People like Shaykh Uthman Farooq came to reconcile between us and you rejected it.
00:00:10.000
Islamnet is raising funds to establish a masjid and community centre in Norway.
00:00:14.000
Every person who prays there, every kid that learns about Islam,
00:00:19.000
all of this and so much more can be on your scale of good deeds.
00:00:24.000
As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi barakatuh brothers and sisters and dear friends.
00:00:29.000
I'm doing this video and I do not intend on doing any follow-up videos inshaAllah
00:00:35.000
I'll be honest with you. It's a waste of Umrah's time.
00:00:38.000
And the reason I'm doing this is so you guys can have a bit of context.
00:00:41.000
Now I'm going to sub-categorise the people that are watching this.
00:00:43.000
There's going to be Rottenwood or enemies of Islam basically.
00:00:48.000
Then you have people that don't like myself and hijab or whoever it may be.
00:00:52.000
And then you have those who do not are aware, who are not biased.
00:01:00.000
And the other group is those who have no idea what's going on.
00:01:09.000
They don't really bother me. I'll be honest with you.
00:01:10.000
People that dislike me or the enemies of Islam, you're not my concern.
00:01:13.000
So, I want to start the video off very categorically clearly saying that.
00:01:20.000
I got into a discussion where I had some objectives with an individual who was a clear-cut enemy of Islam.
00:01:24.000
Who has insulted the Prophet for God knows how long.
00:01:27.000
He makes a career out of this. He earns money out of this.
00:01:31.000
Same individuals who insult the Prophet, dehumanize Muslims and mock the death of Muslims.
00:01:35.000
A pilgrimage. Can you imagine anywhere but a pilgrimage?
00:01:38.000
When they go in there, when they're in it, they don't have...
00:01:40.000
They just go in there to just have a connection with their Lord.
00:01:44.000
And this individual actually mocks their death.
00:01:47.000
And these are the people that dehumanize Muslims.
00:01:49.000
And I again say are the main reason why Muslims get attacked on the street.
00:01:54.000
My wife, walking down the road on myself, being attacked.
00:01:58.000
I have no doubt that if the New Zealand attacker, Christchurch, watched these two individuals' videos,
00:02:02.000
he would not say, you know what, they've changed my mind against Muslims and Islam.
00:02:09.000
No, instead he would carry more armor, more bullets to kill more Muslims.
00:02:15.000
So therefore, I want to make that very category clear of who I was dealing with.
00:02:27.000
But my hate towards him was so great because of all these things that I mentioned.
00:02:39.000
Desecrating the Quran and many, many more things.
00:02:52.000
However, dealing with the enemy and expecting blows from the enemy is something we all expect.
00:02:57.000
That's why in the Quran, Allah is so severe by the Munafikun.
00:03:01.000
Because they are people who pretend to be Muslims.
00:03:03.000
And they, you know, they try to, you know, pretend to be Muslims.
00:03:07.000
And they are digging their grave basically, you know, in the back.
00:03:17.000
But you do not expect that from a person who you have a private dialogue with.
00:03:44.000
And Alhamdulillah, all of them got in contact with me.
00:03:47.000
Not all of them got in contact with me regarding this discussion.
00:03:51.000
And, you know, they shared their disappointment.
00:03:54.000
Not only just in like, you know, what happened with this brother Sajid and what he did.
00:03:59.000
But also, also their Nasir and their disappointment in the way I conducted myself.
00:04:06.000
However, what I'm trying to say here is that where a lot of people who went on the other spectrum.
00:04:14.000
Now, I want to make it very categorically and clear.
00:04:23.000
Anytime I've advised other people, YouTubers, whatever it may be.
00:04:28.000
Which is that if someone is an open facet doing evil deeds and promoting it.
00:04:34.000
And Wallahi, even with these people, we try to reach out to them in private.
00:04:38.000
Because we don't want the Muslims to seem like we're attacking each other.
00:04:42.000
So with an Fasik, somebody who's an open evildoer, calling to evil.
00:04:51.000
If you're sincere, you would say, look, if I'm an opportunistic person, I would say,
00:04:58.000
Because that shows I have a disease in my heart.
00:05:13.000
So, therefore, we have no choice by talking to our people of knowledge.
00:05:21.000
You have to do a public video trying to advise them.
