00:02:29.900 Questions loom over who will foot the bill of New Zealand's climate adaptation plan. The

00:02:35.020 government's unveiled a framework for dealing with the impact of rising seas, increasing heat

00:02:39.960 and extreme weather. It will outline plans for abandoning areas no longer safe to live in and

00:02:45.580 a funding model for the transition.

00:02:49.240 Co-leader of the Green Party, James Shaw, has recently presented what's called the Climate

00:02:53.660 Adaption Plan. He said that he hopes it will become legislated within the next few months.

00:02:59.920 A major focus of the Climate Adaption Plan, also known as the National Adaption Plan, is what's

00:03:05.120 been called Managed Retreat. This is the term that's been given to the plan to relocate rural

00:03:12.240 dwellers to smart city locations.

00:03:14.940 So, one of the things in the adaptation plan is that we're going to become more directive

00:03:19.180 about where we're able to build in the future.

00:03:24.120 Extensive Resource Management Act reform is underway in New Zealand, and James Shaw tells us that

00:03:29.520 Managed Retreat laws will extend this reform much further. He says that these changes will

00:03:35.020 affect up to 50% of New Zealanders, in particular those who live on or near the coast. These laws

00:03:41.600 will not only apply to future building, but also to existing homes and businesses.

00:08:41.440 residents of Hawke's Bay are under threat from rising seas. As always, not a shred of actual

00:08:47.520 proof is provided to back up this claim. A cyclone and a flood is a completely different issue than

00:08:53.680 rising sea levels. See how they blatantly manipulate the truth? What a load of garbage. I know people who

00:09:01.520 live in Napier and they can say with certainty that the sea is right where it's always been.

00:11:03.600 which is another buzz phrase for this scheme. They love re-words it seems, like remaking, re-imagining,

00:11:11.840 re-thinking, resilience, retreat, relocate, reset, basically redoing everything and removing human

00:11:21.280 rights in the process. Anyway, as it explains here, managed retreat will involve buyouts, land swaps,

00:11:28.400 rebuild restrictions, land use control, and compulsory property acquisitions, aka government

00:11:34.640 theft of property. And don't you just love the arrogant way they describe dislocating people from

00:11:39.840 their land as challenging? And how they describe this as something that the people are asking for

00:11:45.680 because of climate change. Then they double down on their manipulation, giving us a random example of

00:11:52.080 how Maori are the example for us here because back in 1850 there was a chief who shifted his people

00:11:58.480 because of a flood. Just to clarify, we are not asking for managed retreat or smart cities. That's a lie.

00:12:05.680 In fact, it's quite the opposite. People all over the world are vehemently expressing their opposition,

00:12:12.240 actually, and being completely overridden by globalist controlled governments. There's token
