00:00:08.800 Brother Barak is someone that is known, a Turkish influencer who is known for cooking and his

00:00:18.480 beautiful smile. May Allah preserve him. And he does many many amazing works and

00:00:23.040 alhamdulillah we know his videos from even though I don't really follow it that much

00:00:26.120 but here and there we know his videos with a big bright smile that lightens

00:00:30.440 everybody's face and we know the Prophet peace be upon him said smile indeed it is

00:00:33.680 Sunnah it's a form of charity and alhamdulillah when you watch his videos

00:00:36.920 someone's smiling it gives you positivity you know sometimes unlike myself you

00:00:40.940 know I try my best to smile but please forgive me guys but the point is what we

00:00:44.540 love food we love someone you know looking at someone maybe smiling instead

00:00:47.840 of looking grumpy or whatever it may be but what is it that took away that smile

00:00:53.360 from Burak what was it brothers and sisters and indeed when I saw this video

00:00:58.160 firstly number one I was very sad to hear this number two it reminded me of the

00:01:03.680 hadith of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him which was narrated by Abu Hurayrah

00:01:06.680 brothers and sisters this is what's going on brother Burak is battling some say

00:01:12.800 it's a tumor or some kind of a cancer or tumor whatever it may be inshaAllah and he is

00:01:18.440 going through treatment the videos that you see on my right or left is of him in

00:01:21.800 hospital undergoing surgery the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said verily

00:01:26.300 remember the destroyer of all pleasures which is what death death is what it is

00:01:33.500 I saw a recent video of his where he is not smiling now some say it was because of

00:01:37.880 the Turkish earthquake or whatever it may be but that smile was gone was that video

00:01:42.320 the same it wasn't and when a calamity hits brothers and sisters all of us when we

00:01:47.180 hear it our faces drop our hearts sink why brothers and sisters because we are too

00:01:53.780 invested in this life so invested Allah says in the Quran

00:01:57.080 you are too busy worldly affairs yeah and by the way this doesn't go to brother Burak

00:02:08.780 I'm just talking in general you are too busy worldly affairs with the worldly affairs until

00:02:13.880 you visit the graves and know surely you will know and know surely you will know Allah

00:02:20.680 with certainty that in a nutshell that day you're going to have sharp vision 2020 is

00:02:27.180 nothing you are going to have sharp vision you are going to know that subhanallah

00:02:32.380 everything Allah and his messenger said is right in front of my eyes and guess what

00:02:37.480 everybody on that day is going to be regretting even the believers why because

00:02:41.560 the believers are going to say I wish I did more for my Lord I wish I did more

00:02:45.180 whereas the disbelievers are going to regret for no avail I wish we believed it's too 1.00

00:02:51.080 late now brothers and sisters that smile that is taken from his face shows that the

00:02:56.480 videos are not the same we sometimes call it a calamity and Allah says in the Quran that

00:03:00.480 we send a smaller calamity to divert a bigger calamity the bigger calamity is you losing the

00:03:04.980 hereafter there is no bigger calamity that you can live than that now I want to ask you

00:03:09.580 guys a question if you had somebody come to you and say you are going to die in one

00:03:15.480 year's time in three months time in a week's time in four years time you know that in itself

00:03:22.220 the fact that you know exactly and maybe that's what Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala never says tells

00:03:26.160 us when we're going to die and when judgment day is because that will depress you more but

00:03:30.700 imagine if someone came and said to you you know what you're going to die in two years time

00:03:34.540 you would say you know what I'm sad that this is going to happen yes but I am happy that I can

00:03:43.400 prepare for my hereafter now I want to ask you guys a question Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala does that 0.66

00:03:48.180 not with a direct message not with someone coming and telling not the angels not wahi not ilham or

00:03:53.940 whatever not Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala coming and telling you but rather he does it through calamities

00:03:57.860 how cancer tumor this illness that illness and then that is a direct message as if Allah is saying

00:04:05.960 prepare for that day is that a calamity or a blessing wallahi billahi that is the biggest blessing

00:04:12.840 because on your maqiyama when you have done the good deeds and you have repented and done all of

00:04:17.200 these and not everyone is as lucky not everyone is lucky to get cancer or a disease that tells them no

00:04:21.700 no some people die suddenly suddenly subhanallah to remind us that not everybody's going to get this

00:04:27.620 glad tidings which we think is a calamity and that's what Allah says you might hate something

00:04:31.340 which is good for you which is what this calamity that comes in a form of a disease it's a direct

00:04:36.800 warning as if Allah is saying your time is running and as if it's a mercy of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

00:04:42.440 yes he sometimes inspires his servants like ibn al-qaym said from the salaf he calls from the salaf

00:04:49.940 that he said that Allah even inspires our du'a that he wants you know when you ask specific du'as

00:04:54.900 Allah is doing that so you can ask that thing because he wants to grant you it it's the same 0.94

00:04:59.560 way when Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala sends a calamity and makes you realize time is ticking just like 0.98

00:05:05.500 our beautiful brother who passed away Ali Banat he said gifted with cancer indeed it was a gift he

00:05:10.740 rectified his affairs he's got a charity that's a sadaqa jari from him wallahi he's inshaAllah now

00:05:15.600 probably happy smiling with his lord that calamity that you hate so much will be the biggest blessing

00:05:21.560 of your life may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala give shifaat of brother barak and bring a smile back
