00:10:25.000By a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covet means.
00:10:39.000Christianity and Christ so different from the other religions is that our religion is based on the bearing of suffering for the sake of even those that persecute us.
00:10:54.000An overflowing of love, an overflowing of self-giving love, so much of it it cannot be contained.
00:11:07.000An unconditional, absolute standard of love for all of God's children.
00:11:14.000Even those that are misguided, even those that persecute us, even the most heinous among us.
00:11:59.000Read as many books as you can, learn a language, learn an instrument, get the best grades you can, get into a good school, and just don't mess around.
00:12:07.000You turn like 18, 20, and then it just goes at light speed.
00:12:11.000And if you are wasting time, years will go by.
00:12:15.000And you will wake up when you're 25 years old and say, I thought I would have accomplished more by now.
00:12:20.000Why am I still stuck in the same place?
00:12:24.000Let time be your ally by working every single day at what you think you want to be doing in 20 years.
00:12:38.000The servant who received five talents invested it and earned five more.
00:12:43.000The one who received two talents also invested wisely and earned two more.
00:12:49.000But the servant who received one talent went and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master's money.
00:12:56.000When the master returned, the servant with five talents said, Master, you gave me five and look, I've gained five more.
00:13:04.000The master replied, Well done, good and faithful servant.
00:13:08.000Because you have been faithful with little, I will put you in charge of much.
00:13:14.000The servant with two talents said, Master, you gave me two, and look, I've gained two more.
00:13:20.000The master said the same, Well done, good and faithful servant.
00:13:25.000You have been faithful with little, I will trust you with much.
00:13:30.000But the servant with one talent said, Master, I was afraid, so I hid your money in the ground.
00:14:22.000Let's say that Kamala Harris had won the election in 2024.
00:14:25.000If Kamala doubled down on supporting Ukraine as Trump has, if Kamala bombed Iran, there'd be riots in the streets.1.00
00:14:33.000People would say our illegitimate president, who cheated her way into the nomination, she's expanding the war, she's expanding World War III into the Middle East.0.93
00:14:42.000Everybody would say this is illegitimate, this is like a crime.
00:14:45.000But because it was Trump, 90% of Republicans supported Trump bombing Iran on Israel's behalf.
00:15:25.000After October 7th, the Jews knew that the Republican Party, controlled by AIPAC, controlled by Israel, and with Trump in office, they were going to let Israel do whatever they wanted to do.0.86
00:16:24.000When Israel was under attack, They played into the right wing because they knew that the Republican Party would say things like, There's a Muslim takeover of America.
00:18:44.000I love a single word you say Makes me feel some type of way It's the thought of you that slightly scares me Takes my breath away Forget what I was gonna say I met you

01:03:54.000The United States military began major combat operations in Iran.0.90
01:04:00.000To consign the American empire to destruction while they look forward to a golden age, while they look forward to a century of empire and domination.0.92
01:04:10.000Maybe we can't stop it, but I'm not going along with that.
01:04:48.000When Syria and Egypt launched a surprise attack on Israel, which started the Yom Kippur War on October 6th, 1973, almost 50 years exactly before October 7th, Israel was almost overrun.
01:05:01.000And the United States was reluctant to provide them with the military support that they needed to defend themselves.
01:05:07.000So, the prime minister of Israel, Golda Meir, called up Nixon and said, If you don't help us, we will nuke Syria and Egypt.
01:20:11.000You're raised by your parents, you go to school, you finish school, then you move into an apartment as a single man or woman, and you go to work.0.72
01:21:17.000So it's totally fair for us to recognize that the countries around Russia, no, we shouldn't be invading or torturing them or oppressing them, of course.
01:21:26.000And big picture, holy smokes, you do not want the two largest powers in the world, apart from the United States, to get together and align against us.0.50
01:21:35.000Why do you support Israel against Hamas, for example?
01:21:39.000Why do you support America giving them billions of dollars?
01:32:29.000last thing I'm gonna say about it, and then we're because I don't want to crash out again, for you know, 100 minutes like I did the other day, But.1.00
01:49:23.000the September attacks, there were countless rumors about strange coincidences surrounding the events.
01:49:29.000One report about a group of Middle Eastern men spotted the morning of September 11th parked just across the river from New York City has not gone away.
01:50:09.000Only America first, America first will come for once again.0.99
01:52:17.000So, in case you have not been paying attention, we are currently in a war with Iran because they have a nuclear program.
01:52:27.000We are currently in a $38 billion war with the Islamic Republic of Iran because they have a nuclear program and specifically because they have uranium enrichment on their territory.
01:52:40.000In the middle of the war, the Trump administration has announced that we are signing a deal with Saudi Arabia to build them a nuclear program, which will potentially include the enrichment of uranium on their soil.
01:53:03.000The thing is, and we'll get into this, it's not exactly the same thing.
01:53:09.000I know that sounds like a total contradiction at first or on paper, but when you get into the details, there's a catch that makes it sound a little bit better.
01:53:23.000But on its face, it is a little bit ridiculous that simultaneously we are at war with Iran because they're trying to develop a nuclear program.0.67
01:53:33.000And at the same time, we're going to give Saudi Arabia a nuclear program.0.55
01:53:38.000And however you cut it, like I said, we'll get into it.0.54
01:53:40.000There are some details that are relevant, and I think it makes it sound a little bit better once you understand how this is going to be done, if it's done at all.
01:53:48.000Regardless of the details, as goes Saudi Arabia, so will go every other country in the region.
01:53:56.000You give Saudi Arabia a nuclear program, and all the other major players are going to follow suit.
01:54:02.000And that's the UAE, that's Turkey, that's Egypt, and probably it's going to be Iran.0.68
01:54:07.000It's going to be hard to take away from them a nuclear program while we're giving one to another country, which is practically on their border.0.81
01:54:39.000And we just seem to be climbing it slowly but surely.