00:05:25.000
Because if you are sincere, you would not want to look for opportunities.
00:05:31.000
He said, if one advises their brother in public, he's disgraced them.
00:05:35.000
And if he's advising them in private, he's honored them.
00:05:39.000
I'm not saying necessarily anyone that does something in public is humiliating them.
00:05:43.000
Because if he's an open facet, you're bound to.
00:05:45.000
Now, what surprised and shocked me are two things.
00:05:48.000
I had the discussion Friday night, towards midnight.
00:05:55.000
Yes, the issue of what he did about hijab going in public was, I believe it was wrong.
00:06:09.000
Saturday, he films it with another brother called Aftar Rahman.
00:06:14.000
And the video is out first thing Sunday morning.
00:06:17.000
Now, I want you guys to put yourself in my shoes.
00:06:23.000
If I do wrong, I am bound to be corrected publicly.
00:06:29.000
And we know Ibn Taymiyyah in his book, Majmah Fatawa, has said that when it comes to the Prophet,
00:06:35.000
If not with your hand, stop it with your tongue.
00:06:36.000
If not with your tongue, hate it in your heart.
00:06:38.000
He said this is the first one is mainly generally to the rulers.
00:06:43.000
The second one, obviously, is someone that can, you know, speak out against it.
00:06:47.000
But Ibn Taymiyyah says, if the harm is going to be greater, then you're not actually enjoying the good and fear within evil.
00:06:55.000
You're trying to do something good, but you're causing more harm.
00:06:57.000
As a person of knowledge, Sajid, who has studied in Medina, I couldn't believe the way he rushed about it and edited and filmed and released it the next day.
00:07:08.000
And with this, by the way, there's general public Muslims who are put into the categories.
00:07:12.000
Not these ones who jump on board, make fake accounts.
00:07:15.000
That would be a delusion to think that all of them are fake.
00:07:17.000
There were genuine people who came and said it was not conducted right.
00:07:21.000
And to me, this shows that even though I kind of maybe wrestling with a pig got messy.
00:07:26.000
The Muslim umma standards are so high that they call it out.
00:07:29.000
And I'm not talking about what Sajid and others done.
00:07:34.000
But those who genuinely came and criticized in a positive way.
00:07:39.000
That shows me how honorable Islam has made Muslims.
00:07:47.000
They did say, brother Ali, maybe here that was wrong.
00:07:52.000
These are people who are either pretending to be Muslim.
00:07:59.000
Most of the time you talk about good adab, good character, etc.
00:08:07.000
But then come and say to you, stop doing dawah.
00:08:18.000
People who were sincere, which the names are mentioned about.
00:08:20.000
Shaykh Farooq, Hijab, Hamza Azor says, I had meetings behind the scenes.
00:08:30.000
Some of the criticism might be a little bit harsh.
00:08:36.000
I was a bit angry, upset that Sajid goes and does this.
00:08:47.000
Because he believes I caused damage to Islam with Abdul Rahman Hassan.
00:08:55.000
Because he'd done a video on the Free Muslim Podcast, I think.
00:08:58.000
And he mentioned that there should be reconciliation.
00:09:28.000
He didn't catch me in an argument for it to be a disaster.
00:10:05.000
There's hundreds and thousands of people coming to Islam.
00:10:06.000
So to me, I know Alhamdulillah Islam is the truth.
00:10:15.000
So to me, I don't see it as a loss in that sense.
00:10:25.000
Because even though I made myself look cringe and embarrassing at certain moments.
00:10:30.000
Even though I had certain objectives which I fulfilled.
00:10:58.000
Now this puts into account your intentions to me.
00:11:02.000
Because if your intentions were in the right place.
00:11:05.000
You would never rush to do a video on such a matter that wasn't extreme.
00:11:08.000
You didn't see me go there and swear at his mom.
00:11:37.000
Now why are you not coming to the reconciliation table?
00:11:47.000
Just because someone speaks on a specific tone.
00:11:56.000
Because if Sajid genuinely wanted the good for the Muslims.
00:12:55.000
And you are willing to carry on doing your videos.
00:13:33.000
I've just finished watching the debate between Ali Dawah and Apostate Prophet.
00:15:09.000
Look at their approach towards the enemies of Islam.
00:21:29.000
And the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said.
