00:00:00.000 Guys, before the video starts, I'm trying to raise 300,000 meals for 1,000 families in Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, Bangladesh, Boven Sisters, InshaAllah.
00:00:07.260 Help us feed them this Ramadan to open and break their fast. 0.99
00:00:10.180 And one reason I'm doing this, Boven Sisters, is because for many years, due to a variety of reasons, I hesitated to recite the Qur'an because I have internal intentions, because...
00:00:30.000 How can we have so many devices with so many apps which help us monitor our progress for our body, but none for the soul?
00:00:37.660 Well, the Qur'anly app is about to show you your progress with your soul.
00:00:41.840 Yes, that's correct. Not only does it encourage you to read, it tells you how many verses you've read, how many pages you've read, how long you've been on it, and best of all, the Hasana counter.
00:00:50.120 Download the Qur'anly app now and have a Ramadan with Allah's book like you've never had before.
00:01:00.000 And may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala accept our fast and enter us into Jannah among those who have fasted for his sake.
00:01:07.200 In this video, I'm going to be reciting Surah Al-Fatiha, InshaAllah, and I'm going to be talking about one specific verse in there, which I found very profound.
00:01:14.660 And I'm going to tell you guys why I'll be reciting, and I'm going to be doing a couple more videos of recitations as well, InshaAllah.
00:01:19.820 And I'm going to nominate three people to do the same in the month of Ramadan, because it's the month of the Qur'an.
00:01:25.580 Jubal Allah from Allah lo 0.99
00:01:53.340 Now I love Surah Fatih and that recitation was, I was imitating Ali Jabbar, may Allah have mercy on him.
00:02:12.000 I'll put a link into one of his videos, absolutely beautiful Surah Jinn specifically.
00:02:15.200 Now, one of the verses, one specific verse in Surah Fatih that I love, and this is one of the reasons that I would say I've come to Islam.
00:02:24.380 إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينَ
00:02:28.220 You alone we worship and you alone we ask for help.
00:02:31.940 Brothers and sisters, these statements are so profound.
00:02:34.500 This is the mother of the book. Surah Fatih is the mother of the Quran.
00:02:37.720 And brothers and sisters, subhanAllah, this statement distinguishes Islam from all religions around the world. 0.90
00:02:44.320 When people come and say to me, oh, you know, all religions go to the same roots or all this kind of...
00:02:48.240 No, no, no, no, no, no. I don't think you understand.
00:02:50.280 Islam is the only religion. 0.80
00:02:53.020 This specific statement is what makes Islam unique.
00:02:56.740 You alone we worship and you alone we ask for help.
00:03:00.600 The pinnacle of Tawheed and differentiates even Muslims who practice forms of shirk by going to the graves and asking the dead. 1.00
00:03:08.420 Yeah, and there's... I don't want to get into the whole nitty gritty of that.
00:03:11.400 There's many videos done by Mufti Munir.
00:03:13.220 Sheikh Tahir White has a brilliant video which I'm going to put, which he breaks down.
00:03:16.320 One specific individual who claims that it's the act of going and asking people the dead is haram, not shirk.
00:03:23.060 But watch that video. It's very beneficial.
00:03:24.840 But brothers and sisters, in a nutshell, this here is what makes us different.
00:03:28.660 Because this here, this statement, when it comes to all other religions, they always have some kind of other means. 0.91
00:03:35.500 Be it, for example, going through Jesus or the Hindus having multiple gods or the Quraysh themselves who would worship Al-Lut, Al-Uzza, Al-Manad. 0.57
00:03:44.140 And they would worship these people and they would say, look, and they affirmed in the Qur'an, Allah says that they would...
00:03:48.860 If Allah, if he was to ask them who created heavens and earth, they would say Allah. 0.70
00:03:52.180 They affirm Allah's rububiyah, he is the Lord.
00:03:55.220 But they committed shirk in his ulihiya, in his worship. 0.52
00:03:58.180 They would say, we go to God through these people.
00:04:00.880 And that's what the Christians do. 0.98
00:04:02.280 That's what the Hindus do. 1.00
00:04:03.300 That's what other people do.
00:04:04.580 They go through via other means.
00:04:06.200 So that is the reason why this is my favorite verse in Surah Fatiha, inshaAllah.
00:04:12.500 Iyyaka na'abudu wa iyyaka nasta'in.
00:04:14.760 And this is what makes Islam the pure monotheistic and adopted version of Tawheed, monotheism, inshaAllah.
00:04:22.520 I want to nominate Musa, Zishan, and Muhammad Hijab to, inshaAllah, do the same by reciting a specific verse in the Qur'an.
00:04:30.660 Or it can be a specific chapter.
00:04:32.400 And talking about what is it, one verse that you like in a specific chapter.
00:04:36.240 So please send this to them to Musa, to Muhammad Hijab, and to Zishan. 0.85
00:04:40.060 It's the month of Qur'an. 0.97
00:04:41.300 Let's recite the Qur'an, inshaAllah.
00:04:42.560 If you would like me to do more, recite in different parts, verses of the Qur'an in different places,
00:04:46.780 please let me know, inshaAllah.
00:04:47.520 And I can carry on doing it, inshaAllah.
00:04:49.380 And one reason I'm doing this, one reason is because for many years, due to a variety of reasons,
00:04:53.880 I hesitated to recite the Qur'an, be it public, in the context, in videos, etc.
00:04:59.980 Because I have internal intentions.
00:05:01.580 Because obviously I was always, well, I was always like kind of told that, you know,
00:05:06.320 you can't read the Qur'an and all this kind of stuff.
00:05:07.920 People used to say stuff.
00:05:09.040 And I didn't want to prove them wrong for my sake.
00:05:11.740 I didn't want to go there.
00:05:12.440 Like, oh no, I can recite the Qur'an.
00:05:13.700 I've memorized this.
00:05:14.520 Or I know how to read or this, that.
00:05:16.220 I didn't want to do that.
00:05:17.540 Because then it would have been doing it just to prove them wrong.
00:05:20.220 I wanted to do it for the sake of Allah.
00:05:21.560 And I believe after a variety of years, I've come to the point where I believe now this
00:05:25.520 is genuinely for the sake of Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala.
00:05:27.920 And that is the reason I'm doing this, inshaAllah.
00:05:29.920 Hope this a benefit to you guys.
00:05:31.220 May Allah bless every single one of you guys.
00:05:32.860 As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
00:05:35.080 Thank you.
