00:15:53.000 Americanism, not globalism, will be our credo.
00:16:00.000 It's going to be only America first.
00:16:05.000 America first.
00:16:09.000 The American people will come first once again.
00:16:35.000 America First!
00:16:36.000 America First!
00:17:18.000 Good evening, everybody.
00:17:19.000 You're watching America First.
00:17:21.000 My name is Nicholas J. Fuentes.
00:17:22.000 We have a great show for you tonight.
00:17:23.000 Very excited to be back with you tonight on Friday.
00:17:27.000 Wow, thank God it's Friday, right?
00:17:30.000 It's been such a long week.
00:17:32.000 Time goes on, right?
00:17:34.000 Every week, it's long days, long weeks.
00:17:37.000 It's been a long year, but hey, thank God it's Friday.
00:17:39.000 The weekend has finally arrived, and we've got a great show for you tonight.
00:17:44.000 Lots to get into, lots to discuss.
00:17:47.000 We've got a casual, low-key, very comfortable episode, as you can tell.
00:17:52.000 I'm not wearing a necktie, and this of course indicates that it is casual Friday.
00:17:57.000 Time again for another fun show.
00:17:59.000 Tonight we'll be changing it up a little bit.
00:18:02.000 I know last week I was at CPAC.
00:18:04.000 The week before that we did a call-in show.
00:18:07.000 So tonight the news is a little bit slow.
00:18:10.000 So we're going to talk about a few things.
00:18:12.000 First we're going to get into this statement from the College Republicans at Iowa State, which I missed yesterday.
00:18:19.000 I did my whole show yesterday talking about my trip to Iowa State and I completely neglected, I guess I just didn't see it, but the Iowa Republicans who hosted me, or were supposed to host me on Wednesday night, they posted their own little statement about the event, which I did not find out about until immediately after the show yesterday.
00:18:37.000 So we're going to take a look at that and go over it.
00:18:40.000 I think it deserves a little bit of special attention.
00:18:43.000 We'll talk about International Women's Day and then we will get into a call-in portion of the show and we'll take a little bit of time to take some calls and hear from people.
00:18:52.000 It's been a while and some big things have happened so it'll be good to hear from the masses.
00:18:57.000 You know I love to hear from the masses.
00:19:00.000 So it should be a fun show.
00:19:01.000 We're going to experiment with the format a little bit.
00:19:03.000 We'll have a little bit of talk and then a little bit of the calls.
00:19:07.000 I know the calls are a divisive portion of the show.
00:19:13.000 Some people love it.
00:19:14.000 Some people, you know, they could describe their experience as less than loving it.
00:19:21.000 You know, I don't think they particularly care for the call-ins.
00:19:25.000 We'll mix it up a little bit and it should be a fun time.
00:19:27.000 But like I said, the first thing we're going to talk about here tonight on this International Women's Day... I have to say we're not going to get into all that right now.
00:19:35.000 We'll get into that in a moment.
00:19:36.000 But doesn't it feel like there's multiple days like this?
00:19:40.000 Has time really just gone by that quickly?
00:19:44.000 Or does it feel like every week there's something like this?
00:19:47.000 I don't know.
00:19:48.000 Has it really been a year since we last talked about International Women's Day?
00:19:51.000 Because I feel like these things happen, like, every few months.
00:19:55.000 The same thing happened with, like, Holocaust Remembrance Day or something, where it felt like there were three or four within the same month or within, you know, six months.
00:20:05.000 So I don't know.
00:20:06.000 Maybe it's just been a year.
00:20:07.000 But anyway, we'll get into that in a moment.
00:20:09.000 The first thing we want to talk about here is this statement.
00:20:13.000 Like I said, the statement that was given by the College Republicans, as you know, and maybe people went back and reviewed it, I went to Iowa State on Wednesday for my first ever campus speech, and who knows?
00:20:26.000 Maybe that'll materialize into some kind of a college tour in the fall.
00:20:29.000 Who knows?
00:20:30.000 You know, there's early planning stages happening, but that was my debut on the college campus.
00:20:36.000 We were finally able to make it happen, and could have gone better.
00:20:40.000 It also could have gone a lot worse, but I was there, and
00:20:43.000 I discussed in great detail yesterday sort of the build-up to the event, the event itself, some takeaways, some conclusions we can draw from it.
00:20:52.000 But something I missed, a little piece of the story that I missed here was from the College Republicans.
00:20:56.000 And it's funny because last night on the show I said, oh these guys are pussies and they totally backed out.
00:21:02.000 And that was just with the information I had.
00:21:04.000 I had never seen this part before.
00:21:07.000 And who can really blame me?
00:21:08.000 Nobody told me about it, and I don't follow what goes on on Iowa State campus, right?
