01:08:51.000 And it remained quiet until a couple of months ago, and then I Then I got on the air with some programs and some publicity.

01:09:00.000 And on July 1st, I was threatened directly by the chief judge here, threatened with the quote, discipline.

01:09:09.000 This particular judge has been circulating, communicating to the other federal judges, seeking anything negative she can get against me to try and discipline me after I've been on this court here for 30 years with no disciplinary problems at all.

01:09:23.000 This is suddenly happening, and her assistants who were on the committee of the court, met with me July 1st in Tala Lato, California, and threatened me directly, held up a copy of the lawsuit and said, "The judge wants you to dismiss this.

01:09:37.000 She doesn't like the content of it.

01:09:39.000 This is politically incorrect.

01:09:41.000 This is outside the norm." My director, I said I represent over 400 plaintiffs here.

01:10:19.000 I got a call from Ashcroft's Justice Department a few months ago about this, demanding that I drop the suit, threatening sanctions and all kinds of things, and I refused to drop it.

01:10:34.000 My office in San Francisco was broken into about six months ago.

01:10:38.000 The file cabinets, it was obvious that they had been rifled through.

01:10:44.000 Files dealing with this particular case, and particularly with the documents I have regarding the fact that some of these hijackers, at least some of them, were on the payroll of the U.S.

02:14:29.000 Well, Kennesaw, Georgia said you have to own a gun and their crime rate went down 87% in one year.

02:14:36.000 And what they were primarily after was what they got.

02:14:38.000 They wanted to make sure that, like you said, if a guy breaks into a house in Kennesaw or in Central Texas, he wants to make sure that house is empty.

02:17:02.000 He didn't in March, and a half-decent bill that would have tried to block some of the lawsuits against gun dealers and manufacturers for what criminals do with guns, it was sunk because of the anti-gun amendments that got added on.

02:17:17.000 And we've got to protect the gun manufacturers and the dealers.

02:17:20.000 That is absolutely essential, and we can do it.

02:17:23.000 And I think next year, Lord willing, we will.

02:33:52.000 And the way, you know, let me tell you something against my interest But to show you that when the Congress decides they want to do something, they forget all about how the Supreme Court is the last word.

02:34:03.000 The Supreme Court said that it was unconstitutional to have a law saying you couldn't have a gun on a school ground, certainly at the federal level.

02:34:11.000 Once in a while, the Supreme Court gets something right.

02:34:13.000 Well, I was really happy.

02:34:15.000 Well, the Congress said, no, we don't agree with that, and they passed the law back again.

02:34:22.000 Now, that's constitutional as far as the Congress not going along with the Court.

02:34:27.000 Because we have a recourse to vote them out of office.

02:34:30.000 That's why they're more important.

02:34:34.000 But the point here that I want to elaborate on is that the Supreme Court has said in the past that black people aren't human beings, and the states and the population just said, no, they are.

02:34:49.000 During the run-up to the war between the states, I think all the northern states, but most of them anyway for sure, and I've got copies of some, passed nullification laws where they said the Dred Scott decision and the Fugitive Slave Law is null and void in this state.

02:35:10.000 We absolutely could.

02:35:13.000 We could do it with anything, really, that people finally decided they've had too much.
