00:00:00.000 As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
00:00:08.380 Alhamdulillahi rabbil alameen
00:00:10.020 Brothers and sisters, as you can see I came through that fire exit door once again
00:00:13.560 But there was no fire today
00:00:14.840 So it's come to my attention that today is GCSE days
00:00:17.680 GCSE results day
00:00:19.360 So now, I thought I'll give you guys a little reminder from the Quran inshaAllah
00:00:22.460 Because a lot of you guys, some of you guys maybe got really good results
00:00:25.960 And alhamdulillah you are happy and some of you guys may be upset
00:00:28.640 But my message is to both of you guys
00:00:30.920 The ones who maybe failed and the ones who passed
00:00:33.600 This is obviously a test a lot of people take seriously
00:00:36.740 It determines, you know, because we are told, you know
00:00:39.760 Going to university or your education or your future
00:00:42.760 So you take it seriously
00:00:44.120 And you should, it's something that you should take seriously
00:00:46.840 But the question that I'm going to ask is
00:00:49.340 Do we take the test of this life seriously?
00:00:52.720 Because these exams and these tests, maybe you can re-sit it
00:00:55.580 Maybe if you've got a fail, you can re-sit it
00:00:57.620 Maybe those who got an A star
00:00:59.120 Or maybe got a B, they can re-sit it to get an A star
00:01:02.880 But the test of this life
00:01:05.480 Okay, would you be able to re-sit it?
00:01:07.720 When you die, can you say to your Lord
00:01:09.420 Oh Allah, send me back 0.70
00:01:10.640 I want to redo it again
00:01:11.780 You know what actually?
00:01:13.420 If I'm not mistaken from a hadith 0.99
00:01:14.900 We are told that there will be those people
00:01:16.720 Or it might be a Quran ayah 0.98
00:01:18.120 That there will be people who would say to Allah 0.99
00:01:19.940 Oh Allah, send us back
00:01:21.540 And give us another chance
00:01:24.080 And Allah will say
00:01:24.880 It's done
00:01:25.960 It's over
00:01:27.300 There's no more re-sit or re-test
00:01:30.160 So brothers and sisters
00:01:31.580 It's really, really important for us to understand
00:01:34.460 It's really, really important for us to understand
00:01:37.460 And Allah SWT tells us in the Quran
00:01:39.880 By default
00:01:52.780 Everybody is in loss
00:01:54.980 Except those who believe
00:01:56.860 Call to truth
00:01:57.980 Except those who believe
00:02:00.420 Who do righteous deeds
00:02:01.440 Call to truth
00:02:02.700 And call to patience
00:02:04.060 So by default
00:02:05.260 Everybody is in loss
00:02:06.080 So when you pass your exam
00:02:07.600 Yes, you pass that exam
00:02:09.220 But you shouldn't think to yourself
00:02:10.900 And those who failed as well
00:02:11.980 For example
00:02:13.200 You're upset
00:02:13.920 You shouldn't think
00:02:15.040 Okay
00:02:15.360 I've passed
00:02:16.840 Alhamdulillah, I'm good
00:02:17.920 Okay, this is a test that you've passed
00:02:21.160 But firstly
00:02:21.920 It does not guarantee anything
00:02:23.300 I'll be honest with you
00:02:24.120 I'm not trying to put you down
00:02:24.900 Alhamdulillah, you've passed your results
00:02:25.940 I'm not trying to be negative here
00:02:27.200 It's an amazing thing
00:02:28.120 You've achieved
00:02:28.560 You worked hard
00:02:29.360 And now
00:02:30.100 You're enjoying it
00:02:31.540 And this is how exactly
00:02:33.040 It should be for you
00:02:34.240 For the hereafter
00:02:35.560 You should think to yourself
00:02:36.540 I'm going to go through these struggles
00:02:38.300 And these tests
00:02:38.920 And eventually
00:02:39.780 I'm going to pass
00:02:40.720 For a better hereafter
00:02:42.520 So the same mentality
00:02:43.860 That you're using
00:02:44.440 We should use 0.99
00:02:44.940 Exactly the same thing
00:02:46.060 For the hereafter
00:02:47.300 Brothers and sisters
00:02:47.900 But
00:02:48.680 Here Allah SWT is saying 0.87
00:02:49.800 By default
00:02:50.360 Everybody is in loss
00:02:51.460 The ones who passed the test
00:02:52.940 The ones who didn't pass the test
00:02:54.300 The ones who are driving supercars
00:02:56.140 No cars
00:02:56.860 Walking
00:02:57.340 Talking
00:02:58.160 Sleeping
00:02:58.940 Whatever
00:02:59.480 Everybody is
00:03:01.280 In loss by time
00:03:02.800 Except
00:03:04.000 There's a condition
00:03:04.760 Except those
00:03:05.740 Who believe
00:03:07.260 Who do righteous deeds
00:03:08.900 Who call one another to truth
00:03:10.540 And who call one another
00:03:12.080 To patience
00:03:13.800 So that is your success
00:03:15.980 Just the way you were told
00:03:17.340 That you have to sit your exam
00:03:18.500 And you need to do this
00:03:19.360 This
00:03:19.600 This and this
00:03:20.180 In order to pass
00:03:21.140 It's the same thing here
00:03:23.580 So that's a reminder
00:03:25.160 Brothers and sisters
00:03:25.600 Number one
00:03:26.100 Number two
00:03:27.240 I want to go to
00:03:28.940 Surah At-Takathur
00:03:31.580 Yeah
00:03:32.000 So Allah SWT says 0.63
00:03:34.460 Al-Hakumu Al-Takathur
00:03:36.700 Hatta Zurtumu Al-Makabir
00:03:39.060 Kalla Saufa Ta'lamun 0.83
00:03:41.380 Thumma Kalla Saufa Ta'lamun
00:03:44.340 Kalla Law Ta'lamun 0.85
00:03:46.640 Ilma Al-Yakīn
00:03:48.100 Lataraunna Al-Jahīn
00:03:50.520 Thumma Lataraunna Al-Ayna Al-Yakīn
00:03:56.560 Thumma Lataraunna Ha 0.62
00:03:57.100 Thumma Lataraunna Ha 0.62
00:04:04.480 Ayn Al-Yakīn
00:04:06.660 Thumma Lataraunna Yawma Ithin
00:04:11.660 Anin Naeem
00:04:12.940 Barakul Afiq Sheikh
00:04:14.120 May Allah Rooj Inshallah 1.00
00:04:14.920 So what is Allah SWT saying?
00:04:18.060 Competition
00:04:18.420 I didn't say
00:04:19.940 That's why you see
00:04:22.160 But anyways
00:04:22.940 We've got our Sheikh 0.99
00:04:23.580 May Allah bless him
00:04:24.340 To correct us
00:04:25.780 So
00:04:25.960 What is Allah SWT saying? 0.65
00:04:27.540 Competition in the worldly life
00:04:29.740 In worldly life
00:04:30.580 Increase and diverts you
00:04:31.800 Until you visit the graves
00:04:33.700 Know
00:04:34.600 You are going to know
00:04:35.920 Then know
00:04:37.100 You are going to know
00:04:38.400 Know
00:04:39.520 If only you knew
00:04:40.640 With certain knowledge
00:04:41.640 SubhanAllah
00:04:42.100 Look how many times Allah says 0.99
00:04:43.220 Know
00:04:44.020 Know
00:04:44.640 Know
00:04:45.180 To emphasise to you
00:04:46.560 You will surely see the hellfire
00:04:49.180 Then you will surely see it
00:04:50.980 With the eye of certainty
00:04:52.080 You know
00:04:53.400 It's like
00:04:54.200 Certain
00:04:54.860 There's no
00:04:55.240 Okay
00:04:55.540 Does it look like this?
00:04:56.720 Then you will surely be asked
00:04:59.040 That day
00:04:59.620 About pleasure
00:05:00.460 So brothers and sisters
00:05:02.160 You can clearly see
00:05:03.620 That Allah SWT is emphasising 0.99
00:05:05.460 Emphasising specifically
00:05:07.640 And this
00:05:08.200 That with the worldly matters
00:05:09.120 Where you know
00:05:09.640 I want to do this
00:05:10.320 What are you doing today?
00:05:11.260 Yeah I'll pass my results
00:05:13.080 Alhamdulillah
00:05:13.460 I'm going to go and do this
00:05:14.400 I'm going to go and do that
00:05:15.260 You're planning
00:05:16.000 You're doing everything
00:05:17.220 Alhamdulillah
00:05:17.760 There's nothing wrong
00:05:18.400 Nobody's saying you can have
00:05:19.300 Halal
00:05:19.640 Alhamdulillah
00:05:20.300 All of us
00:05:20.840 We're not robots
00:05:21.440 We're not talking about this
00:05:22.840 We're talking about those
00:05:23.840 We're talking about those
00:05:23.860 Who only prioritise this life
00:05:25.360 And do not prioritise the hereafter
00:05:27.300 So
00:05:27.920 Just in a nutshell
00:05:29.160 Just to wrap up the video
00:05:30.100 InshaAllah
00:05:30.340 Brothers and sisters
00:05:30.920 For those who have passed
00:05:32.480 May Allah make you guys successful
00:05:34.300 Successful
00:05:35.680 With the results that you had
00:05:36.880 That you can use
00:05:38.180 That qualification
00:05:39.180 For the sake of Allah SWT
00:05:40.660 So whatever you're qualifying
00:05:41.920 And whatever you want to do
00:05:42.960 And those of you who have failed
00:05:44.480 Do not see as the end
00:05:46.700 Okay I'm finished
00:05:47.600 No
00:05:48.180 Wallahi believe me
00:05:49.220 I'll be honest with you
00:05:49.600 I'm just giving you a reminder
00:05:50.160 I've seen people who had A stars
00:05:51.580 At universities they got first
00:05:53.400 Yeah
00:05:54.180 And believe me
00:05:55.120 The guy who failed
00:05:56.320 Did no GCSEs
00:05:57.340 He's in a better position
00:05:58.720 Than they are
00:05:59.960 So do not think
00:06:01.720 That it's all be it
00:06:03.080 That's it
00:06:03.480 No
00:06:03.660 I don't want you guys to feel like that
00:06:05.440 You know
00:06:05.820 Obviously the ones who pass
00:06:06.860 They're happy
00:06:07.400 Alhamdulillah
00:06:07.700 May Allah keep them like that 0.97
00:06:08.700 But also for you guys
00:06:09.720 I don't want you guys to feel
00:06:10.420 Down and your parents
00:06:11.340 You didn't do well
00:06:13.540 No
00:06:13.740 You should be positive
00:06:14.540 You should think
00:06:14.940 You know what
00:06:15.340 Did you try your best
00:06:16.600 Yes
00:06:17.260 You didn't pass
00:06:18.280 You did your best
00:06:19.440 You tied your camel
00:06:20.580 You did your best
00:06:21.260 So do not feel down
00:06:22.360 Do not feel depressed
00:06:23.220 This is not the end of their life
00:06:24.280 Some people
00:06:24.880 SubhanAllah
00:06:25.260 They killed themselves over this
00:06:26.320 Wallahi
00:06:27.000 Imagine you killing yourself over this 0.93
00:06:28.260 May Allah bless you guys 0.93
