00:02:29.940 And it showed me that who am I to come and insert certain things in my head and do tafsir of the Quran and say, hey, this is talking about the ozone layer.
00:02:38.940 I don't have the right to do that and go out there and not only think that, okay, you're thinking that is wrong within itself, but going out there and propagating it is a mistake.

00:02:47.940 The correct way of doing it is understanding that you do not get something that is limited, that is changing, and use that to prove something that's absolute and is unlimited.

00:03:02.940 What we understand from that is that, like I said before, we do not look into the Quran and put our own understanding just because science is popular nowadays,

00:03:15.940 No, we don't do that. We can use science. How? Because Allah says in the Quran, don't you ponder upon the creation.
00:03:21.940 Yes, we can use science to look at the creation and see how it works, how magnificent it is, and understand and acknowledge that Allah is worthy of worship and worship Him.