01:54:42.000The big development is that today the Trump administration announced that we will be bombing civilian infrastructure in Iran, specifically every time they attack commercial shipping in the Strait.
01:54:57.000So, ever since the MOU collapsed, Iran has attacked something like three dozen commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
01:55:04.000Now that campaign has actually expanded into the Red Sea.
01:55:08.000Where, as we talked about in the past couple of days, the Houthi rebels in Yemen are now attacking Saudi linked commercial vessels in the Bab el Mandeb Strait, and they attacked two of them just today.
01:55:21.000Trump administration now says every commercial vessel that's targeted going forward in the future will now result in a one to one proportionate response.
01:55:31.000Trump says specifically we will bomb one bridge or one power plant, even inside the capital, Tehran.0.99
01:55:51.000We always could have attacked civilian infrastructure in Iran the electrical grid, the power plants, the bridges, the roads, oil and gas fields.0.68
01:56:01.000The reason that we have not, and why it has not been a good idea, is because we know that Iran can retaliate, and whatever we do to them, they could do to our allies on the other side of the Gulf.0.77
01:56:13.000So, if we bomb Iran's infrastructure, Iran is going to bomb Saudi Arabia's infrastructure.0.56
01:57:13.000And on some level, they are still trying to contain the fighting.
01:57:18.000The proportionality, this principle of proportionality means that Trump and Iran also, I believe, are trying to contain and control the scope of the fighting.
01:57:31.000Neither side wants it to unravel, neither side wants it to go completely out of control.
01:57:38.000And so, the Trump administration is saying it's going to be one to one, and Iran says, well, likewise, it'll be an eye for an eye.
02:07:28.000You know, I'm in Dan Kazarian's trampoline room and they're smoking pot.
02:07:33.000It's Jake and it's Dan, and you know, they're just kind of going back and forth.0.99
02:07:37.000So, I think fucking the Jews did 9 11 and this and that.0.99
02:07:40.000And I'm like, this is just like not my scene.1.00
02:07:42.000These are not my people, you know, or you're with Sneeko and it's all these Muslim towel heads and they're talking about, you know, wudu and boo boo and gawa and this and that.1.00
02:07:52.000And I'm like, I can't fuck with that either.1.00
02:07:54.000It's just brown clownery, like, fuck all that.1.00
02:07:57.000Anyway, so what can we do short of joining the Jews?1.00
02:08:01.000We just need to make our own, once again, We are left with the task of carving out our own.1.00
02:10:33.000We're talking all about Saudi Arabia's nuclear program.
02:10:37.000And I recognize it's kind of a boring topic, but it's a little bit interesting in light of what else is happening in the Middle East.
02:10:44.000I'm sure the irony is not lost on anybody.
02:10:48.000So, the big story tonight is that the Trump administration today formally announced a 30 year bilateral agreement to build a nuclear program for Saudi Arabia.0.97
02:11:00.000Now, for those that are not aware, Saudi Arabia is a brutal Muslim theocracy.0.83
02:11:08.000It is a hereditary monarchy run by the Saudi king, and they implement Sharia law as the civil legal code.0.99
02:11:19.000The king of Saudi Arabia is a custodian of the two holy mosques at Mecca and Medina.0.92
02:11:25.000And this country has actually spawned most or all of the Muslim terrorism that we've seen in Europe and the United States in this century.0.93
02:11:33.000Every one of the radical Muslim groups, from Al Qaeda to ISIS, the lone wolves that they inspired, they all derive their ideology from Saudi Wahhabist clerics and their specific radical interpretation of Islam.0.98
02:11:50.000And the United States is signing a 30 year agreement with them to give them a nuclear program.0.95
02:11:58.000And you might be thinking to yourself, well, isn't that why we're at war with Iran?0.86
02:12:04.000We are at war with Iran and have been at war with Iran ostensibly for the past eight years, going back to 2018, because Iran has a nuclear program.0.75
02:12:16.000Iran says their nuclear program is for peaceful purposes.0.78
02:12:22.000We say that our problem with Iran is that Iran's nuclear program has the native ability to enrich uranium.0.85
02:12:29.000Well, under this deal, so will Saudi Arabia.0.79
02:12:33.000We are building a nuclear program for Saudi Arabia, and this might include, pending a study, nuclear enrichment on their soil.0.86
02:12:44.000And people say, well, the difference is Iran is a Muslim theocracy with Sharia law, whose supreme leader is a cleric.
02:12:55.000And you say, well, that's the same situation with Saudi Arabia.0.95
02:12:59.000So it's going to be really hard to negotiate with Iran and try to get them.0.86
02:13:03.000To not have a nuclear program when we're giving one to the Saudis.
02:13:07.000This is a story from the New York Times.
02:13:09.000It says The U.S. and Saudi Arabia have reached a landmark agreement to provide the kingdom with a civilian nuclear program and potentially open the door to uranium enrichment on its territory, according to the Trump administration on Wednesday.
02:13:24.000The 30 year multi billion dollar deal gives American companies a central role in developing Saudi Arabia's nuclear infrastructure while shutting out foreign competitors.
02:13:33.000A key provision would have American companies build a uranium enrichment.
02:13:37.000Facility in Saudi Arabia, if a joint U.S. Saudi study determines that such a step would be warranted.
02:13:43.000The deal is expected to be submitted to Congress for review in the coming days.
02:13:48.000President Trump last week formally approved the deal, which includes an agreement on nuclear cooperation and a bilateral safeguards document.
02:13:56.000Saudi officials have long argued that the deal is necessary to enable the kingdom to develop a nuclear industry, which would draw on unproven uranium ore deposits to try to meet energy needs at home.
02:14:08.000This would free up more of its oil production for export and boost revenue.
