02:24:40.000 And they sell to the public calls.

02:24:45.000 Like, you can buy a call to purchase gold at $920 and you pay a fee for that.

02:24:53.000 And when the term is up, usually a month and a half or two months hence, Uh, then if the price of the gold is $950, you've made some money for yourself.

02:25:06.000 And when we see, and this is very prevalent in August, which is at the end of the July month, and also in December, these are the big months, historically.

02:25:17.000 And when you see a great many contracts or options that have been sold to people, or what they call in the money, In other words, they're profitable.

02:25:31.000 What happens is, like clockwork, with the CFTC, the Commodity Futures Trading Corporation, standing by watching them do this market rigging, they drive the price down like they just did from $980 to $920 an ounce, and wipe out the profits of all of those people who have those call options.

02:25:54.000 And that's one of the reasons why we saw this Recent correction and those contracts terminate on Monday So there's only two trading days left after today and then the pressure will relieved and gold will turn around at along with silver and go right back up again and sometimes the United States government is behind that doing it and sometimes they're not and More often than not they are We can't prove that because when we question government,

02:26:25.000 they won't tell us that but Because we don't have a need to know and it's a secret.

02:26:29.000 What is the mechanism, and they'll occasionally lop the head off of some mid-level person or some low-level person like Martha Stewart involved in nothing, while the main crimes go on to, you know, throw somebody to the wolves, the naked shorting, what is the predatory mechanism?

02:26:45.000 And we know they don't just do things to keep new money or new elites down and smaller, faster-moving, more aggressive companies down.

02:26:54.000 What is the mechanism, profit-wise, for the naked shorting of companies that are smaller?

02:27:03.000 Well, in order to short, you bet a stock is going to go down.

02:27:07.000 And let's say it's IBM and IBM's 100.

02:27:11.000 And you want to bet on 100 shares on the short side of the market that IBM's going to go down.

02:27:20.000 But in order to do that, The brokerage firm that you're with must be able to borrow that stock.

02:27:26.000 And you pay a fee to borrow that stock from somebody else.

02:27:32.000 That's the way the system works.

02:27:34.000 And if you don't do that, you've got a naked short.

02:27:38.000 Now, there's two profit centers here, basically.

02:27:41.000 The first one is the bank, the brokerage firm, the investment bank, who lends the stock, gets paid for it.

02:27:52.000 The client who stock that they borrow doesn't get paid for it.

02:27:56.000 They call it a hypothecation agreement.

02:28:00.000 And so what the banks, the brokerage firms, etc.

02:28:04.000 have been doing is, let's say a thousand people came to them and wanted to borrow a hundred shares of IBM stock.

02:28:13.000 And let's say they only had a hundred.

02:28:15.000 What they were doing and are doing today is lending A thousand people, that hundred shares of stock.

02:28:23.000 And they're getting paid for it.

02:28:25.000 That fee.

02:28:27.000 And at the same time, they're allowing all these people to go naked short.

02:28:31.000 And some of them aren't aware that they're naked short and some are.

02:28:36.000 The second phase of that is in trading departments.

02:28:40.000 I belonged to the L.A. Traders for 25 years.

02:28:45.000 And I was a professional trader as well as a stockbroker.

02:28:49.000 In doing transactions, in particular stocks, if you initiate a short, you're supposed to have that stock available in-house or from somebody else to be able to borrow if, as a trader, you're shorting.

02:29:04.000 Well, these traders don't want to bother to find out because they're going 50 miles an hour whether they get the stock in-house or not.

02:29:12.000 They just do the trade.

02:29:14.000 And so, very, very often, they know that they're naked short, but they don't care.

02:29:19.000 Because nobody ever calls it on.

02:29:21.000 So that's another profit center.

02:29:23.000 The most important part of naked shorting to me is the ability of large companies at the behest of the United States government to drive down the prices of specific stocks.

02:35:09.000 Oil went down for two reasons.

02:35:11.000 Number one, there was a massive margin, excuse me, a margin call, and there was a very large firm which just went bankrupt, and they were long oil, and they got caught.

02:35:22.000 They had to cover their shorts, and that drove the price up.

02:35:28.000 You know, to $147 a barrel.

02:35:31.000 When that happened, producers stepped in and started selling oil forward.

02:35:38.000 Mexico is one of the big sellers.

02:35:40.000 And they drove oil back down again.

02:35:42.000 They thought that was a good price to sell their oil out, and that's natural.

02:35:47.000 Anyway, I think oil has support level 120, 125.

02:35:52.000 I think we've seen, again, a short-term intermediate Turn bottom on gold and silver.

02:35:59.000 It's a buy-in here at these levels.

02:36:01.000 They banged it and banged it and banged it today, and they came right back again.

02:36:05.000 And so I like the positions.

02:36:07.000 Incidentally, there's a reverse head and shoulders on gold, and it's about ready to fly.

02:36:15.000 And so, folks who don't understand, they believe it was the summer peak, as they do in the cycle.

02:36:21.000 People are going to think now that $4 a gallon is great.

02:36:24.000 And the next summer it'll be $5, $6 a gallon, and then we'll then go back in the winter back down to $4.50, and people think it's low.

02:36:32.000 That's the cycle.

02:36:33.000 Look at the seven-year graph on oil.

02:36:35.000 And so you're saying they dumped a whole bunch of oil, Mexico and others, on the market at its peak.

02:36:40.000 That created a glut for a time, and then now we will see oil prices not peak again above It's hard to say.

02:37:01.000 An absolute bottom would be $80.

02:37:04.000 More likely it'll trade between $1 and $1.50.

02:37:08.000 And that's, of course, if there's no wars going on, that are new wars.

02:39:04.000 But I think people are starting to realize, a report came out today from the head analyst Merrill Lynch, that earnings were not going to be nearly as good as people thought they were going to be, and he expected the market to sell off, and that's a logical conclusion.

02:39:20.000 But I think the market's going to get hit again in October, irrespective of the election, because the people behind the throne, so to speak, don't care who's elected, they control them both.
