in transitioning.

00:06:39.460 Puberty blockers,

00:06:41.020 which are typically given

00:06:42.440 between 10 to 12 years old.

00:06:45.320 In spite of what we are told

00:06:46.900 by these so-called experts,

00:06:49.120 puberty blockers are not reversible.

00:06:52.560 Researchers in Glasgow

00:06:53.920 and Oslo universities

00:06:55.340 studying the effects of puberty blockers

00:06:57.760 found that they produced

00:06:59.080 lasting reduction in spatial memory

00:07:02.500 and increased emotional instability.

00:07:06.440 Researchers in New York just recently

00:07:08.680 studying the effects of puberty blockers

00:07:10.880 in mice found that they produced depression,

00:07:14.120 despair-like behavior in the females

00:07:16.660 and hyperactivity in males.

00:07:20.100 This jives very, very well

00:07:22.520 with research done on humans

00:07:23.980 because the drug used in puberty blockers

00:07:26.240 has been used for a long time,

00:07:27.940 for many years, controversially,

00:07:29.940 to treat conditions

00:07:31.640 like endometriosis in women. 1.00

00:07:33.220 And so we know that that research

00:07:36.000 has long reported unwanted effects

00:07:38.600 on cognition, emotions,

00:07:40.820 and executive function.

00:07:42.640 Now, executive function is a medical term,

00:07:45.640 a scientific term.

00:07:47.060 What does that mean?

00:07:48.600 Should we be concerned

00:07:49.680 if our children's executive function

00:07:52.100 is impaired?

00:07:52.760 Well, executive function means

00:07:56.440 your ability to think adaptively,

00:07:58.540 to plan,

00:08:00.020 to organize,

00:08:01.480 to self-monitor,

00:08:03.220 to manage your time,

00:08:06.760 amongst other things

00:08:07.740 that the brain does.

00:08:10.160 Dr. John Whitehall,

00:08:11.700 a professor of pediatrics

00:08:13.320 at Western Sydney University

00:08:16.360 in Australia,

00:08:17.580 has said that while on puberty blockers,

00:08:21.320 quote,

00:08:23.240 the volume of the brain

00:08:24.900 decreases at a rate

00:08:26.740 10 times faster

00:08:28.340 than aging,

00:08:30.660 end quote.

00:08:32.040 Now, isn't that astonishing?

00:08:34.280 The healthcare and education system

00:08:37.300 pushing affirmation

00:08:39.020 and puberty blockers

00:08:40.100 as the cure to sexual confusion

00:08:42.380 in children

00:08:43.300 are causing children's brain volumes

00:08:46.300 to decrease at a rate

00:08:48.400 10 times faster

00:08:50.160 than the natural aging process.

00:08:52.620 This is child abuse.

00:08:54.540 And for calling this child abuse,

00:08:58.080 Barry Neufeld is in this court

00:09:00.380 facing persecution.

00:09:07.600 There is research

00:09:09.060 which suggests

00:09:10.420 that puberty blockers

00:09:11.860 cause irreversible infertility.

00:09:14.840 Do 10-year-olds understand that?

00:09:17.160 Can they appreciate

00:09:18.160 what that means?

00:09:22.060 Puberty blockers

00:09:23.140 can make bones brittle.

00:09:25.040 That's osteoporosis.

00:09:26.900 They can break more easily.

00:09:29.120 And they can stunt bone growth.

00:09:32.060 Now, a blocked child

00:09:33.440 will often end up shorter

00:09:35.200 than his or her peers

00:09:36.500 developmentally.

00:09:38.920 Which, if you think about it,

00:09:40.840 can also very easily

00:09:42.260 cause distress in children

00:09:43.580 watching their peers

00:09:45.900 at their own age level

00:09:47.420 develop faster,

00:09:48.980 get taller.

00:09:51.220 But is this unprecedented intrusion

00:09:54.140 into the minds

00:09:54.820 and bodies of children necessary?

