Ali Dawah - MUSLIMS REACTING TO ISIS ATTACKER - STREATHAM ATTACK

00:00:00.000 it means they had two people on him as he's stepping out the house like i don't understand

00:00:05.000 like i believe if that person is why is he let out i do not understand why is he let out if you

00:00:12.980 know the guy is dangerous you know he's going to cause this and you've got two guys on in fact in

00:00:17.160 order for me to not prove them wrong and stand up i have to go and be like yes let's go and kill 0.99

00:00:22.800 them you're perverted because my teacher is allah and his messenger your teacher is bush and george 0.98

00:00:29.760 bush and tony blair because you're seeing they're doing it to us we'll do the same

00:00:33.020 as we know there was an attack terror attack that happened in streatham um yesterday

00:01:02.160 and what we want to do is like we want to go into this person's mind yeah because there's

00:01:08.920 copycat attacks happening yeah and they're all carrying these fake i think even before that

00:01:12.160 we should give our condolences to yes of course 100 family of those affected yes and and and to

00:01:18.180 to be honest the community as a whole yes yes definitely you know and uh for some reason he

00:01:22.380 picked uh an uh a area which there is a lot of muslims in there as well uh so i wouldn't be

00:01:28.160 surprised of some casualties of muslims it's regardless but i'm saying you know because 1.00

00:01:32.220 these people they're they're on such a level of uh fanatism that i don't think they see

00:01:37.660 muslims to them all of us we are all in the same camp we we are i mean a lot of the time in my course

00:01:43.440 online islam plus yeah it's called extremism islam it's about to be released soon can you tell us a

00:01:47.480 little bit about that so extremism islam is a textual approach i go through um the ideological

00:01:52.400 underpinnings of theological justifications that's why many of these people do what they do

00:01:56.740 um the course is run to two parts the first part uh deals with things like for example um um do all 0.98

00:02:02.300 muslims uh all muslims commanded to fight and kill the non-believers the non-muslims that's a common 1.00

00:02:07.320 thing this is probably what he believed as well allah knows best yeah many of them do especially 0.99

00:02:10.740 isis and al-qaeda and the like uh and i deal with other uh texts and things that are used by these

00:02:15.880 people to promote and to justify their belief their discourse such as the verse of the sword or the

00:02:20.820 verses of the sword uh also the hadith for nabi sallallahu alayhi wa sallam where he says

00:02:24.140 i've been ordered to command that to fight the people until they believe that there's no way

00:02:28.760 except allah so on and so forth and a lot of these kind of things the second part of the course

00:02:32.940 it really concerns muslims um themselves uh so it's an inter-muslim kind of discussion and really

00:02:40.360 the whole discussion is centered on takfir and the concept of takfir or excommunication and taking

00:02:45.620 one and rendering someone outside the fold of islam because it's used by a lot of the extremist

00:02:49.620 groups as a tool of justification to justify spilling the blood of a muslim let alone a muslim 1.00

00:02:54.720 we deal with that the previous course uh the previous part of the course and so inshallah

00:02:58.080 will be coming out soon hopefully next week or even before so that's an online platform salam plus

00:03:01.380 which you can come and sign up for free salam plus.org.uk and learn inshallah inshallah if you

00:03:05.380 guys there's anyone watching this and sadly has been brainwashed by thinking that carrying out these

00:03:10.500 attacks on innocent civilians is going to somehow help islam you're doing an absolute disservice to us 1.00

00:03:15.600 you're uh misrepresenting our religion you are actually maybe a part reason why our religion

00:03:20.480 is being attacked so absolutely you know please if you can watch this inshallah and maybe hopefully

00:03:24.980 come to your senses and um not taking innocent lives so let's just quickly react to um this video from

00:03:31.540 my tv news

00:03:32.200 two men in plain clothes pointing guns one swaps his beanie hat for a police cap

00:03:42.020 it's now clear they're undercover officers

00:03:46.420 and lying before them on a high street in south london is the suspect

00:03:53.780 gone down twice

00:03:55.300 strapped to his body what looks like a device it's a hoax

00:04:04.580 the police clear the streets

00:04:10.340 then more arrive they're there within minutes because the suspect they've just killed

00:04:16.820 had been under their watch and this is the end of a police surveillance operation

00:04:21.140 several people had been stabbed by the suspect some were treated by passers-by who saw the horror

00:04:30.420 on a sunday afternoon another person got stabbed down here as well uh massive bright orange trauma

00:04:37.780 helicopter land on the common right in front of us and then there were uh police and ambulances uh

