In this video, I clarify a point that has been going around the muslim brothers and sisters. I have no idea if it was said to a muslim girl or to a hijabi, but the point I am trying to clarify is that he did not say it in a racist way and it was not to his sister.

00:00:00.000 assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh
00:00:02.640 brothers and sisters and dear friends hope you guys are doing well i'm going to wrap this up real quick
00:00:05.680 i'm not going to hold you guys too much as you guys know four or five days ago i released a video
00:00:09.280 i came across a video where drake in his concert is singing to four girls hey girls you four girls
00:00:15.260 there i see you uh you got this hot scarf on whatever take it off blah blah blah blah so
00:00:21.780 why is it for let me share a reminder i did a bit of research but to me what it seemed like as i'm
00:00:27.300 a human being it seemed like to me that he must have been speaking to a hijabi right because he's 0.57
00:00:32.600 saying scarf i'm thinking why would drake find a person wearing a normal scarf abnormal in a concert
00:00:38.600 why most likely i thought it must be in a scarf headscarf where he thought okay abnormal that's
00:00:44.940 my assumption however besides the point uh when i did the video when i looked into the comment section
00:00:51.160 of the video i saw a lot of brothers and sisters commenting saying that they were there that day
00:00:54.720 so i thought look besides the point i don't have no evidence if he was saying that to a sister or
00:00:58.960 not but besides the point the point was that i wanted to address the sisters and brothers who
00:01:04.540 attended it that was the main point so i did the video and in my video i specifically said it and
00:01:09.680 let's watch it for ourselves in my video so we clarify here is that i never said drake uh went and said
00:01:15.840 in a racist way hey you take your hijab off like you know i don't like your hijab you know liberate 0.98
00:01:20.520 yourself or in a in a in a prejudiced way towards muslims i never mentioned that that was besides
00:01:25.060 the point like i wasn't talking about drake and what he does it was about the muslims who attended
00:01:29.840 that so let's just watch quickly what i meant so we are clarified on that matter oh to me it seems
00:01:36.080 like drake what will catch his attention is okay like what will seem abnormal to him is like why
00:01:41.520 somebody got a scarf on yeah i don't know if he knows okay she's a muslim or not to me it seems like
00:01:46.800 that besides the point when i was going through the comment section i actually saw sisters in hijab 0.98
00:01:52.140 actually saying that they were there that day yeah so that's the reason why i'm doing this video right
00:01:57.640 now guys since you've seen it for yourself i specifically said besides the point right
00:02:02.440 besides the point if he said that to a sister or not that's besides the point my main concern was for
00:02:08.540 the brothers and sisters attending them that was all it so i just wanted to clarify this because drake has
00:02:15.260 uh yes so drake has last night made a post saying that uh he's uh you can see on screen saying that
00:02:23.160 he is uh not racist he did not say in that way and it was not to his sister okay no problem good you
00:02:29.120 clarified your point nobody i never in no shape way uh shape or form said that he said it in that way
00:02:34.580 i like i said to you before it doesn't matter if he was saying to his sister or not i was talking to
00:02:39.420 the sisters and brothers who attended that so the fact that clarified this point okay that's good
00:02:43.380 you know i'm not saying he's an evil individual is this i don't know the guy yeah i don't know him
00:02:47.820 and i'm sure his reply wasn't for me yeah he was talking to those because there's a lot there
00:02:53.400 my besides my video there's other videos out that are claiming uh that are claiming and making it seem
00:02:59.600 like he was racist like he said in a racist way he said it in a like prejudiced way and because of all
00:03:05.620 the things that are going around with donald trump etc it seemed like that but that is not the case
00:03:11.960 so i don't think he was referring to me he was referring to those individuals who are spreading
00:03:15.620 these rumors that he told the muslim girl in a racist man i never said no such thing so the thing
00:03:22.240 is but however my point is to the muslim brothers and sisters because you guys are following him and
00:03:28.180 you need to understand something right what's really funny is that you know i can't blame him and say
00:03:33.440 hey why are you doing music that's his way of life he can do that he has the freedom to do that i can't
00:03:38.100 go and say to me why are you doing this but to the muslim brothers and sisters i can see you guys
00:03:42.540 you guys know that's wrong like why are you doing that do you get what i'm trying to say so another
00:03:46.320 funny thing is uh that since okay by the way since i've clarified this yeah hope you guys have
00:03:51.460 understood another funny thing is that when i was going for the comment section on drake what he did
00:03:55.660 what he posted yesterday clarifying this point um it's funny that he was saying and there was people
00:04:02.120 commenting saying okay drake oh thank you people were saying ah hamdulillah oh praises to allah that
00:04:07.920 you have praised uh you have clarified your uh point across that you didn't mean it like that
00:04:12.660 you know i'm gonna still listen to your music and i was like wow like seriously can you imagine guys
00:04:17.960 yeah you are you didn't stop listening to his music because it's a sin you stopped listening to his
00:04:23.620 music because he felt something personal yeah he personally attacked you yeah so you're not stopped
00:04:29.760 listening to it for the sake of allah because this is sin you shouldn't be in that environment
00:04:34.100 whatever it may be yeah you stop listening to it because you felt offended of something he said
00:04:38.400 and now that he's clarified you're like oh hamdulillah i can listen to you now again come on guys let's be
00:04:44.380 real here yeah you need to understand you're following him yeah he's for example let's say misguided
00:04:49.220 for example yeah he's not either he doesn't know the truth yeah he's you guys are following him yeah
00:04:54.760 and music is the handiwork of shaitan so you guys go into this environment you're following him
00:04:59.320 you're going to end up being misguided from imagine this you're going to end up being misguided
00:05:03.700 due to him doing things out of misguidance imagine he accepts islam and all the things that he's been
00:05:11.720 doing he repents for allah forgives him if he gives him he dies upon that you guys are going to end up
00:05:18.220 being misguided for what he did without intentionally and you guys are going to god knows where you where
00:05:24.880 you can be you might die upon misguidance yeah i'm just saying for example because one thing leads to
00:05:28.940 another in these environments is in our music etc drugs so i'm just trying to tell you guys look
00:05:33.680 yeah stop listening to drake yeah not because he's an evil guy yeah i don't know if he's evil or not
00:05:40.020 but because what he's doing is a sin right that's got nothing to do with him it's like i said to you
00:05:44.820 before we as muslims should understand that it's a sin and let's try to abstain from that so guys hope 1.00
00:05:51.300 i've clarified this and please do send this to drake maybe he'll be watching this you know and like i said
00:05:56.400 before in no way shape or form i said he was being prejudiced towards muslims he was being racist it
00:06:00.980 was besides the point i enough to do with drake my point was just that muslims once again i'll be
00:06:05.460 repeating this yeah please do share this with drake i hope allah subhanahu wa ta'ala got his drake
00:06:09.780 and shows him the true path of islam the wonders of god almighty worshipping him him and him alone and
00:06:18.220 understanding that all praises and glory belong to the creator of the heavens and the earth
00:06:23.140 for everything that he has given us i hope everyone gets guided to islam inshallah so that 0.99
00:06:28.680 was it guys hope i've clarified the matter have a beautiful excuse me have a beautiful day may
00:06:33.360 allah grant every single one of you guys jannah as-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
00:06:36.860 see you then
00:06:37.520 see you then