00:09:56.340 What will happen

00:09:58.220 if parents do nothing

00:09:59.300 but watch and wait

00:10:00.960 while their child

00:10:02.040 fantasizes about its gender?

00:10:04.560 Can the child grow out of it?

00:10:06.400 Is that possible?

00:10:07.940 Well, scientific studies

00:10:09.780 prove that the vast majority

00:10:11.420 of children who identify

00:10:13.680 as transgender

00:10:14.400 will grow out of it

00:10:16.100 through puberty

00:10:17.200 if parents do little more

00:10:19.160 than gently watch and wait.

00:10:23.080 Unbelievably,

00:10:24.680 this likelihood

00:10:25.520 of growing out of it

00:10:26.960 is admitted

00:10:28.320 in no less than

00:10:29.660 the current

00:10:30.340 official

00:10:31.480 diagnostic

00:10:32.480 and statistic manual

00:10:33.660 of mental disorders

00:10:34.840 of the American

00:10:35.960 Psychiatric Association,

00:10:37.920 which is the Bible

00:10:38.860 of psychiatry.

00:10:40.240 In the DSM,

00:10:42.080 the current version,

00:10:42.920 DSM-5,

00:10:44.100 it states that

00:10:45.060 up to 97.8%

00:10:47.020 of boys

00:10:47.740 and up to 88%

00:10:49.380 of girls

00:10:50.740 have been reported

00:10:52.120 to desist

00:10:52.880 from their delusion

00:10:53.740 of being the opposite sex 1.00

00:10:55.660 or of being trapped

00:10:56.420 in the wrong body.

00:10:59.720 And this happens

00:11:00.780 prior to the onset

00:11:01.980 of puberty.

00:11:02.780 So 98% of boys,

00:11:04.600 88% of girls,

00:11:07.420 and yet we're told

00:11:08.220 that if we don't

00:11:09.240 put them on puberty blockers, 0.84

00:11:10.500 cross-sex hormones,

00:11:11.940 and put them on the path

00:11:12.900 to mutilating

00:11:13.640 sex change surgery,

00:11:15.760 there's going to be 0.99

00:11:16.360 massive suicides

00:11:17.160 amongst children.

00:11:20.000 If we leave them alone,

00:11:21.960 these ideas

00:11:22.940 will desist.

00:11:23.900 They will embrace

00:11:24.620 their biological reality,

00:11:26.880 their God-given bodies.

00:11:28.720 They won't have a problem

00:11:29.700 with it anymore.

00:11:31.720 Stage two

00:11:32.500 in transitioning

00:11:33.160 is cross-sex hormones,

00:11:34.840 which is giving testosterone,

00:11:36.860 high-dose testosterone,

00:11:38.380 to girls

00:11:38.860 and high-dose estrogen

00:11:40.520 to boys

00:11:41.220 to produce and sustain

00:11:42.780 the secondary sex 0.56

00:11:43.740 characteristics

00:11:44.320 of the opposite sex, 1.00

00:11:46.160 such as facial hair

00:11:47.360 on females

00:11:47.880 and larger breasts 1.00

00:11:49.020 and larger breasts 1.00

00:11:49.040 on males.

00:11:50.480 Children who do

00:11:51.600 stage one puberty blockers

00:11:52.980 almost always proceed

00:11:55.340 to stage two,

00:11:56.540 but these extremely

00:11:57.680 powerful hormones

00:11:58.960 must be given

00:11:59.820 for life

00:12:00.680 and must be monitored

00:12:03.920 for serious side effects,

00:12:05.920 including cardiovascular disease,

00:12:08.560 blood clots,

00:12:10.000 and various cancers.

00:12:11.280 Yes,

00:12:13.340 hormone therapy

00:12:14.140 is carcinogenic.