00:21:12.000 I wasn't really keeping apprised of the situation after I got out of there.
00:21:17.000 But while I was driving home, you know, it was about a five and a half hour drive from Ames, Iowa back to the suburbs of Chicago.
00:21:24.000 While I was en route, you know, and this was a long journey in the wasteland and the
00:21:30.000 That's what it appeared to be, I guess.
00:21:32.000 You know, just driving past farm after farm and no geographical or topographical features, no landmarks, no nothing.
00:21:40.000 While I was driving home, this statement was posted and I totally missed it, but we'll review it here tonight and I'll pull it up on the big screen here so you guys can take a look.
00:21:50.000 This statement was posted, like I said, at 1120 a.m.
00:21:51.000 on March 7th.
00:21:55.000 So that was yesterday.
00:21:56.000 Like I said, I was driving home, so I totally missed this.
00:21:59.000 And you can see they've got a pretty nice ratio going over here.
00:22:02.000 A cool 7 likes, 5 retweets, 163 replies.
00:22:08.000 And that's, of course, because I went off a little bit about this on Twitter last night.
00:22:13.000 Like I said, I did the whole show last night only to discover then, once the show ended, that this had been posted hours before I even went live.
00:22:22.000 And so I'll read you the statement in full.
00:22:24.000 This is the official College Republican statement over events... I don't know, maybe that's not really the right wording... that transpired on campus last night.
00:22:33.000 So I'll read you the statement.
00:22:34.000 Bear with me, it's a little bit long and kind of cringe.
00:22:37.000 You're going to be cringing the whole time here, but I'll read it in its entirety for you.
00:22:42.000 So it says, for immediate release March 7th, 2019, last night's events have left many people shaken.
00:22:50.000 People are literally shaking because of this event.
00:22:53.000 First and foremost, we want to reiterate that College Republicans had nothing to do with the speaker, Nick Fuentes, who appeared on campus.
00:23:01.000 There have been many lies, slanderous attacks, and some genuine honest miscommunication that have appeared recently and we would like to address these issues immediately.
00:23:11.000 The aforementioned speaker's views were in no way shape or form representative of the Republican Party's or College Republicans' views.
00:23:19.000 College Republicans had been led to believe that this was an approved turning point event with a turning point approved speaker.
00:23:25.000 This individual was largely unheard of
00:23:28.000 And we had no reason to suspect otherwise.
00:23:31.000 His views are in direct contradiction to our club.
00:23:34.000 We apologize for our carelessness in that assumption and are deeply sorry to anyone who was hurt by it.
00:23:39.000 We have all been greatly misled.
00:23:42.000 As previously stated, College Republicans had nothing to do with this event.
00:23:46.000 College Republicans cancelled our meeting for this week two weeks ago due to midterms.
00:23:50.000 While we did initially have a reservation on one room used, this is because we reserved our meeting rooms for the entire semester over winter break.
00:23:57.000 As of Tuesday morning, any hold we had on the room in question should have been cancelled.
00:24:02.000 Now, here's my favorite part, the best part perhaps.
00:24:05.000 Now, rather than continue to discuss an individual who lives off attention and should be forgotten and left in the past, we would like to commend two individuals who took the time yesterday to respectfully listen to each other's views and create an open dialogue.
00:24:22.000 Many times College Republicans has tried to open up an exchange between opposing views and unfortunately we find that oftentimes others are unwilling to meet us halfway and just want to protest and resort to name-calling.
00:24:35.000 That's kind of interesting.
00:24:36.000 A little bit of irony there, right?
00:24:38.000 Last night, Alexis Holmes of the Black Students Alliance and Anthony Labruna of College Republicans held a conversation addressing why they were there to a crowded lecture hall, each focusing on free speech.
00:24:50.000 Individuals were allowed to speak after waiting and being properly addressed, and great progress was made to bring people of different backgrounds together.
00:24:58.000 Oh wow, that's really nice.
00:25:00.000 That's so adorable.
00:25:01.000 It was made clear that members of the Black Student Alliance were there to quietly protest, to listen to what this individual had to say, and to refute anything they disagreed with later.
00:25:10.000 Similarly, any college Republican members were there, thinking this was a much different speaker, willing to listen to what he had to say and then think for themselves.
00:25:19.000 This is at the heart of free speech.
00:25:20.000 If one dislikes a message, be it simple,
00:25:23.000 Okay, so again, this is just littered with all kinds of clunky and improper wording.
00:25:28.000 Be it a simple disagreement or a vile message, the best thing to do is refute the arguments one by one and expose their weaknesses to the world.
00:25:36.000 Simply birding or censoring speech only creates a forbidden knowledge, which the taboo makes stronger.
00:25:43.000 Who wrote this statement?