02:14:12.000Saudi Arabia insists its intentions are peaceful, although Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said in 2018 that if Iran ever develops a nuclear weapon, his nation will follow suit.
02:14:23.000As the reactor projects advance, U.S. and Saudi officials would also carry out a two year study to examine the value of enrichment for Saudi Arabia, including whether it would be commercially viable to enrich uranium on Saudi soil instead of relying on imported fuel.
02:14:40.000If the study concludes that indigenous enrichment is warranted, Americans would build the enrichment facility under a secretive black box arrangement that would preclude the transfer of sensitive enrichment technology to the Saudis.
02:14:55.000So the Saudis have been interested in civilian nuclear energy for a long time.
02:15:01.000And the reason is because they anticipate that over time, demand for fossil fuel will peak and then fall.
02:15:09.000And so Saudi Arabia is trying to diversify their economy.
02:15:12.000And at least in the short term, they would like to use nuclear energy for their own needs.
02:15:19.000And then they can take more of the oil that they extract from the Persian Gulf and their eastern province and export more of it, sell more of it, and make more money.
02:15:30.000But of course, it's a very difficult subject because the prospect of a Muslim country, one of Israel's neighbors, having a nuclear program is deeply unsettling.0.91
02:15:43.000It's actually part of Israel's foreign policy doctrine, going back to the 1980s, that they will not allow any one of their rivals, any one of their neighbors, to develop nuclear.0.99
02:15:55.000And pursuant to this, Israel bombed Iraq's nuclear power plant at Osirik in 1981, and they bombed Syria's nuclear program in 2007.
02:16:06.000Of course, the Iraq War in 2003 was ostensibly about Saddam Hussein's possession of WMDs or potentially a nuclear weapons program.
02:16:18.000So for Saudi Arabia to have nuclear energy is very controversial because this goes.
02:16:23.000100% against Israel's doctrine that they will not allow any other country to even have a nuclear breakout capacity.
02:16:32.000So, to that end, for many years, this was under discussion.
02:16:37.000The difference between Saudi Arabia and Iraq in 1981, or Syria in 2007, or Iran in the present day is that Saudi Arabia has been an ally of the United States for 80 years, and they've been an informal ally of Israel for a few decades as well.
02:16:55.000So, it is less controversial than Saddam Hussein, the Assad dynasty, or the Iranians getting a program because they are one of the key strategic allies of the United States, one of the major non NATO allies of Washington, and also an ally of Israel, too.
02:17:14.000However, for a very long time, the trade off was going to be under the first Trump administration and under the Biden administration that in order for us to allow Saudi Arabia to have nuclear energy, We first were going to require them to normalize relations with Israel.
02:17:34.000As it stands, there's only a handful of countries in the entire Middle East that recognize Israel's existence, that formally recognize Israel as a sovereign state and have bilateral relations with them.
02:17:47.000And those countries are Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, Morocco, Turkey.
02:17:55.000Saudi Arabia still has not normalized relations with Israel.
02:17:59.000And so, under the Biden administration, there was a lot of negotiating about this about Saudi Arabia joining the Abraham Accords, normalizing relations with Israel, and then this would unlock, in particular, the nuclear program, among other things.
02:18:15.000Well, now what has changed is that the Trump administration says Saudi Arabia can get a civilian nuclear program for the purpose of energy without normalizing relations with Israel.
02:18:28.000And as it stands, Saudi Israel normalization was derailed after October 7th.
02:18:35.000We were well on our way to an agreement like that.
02:18:38.000It seemed like it might have even been months away.0.87
02:18:40.000That's actually a big part of why Hamas attacked Israel when they did.0.69
02:18:45.000Hamas knew that if Israel and the Saudis normalized before the Palestinian question was solved, then the Palestinians would permanently be boxed out of the process.
02:18:59.000If Israel is enemies with Syria and Iran, If Israel is allies with the Saudis, the Emiratis, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, the rest of them, then the Palestinians would have no patron.
02:19:12.000They would have no one looking out for them at the negotiating table that could exert any kind of leverage over Israel.0.81
02:19:18.000In other words, Israel gets everything they want.
02:19:21.000They're integrated, normalized in the region.0.98
02:19:24.000And now the Palestinians are basically under their sole and exclusive jurisdiction.0.60
02:19:30.000So Hamas attacked Israel to specifically derail this deal.
02:19:36.000And so after Hamas attacked Israel, Israel launched their brutal assault on Gaza.
02:19:42.000And the attack on the Palestinians and this Palestinian national question.
02:19:46.000In the Muslim Arab world, made it politically impossible for the Saudis after that to then go and recognize the state of Israel.
02:19:57.000The Saudis, in particular, have a special role because that is the land of the Prophet.
02:20:03.000As we said, the Saudi king is the custodian of the mosque and Mecca and Medina, the two holiest sites in Islam.0.99
02:20:11.000So, for the king of that country to then recognize Israel and normalize relations with Israel as they're slaughtering Palestinians.0.99
02:20:20.000This national question is very near and dear to the hearts of Arabs and Muslims, it would be a national scandal.
02:20:28.000So that permanently has derailed, as of right now, Saudi Israel normalization.
02:20:33.000And as it stands, the Saudis insist that they will only normalize relations with Israel when Israel creates a permanent pathway to statehood for Palestine.
02:20:44.000And they're not going to normalize until that happens.
02:20:47.000So, what is interesting in this context, Is that Trump is now bypassing that requirement?
02:21:10.000They have to give Israel confidence that they will not become a problem by recognizing Israel's existence and sovereignty and statehood.
02:21:19.000And only then would the United States build Saudi Arabia's nuclear program for them.
02:21:26.000But it is in the middle of this conflict with Iran, and it's in the middle of the second Trump administration that Trump has waived that requirement.