00:12:17.000 Studies have found

00:12:18.200 that prolonged use

00:12:19.040 of cross-sex hormones,

00:12:20.520 which as I said

00:12:21.860 must be taken for life,

00:12:24.040 are associated

00:12:24.760 with increased risk

00:12:25.700 for cancer,

00:12:26.780 including cancers

00:12:27.600 of the breast,

00:12:28.920 prostate,

00:12:29.540 cervix,

00:12:30.680 ovaries, 0.93

00:12:31.620 and vagina. 1.00

00:12:33.840 This sounds like 0.99

00:12:34.960 a wonderful,

00:12:36.400 safe,

00:12:37.080 and effective

00:12:37.740 medical treatment,

00:12:39.000 doesn't it?

00:12:39.380 What loving parent

00:12:41.980 wouldn't want

00:12:43.000 to put their child

00:12:44.740 on a treatment plan

00:12:46.180 like this

00:12:46.700 that makes your bones brittle,

00:12:48.500 stunts your growth,

00:12:49.740 makes you permanently

00:12:50.460 infertile,

00:12:52.000 and increases the risk

00:12:53.340 of you getting

00:12:54.240 heart disease,

00:12:55.760 blood clots,

00:12:57.060 and all manners

00:12:58.540 of cancer?

00:13:01.060 Stage three

00:13:02.260 of transitioning

00:13:03.180 is surgery

00:13:04.280 to amputate

00:13:05.280 perfectly healthy

00:13:06.340 body parts

00:13:07.020 and then to construct

00:13:08.720 simulations

00:13:09.420 of opposite-sex genitals. 0.74

00:13:11.880 This is very difficult,

00:13:13.080 very complicated,

00:13:14.280 and fraught

00:13:14.760 with complications.

00:13:16.560 According to

00:13:17.120 Dr. John Whitehall,

00:13:18.680 tissue grafts

00:13:19.480 may die.

00:13:22.760 Holes created

00:13:23.780 to look like 0.99

00:13:24.320 a vagina 1.00

00:13:24.740 can fill in. 0.99

00:13:26.580 Tubes can obstruct.

00:13:28.600 Openings can appear.

00:13:30.860 Lengths of bone

00:13:31.960 that are sometimes

00:13:32.640 placed in the shaft

00:13:33.720 to stiffen 1.00

00:13:34.740 the imitation penis 0.99

00:13:36.000 can protrude. 0.99

00:13:39.780 Bowels may perforate

00:13:41.420 and germs

00:13:42.640 can invade.

00:13:44.560 You can imagine

00:13:45.680 this is not

00:13:46.680 very pleasant.

00:13:49.160 But this,

00:13:50.260 my friends,

00:13:51.160 is where

00:13:51.580 BC school boards

00:13:52.880 and those

00:13:53.800 in most boards

00:13:55.020 in every province

00:13:55.940 and territory

00:13:56.540 of this great country

00:13:57.660 are trying to lead

00:13:59.260 our precious children.

00:14:00.200 gone are the days

00:14:03.420 when the boards

00:14:03.940 of education

00:14:04.660 were concerned

00:14:05.620 with developing

00:14:06.860 the cerebral,

00:14:08.680 the cerebral region,

00:14:10.420 the region in students

00:14:11.440 by helping them

00:14:12.400 excel in writing,

00:14:13.300 math, and science.

00:14:14.820 No,

00:14:15.440 instead of the cerebral region,

00:14:17.360 they seem to be fixated

00:14:18.720 on the pubic region.

00:14:21.620 And this is why

00:14:22.720 I've taken to call them

00:14:23.840 pubic school systems.

00:14:25.500 They're no longer

00:14:28.320 public school systems.

00:14:29.560 These are pubic 0.96

00:14:30.300 school systems

00:14:31.060 because it's all

00:14:31.940 they seem to

00:14:32.700 bloody care about.

00:14:36.920 And whether it's

00:14:38.080 BC or Ontario,

00:14:39.600 these education leaders

00:14:40.780 are totally obsessed 0.97

00:14:42.380 with sexual 0.72

00:14:43.020 indoctrination 0.84

00:14:43.640 of children.

