In this episode, we discuss the difference between the creation of man and the plants. God created man before the plants, but then the plants sprouted, and then man was created after the plants? Or is there a contradiction between the two?

00:00:00.000 Genesis 1 says man was created first.
00:00:05.600 You're, you're, you're, you're, you're misinterpreting.
00:00:09.800 Ah, here we are.
00:00:11.880 In the third day of creation, in chapter 1.
00:00:14.800 Chapter 2, it says the opposite.
00:00:18.840 So for example, the question that needs to be asked is,
00:00:21.140 were the plants created first and then the mankind,
00:00:24.080 or was mankind created first and then plants?
00:00:30.000 Check out our sponsors, Nature's Blends.

00:00:46.600 So for example, you know, in Genesis 1 verse 12,
00:00:50.240 it says that man was created after the plants.
00:00:53.220 And in Genesis chapter 2 verse 59, it says man was created before the plants.
00:00:57.700 So that's a clear contradiction.
00:01:00.760 Like, was it, was, okay, go to the book of Genesis.
00:01:03.760 Genesis 1, 12.
00:01:05.320 1, 12.
00:01:06.260 Right, so there you have the plants and then man.
00:01:08.520 Man.
00:01:08.920 And then if you go to the book of Genesis 2 verse 59,
00:01:12.360 man was created before the plants.
00:01:15.920 No, that's, that's not what it says.
00:01:17.640 It says that the, the, the herbs of the field did not yet grow.
00:01:20.460 I.e., on the, on the, on the third, on the third day of creation,
00:01:24.420 when the plants were created, the seeds are put down, but they hadn't grown yet.
00:01:30.680 Okay, one second.
00:01:31.420 So, in 1st Genesis it says that God created man before the plants.
00:01:36.660 It doesn't say those words.
00:01:38.240 Okay, what does it say?
00:01:38.860 It says, so, in, in chapter 2 verse 5, it says,
00:01:45.040 And no plant of the field,
00:01:48.340 was yet in the earth.
00:01:53.460 And no herb of the field had yet grown.
00:01:55.520 For the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth.
00:02:03.680 And there was not a man to till the ground.
00:02:06.140 Okay, so there was no man.
00:02:07.480 Man.
00:02:07.920 There was no man to till the ground.
00:02:09.840 So, before man, before man was created, the plants could not grow.
00:02:14.980 Because the, because there was nobody to, to tend the land.
00:02:20.140 Okay, so.
00:02:21.040 God first put the plant seeds in.
00:02:23.080 The seeds in.
00:02:23.820 Yes.
00:02:24.060 And once man was created, then, then, then God put this, then, then God caused it to rain.
00:02:33.300 And man tilled the ground.
00:02:34.980 And then the, her, and the seeds.
00:02:36.580 Can you go to Genesis chapter 2 verse 5 to 9?
00:02:39.940 Yes.
00:02:40.780 Can you read that?
00:02:41.860 So, I just read verse 5 for you.
00:02:44.160 I'll read verse 6 now.
00:02:45.580 No, no, no.
00:02:45.980 That was Genesis 1.
00:02:47.660 Wasn't that Genesis?
00:02:48.180 You told me to do, you told me to do 2.5.
00:02:51.660 Okay, no, no, no.
00:02:52.600 Okay, sorry, go to Genesis 1.12, then, sorry.
00:02:54.780 1.12, okay.
00:02:56.960 And the earth brought forth grass, herb yielding seed after its kind, and tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself after its kind.
00:03:13.360 And God saw that it was good, and there was evening, and there was morning, and the third day.
00:03:18.780 And God said, let there be light in the foreman of heavens, to divide the day from the night.
00:03:47.300 And let there be four signs, and four seasons, and four days, and four years.
00:03:51.820 Let them be for lights in the firmament of heaven, to give light upon the earth.
00:03:55.320 And it was so.
00:03:55.980 And God made two great lights, the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night.
00:04:00.460 And the stars also.
00:04:01.360 And God set them in the firmament of heaven, to give light upon the earth.
00:04:04.200 And God saw that it was good, and God said, let us make mankind in our own image.