02:22:27.000Because whether a country can enrich uranium determines whether they have the capability to weaponize.
02:22:34.000As it stands, under the current deal, we're not automatically giving them enrichment.
02:22:39.000What we will do under this deal is Saudi Arabia will import the already enriched nuclear fuel to use in their reactors, which cannot be used for a weapon.
02:22:51.000It would have to be enriched further in a nuclear centrifuge, which they will not possess.
02:22:57.000So, under the current deal, they will import the enriched uranium.
02:23:01.000And pending the results of a study, we will determine if it is economical or advantageous to have.
02:23:08.000Indigenous enrichment, whether the Saudis will have enrichment on their soil.
02:23:17.000We're telling Iran, you can have nuclear energy, you can keep your nuclear power plants, but you have to import the fuel.
02:23:24.000And something that we discussed with Iran last year and in the negotiations this year is whether they might put the centrifuges, which do the enriching, on one of their islands in the Persian Gulf.
02:23:45.000Well, if Iran is enriching uranium past the point that makes sense to be used for peaceful purposes and enriches it to a level of purity that it could be used in a weapon, if it's on one of their islands, then we could embargo the island or we could bomb the island.0.83
02:24:03.000We could prevent the enriched uranium from getting from the island to the shore.0.78
02:24:08.000Another idea that was floated is that Iran and the Saudis or the Emiratis would have something like a joint nuclear program, and the centrifuges would be on the Arabian Peninsula on the other side of the Persian Gulf under a black box.
02:24:24.000And what they mean by a black box is that the facility will be operated by the United States so that the Saudis don't have access to it, the Emiratis don't have access to it, they will not be able to have the technology in it.
02:24:39.000And again, that would enable us to shut down and control enrichment.0.66
02:24:43.000It's like we're exporting it to them from within their territory.
02:24:47.000And so the idea is they could jointly explore nuclear energy, but the enrichment would be in a friendly country in a black box controlled by us.0.92
02:24:58.000The Saudis and the Emiratis would also have it, and there would be no risk of them enriching it beyond what makes sense to use for peaceful purposes.
02:26:34.000There's another problem, too, because if we're gesturing towards a nuclear program in Saudi Arabia, everybody's going to draw the same conclusion.
02:26:43.000And whether we're committing to giving them enrichment right now or in two years, and whether it's a black box or not, Every other major player, every other middle power in the region is going to get very concerned about this too, not just Israel.
02:26:58.000And those countries are Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, the UAE.0.69
02:27:04.000And they have all said if Saudi Arabia gets a nuclear program, we're going to get one too.
02:27:09.000And this really makes Israel uncomfortable because it destabilizes the regional order.
02:27:15.000If the Saudis have nuclear energy and then the Emiratis want it and then Egypt wants it and then Turkey wants it, now you got four, five, maybe six countries that have nuclear programs Turkey, Iran, Egypt, Qatar, the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan already has a nuclear arsenal.
02:27:34.000Now you're monitoring all these different countries.
02:27:37.000And now they might all look to develop some kind of nuclear threshold status or a civilian nuclear program.0.77
02:27:45.000This makes Israel deeply uncomfortable because, of course, their major advantage in the Middle East is that they alone have nuclear weapons.0.57
02:27:53.000Israel has 200 to 300 nuclear warheads, Jericho missiles to mount them on, submarines that are armed with nuclear missiles.0.60
02:28:04.000And this gives them a strategic capability and deterrent that no other country has.
02:28:10.000And they need this desperately as an equalizer because they have a tiny population and a small economy and basically no territory.
02:28:33.000Turkey is massive, Iran is massive, Egypt is massive.
02:28:39.000So, for Israel to deter aggression from those countries, They need a nuclear arsenal.
02:28:45.000They need a strategic, and not only a nuclear arsenal, but they need a strategic capability that those other countries don't have.
02:28:52.000So, for the United States to even introduce nuclear energy to Saudi Arabia, it's extremely controversial.
02:29:00.000For them to bypass the requirement that Saudi recognizes Israel makes them deeply uncomfortable, and it potentially triggers an arms race in the region that destabilizes the regional order.
02:29:48.000Israel bombed Osirik in Iraq in 1981 because they surveilled Iraq's nuclear program, which was being built and funded by France.
02:29:58.000And they surveilled it clandestinely and covertly for years, determining, based on deductive reasoning, that Iraq might have ambitions for a nuclear weapon.
02:30:06.000So the idea that the Saudis have nuclear energy doesn't make them comfortable that it's in a black box or that they might not have enrichment or that they insist it's only for peaceful purposes, especially considering Mohammed bin Salman has said.
02:30:21.000That if Iran breaks out, then they're going to get a nuclear bomb too.0.57
02:30:26.000In other words, if Iran takes their peaceful nuclear program and turns it into a weapons program, the Saudis will do the same.0.70
02:30:33.000The UAE has said they will do the same.0.68
02:30:36.000And the Turks and the Egyptians, they will follow suit.
02:31:48.000Because Israel having the F 35s and Turkey not having them confers upon Israel a qualitative military edge.0.56
02:31:58.000Now, what the Trump administration is talking about with Turkey is we're going to give them five.0.84
02:32:03.000Turkey will not even be able to receive them or operate them for years.
02:32:09.000For them to get those jets, modernize their Air Force, create the military industrial complex in Turkey to support the maintenance of these planes, it's going to take years.
02:32:21.000There's not even a real concrete commitment to do this, and they're only getting five of them.
02:32:26.000It's not going to modernize their Air Force to just have five F 35 fighter jets.
02:32:31.000But the reason this is problematic is because what it represents.
02:32:36.000Is that Israel no longer has a qualitative advantage over Turkey?
02:32:42.000Maybe they have a quantitative advantage.