00:14:44.960 Here in Ontario,

00:14:45.920 for example,

00:14:46.840 math and science

00:14:47.860 scores have been

00:14:49.440 falling year after year

00:14:51.000 for over a decade.

00:14:52.420 But sexual programming 0.96

00:14:53.940 eats up more

00:14:55.280 and more

00:14:56.040 of the school day

00:14:56.960 calendar

00:14:57.460 every single year.

00:14:59.780 It's astonishing.

00:15:01.660 And I'd imagine

00:15:02.400 it's the same story

00:15:03.240 in BC,

00:15:03.840 although I've never

00:15:04.380 seen figures for that.

00:15:06.780 Now I'd like to address

00:15:08.060 the myth

00:15:09.420 that pushed

00:15:11.640 by the establishment

00:15:14.320 media,

00:15:15.840 by the medical community

00:15:17.420 that's going along

00:15:18.380 with this dangerous,

00:15:20.800 dangerous experiment,

00:15:22.660 and by politicians

00:15:24.320 who support it

00:15:25.220 or bow down to it,

00:15:27.540 that if we don't

00:15:29.060 help children transition

00:15:30.420 and immediately

00:15:31.180 affirm their gender

00:15:32.720 delusion, 0.76

00:15:33.300 their sexual delusion

00:15:34.120 that they're trapped

00:15:34.700 in the wrong body,

00:15:35.820 that they're going 0.99

00:15:36.820 to commit suicide. 0.97

00:15:37.840 So we've got to do this 0.98

00:15:38.660 to save them

00:15:39.080 from suicide.

00:15:40.100 Well, 1.00

00:15:41.220 that is complete rubbish. 1.00

00:15:43.560 Complete rubbish. 0.99

00:15:44.520 The most authoritative 0.82

00:15:46.480 study in the world

00:15:47.840 on the health effects

00:15:50.000 to post-operative

00:15:51.140 transsexuals

00:15:52.760 was done

00:15:54.000 by the Swedish government.

00:15:55.920 It was a Swedish

00:15:56.460 cohort study

00:15:57.300 that followed

00:15:58.200 post-operative

00:15:59.120 transsexuals

00:16:00.280 over many years.

00:16:02.000 And what they found

00:16:03.180 was that post-operative

00:16:04.460 transsexuals,

00:16:05.240 those who underwent

00:16:05.940 sex change surgeries,

00:16:06.900 had a 19.2 times

00:16:09.840 higher risk

00:16:11.180 of suicide

00:16:12.120 and higher rate

00:16:13.320 of suicide.

00:16:15.440 Now,

00:16:16.040 take that in.

00:16:17.120 That's not a 19%

00:16:19.020 higher rate

00:16:19.800 of suicide.

00:16:21.080 A 19 times

00:16:22.660 higher rate

00:16:24.020 of suicide.

00:16:26.840 By affirming 0.94

00:16:28.160 a transgender identity

00:16:29.500 and encouraging

00:16:30.360 puberty blockers

00:16:31.860 and cross-sex hormones, 0.92

00:16:32.880 schools are putting

00:16:36.360 many of these

00:16:37.100 sexually confused

00:16:37.880 children,

00:16:38.400 these impressionable

00:16:39.080 children,

00:16:39.640 and some who are

00:16:40.360 doing it for a fad

00:16:41.280 to be different,

00:16:42.220 to be unique,

00:16:43.360 they're putting them

00:16:45.200 on the path

00:16:45.780 to sex change surgery.

00:16:48.100 And what that means,

00:16:49.260 given that statistic,

00:16:50.680 given that authoritative

00:16:51.620 Swedish cohort study,

00:16:53.160 is that

00:16:54.420 these schools

00:16:55.500 will be responsible

00:16:56.800 for putting children

00:16:58.240 in body bags, 1.00

00:16:59.420 for killing them. 1.00

00:17:02.880 the schools, 1.00

00:17:06.420 the politicians,

00:17:08.040 the medical establishment

00:17:09.320 that repeats

00:17:10.200 this lie

00:17:11.200 will be complicit

00:17:13.600 in the suicide

00:17:15.240 of these children

00:17:16.120 later in life,

00:17:18.120 perhaps 10 to 20 years later.

