00:00:20.440 My question to the board is what are you doing to course correct and improve mental health
00:00:25.520 and well-being for our students? I'd like your answer to address these three areas that
00:00:30.640 deeply affect emotional and psychological safety and well-being for our children, even
00:00:36.120 the parents and communities. These policies are causing massive harm with fear-mongering,
00:00:42.880 division and hate, and our children are suffering because of it.
00:00:47.320 Number one, fear. This would enforce the worst lockdowns in the world during COVID without
00:00:52.640 proper science. Force our children to mask without following safety regulations. They
00:00:57.760 only stopped this abuse when concerned parents pressured the board multiple times. This has
00:01:03.040 still caused massive mental and physical health issues.
00:01:06.320 Number two, division. This board promotes Marxist ideologies like critical race theory, which
00:01:12.800 teaches the kids to identify as victims or label others as persecutors. All kids are wonderful
00:01:19.280 and beautiful, but critical race theory teaches hate and division instead of love and respect.
00:01:27.600 This board needs to stop dividing groups and stop the discriminatory practice of flying special
00:01:35.600 national interest flags that favour one group instead of unifying all kids.

00:04:36.860 I just returned from the Durham District School Board meeting tonight and wow, was it a doozy.
00:04:42.860 I had an important question to ask about mental health and well-being for our children.

00:04:53.520 And I've seen really troubling signs over the last few years, as have many other parents.

00:07:38.620 amid the growing number of lawsuits who permanently damage kids who are more depressed than ever?
00:07:46.280 However, stop sexualizing our children and normalizing sterilization.
00:07:51.540 Let kids make personal, permanent, life-altering decisions on medical procedures without school
00:07:58.840 interference or pressure and let them do it when they're more mature.
00:08:03.280 The result of your policies is that our kids are sicker and more anxious than ever and they're

00:08:16.280 Suicide rates among youth have never been higher in this country.
00:08:20.280 Isn't this a sign that the board and all the boards across Canada are going in the wrong

00:08:34.040 instead start teaching reading, writing and math and other important skills for their future?