02:32:43.000They have more F 35s than Turkey does, but they have the same planes.
02:32:51.000That's a problem because Turkey and Israel are rivals now.
02:32:55.000They're competing for influence in the Eastern Mediterranean, they're competing for influence in Syria, they're competing for influence in Cyprus.
02:33:03.000This is becoming a theater of geopolitical competition between these two countries.0.66
02:33:08.000And so that Trump went to Turkey, was warmly received by Erdogan, is still promising to give them F 35s.
02:33:16.000Again, he has not actually committed to giving them F 35s.
02:33:21.000He's given them a vague promise that he might.
02:33:24.000Even if they authorized the transfer, a lot would need to happen.
02:34:40.000You don't need to make peace with Israel.0.98
02:34:42.000We're going to give you a civilian nuclear energy program.0.82
02:34:45.000You don't have to say two words to Israel.0.88
02:34:48.000And the kicker is, we're not giving them enrichment.0.98
02:34:52.000We're not giving it to them right away because that would be the really alarming aspect of it is whether they have indigenous enrichment, native enrichment capability, just like the F 35s.0.74
02:35:03.000We're not really giving Turkey the F 35s.0.66
02:35:31.000If you can't create balance in the Middle East, then we will look to Turkey and Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and Qatar and the UAE because there are other middle powers in this region too.0.95
02:35:44.000So I think this is pointed at Israel at once.0.82
02:35:46.000It's also pointed at Iran because what we're witnessing right now, as we've talked about in As the war has gone on, fundamentally, the conflict with Iran is about their breakout capability.0.85
02:36:03.000We need regime change so that we can get a regime that doesn't want a nuclear weapon.0.57
02:36:08.000Why do we bomb them last year so we could destroy their facilities that might create a nuclear weapon?0.82
02:36:14.000Why do we need to get control over the Strait of Hormuz so that we could attack them again if they try to get a nuclear weapon and then Iran can't shut down the Strait and use that against us like they did this time?0.96
02:36:28.000Has the capability to get a nuclear bomb.
02:36:30.000And so, what we're confronting right now is that we might have to walk away from the conflict, and it very well may be the case that Iran could enrich uranium.0.76
02:36:41.000The way it is right now, let's say we walk away from the Strait of Hormuz, Iran gets it, maybe they don't.0.70
02:36:49.000We're not going to topple the Iranian regime.0.95
02:36:51.000It's not going to happen without a ground war.0.97
02:36:53.000It's not going to happen even if we kill the remaining leadership, it's not going to happen even if we bomb them another 15,000 times.0.88
02:37:01.000We may have to walk away from the conflict, accepting the reality that Iran will excavate their nuclear facilities, resume enrichment, and expand their stockpile of highly enriched uranium.0.82
02:37:15.000And there's going to be little that we could do militarily to intervene and arrest this.0.82
02:37:22.000Is that if we walk away, which everybody wants us to do, and which it seems like we sort of have to, like I said, there's no military option.
02:37:30.000We can't bring them to their knees economically.
02:37:44.000They're going to rebuild all of their deterrent capabilities, these nested defensive capabilities.
02:37:51.000And it's going to make it really inconvenient for us to try to attack them again.
02:37:55.000If we want to or think about attacking them in six months, nine months, 12 months, it's going to get really ugly.
02:38:03.000Because it's going to be a repeat of what happened in February.
02:38:06.000They're going to have just as many, if not more, drones and missiles.
02:38:09.000The proxies will be stronger then than they are now.0.60
02:38:14.000And what that means is that in the meantime, you know, as Iran grows stronger defensively, Iran is going to be going to work at their nuclear facilities, excavating their stockpile of uranium, excavating their centrifuges.
02:38:29.000They're going to resume enrichment.0.59
02:38:31.000And so we have to assume not only in 12 months are they going to rebuild all their defensive capabilities, which is going to make it almost unacceptable to intervene against them again, or if we do intervene, it's going to be extremely costly.
02:38:44.000We'll also have to assume they're further along towards creating a primitive nuclear device, that they'll either have more nuclear fuel or they'll have a primitive device ready to detonate.0.69
02:38:57.000And so maybe this is also a hedge against Iran, which is to say, look, If Iran is going to have enrichment, well, guess what?0.82
02:39:57.000If in nine months we want to go back to war against Iran because we fear they're going to get a nuclear bomb, how is Iran going to stop us?0.95
02:40:05.000Well, they're going to stop us by closing the strait because it'll destroy the global economy.0.91
02:40:10.000They're going to stop the Gulf countries from intervening by launching hundreds of missiles at them and destroying their infrastructure, which the Saudis and Emiratis can't shoot down, and it'll destroy their economy.0.63
02:40:21.000Israel will be deterred from intervening because Iran will launch missiles at them, and Iran will get Hezbollah to launch rockets at Israel in Lebanon.0.54
02:40:31.000They'll get the Houthis in Yemen to launch rockets at Israel from Yemen, and that will prevent Israel from getting involved.0.73
02:40:39.000Iran is putting all these countries in check.0.87
02:40:42.000So that they can continue their advance towards a nuclear bomb.0.88
02:40:46.000But if we give the Saudis nuclear enrichment, then that puts Iran in check doing that.0.90
02:40:53.000Why would Iran not cross the finish line, not become a nuclear state?0.78
02:40:59.000Because if they do, then that would mean that their adversaries on the other side of the Gulf are going to get nukes too.0.85
02:41:05.000And so let's say the big idea is that Iran is going to get a nuclear arsenal and they're going to use them against Israel.0.87
02:41:11.000Well, if they use them against Israel, then the Saudis will use them against Iran.0.74
02:41:15.000And the Emiratis will use them against Iran.0.67
02:41:18.000You'll have nuclear warheads in the Arabian Peninsula right across from the Persian Gulf.