00:17:20.240 But nonetheless,

00:17:21.360 suicide for many of them

00:17:22.600 who go the path,

00:17:24.860 follow it to its conclusion

00:17:26.000 of sex change surgery.

00:17:30.140 When they regret

00:17:31.360 the irreversible changes

00:17:32.900 that they made

00:17:33.740 to their bodies.

00:17:34.760 But don't worry,

00:17:35.640 Justin Trudeau

00:17:36.420 and the Liberal Party

00:17:37.420 have a solution.

00:17:39.220 If you become so depressed

00:17:40.640 and suicidal,

00:17:41.840 they've made it easy 0.99

00:17:42.720 to kill yourself. 0.91

00:17:44.040 They've legalized 0.99

00:17:44.900 euthanasia.

00:17:46.320 And just recently,

00:17:47.420 they've expanded it

00:17:48.540 to reasons of mental health

00:17:51.560 and depression.

00:17:52.880 so that if you're

00:17:55.000 horribly depressed

00:17:56.360 and regret

00:17:57.300 the mutilation

00:17:58.840 of your body 0.90

00:17:59.520 that you did

00:18:00.100 many years ago

00:18:00.940 or even recently, 0.99

00:18:02.520 they can help kill you. 1.00

00:18:05.400 Problem solved. 0.99

00:18:10.200 These figures alone,

00:18:12.300 the Swedish cohort study alone,

00:18:14.500 should end the debate

00:18:16.180 once and for all

00:18:17.480 about whether encouraging

00:18:21.280 children to transition

00:18:22.460 should be banned

00:18:25.200 or allowed.

00:18:28.140 At least for those 1.00

00:18:29.360 under 18,

00:18:30.200 it should absolutely be banned.

00:18:31.700 It should be illegal nationwide

00:18:32.920 in every province

00:18:33.780 and territory nationwide.

00:18:35.700 It should be a crime.

00:18:37.740 If not for everybody,

00:18:39.540 including adults.

00:18:41.900 So we need Trussie Neufeld

00:18:44.020 to win this court case

00:18:45.160 so we can continue

00:18:46.440 to advocate

00:18:46.980 for the best interests

00:18:47.840 of children.

00:18:49.060 We need the Holy Spirit

00:18:50.440 to soften the hearts

00:18:51.380 of these nine justices

00:18:52.380 today,

00:18:53.360 tomorrow,

00:18:54.100 and over the coming

00:18:54.860 weeks or months

00:18:55.660 as they write their ruling.

00:18:58.040 The problem

00:18:58.980 of ideological

00:19:00.040 pro-liberalism,

00:19:01.460 anti-traditionalism

00:19:04.940 bias in the judiciary

00:19:06.040 is massive.

00:19:07.700 And let me give you

00:19:08.340 an example.

00:19:10.460 Justice Beverly McLaughlin

00:19:11.860 was the Chief Justice

00:19:12.960 of the Supreme Court

00:19:13.980 of Canada.

00:19:15.160 She was on the bench

00:19:16.280 from 2000 to 2017

00:19:18.040 until she retired

00:19:19.920 and presided over

00:19:21.340 many horrible decisions

00:19:22.640 such as the 2005 ruling

00:19:24.780 which legalized

00:19:25.880 swinger clubs,

00:19:27.460 that is,

00:19:28.100 businesses where people

00:19:29.020 can engage

00:19:29.740 in group sex. 0.55

00:19:31.940 McLaughlin wrote

00:19:32.860 in her majority opinion

00:19:34.440 that such clubs

00:19:35.540 do not pose any harm

00:19:36.920 to society whatsoever,

00:19:38.500 so they should no longer

00:19:39.900 be illegal.

