00:00:09.500 hate your hands or do you love your hands somewhere in between okay so how
00:00:15.720 could you find use and love yourself but not love the one who created you
00:00:24.860 not only does it encourage you to read it tells you how many verses you've read
00:00:28.640 how many pages you read how long you've been on it and best of all the hasana
00:00:32.000 counter download the qurani app now and have a ramadan with allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
00:00:36.100 book like you've never had before asalaamu alaikum guys we have here
00:00:40.520 somebody who has taken covet to the next level he might be working for the
00:00:45.140 government are you working for the government i can't say he can't say it's
00:00:49.020 on the cover bond james bond or you know luke bond james
00:00:53.480 how you doing luke i'm doing okay yeah yeah okay i will need you speak a little
00:00:58.300 bit louder so they can hear you no no no keep it on keep it on it looks cool it's
00:01:01.860 cool we really like it so now he was walking down the road and i saw you and i
00:01:06.140 thought what's going on here is there a attack a nuclear attack that's going to
00:01:10.600 happen you're getting ready for what is this
00:01:11.840 uh it's just for a joke it's just for a joke yeah okay so who's the joke on is
00:01:17.500 there someone you're targeting no it's just um it's just probably to give people
00:01:21.660 a good laugh you know oh okay interesting so just people that you have you you caught
00:01:25.380 my eye if you remember yeah okay now luke you said that you read the quran
00:01:29.180 no i never read it i just heard about it oh you heard about it yeah okay today i'm
00:01:33.380 gonna gift you one after we're gonna talk yeah okay um now do you believe in a higher
00:01:39.760 being a creator uh no not really okay is there any specific reason why which you
00:01:45.900 have come to the conclusion that there is not a higher being
00:01:49.260 no no really i just um i just don't really like getting involved like religions and stuff
00:01:55.120 okay it's not like a race thing or anything like that i just don't really just find religion
00:01:59.000 interesting okay don't manage okay let's put religion to a side yeah let's talk about
00:02:03.840 as two logical human beings yeah when we look around us or when you go about your day-to-day
00:02:10.840 life you use your logic right yeah okay so when you woke up today you woke up believing that
00:02:17.140 you was in your bedroom and you maybe went downstairs or you know you know where your fridge is you
00:02:22.300 know that to make breakfast you know what you bought what you've got there and what you're
00:02:27.060 going to use you know i'm going to use a a fork or a knife or i'm going to do peanut butter jam
00:02:31.900 have you had peanut butter jam before um once yeah you need to try it i never had it before
00:02:36.260 but when i tried it i was like wow i tried really i like i really liked it yeah so now you use your
00:02:41.960 logic on day-to-day basis even when you came out today you logically said to yourself i want to have
00:02:46.460 a laugh i want to make people smile i want to do a little joke you gave yourself a purpose for that
00:02:51.680 day to come out and do this and use your logic do you not ever wonder luke where did i come from
00:02:57.740 yeah why am i here i do wonder sometimes you do wonder yeah yeah okay do you not think to
00:03:04.100 yourself logically doesn't it follow that there must have been a cause to you which is okay your
00:03:10.300 mom and dad but what is the cause to the whole universe to us human beings human beings is large
00:03:16.120 on this planet why are we here why do like once someone said i think he's a philosopher he said
00:03:22.080 why is there something rather than nothing you're conscious i'm conscious so do you not ever wonder
00:03:28.360 there must be a higher power what's stopping you from believing in that nothing really i just don't
00:03:33.920 i don't know i just i just don't really um like religion all that much you don't really i don't
00:03:39.340 really like getting involved with religion okay my family my family's a catholic but i'm i'm not
00:03:45.200 okay but luke would you not say that there is many many reasons to believe in a higher intelligence
00:03:50.320 yes i do believe there is yeah okay well one second then okay what's stopping you look let's put
00:03:55.320 religion to a side i know look before i came to islam i thought religion is man-made it's there to 0.61