02:41:24.000And maybe that's the big idea, but I don't think it's a very good idea, to be honest.0.77
02:41:31.000I never thought that was really the best way to go about it, only because nuclear proliferation is something that once the genie's out of the bottle, it doesn't go back in.0.64
02:41:43.000North Korea became a nuclear state, now it's never going to not exist.0.58
02:42:35.000Is it a good idea that Pakistanis have nuclear bombs?1.00
02:42:39.000Well, it's maybe a better idea than Indians having them, but it's still not a good idea.0.98
02:42:44.000It's a horrible situation that India and Pakistan, two countries that hate each other and have border skirmishes all the time and commit terrorism on each other's soil and have disputed borders and territory, have nuclear arsenals pointed at each other.0.98
02:42:57.000But again, it's never going to go in the other direction.0.55
02:43:00.000It's already bad enough that Israel has nuclear bombs.0.85
02:43:03.000As a matter of fact, it is that Israel has a nuclear arsenal which has created all the instability in the Middle East.0.91
02:43:11.000Israel successfully detonated a nuclear device in 1965, maybe 1966.0.97
02:43:18.000We're not sure exactly when they broke out, or somewhere between 64 and 66.0.97
02:43:24.000And this is why, probably, Iraq wanted a nuclear arsenal.0.86
02:43:28.000And that's why we were at war against Iraq for decades.0.84
02:43:33.000And that is why Syria wanted nuclear weapons.0.86
02:43:35.000And that is why Iran wanted nuclear weapons.0.74
02:43:37.000And that is why Libya wanted nuclear weapons.0.78
02:43:40.000That Israel got them in the 60s triggered an arms race that is going on until this day.0.89
02:46:07.000Like I said, I don't know that the Trump administration is going to give the Saudis nuclear enrichment, but I think it's very obvious the timing of it.
02:46:16.000And what they had to do to get this deal.
02:46:19.000By the way, Congress still has to authorize the deal.
02:46:23.000Congress may not even give the green light on the deal.
02:46:27.000But I think the timing of the announcement, why they did it now, and why they bypassed the previous requirements, I think it has everything to do with the war.
02:46:37.000It's really a three or four way conflict when people think it's about us and Iran.
02:46:43.000It's Israel, it's Iran, it's the United States, and it's the Gulf countries.
02:46:46.000And even within the Gulf countries, there's quite a bit of division.
02:46:50.000But it's really a three or four way conflict when you reason it out.
02:46:56.000Talking about F 35s for Turkey, and then literally within a month talking about uranium enrichment in Saudi Arabia, the message is very clear.0.67
02:47:05.000They're sending a message to Iran, which is be careful what you wish for.0.86
02:47:10.000If you want to become a nuclear breakout state, you're going to have two or three big problems across the Persian Gulf.0.82
02:47:18.000And it's simultaneously a message to Israel, which is if you don't want to be a good ally, then we will look elsewhere.0.83
02:47:24.000We will look towards Turkey, we will look towards Saudi Arabia, Qatar.
02:47:30.000And there will be ramifications for this.
02:47:32.000Like I said, giving the Saudis nuclear energy, Egypt will look into this, Turkey will look into this, and that will put nuclear energy on all of Israel's borders: North and Turkey, South and Egypt, East and Saudi Arabia.0.92
02:47:47.000And that's the absolute last thing they want.0.87
02:47:50.000So that's definitely putting pressure on them.
02:48:40.000They want to annex it and claim formal control over it.
02:48:44.000And they want to claim formal control over the Strait, one, because it makes money, but also because then they will reserve the right to close the Strait in the future to deter future U.S. aggression.
02:48:56.000If the United States ever thinks or dreams of trying regime change against Iran again, they will claim the legal authority to close the Strait all over again.
02:49:05.000And that Potentiality will deter the United States from considering another attack on Iran.
02:49:11.000So, Iran said, Look, the strait is open, but it's still closed.
02:49:15.000Under the MOU, Iran was telling everybody, Yes, the strait is open, but it's open under our control.
02:49:22.000If you want to use the strait, you need our permission.0.72
02:49:25.000And that would set the precedent that Iran controls it.0.80
02:49:29.000If Iran can demand that a commercial ship needs their permission to transit the strait now, then that means in the future, Iran can charge money and Iran could also refuse.0.66
02:49:41.000So Iran is deliberately taking advantage, trying to set this precedent, formally annex the strait.
02:49:48.000The United States and Oman opened up another route in the strait to bypass this.0.59
02:49:53.000And Iran was attacking every ship that didn't get permission from them because this was undermining their authority over the strait and fundamentally undermining their bargaining power against the United States.
02:50:05.000So the United States said, look, you're not opening the strait.
02:50:08.000You're effectively closing the strait by attacking commercial shipping with these drones and missiles.
02:50:15.000So the Trump administration said if you vow never to do this again, we'll leave you alone and we'll negotiate.
02:50:22.000But if you continue attacking commercial shipping, then it's on.0.61
02:50:26.000And Iran continued attacking commercial shipping, so we started bombing their southwestern coast.0.82
02:50:31.000And we've been bombing their coast for 12 days.
02:50:35.000And how are we fighting the conflict?0.93
02:50:37.000Like we've talked about, we're bombing their southwestern coast because these are the positions from where Iran is launching the drones and missiles.0.84
02:50:48.000So we're not bombing the interior of the country, we're not bombing Tehran, we're not bombing the nuclear sites.0.94
02:50:54.000We're bombing the missile and drone launch platforms on the coast and on the islands, Greater and Lesser Tongue, Hormuz Island, Keshem Island, some of the islands in the Strait, in the Gulf, and the southwestern coast in the port cities to suppress Iran's ability to fire on the ships.0.62
02:51:14.000Here's the problem with this strategy it's not working.0.73
02:51:19.000For the past 12 days, we've been bombing the southwestern coast in a bid to prevent Iran from being able to attack shipping in the Strait.0.72
02:51:28.000Simultaneously, we're also doing this to compel them to return to the negotiating table and make a deal to actually open up the strait to freedom of navigation.0.81
02:51:38.000But the problem with the strategy is it's just not working.
