00:00:00.000 let's go so her dad was in the edo now he accepts her as a muslim um sadly my father he became very
00:00:09.040 involved with them um and he actually stopped speaking to me so amyra's dad invited her out to
00:00:15.760 eat and took her out for a beautiful turkish lunch check out our sponsors nature's blends

00:00:33.980 assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh brothers and sisters and dear friends hope you guys are well
00:00:38.920 inshallah welcome to um this set now this is a different set you don't see this guy's couch
00:00:42.380 anymore because he's left this couch he's abandoned this couch he's left that jahili life behind so 0.99
00:00:47.920 what we're doing brothers and sisters today is we're reacting we're reacting in public it's nice
00:00:51.020 uh got the sun here inshallah and we've got a beautiful news shall i say from a sister who
00:00:56.820 has spoken to her father who was a member of the edo and a party you're very familiar with i've had
00:01:03.420 interactions with cause relations with oh yeah patients with oh yeah let's watch it inshallah
00:01:07.700 here we go so sister's name is amira or amyra yes amira okay let's go so her dad was in the edo
00:01:15.080 now he accepts her as a muslim amira or amira a revert from england shared the heartwarming story
00:01:22.040 about her reunion with her dad on instagram
00:01:25.240 after not seeing him for five years yeah um the edo is the english defense league um which is a group in
00:01:32.960 the uk who are against um islam and against muslims living here in the uk um sadly my father he became
00:01:40.180 very involved with them um and he actually stopped speaking to me and you know which was devastating
00:01:46.300 for me because we'd always had a very very close relationship so despite her father adopting anti-muslim
00:01:53.120 views amira never gave up on him five years had gone by um i had tried to call him tried to email him
00:02:00.860 tried to um keep in contact with him but it was almost impossible um until 2021 this year um i received a
00:02:08.860 message from my father saying that he wanted to see me and meet with me and that he had changed his
00:02:13.600 uh views um regarding islam and that he no longer is with the edl so amyra's dad invited her out to eat
00:02:20.980 and took her out for a beautiful turkish lunch i'm turdish by the way but i'm in turkey amyra shared a photo
00:02:26.980 of them at the reunion it was very emotional to see my father again um after so long and um he was very
00:02:34.080 happy to see me and he realizes that he um had taken a bad path and that a lot of the views that
00:02:41.600 he had about islam was not true and it was just very nice for me because i know there's a lot of
00:02:46.600 other reverts that sometimes feel like their family will never accept them so what i would say to you
00:02:51.260 is that never lose hope if my father can change his heart then anyone wow mashaAllah what a way to
00:02:59.220 end that's absolutely beautiful you know why because the thing is i can resonate with that and it's
00:03:03.460 close to home with me as well and a lot of revert people that are watching this you know and you think
00:03:07.060 to yourself sometimes how do i deal with it and me personally sometimes i'm sure she can relate with
00:03:11.080 this as well maybe is that i'm basically i might have an interview with her we're trying to arrange
00:03:14.700 inshaAllah but the thing is sometimes you do feel hopeless sometimes you see a grow a glimpse of
00:03:20.300 hope but sometimes that is uh overshadowed by a conflict that happens so these are things where
00:03:26.320 it's ups and downs like even with my own father sometimes i see a glimpse of hope and i'm like yes
00:03:30.100 and then something happens and it's like wow now this he's never gonna he's never going to
00:03:35.140 accept islam or accept me yeah okay but accepting islam never so the thing is i think that's a brilliant 1.00
00:03:40.680 start and it shows us yes his father on his deathbed brought up 20 plus years so what that
00:03:46.280 shows brothers and sisters is firstly if you ever doubt yourself or doubt the efforts that you're
00:03:50.640 doing to give dawah to your family members if you ever feel like you know what my dawah is not working
00:03:54.700 never ever doubt who your lord is oh and this is very important beautiful no it's true because
00:03:59.180 there's a lot of stuff like for example i would talk about my struggles with not waking up for fajr
00:04:02.520 anytime we're limited allah is not limited exactly so i think what this shows is allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
00:04:08.240 breaks down things slowly like i was telling you like recently like my dad you know um even like