00:04:43.300 driving about and we had assumed that there had been a car accident and that that's what all the

00:04:48.180 things all the people there for and then we walked up this road just here and came to sort of about there

00:04:52.980 and uh there were armed police everywhere there were people everywhere um the armed police looked

00:04:59.060 like they were crouching down over someone i don't know if that's what they were doing

00:05:02.260 um and then they started shouting at us all to get back um and just pushing us further down the road

00:05:08.580 itv news understands the suspect was 21 year old sudesh a man who was released from prison one week ago

00:05:15.940 he was jailed in 2018 after admitting 13 terror offenses and expressing a desire to carry out his own

00:05:24.260 terror attack so so why okay this is the question that first needs to be asked before we go into his

00:05:28.820 or go into this guy's mind um so like how would they how were they letting out this guy when he's

00:05:36.420 clearly been he's been has said that he'd want to carry that carry out this attack i think is you don't know

00:05:41.700 if he if he said this whilst in prison whilst in his sentence okay and a lot of the times i mean

00:05:46.660 when i was in prison i saw all sorts of offenders okay one thing you're in prison people are going

00:05:50.660 to think okay what are you talking about i was in prison for those who don't know my past go on to um

00:05:54.260 watch my podcast with delhi hussein on the blood brothers podcast uh also we did one at salam

00:05:58.500 so it's called i used to be radical so i i was convicted previously back in 2000 it was about 12 years

00:06:02.660 ago 2008 for terror offense uh i was initially planning to go to afghanistan and i discuss it in those

00:06:08.340 podcasts the reasons why my psychology at the time so but maybe people don't want to go to that

00:06:11.540 podcast let's just just just a brief like let's ask yourself like what what led you to take that

00:06:18.660 path because you're not coming from this because this guy wants anyone's blood absolutely you was

00:06:23.220 more of um yeah like invading forces absolutely invading forces oppression on the muslims like i felt

00:06:29.700 that the muslims were being victimized or being attacked and no one was there to defend them no one was

00:06:34.020 there to to protect them protect their honor so on and so forth yeah um and i found identical

00:06:38.820 justification to allow myself to travel and to promote myself to travel and to to try and um

00:06:43.860 and take and join the armed forces there and so on and so forth that was it in a nutshell but what

00:06:48.500 happened i mean you didn't make it obviously you got arrested of course yeah so i mean well not well

00:06:53.300 yeah when i was in circuit then i came back and i got arrested the rest is history right um now with me i i

00:06:59.300 saw i saw i saw the oppression that was taking place and i felt that there was no one there to

00:07:04.100 support those protect the muslims protect the rise of the muslims and i found that i became slowly 0.99

00:07:08.340 alienated from society from the mainstream muslims i felt that that no one was talking i felt our 0.91

00:07:12.180 scholars weren't talking about it and everyone was quiet and and i found i'm obviously i kind of

00:07:16.580 mentioned there but i'm a person who when i see injustices i can't i can't yeah i can't i can't deal

00:07:20.580 with it right a lot of people a lot of people like this and i think it's a good character uh how it has to be

00:07:25.220 challenged in the right way um and so i i secluded myself online i found a safe space i found people

00:07:30.420 that i could communicate with online and we know that and there's a lot of research to suggest

00:07:34.420 although there's nothing conclusive but online if it doesn't promote extremism or promote the

00:07:39.700 radicalization of people it definitely fosters it so it creates a safe environment yes and this is

00:07:43.940 research that was just coming out but i experienced it myself all right so i can i can i can testify to

00:07:48.260 that um and i and i found that i slowly started to speak to like my people people treaties books were

00:07:53.300 exchanged and people espousing these kind of views were exchanged so on and so forth i still at that

00:07:57.940 time i wouldn't say that i became a what's known now as it is i wouldn't make it clear on everyone

00:08:02.740 and all the muslims communication i wouldn't say that muslims are non-muslim and even justifying

00:08:08.580 their bloodline exactly so i never kind of fell into that nor did i fall into the extremes of what

00:08:12.340 this person was either does that make sense it was literally a case for me that i believed it was

00:08:16.180 justified to go out there and to join the forces to fight against the rebelling army and that was it

00:08:19.700 and i think it's a blessing from allah i didn't get that far uh because to be honest with you if i

00:08:23.140 did get that far then you know allah knows best right um we see the results of this kind of dangerous

00:08:29.220 ideology yeah and so that's my show from i'm not sure i don't want to take away from the viewers let

00:08:32.740 them go watch the we'll put the links to the to the podcast insha'Allah all right