02:51:42.000Bombing their southwestern coast is doing nothing to prevent them from attacking commercial shipping.
02:51:48.000They just have too many drones, too many missiles.
02:51:56.000Nothing we're doing is meaningfully changing the situation on the battlefield.
02:52:01.000It's also not weakening their resolve.
02:52:04.000The Pentagon said to the Wall Street Journal today that there is no credible belief inside the Pentagon that any further attacks on Iran will deter them from shutting down the Strait.
02:53:01.000If we're moving all of our assets away from the battlefield, then that means it's going to take us longer to get to Iran.0.84
02:53:09.000That we're trying to push their drone and missile launch sites further into the interior of their country away from the coast.0.71
02:53:17.000They're pushing our bases further away from Iran outside these Gulf countries outwardly into the Middle East.0.91
02:53:28.000And like has been demonstrated by the casualties the past couple of days, Iran is able to bypass our air defenses.0.95
02:53:37.000That there are, I believe it's now, it's another six.0.95
02:53:41.000Five or six dead Americans since the MOU collapsed.0.93
02:53:46.000What this says, without saying it, is that Iran is able to bypass our defenses.0.94
02:53:52.000They're able to impact our bases and kill people.0.85
02:53:57.000They're targeting apparently CIA stations that Russia has given them, targeting data to do this.
02:54:03.000And it's making us push everything further back, which means that it's more risky and more expensive and more dangerous to send our aircraft over.
02:54:12.000Further stretches of territory to get to Iran to carry out these attacks.
02:54:39.000So we're looking to bring an end to this.0.97
02:54:42.000We need to get Iran to the table, but there's nothing that we could do militarily that's working.
02:54:47.000Now, what also goes without saying in all of this is that what the administration is doing is calibrating.0.69
02:54:54.000That's a very important word because we are not bombing them as hard now as we were when the war started.
02:55:01.000When the war started, it was fire and fury, shock and awe, killing the leadership, bombing all the military and regime targets, sinking their navy.
02:55:12.000We were just pounding them as hard as possible to try to scare them into submission.
02:55:17.000We're not really doing that right now.
02:55:20.000What we're doing right now is very calibrated.
02:55:22.000Like we talked about yesterday, Israel's not intervening because they understand this is a contained conflict.
02:55:29.000We're hitting them a little bit specifically to suppress their fire on the straight and to compel them to negotiate.
02:55:39.000We're fighting to get them back to the table.
02:55:41.000We're not fighting even to achieve a military objective, a strategic objective.
02:55:46.000We're hitting them, trying to inflict pain to pressure them to make a deal.
02:55:52.000And so, what that means is it is a contained and narrow conflict.
02:55:58.000We're not hitting them as hard as we can, we're not hitting them with everything we've got.
02:56:03.000We're hitting them in some parts of the country in a limited way to suppress a specific capability that we would like to negotiate with them about.0.65
02:56:16.000Now, what Trump announced today, this is how he's changing it up.
02:56:19.000So he needs to escalate, but he needs to escalate in a way that doesn't create another all out war and destroy the Gulf countries.
02:56:28.000Trump says that going forward, if Iran harasses shipping in the Strait for every commercial vessel that they target, Trump says we're now going to attack one piece of civilian infrastructure in Iran.
02:56:40.000He said, for every ship that's attacked, we're going to destroy one bridge or one power plant.
02:56:48.000It says, quote, President Trump threatened on Wednesday to destroy one Iranian bridge or power plant, including in Tehran, each time Iran attacks a ship in the Strait of Hormuz.
02:57:00.000U.S. Central Command said Iran has attacked more than 30 commercial vessels over the past three months.
02:57:06.000Trump said today, quote, From this point forward, anytime the Islamic Republic of Iran shoots at a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, whether it be by missile, rocket, drone, or any other device or weapon, the U.S. will bomb and destroy one bridge or power plant, including those located next to or in the capital city of Tehran.
02:57:26.000The U.S. has already bombed bridges in southern Iran over the past 11 days of fighting.
02:57:31.000Targeting power plants and striking Tehran would mark another escalation.
02:57:35.000Attacking Tehran would likely lead to an even wider retaliation.
02:57:40.000Mohammad Khalibaf, the Iranian Speaker of Parliament and Chief Negotiator, wrote on X that the Strait of Hormuz will not return to its pre war status.
02:57:49.000He said, In a region where we cannot sell oil, no one will sell oil.
02:57:53.000If our security is not guaranteed, no infrastructure will be safe.
02:57:57.000The security of the Strait depends on the absence of U.S. forces.
02:58:02.000Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragh, she said, Iran's defense doctrine is eye for an eye and threaten countries that actively support U.S. attacks against Iran.
02:58:12.000So previously, Trump said that there's going to be a major escalation next week.
02:58:18.000He said that if Iran does not stand down, then next week there's going to be a major escalation, and this will consist in attacking civilian infrastructure.
02:58:27.000But now he's modifying even that, and he's saying it's not going to be a blanket attack on bridges and power plants and refineries.
02:58:36.000He says it's going to be proportional and contained.
02:58:40.000He says if you attack one ship, we'll attack one bridge.
02:58:43.000You attack one ship, We attack one power plant.
02:58:48.000This principle of proportionality signals that just like the ongoing attacks, it's contained.
