Ali Dawah - REACTING TO MO SALAH & MODEL

00:00:00.000 assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh brothers and sisters and dear friends

00:00:03.040 before i start i want to praise allah subhanahu wa ta'ala the most merciful the most just or

00:00:05.840 praise his glory and gratitude belong to him now you guys are thinking brother ali this doesn't

00:00:10.000 sound right you know this this doesn't look right either you know we should be seeing brother zeeshan

00:00:13.600 you know what are you doing here well we've kind of hijacked the studio so i've come to see him

00:00:17.760 alhamdulillah he's made me a brilliant uh very natural lemonade uh sprite um in other words

00:00:24.080 alhamdulillah so we've been uh doing uh chilling together but i wanted to do this video so i thought

00:00:29.040 you know what brother zeeshan can help me so guys as you know uh brother mo salah may allah bless him

00:00:34.160 guide him and guide us all released a video uh and some pictures of him in a shoot a model should not

00:00:41.440 literally shoot um and i'm sure while zeeshan's editing this will probably put some effects there

00:00:45.920 anyway that's out of my control uh so basically a a a model shoot yeah okay so now i had a bit of a

00:00:54.240 problem with this and i'm sure everyone had a bit of a problem with this yeah unless you're a hardcore

00:00:57.920 fan which your eyes are just blind and you just don't want to see any of that uh brothers and

00:01:01.840 sisters in islam we are told that we should speak the truth even if it's against ourselves or our kin

00:01:09.520 our family members whoever it may be so we should speak out this does not mean we go on a rampage and

00:01:16.080 be like yes uh haram you're finished you innovator you kafir you sinner you evildoer etc etc no because 0.76

00:01:24.000 we value and we look at the person's good deeds um in um comparison to his bad deeds and nobody none

00:01:32.000 of us are perfect but this does not mean that if somebody who's a public figure comes out and does

00:01:37.040 something that i believe it's quite it's quite major i think it's quite wrong uh in all kinds of aspects

00:01:42.560 and this can open the doors to a lot of things so as you can see on the screen there's a picture of

00:01:46.080 a woman hugging him now this picture i'm not saying he intentionally uh what i'm about to say that

00:01:52.720 that's the intention behind it but this picture here justifies an un-islamic tradition you know a a a

00:02:01.040 not even cultural i could say it might be a bit cultural actually that a man can do what he likes

00:02:06.480 but when it's a female it's a big deal yeah and this is un-islamic and this has come into our houses 1.00

00:02:13.600 where certain people practice this in their very household when their husband i mean when their son

00:02:19.360 goes out and has girlfriends sleeps around there's all kinds of stuff they turn a blind eye he's a man

00:02:24.720 you know it's normal it's a man but when it's their daughter when it's a girl no i would have been

00:02:30.560 like no way it's the honor honor honor what are you talking about we have to be consistent so over

00:02:37.680 here we have brother moussala yeah now we know he's done good we have to speak about his good yes

00:02:42.560 he does with hamdulillah every time he scores a goal he goes in sajda sajda shukur yeah we we judge

00:02:47.600 from what's apparent we intend that he does it for the right reasons and hamdulillah he's had a massive

00:02:51.360 impact on the dawah and it shows us that something that i always say and talk about is that dawah is

00:02:56.640 not just the words that we utter the best form of dawah is your actions and the way you carry

00:03:00.640 yourself your adab your character that's why the prophet peace be upon him said i did not come for

00:03:04.400 nothing but to perfect good character and if i'm not mistaken one of the scholars said that if somebody

00:03:09.280 has surpassed you in good adab good manners they have passed you in your religion and we know in many

00:03:14.400 many narrations about for example the prophet said two things that will be heavy on the day of

00:03:18.480 judgment is one's tawhid and one's good akhlaq and adab and this is something that he himself

00:03:23.840 hasn't he seems like a nice uh brother soft-hearted he does brilliant work and he's done

00:03:29.280 amazing charity work if i'm not mistaken we are not doubting that but one thing that we need to

00:03:33.440 talk about make very clear is the following if i showed you guys a picture of a hijabi sister

00:03:38.160 and a man having his hands around her just imagine the thought you guys will lose it you'll be

00:03:44.800 absolutely how could this happen she has no higher she's there she's you call her all kind of names yeah

00:03:50.480 i would be like you will slander her call her all kinds of names and say she is wrong she is like 1.00

00:03:55.680 this well why is it that when mo salah does it it's it's it's just silence like you know just ah

00:04:01.840 ignore it i was even shocked that certain people that have a certain following are telling me that oh

00:04:07.440 brother um you should not judge what do you mean not judge am i i don't know do i follow tupac don't

00:04:13.200 judge me only god can judge me still i see no changes i see racist faces no i'm being honest yeah what what what

00:04:19.840 what is it what is it that i i don't follow tupac i'm sorry yeah okay i don't have a six pack and

00:04:25.600 neither do i do i follow tupac maybe there's a little rhyme here anyways just a little humor

00:04:30.320 jokes aside brothers and sisters is that this attitude of don't judge don't judge don't what

00:04:35.360 do you mean don't judge if you see a a man and a woman a brother and sister fornicating in daily

00:04:40.960 are you gonna say ah don't judge them don't judge them assume the best uh look how beautifully they're

00:04:45.520 making love is that what you're going to say no omar and said when revelation used to come down we used

00:04:51.120 to uh judge by what it said yeah what was revealed the revelation has stopped now we judge from what's