00:03:59.680 control the masses everybody's saying i'm right but i had to come to a realization that realization
00:04:04.360 was the following i believed in a higher being but i said how could this higher being exist but not
00:04:09.040 give me purpose so you said you know there are reasons to believe in a higher being yeah why do you
00:04:13.880 not believe i just choose not to okay that's very interesting man so you do believe there are
00:04:20.040 signs and evidence to a higher intelligence but you refuse to worship him or you do you refuse to
00:04:25.700 worship him or do you refuse to acknowledge that he exists i just refuse to worship them okay why
00:04:32.040 it's very interesting why why do you like do you believe he's not worthy or or can it be luke that
00:04:37.120 you have a perception of god in your mind or something that you've been through that has made you feel
00:04:42.180 like he's not worthy of worship maybe no what's what's what's what's what's what's stopping you
00:04:49.920 from not wanting to worship him
00:04:51.300 can i take this off yeah yeah take off take off yeah yeah sorry now that's uh really nothing honestly
00:05:02.400 um i just i just choose not to believe in them okay check this out yeah
00:05:06.880 can i see your hands yeah okay look at my hands yeah we have nails yeah do you do you hate your hands
00:05:13.960 or do you love your hands somewhere in between okay so your eyes that you see with the tongue that
00:05:21.760 you taste with yeah your faculties as a human being would you say that you are happy like happy in the
00:05:28.040 context where you know they they they bring you some kind of joy when eating food you know yes okay
00:05:35.160 so how could you find use and love yourself but not love the one who created you it doesn't make
00:05:45.440 sense in the context where how could you say wow my hands they helped me to grab things yeah
00:05:50.400 how could you find useful in something like you're being your hand how could you love your hands but not
00:05:57.260 love the one who created them it wouldn't add up do you know what i'm trying to say yeah so if you
00:06:02.940 think about it if you acknowledge that god almighty is the one that's given all this to you all these
00:06:07.420 faculties he's the one who sustains you he's the one who provides food for you and water and all these
00:06:12.380 kind of things yeah does that not make you feel like he is worthy of worship yeah when you put it like
00:06:18.420 that yes okay good so now what that means luke is that and anyone's watching this what that means is
00:06:24.780 because we do not ponder deep enough and think about it and sometimes what happens we may have
00:06:30.460 gone through some trauma in our life and we ascribe that to god and that's why we say i don't want to
00:06:35.500 worship that god because he's made me suffer argument's sake but reflecting and pondering upon it
00:06:40.140 allah says in the quran i'll recite to you allah says in the creation of the heavens and the earth
00:06:55.580 and in the alternation of the night and day there are signs for those who have logic thinking so you i
00:07:04.380 admire you honestly by the way yeah i really i'm very happy to talk to you seem like a very sincere
00:07:08.540 it's it's not because like i hate religion or anything like that people can believe whatever
00:07:11.660 they believe and i just choose not to believe in anything you definitely have that right but
00:07:14.860 thinking about and discussing now you do seem sincere you do accept that there are signs that god exists
00:07:19.340 and you did say that you do not believe that you want to worship him even though you believe it exists
00:07:22.940 but when we broke it down that the things that he's done for us and the things that he does you do
00:07:27.180 accept that he is worthy of worship yes okay from now onwards would you still say you are someone that
00:07:32.380 believes in god but doesn't worship him or would you say you're someone i'm somewhere in the middle okay would you
00:07:37.420 say for example that we can get you to the side where you believe in god and accept that he's
00:07:42.380 worthy of worship and you're going to start a journey maybe just trying to acquire that
00:07:47.420 yes yeah i think that's a good start and that's i'm not putting words in your mouth that's if you
00:07:51.100 believe that yeah because you did say that because come on how could we are you ungrateful to your mom
00:07:55.260 and dad no i love my mom you love your mother why do you love your mom and dad because they because
00:07:58.860 they're the ones that look out to me all my life what about the one who gave you your mom and dad
00:08:02.780 and the one that looks after you till this day that would be my grandparents no no no no whatever
00:08:06.460 no i'm talking about god almighty your great great grandparents yeah so for example your mom and dad
00:08:10.380 they go out to work for the food yeah yeah but who only my dad goes out to work okay that's good
00:08:16.220 that's good that's a quite traditional way of muslim household yeah the the thing is here that what
00:08:20.940 about the resources that we have now some people come and say oh i go to i work for it no you don't
00:08:25.260 because the water that we have why is it so clean for us to drink who made it like that
00:08:29.740 why why is our water clean for us to drink do you get what i'm trying to say yeah who has who has given
00:08:36.540 it that functionality that it is good for us the food that we eat why has it got nutrition why has
00:08:42.780 it got stuff that benefits us why is it that when a baby is born that it's the first thing that he
00:08:48.300 wants to do is suckle and the mother has the breast the milk is that a coincidence no so what we're
00:08:53.580 trying to say is these are all attributed to god almighty because if he exists and he's created us
00:08:59.660 he has his mercy is all around us do you get what i'm trying to say yeah so based on that we need
00:09:04.860 to understand and accept that because of who he is he's deserving of our worship do you get what i'm
00:09:09.100 trying to say yeah so i will give you a quran i'm going to leave you on this i don't want to hold 1.00
00:09:12.300 you do you have any questions for me uh no okay what i'm going to do is this yeah can you just hold this
00:09:16.380 yeah it's a microphone actually you know what you do this open the quran yeah 1.00
00:09:21.580 okay let's open the quran anywhere and point out point out to a verse to me
00:09:34.380 this one okay okay this is surah al-imran al-imran verse one five or one five one uh one five
00:09:41.740 one five okay so here is allah says but allah is your protector and he is the best of helpers
00:09:48.540 yeah we will okay so this is here it says but allah is your protector and he is the best of helpers
00:09:54.940 so as you can see this very specific verse yeah here it's telling you that he is your protector
00:10:00.860 and he is your helper well what we're talking about here of who he is and what he does for us
00:10:05.580 and that's why if he's worthy of worship or not yeah i'm going to give this to you as a gift
00:10:09.020 but what allah is saying in here is that he is your helper and your protector meaning that he provides
00:10:15.260 for you and we even believe there are angels that protect you from harm do you get what i'm trying to
00:10:19.100 say so i believe luke that you know you should look into this and if he exists if you know he exists
00:10:23.740 and he is deserving of worship because of everything he does for us pray to him you've got nothing to lose
00:10:28.460 go home and say look god if you're there guide me to the truth i'm confused i know you're there
00:10:35.020 okay i'm in the middle maybe you're worthy of worship okay we'll discuss that but guide me to
00:10:39.980 the truth can you do that yes luke thank you very much any more questions no thank you very much it's
00:10:44.860 a pleasure we'd like to see you with more costumes yes no problem thank you very much luke uh youtube

00:11:22.780 yeah that's my channel yeah yeah no problem it's been a pleasure luke man look after yourself
00:11:29.900 make sure you read the quran yeah i mean guys as you can see we're having nice honest questions here
00:11:36.620 and i find it very profound that he accepts that there are signs for god but he was like i don't
00:11:40.860 believe deserving of worship after some reflection he realized that god almighty is deserving of
00:11:47.580 worship and we discussed that today and this is what we're doing yes come let's talk about it
00:11:53.740 have you look after yourself thank you so as you can see uh guys we are causing we just want people
00:11:58.540 to reflect the fitrah is there we're just trying to reignite it and that's what happened today he
00:12:03.260 acknowledged that how could he love his body parts but not love the one who created those
00:12:08.300 so hopefully allah guides him you can support us at paypal in the link inshallah so we can carry