00:19:40.420 Well, not long after

00:19:43.160 her retirement,

00:19:44.380 she was invited

00:19:45.100 to attend,

00:19:45.740 as judges often are,

00:19:47.540 to attend a prestigious

00:19:48.800 dinner event

00:19:49.540 where many societal leaders

00:19:51.280 were invited

00:19:51.880 from business,

00:19:53.640 politics,

00:19:54.260 law,

00:19:54.700 and religious leaders.

00:19:56.300 By coincidence,

00:19:57.480 Justice McLaughlin

00:19:58.380 was seated

00:19:59.820 for the evening

00:20:00.800 next to a certain

00:20:01.580 Catholic bishop

00:20:02.360 who I probably shouldn't name

00:20:04.260 so I won't.

00:20:05.240 during the course

00:20:07.040 of the evening

00:20:07.880 that former Chief Justice

00:20:09.560 of this Supreme Court

00:20:11.300 turned to the religious leader,

00:20:15.180 to that Catholic bishop 0.95

00:20:16.100 and rubbed in his face

00:20:17.840 that when she travels

00:20:19.480 to foreign nations

00:20:20.700 that still adhere

00:20:22.320 to Christian values,

00:20:24.080 to biblical beliefs

00:20:24.860 in their laws,

00:20:26.080 that she tries

00:20:27.740 to use her prestige

00:20:30.140 and influence

00:20:31.140 as a former Supreme Court Justice

00:20:34.300 to undermine

00:20:35.440 the laws

00:20:36.080 in those nations

00:20:36.820 which are based

00:20:37.720 in Christian teaching.

00:20:39.900 Can you imagine

00:20:41.000 the audacity

00:20:41.820 of this person?

00:20:43.520 It was a way

00:20:44.500 of insulting

00:20:45.180 the Catholic bishop,

00:20:46.440 of letting him know

00:20:47.540 just how much contempt

00:20:49.140 she has

00:20:50.080 for him

00:20:50.640 and for the Christian religion.

00:20:53.960 So with that story

00:20:55.240 as a backdrop,

00:20:56.520 I would like to invite you

00:20:57.680 to pray with me

00:20:58.420 for each of the justices

00:20:59.560 hearing Trustee Neufeld's

00:21:00.780 case today.

00:21:01.900 They need the prayers.

00:21:02.820 As I say each

00:21:04.440 of their names,

00:21:05.400 I invite you

00:21:06.180 to just silently pray

00:21:07.580 come Holy Spirit

00:21:08.980 into the heart

00:21:09.500 of this judge.

00:21:10.780 Not out loud,

00:21:11.620 just silently.

00:21:13.660 First,

00:21:14.820 Justice Richard Wagner.

00:21:20.840 Justice Andromash

00:21:22.280 Karakatsanis.

00:21:27.380 Justice Suzanne Cote.

00:21:28.960 Justice Suzanne Cote.

00:21:29.020 Justice Suzanne Cote.

00:21:32.820 Justice Russell Browne.

00:21:39.780 Justice Malcolm Rowe.

00:21:45.780 Justice Sheila Martin.

00:21:51.160 Justice Nicholas Kassirer.

00:21:56.820 Justice Mahmoud Jamal.

00:22:00.540 And finally,

00:22:04.880 Justice Michelle Obaniswin.

00:22:11.840 So I think it's appropriate

00:22:13.160 to end in prayer

00:22:14.580 and I thank you all

00:22:15.460 for your time

00:22:16.000 and I thank you

00:22:16.580 most importantly

00:22:17.120 for coming out

00:22:17.900 and giving Barry Neufeld

00:22:19.120 the moral support

00:22:20.280 that he so desperately needs

00:22:22.080 and deserves.

00:22:22.980 Thank you.

00:22:23.440 access to the

00:22:24.200 and I thank you

00:22:25.100 for coming up

00:22:26.400 and I appreciate it.

00:22:28.860 Thank you.

00:22:29.780 Thank you.

00:22:30.120 Thank you

00:22:32.480 You