00:04:57.040 apparent we look and we judge from what's apparent now there's two types of judging one is right one

00:05:01.360 is wrong the first one is you see somebody singing in public yeah now if this person is not a public

00:05:07.040 figure it's okay you see them you can advise and say brother you know don't do this sometimes look

00:05:10.880 back in days i used to go and advise them and say look give them nasiyah yeah that's normal that's 0.99

00:05:15.760 a good way because you've judged the situation yes you have judged and you've gone there and given

00:05:20.240 nasiyah that's a good way if it's a public figure if a person sins in public then he needs to understand

00:05:28.080 that a public figure doing a sin in public has to be advised and giving nasiyah in public otherwise

00:05:33.760 people are going to think this is okay and the norm and it's not and allah says in the quran let there

00:05:38.800 rise a group of people who will enjoy good and for medieval and we have to do that whoever it is

00:05:44.240 we don't care how famous they are or they're not so that's a correct way of doing however the wrong

00:05:49.280 way of doing is if you see a sister who doesn't wear the hijab or a brother who's got a beard and

00:05:52.960 he's smoking or doing whatever and then you start saying ah this person probably doesn't pray look at

00:05:56.400 this monafi look at this cafe look at this mob daddy look at this that's a wrong way of judging

00:06:00.880 because you do not know what's within one's heart and yes it's a sin to not wear the hijab and smoking

00:06:07.360 etc but everyone has their deeper issues and they're not going out there promoting it you

00:06:11.680 get what i'm trying to say and that's a wrong way of judging so i thought i'd just make that

00:06:15.440 distinction i don't want to carry on further but i want to make something very clear for our brother

00:06:20.800 mo salah you never know he might be watching this or not watching this yeah that it's really important

00:06:24.800 to have good friendship because we were speaking with brother zeeshan and he said it's very important

00:06:28.640 to have good companionship you know because if you have bad companionship then you're going to be

00:06:34.320 affected by that yeah like the prophet gave the example of the blacksmith and the one who sells

00:06:39.280 utter yeah if you chill with a blacksmith even if you do nothing and you're just around him you're 0.89

00:06:43.760 going to get affected by the smoke if you chill with somebody who sells utter yeah like my boy black 1.00

00:06:48.320 oud london yes may allah bless him you're gonna the less even if he's doing nothing you're gonna leave

00:06:53.760 smelling good yeah so one thing that we need to understand is to our dear brother mo salah is that

00:06:58.960 your surroundings you have to be careful because you're either giving that what are you receiving

00:07:02.480 dawah and everyone's giving dawah yeah everyone is giving dawah the non-muslims and the muslims yeah 0.97

00:07:07.440 so you either are receiving dawah or you are giving dawah and we ask allah to protect you and also

00:07:13.840 sorry uh bear in mind that you are a married man brother may allah bless you inshallah and i'm sure

00:07:19.920 it'll be very hurtful for your wife and i think as a muslim woman who observes the hijab and she's going 1.00

00:07:25.360 to feel insecure i'm being honest and this is one of the reasons why a lot of our sisters go down this route 0.98

00:07:30.560 of wearing tighter clothes with hijab or taking the hijab off or dressing up a certain way why

00:07:35.440 and it's no excuse but because us men yes us men we look for those kind of girls or like like that's 0.98

00:07:43.040 what we want and then our sisters feel like you know what me wearing the hijab with a bike first it 0.99

00:07:47.840 should be for the sake of allah but they feel fall short and then it opens a can of worms your wife could 1.00

00:07:52.560 feel like you know what i need to look a certain way or like this or you know my husband probably likes

00:07:57.040 this you're gonna put doubts in it firstly she's gonna be hurt yeah number one if she saw that she's

00:08:01.520 gonna be hurt if it was any man or a woman seeing their partner another man touching or another woman

00:08:07.200 touching they're gonna feel hurt number one number two they're gonna feel insecure and number three

00:08:12.320 that's gonna cause doubts and shaitan coming and whispering oh you see your husband or you know your

00:08:17.760 husband likes that kind of girl and you need to look like how would it be like you never know it might 0.98

00:08:21.680 even cause her to feel like you know what i need to dress a certain way to because my husband likes that

00:08:27.040 and that's not going to change anything you know because if a man is going to go and do the wrong

00:08:30.880 thing it's not there was one sister who said i took my hijab off because my husband will look at other

00:08:34.560 women and i said sister you you took a hijab okay has he stopped looking no when you when you're in

00:08:41.120 the house you have no hijab on yeah what's the point taking a hijab off in in public in in the house 0.99

00:08:46.640 you can see with no hijab yeah so brothers sisters let's understand that we do this for the sake of allah

00:08:51.520 subhanahu wa ta'ala and may allah bless you guys i thought i had to bring this to light because

00:08:55.440 we can't be hypocrites we always advise our sisters when it comes to certain things i can't come and

00:08:59.440 look at this and turn it blind they'll be an absolute hypocrite that's the reason why i bought i

00:09:03.520 shed some light onto it inshallah and just wanted to give this and see it to you guys inshallah uh that

00:09:09.280 let's be consistent and talk the truth even if it's against ourselves and that was a little reminder for

00:09:16.160 myself to you guys brothers and sisters and may allah guide us all inshallah and protect us from

00:09:19.840 hypocrisy and protect us from having bad friends that might that might influence us in the wrong way

00:09:26.240 inshallah till next time as-salamu alaykum
