00:00:00.000 I used to struggle reading the Quran daily before you instructed me to download this app.
00:00:05.200 I never knew that this app would have such an impact on people's lives.
00:00:08.500 You can go into the description box, click the link for iOS and Android and build your habit with the Quran right now.
00:00:14.600 As-salamu alaykum guys, hope you guys are well inshallah.
00:00:16.200 The game, the game, what game am I talking about?
00:00:18.480 You guys know, brothers and sisters in Jahili, I used to listen to the game, 50 Cent, G-Unit, all these kind of the whole click.
00:00:23.000 I used to listen to them a lot.
00:00:23.980 They had a big influence in my lifestyle, the way I lived, the way I fought, the way I operated.
00:00:27.120 But it's very interesting to hear about him as a Muslim myself, 10 years ago coming to Islam.
00:00:31.980 And to see that individuals like the game that you would never think to yourself, subhanAllah, 0.99
00:00:36.540 you know, would they really come to Islam, the lifestyle that they live of, you know, money, cars, girls and everything like that?
00:00:40.720 Well, yes, they do. And why do they do that?
00:00:42.740 Well, here's what the game, the rapper had to say.
00:00:45.480 So somebody sent this to me on a story on Instagram.
00:00:47.840 It's the picture of the Holy Quran and it says, couldn't wait to get home and open you.
00:00:53.780 Yeah. Now, before the story, like before this one, the other ones were talking a bit about, which I didn't get a chance to screenshot them.
00:01:01.980 But he was talking more about people who are snaky towards him, you know, who have kind of maybe backstabbed him.
00:01:06.500 He was giving those kind of talk.
00:01:08.680 So you can see that people who are up there, brothers and sisters, we always think like when we watch,
00:01:12.500 I used to watch their music videos of girls and all this haram stuff, etc.
00:01:15.980 You really think like, wow, man, this is a lifestyle.
00:01:18.320 But you really ask yourself a question.
00:01:19.880 What do they really go through when all the lights are turned off and the music has been turned off?
00:01:24.340 What is their real lifestyle?
00:01:25.920 And this shows you, brothers and sisters, that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, every soul is going to be tested.
00:01:30.700 Now, there's a verse in the Quran where Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala mentions.
00:01:34.120 I want to read it. Yeah, inshallah.
00:01:35.820 Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says,
00:01:36.700 So, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says,
00:01:51.800 And by the soul and the one who made it well,
00:01:55.880 then inspired with it instincts of evil and piety.
00:02:00.200 Success is really attained by him who purifies it,
00:02:03.720 and failure is really suffered by him who pollutes it.
00:02:06.940 This is very interesting because Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is saying,
00:02:09.240 and this connects beautifully to this,
00:02:11.700 that we are all born with instincts of good and bad.
00:02:15.160 That's like, just imagine, I don't know if I say two cups or one cup, yeah?
00:02:19.420 So, if we have a cup, and half of the cup, argument's sake, it's fresh water,
00:02:24.000 and the top half, without being mixed, is dirty water,
00:02:27.140 we are created with both of them.
00:02:30.720 Now, it's upon you.
00:02:32.340 If you add more dirty water to it, it's going to pollute it.
00:02:35.680 It's going to make it worse.
00:02:36.920 Meaning, your evil nature is going to increase.
00:02:40.740 And that's what Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says,
00:02:41.900 we do not guide the sinning people,
00:02:43.820 like people who are transgressing and transgressing.
00:02:46.200 However, if you add clean water into that dirty water,
00:02:49.960 what do you think is going to happen to that polluted water? 0.70
00:02:52.180 It's going to what? Purify it.
00:02:54.080 And what does Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala say? 0.52
00:02:56.000 Success is really attained by him who purifies it.
00:03:00.780 So, you have instincts of good and bad.
00:03:02.280 You can't come under their judgment and say,
00:03:03.880 you know, no, no, no, no, no, you had good and bad.
00:03:06.220 Even when I was a non-Muslim, I would have instincts of doing evil, 1.00
00:03:09.280 and I would have instincts of doing good in certain scenarios.
00:03:11.800 So, my message, like, to all of you guys watching this as well,
00:03:14.320 is number one, do not look at celebrities or rappers or whoever they may be,
00:03:17.220 and think to yourself that they are living this amazing life,
00:03:19.980 and they're not, no, no, no.
00:03:20.800 Deep down, brother and sister, especially when you're rich,
00:03:23.080 you have a lot of fake people around you.
00:03:24.260 Even the person you want to marry, yeah?
00:03:25.820 You don't even know if they're with you for the right reasons or the wrong reasons.
00:03:28.640 So, for the game to come home, imagine, he has all of those things,
00:03:31.940 money, cards, girls, anything,
00:03:33.940 and he makes an Instagram story saying,
00:03:36.520 and having a picture of the Qur'an and saying,
00:03:38.780 I can't wait home to come and open you.
00:03:41.760 What does that say?
00:03:42.840 That he truly finds solace, peace, tranquility in the kitab of Allah.
00:03:47.340 And it is, like Allah says in the Qur'an,
00:03:49.660 only in the remembrance of your Lord do hearts find peace.
00:03:51.820 And how else can you find remembrance except by his kitab?
00:03:55.060 Brothers and sisters, ask Allah to open the Qur'an to you.
00:03:59.080 The Qur'an is a treasure of many treasures.
00:04:03.000 Connect yourself to the Qur'an.
00:04:04.780 If a disbeliever, which I don't know if he's a believer or not, 0.84
00:04:07.280 like Gain, who's involved in the rap industry and haram, etc.,
00:04:10.580 can find peace and solace in the Qur'an,
00:04:12.820 what about us believers, brothers and sisters?
00:04:15.000 Ask Allah to connect you to the Qur'an, 0.89
00:04:16.820 allow you to memorize the Qur'an,
00:04:18.320 and to live and die by it.
00:04:19.680 That's all I would have to say, inshallah.
00:04:21.380 Maybe you guys can tag the game, inshallah,
00:04:24.300 and send this to him.
00:04:25.060 Maybe he can see it.
00:04:26.060 And if he's not a Muslim, 0.97
00:04:26.960 I would highly, highly encourage him to,
00:04:29.180 which he is reading the Qur'an,
00:04:30.600 but also dua, which is a prayer.
00:04:33.240 Ask God Almighty to guide.
00:04:35.880 And you are already on that path.
00:04:37.640 That's all I have to say, brothers and sisters, inshallah.
00:04:39.380 May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala guide him, 0.70
00:04:40.760 and guide us, inshallah,
00:04:41.960 and make us among those who will die on la ilaha illallah.
00:04:44.820 Till next time.
00:04:45.560 As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
00:04:47.500 Yes, thank you.
00:04:48.320 As-salamu alaykum.
00:04:48.620 Okay.
00:04:48.940 As-salamu alaykum wa with love.