00:04:12.800 personal things for example sending my daughter to an islamic school he's not fond of that you get
00:04:17.260 what i'm trying to say because of certain reasons and whatever it may be but the thing is like i was
00:04:21.560 telling you and he was talking about this what a couple of months ago and i was like oh man my dad's
00:04:24.820 really making it hard you know he doesn't want my daughter to go to an islamic school bro two weeks 0.63
00:04:28.380 ago my dad picked her up from the very islamic school you get it and remember how much i was telling
00:04:32.000 you how much that got to me you know at the end of the day but the thing is it's that you see
00:04:36.120 allah changes people's hearts slowly and we see that with like the sahaba yeah i mean the good
00:04:41.520 things come to those who wait yeah they come to to those who wait yeah and this world is a test for us
00:04:48.560 yeah allah doesn't burden a person more than they can bear yeah and look guys just like we wait for
00:04:55.760 the the ripest of fruits it takes time you know dishes when you make them they take time
00:05:01.000 yeah so with these things yeah you you're gonna appreciate it more like she's so happy to meet
00:05:06.940 her father but a lot of people that have their fathers don't appreciate their fathers who knows
00:05:10.900 how much that relationship would flourish now and how amazing it is actually reminds me of
00:05:15.980 um instances like ibrahim alaihissalam and uh his father uh azar yeah but but you see azar
00:05:24.220 idol i idolater and idolatra and you've got ibrahim alaihissalam khalilullah yeah so and the
00:05:32.620 prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam went to that place and they they stoned him and allah sent the
00:05:37.260 angels uh of the mountains that you know they are at your disposal um if you want allah can tell us
00:05:44.760 if you want you know allah's commanded us we will crush these mountains but the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam 0.97
00:05:49.440 said yeah yeah he wants mercy he said and that's why he kept one of his dua that all come all the
00:05:54.200 prophets that used he didn't he saved it for his unma and it just shows you brothers and sisters that
00:05:58.000 you never know as reverse we need to understand that you might be the ambassador for your family
00:06:02.440 to come to islam gradually you might see as impossible but gradually one day you would see 0.98
00:06:07.200 that happening and as an ambassador you need to be a good role model with your akhlaq you adapt the way 0.86
00:06:11.700 you carry yourself because your actions is dawah and one thing that i would say is not to give up
00:06:16.080 ever and to make dua and maybe your dad had to go through that and see that for him to get closer
00:06:23.080 to islam in a way for even accepting you and islam and changing his views and this shows you the
00:06:29.200 importance of dawah god knows whose videos he may have watched that may have inspired him for you
00:06:33.340 you know what hold on a second actually this is all bogus and i think that's it any last words i think
00:06:37.260 what's very important to understand is past the age of 25 yeah yeah you're really set in your ways
00:06:42.360 it's very difficult for a person to change habits yeah and psychologists say there's two
00:06:46.920 main things that will change a person's habits one is trauma and the other is constant affirmations
00:06:52.720 and constantly repetition so that's something to understand that a lot of investment has gone
00:07:00.140 into maligning islam yeah and that's entered the subconscious the unconscious mind of a lot of
00:07:05.960 people and that's going to take time that's going to take time for you to undo exactly and we have
00:07:11.680 to be practical and with our parents they don't like to be lectured so islam is pure as long as you
00:07:17.980 are practicing islam and showing them the beauty of islam eventually just like a rock yeah and a drop 0.98
00:07:24.280 of water drops on it it's not going to break it straight away but eventually if it's consistent
00:07:28.840 and persistent eventually a hole will form and that rock will crack inshaallah and they will accept
00:07:35.600 islam brothers and sisters if you would like to see more videos reaction videos out in the public
00:07:39.660 comment in the section below and inshaallah we make dua that allah subhanahu wa ta'ala reunite
00:07:44.480 this sister with her father in jannah he accepts inshaallah islam and for all of us reverse inshaallah
00:07:49.900 we know how painful it can be to think that they may die on disbelief till next time
00:07:54.320 assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh
