00:00:00.000 to speak with confidence like these amazing personalities every single one of these amazing

00:00:05.280 speakers have taken the same program with brother mohammed arshad mohammed arshad has helped develop

00:00:11.680 all of us it's extremely beneficial to do this course definitely recommend this course

00:00:20.800 today at salam corner we've got an amazing guest all the way from america

00:00:24.240 so you was you came i can't think you came to islam you joined nation of islam

00:00:36.160 right yeah which which we deem to be not believers right so but obviously using that fault what made

00:00:41.840 you come to nation islam and then from there to come to actual islam right so so basically i'm from

00:00:47.920 america so i don't know if you see on the news or whatever there's a lot of um you know there's a lot

00:00:53.440 of racism in america and um you know obviously those brothers are still our brothers in humanity

00:00:59.200 yes um you know but it's it was very appealing it's very appealing to us a lot of black americans we

00:01:07.200 deal with racism on a daily basis and you know the idea of it is very appealing to young black men

00:01:13.040 and um so kind of just hearing about the oneness of god that made sense uh hearing about um you know

00:01:20.480 being strong being men leaders in the community that made sense um but then there were some other

00:01:26.240 things that didn't make too much sense to me you know um i believe if there is going to be a god

00:01:30.640 he's going to be the most just he's not going to create people who are less than others just for

00:01:37.520 simply being born yes um so so you know luckily um allah subhanahu wa ta'ala guided me um to some of the

00:01:47.120 work that's done here i speak as corner brothers like yourself and uh other brothers on the da'wah

00:01:51.440 scene um and i started hearing you you brothers you know give da'wah and i don't want you to think

00:01:58.000 what you do here is is minute or it's or it's not being heard because if it wasn't for that situation

00:02:04.800 you know who knows where i'd be and and kind of just listening to yes god is one um but uh the prophet

00:02:12.400 muhammad is his is his final messenger you know no one came after uh and and and and disappeared in 0.59

00:02:20.720 a spaceship and and you know um so just just kind of hearing that kind of gave me perspective and i've

00:02:28.480 also read certain books um it's like before malcolm x for example um the brother he he may all

00:02:35.760 i'll be pleased with him uh he he joined um the nation of islam um amongst that path as well and

00:02:42.160 uh i'm not sure if you're familiar he went to mecca yes and he saw he saw he saw he saw what is the true

00:02:48.080 islam and um you know and and he and when he came back to the usa that's when his following his his his

00:02:56.960 purpose grew even bigger because he was on that straight path so i take that i take that story i take

00:03:02.400 that story uh to heart um and uh yeah so basically yeah you know so so what was what was the stuff

00:03:09.120 nation islam believed you said that for example did they did they say that what do they think about the

00:03:13.040 white people so um yeah i mean it's so they believe that white people were created in a lab um by uh by

00:03:22.560 yakub um okay at least that's what i was taught um and um and i i just couldn't believe that you know um

00:03:31.120 simply for the fact that you know why would allah create humans and just because allah's the most 0.99

00:03:37.440 merciful exactly so why so why would he create human beings who are who are at a uh disadvantage i guess

00:03:45.040 you could say just by being born yeah i suppose it's allah's nature allah's negated injustice to himself

00:03:50.000 right and and and and it's and i just started reflecting i look at all the other creatures that

00:03:54.800 allah has created and they have their purpose exactly they're they're beautiful you know you

00:04:01.040 could see the mercy in allah and allah just by taking a walk just hair hides part yeah you know

00:04:06.960 just you know so i i don't believe that allah will create something to to to just curse it exactly just

00:04:15.120 for existing um okay so where do you go from knowing from nation islam that this is not actually

00:04:21.600 islam what were the things that they believed that he was like hold on a second this doesn't

00:04:24.960 this doesn't add up yeah it was it was definitely um white people being created in a in a lab 0.72

00:04:32.000 peanut butter is haram

00:04:38.560 as soon as allah got me to the straight path i had a nice thick peanut butter jelly sandwich

00:04:43.920 peanut butter smoothie you know um and that's and that's not to disparage

00:04:48.560 anyone else's beliefs right but and a lot of those brothers the crazy part is ali is a lot of those

00:04:54.720 brothers they mean well but they're just you know what in america we go through a lot of pain sometimes

00:05:00.400 some of us and and you know it's easy to to to get us to to that point you know what i mean

00:05:06.960 so um but yeah so i think it's very important and also they believe in prophets after right right

00:05:11.760 yes they would uh which is like a father muhammad who yeah who they believe um they actually pray

00:05:17.520 facing chicago no way yeah they pray facing chicago no are you kidding me right right um

00:05:23.040 yeah yeah yeah it's the start of allah so but but but you know may a lot guide them guide those brothers

00:05:30.240 and sisters do they see him as some kind of a devotee but why they're facing chicago is his grave there or

00:05:34.240 something it's uh his uh i'm not sure if it's if if it's because his grave is there um i just i just

00:05:40.400 i think that uh fad muhammad who claims to be a prophet and god himself i believe and no way yeah 0.97

00:05:47.200 god himself and that and that uh he let he actually left earth he didn't die he left earth in a in a

00:05:52.720 spaceship well he definitely left the earth but that's that's that's well that's crazy that's crazy but may

00:05:58.000 allah bless you guide you and you and your wife yeah me and my wife took shahadah together and he did

00:06:03.680 your nikah did he did in the car same day we call it a double whammy that's that's that's the that's 0.97