00:25:45.000 What are they teaching at Iowa State?
00:25:47.000 Is everybody at Iowa State retarded?
00:25:49.000 Because I also read an editorial from the Iowa State Daily, and I don't know, is just the language not their specialty there?
00:25:56.000 Is this like, I don't know, I guess that's what you get at a state school, right?
00:26:01.000 But anyway, after hearing the speaker, Anthony Labruna later denounced Nick Fuentes stating, quote, everything he said last night were views that are not held by the Republican Party.
00:26:10.000 Yeah, damn right, by the way, damn right.
00:26:13.000 And maybe that's why the Republican Party is gay and is failing.
00:26:17.000 Maybe that's why they're going to go extinct.
00:26:19.000 Talk about people being left in the past.
00:26:31.000 The irony is lost here.
00:26:34.000 These are individuals who both their organizations should be proud of and it is with great honor that we can call Anthony Labruna a College Republican.
00:26:41.000 The College Republicans of Iowa State University.
00:26:45.000 A couple of things.
00:26:46.000 In the first place, we have to correct the record here.
00:26:50.000 The College Republicans were involved in this event.
00:26:52.000 And I don't know if many people are interested in the nitty-gritty logistical details.
00:26:56.000 I'm honestly over it.
00:26:58.000 You know, who reserved the room and all this bureaucratic stuff is not interesting to me.
00:27:04.000 But what you see here is the head of the College Republicans whose name is Minnick or something.
00:27:11.000 He was directly involved in the event and what he's trying to do now is avoid responsibility.
00:27:17.000 The situation has got a little too hot for him on campus.
00:27:21.000 I don't know!
00:27:21.000 I don't remember!
00:27:37.000 Just for the record, for, you know, the press, for... I got a couple of requests for comment from the media, and I'll get to that after my show tonight.
00:27:46.000 Yes, the College Republicans were involved with this.
00:27:49.000 They did reach out to me.
00:27:50.000 They did organize this event.
00:27:52.000 They did reserve the rooms.
00:27:53.000 They know full well who I am, my views, my show.
00:27:56.000 This was discussed in great detail.
00:27:58.000 Moreover, it was discussed in great detail how we could evade the press.
00:28:02.000 So if this guy's gonna try and throw me under the bus and paint this picture like
00:28:07.000 We're good to go?
00:28:26.000 All the way from the top, all the way down to college Republicans like this.
00:28:30.000 When are people finally going to take some responsibility for their views, for their country?
00:28:36.000 Do they really believe that the people in the Black Student Alliance, again, if they just sit down and have a conversation, and there's enough apologizing, and there's enough appeasing, that we're all going to be able to get along?
00:28:48.000 Do you think that the people in the Black Student Alliance, all those people, little rows in their handles on Twitter,
00:28:53.000 They're all going to like you.
00:28:54.000 They're all going to care about you.
00:28:55.000 They're going to take it easy on you.
00:28:57.000 They're going to respect your existence and your right to free speech if you just cuck on these sort of things, you backstab your allies.
00:29:04.000 I guessed!
00:29:05.000 Of course not.
00:29:06.000 And I'll also say this.
00:29:08.000 Last night, and I came to the event, or I'm sorry, not last night, Wednesday.
00:29:13.000 I don't know.
00:29:28.000 Um, you know, the college Republicans are saying they didn't reserve this room, so we can't let you speak here.
00:29:33.000 It was very congenial.
00:29:34.000 But here I am as a guest, trying to work out this situation logistically with room reservations and everything else, and one of the protesters, this black girl, I don't know if I said this on the show last night, but I tweeted about it, this black girl who, I don't know what organization she was a part of, but she came to
00:29:51.000 Whatever it was, protest, or to refute my racist points, or whatever.
00:29:55.000 But she said, oh really?
00:29:57.000 They totally bailed on you?
00:29:58.000 They didn't show up?
00:29:59.000 I said, yep, they totally bailed on me.
00:30:01.000 They totally stabbed me in the back on this one.
00:30:04.000 And she just shook her head.
00:30:06.000 And there's a lesson in this.
00:30:08.000 Whether you're a right-wing person, you're a left-wing person, whether people agree with your views, other people don't agree with your views,
00:30:15.000 Nobody respects bad character.
00:30:17.000 Nobody respects cowardice.
00:30:20.000 Nobody respects treachery.
00:30:21.000 I mean, these are things that universally are not admirable traits, and I have to say it just reflects very poorly on everybody involved.
00:30:28.000 You know, it's bad enough that I was embarrassed by this big situation, but you know, I come on your campus as a guest.
00:30:34.000 I'm a special guest there.
00:30:35.000 I offered to do the speech for free because they seemed like okay guys, and this is the treatment