00:04:09.280 So, in the 26th verse, after he's talking about the creation of the plants, then it's saying it created mankind.
00:04:17.520 Yes.
00:04:17.820 In Genesis chapter, where is it, Genesis chapter 2, it says the opposite.
00:04:25.360 So, for example, the question that needs to be asked is, were the plants created first and then mankind, or was mankind created first and then plants?
00:04:34.180 What it says in chapter 1 is that God created this vegetation.
00:04:55.080 It doesn't say that it sprouted.
00:04:57.100 It doesn't say that it had grown.
00:04:58.460 Whereas in chapter 2, now it says it's growing and sprouting.
00:05:03.560 That's, it only grows and sprouts after man tills the land.
00:05:07.760 Before that, it does not.
00:05:09.520 That's fine.
00:05:10.240 That's fine.
00:05:10.560 Look, I agree with you.
00:05:11.300 I agree with you that you need mankind to carry that out.
00:05:15.280 But here it's talking about creation.
00:05:17.140 It's not talking about if man was there to give rise to it.
00:05:20.920 It's saying that God created the plants first.
00:05:23.800 And then, in another part, it contradicts itself.
00:05:26.100 It's like, if Allah says in the Quran, this is why Allah says, if this book was not from other than your Lord, you would find contradictions and errors in it.
00:05:32.820 And it's an open challenge to the people of the book that bring a chapter like it or find contradictions and errors in it.
00:05:38.420 So, God Almighty, if Allah said, we created the elephant first.
00:05:43.760 There's no verse, what I'm saying.
00:05:44.840 We created the elephant first.
00:05:46.000 And then we created the man, mankind.
00:05:48.660 And in another verse, it says, we created mankind first and then we created the elephant.
00:05:52.140 That's a contradiction.
00:05:52.720 So, how do you reconcile with that very contradiction?
00:05:57.240 Because it says it created the plants first.
00:05:59.940 Then it says, mankind.
00:06:01.800 And then in Genesis chapter 2, it says, no, it was mankind we created first and then it was a plant.
00:06:08.120 Ah, here we are.
00:06:09.240 So, in the third day of creation, in chapter 1, it talks about herb yielding, it says, it brought forth grass, herb yielding seed after its kind, and tree yielding fruit.
00:06:24.940 But in chapter 2, it talks about, it talks about herb of the field.
00:06:31.980 It talks about, it talks about plant of the field and herb of the field.
00:06:36.240 Those are not necessarily the same thing.
00:06:40.900 Grass, herb yielding seed and tree yielding seed.
00:06:43.980 And it says, it says, whose seed was in itself.
00:06:48.600 So, the seed was inside the thing.
00:06:51.620 And only afterwards did they come out.
00:06:55.960 Still, the problem is, was mankind created before the plant or were the plants created before the man?
00:07:01.480 Plants were created first.
00:07:03.740 Then man was created.
00:07:05.940 Then God brought rain.
00:07:09.880 Then man tilled the earth.
00:07:11.620 And then the plants grew.
00:07:13.760 But Genesis 1 says, sprouted.
00:07:15.360 Genesis 1 says, man was created first.
00:07:20.460 Yeah, no, it doesn't say man was created before the plants were created.
00:07:24.980 It says, it says that man was, man was created before the plants had sprouted.
00:07:32.160 Sprouting and creating are not the same thing.
00:07:34.000 What I want to know is, even before it sprout, I'm talking about, I'm not talking about plants coming up, yeah?
00:07:39.560 Okay, I'm talking about, which one did God create first?
00:07:42.800 Man or the plants?
00:07:44.040 Or the seeds?
00:07:44.640 What do you want to call it?
00:07:45.020 The seed or the man?
00:07:46.340 Mankind? 0.52
00:07:46.940 Which one was first?
00:07:48.120 Because one says mankind, one says the plants.
00:07:51.540 One says plants, one says mankind.
00:07:52.720 You're misinterpreting.
00:07:56.900 In, hold on a second.
00:07:59.800 It's my father.
00:08:01.120 You have to answer.
00:08:02.420 Father's very important.