02:58:57.000There's not actually a strategic objective.0.81
02:59:00.000Again, we're not going after Iran and saying, listen, we're going to blow up all your bridges, we're going to blow up all your power plants.0.91
02:59:09.000Because the strategic objective there might be if we destroy all your infrastructure, then your regime collapses.0.99
02:59:16.000We're going to kill all your leadership.0.99
02:59:18.000Disable your command, control, and communications.0.99
02:59:20.000We're going to destroy all the infrastructure, destroy all the revenue.
02:59:52.000If you invade or if there's civil unrest, then the response is not organized.
02:59:59.000So that would be an example of a strategic objective.
03:00:02.000We're going to bomb all your transportation infrastructure, all your electrical infrastructure, your energy to deprive the regime of money, to prevent the regime from enforcing order, and in order to create chaos so that the regime collapses.
03:00:18.000But that's not what the administration is doing.
03:00:21.000They're saying it's going to be one for one.
03:00:24.000And what's the purpose of this contained proportional way of fighting?
03:00:28.000What's the purpose of the doctrine?0.97
03:00:34.000If every time Iran attacks a vessel, if they attack 33 vessels in the strait, then we're creating a pretext to destroy 33 power plants and bridges, incrementally and gradually causing harm so that we can increase pressure.0.97
03:00:53.000So, we can incrementally increase the pressure.0.92
03:00:56.000We're not going to unload and destroy all your infrastructure, but if Iran keeps it up, if we are moving commercial vessels through the strait and they're attacking them en masse, then their infrastructure is going to be destroyed en masse.0.88
03:01:12.000It's going to meaningfully impact their ability to maintain public order.
03:01:16.000And that's going to create meaningful pressure on the regime to come to the table.
03:01:20.000It might become untenable at a certain point for them to attack.
03:01:23.000Commercial shipping, which is how they're enforcing their control over the Strait.0.99
03:01:28.000But the Iranians are telling us okay, you can bomb, if we bomb one ship and you bomb one bridge, well, then we're just going to bomb something in Saudi Arabia.0.84
03:01:41.000And so this is the problem whether we bomb all of Iran's civilian infrastructure and they bomb all of Saudi Arabia's civilian infrastructure, or whether we bomb one bridge and Iran bombs one bridge in Saudi Arabia, it really doesn't matter.0.86
03:01:58.000Because all that's happening is we're just trading here.0.82
03:02:29.000The reason we cannot attack Iranian civilian infrastructure, which would be the escalation, is that they will do the same thing to the Gulf, which is unacceptable.0.90
03:02:39.000And again, so whether we do it all at once or whether we do it piece by piece, It's the same problem.0.85
03:02:59.000But air and sea power can only do so much attacking military and regime targets.0.93
03:03:03.000Well, we can expand the target bank to include civilian infrastructure, but then Iran does the same thing to us, and we can't prevent it.0.90
03:03:11.000And it's catastrophic for the UAE, for Saudi Arabia, for the United States.0.95
03:03:18.000And what this tells us, maybe fundamentally, is that there's still no plan.
03:03:48.000Because what it feels like now is we're either going to totally surrender.0.79
03:03:51.000Or we have to invade Iran or nuke Iran.0.81
03:03:55.000It feels like those are the two options.
03:03:58.000And the Trump administration is trying to thread the needle and they're not doing a good job.
03:04:03.000And it seems like they just don't know.
03:04:04.000They're hoping that Iran will just fall for some sort of trick and make a deal where they agree to something that they don't really want to do.
03:04:12.000Like that seems to be one approach we're going to do these meetings and negotiations and mediators.
03:04:18.000And fundamentally, what we're telling them is, hey, open up the straight.
03:04:24.000And we're saying, well, what if we like write it a different way?
03:04:28.000We're essentially trying to trick them into agreeing to something that they don't want to do, which is to open up the strait to freedom of navigation.
03:04:36.000And we're saying, please open up the strait.
03:04:38.000And they're saying, well, we'll open it, but we'll control it.
03:04:40.000And we're saying, well, not like that.
03:07:22.000We're sort of lining up everything that we have to create this situation where Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz to allied shipping on our side.
03:07:32.000So we blockaded the Strait and we're shutting down all Iranian link shipping.
03:08:50.000As this happens, as we speak, the United States is deploying more F 16s, more F 35s into the region, deploying more medics to Germany, which is where wounded soldiers are evacuated to.
03:09:01.000They're deploying more refueling aircraft, more aerial tankers to the Middle East.
03:09:05.000We're getting ready for a major escalation.
03:09:07.000And I think that's the only way it goes at this point.
03:11:48.000Who will not put America first, then we can be assured that other nations will not treat America with respect, the respect that we deserve.
03:12:03.000The American people will come first once again.
03:12:15.000It's one of my favorite speeches he ever gave at the RNC.
03:12:22.000I'll never forget that week because, so, you know, historically, when they do the convention, the candidate doesn't give a speech until the last day of the convention.
03:12:33.000So, the convention, I think it starts on a Monday, ends on a Thursday, or something like that.
03:12:38.000And typically, the candidate doesn't speak until the final day.
03:12:42.000And so, I remember I was at my parents' house.
03:12:46.000I was watching the speech in the basement on the big TV, and I'm on Twitter, and I'm just not really paying attention.
03:14:47.000And he comes up, and the stage comes up, and he's got all the flags behind him, and he gets up to the podium, and he's like, oh, we're going to win.
03:22:29.000You have to understand that that's what it's all about.
03:22:33.000And the reason I say this is because a lot of people like, you know, Hunter Biden, when Hunter Biden and I talked, one of the questions he asked me is, okay, you don't like Trump now.
03:22:56.000In 2016, he was going to be our champion, he was going to destroy the corruption, he was going to deliver real change.
03:23:03.000And I think that, you know, there's a lot of people like Hunter Biden on the left, but also there's a lot of people on the right that are so fed up with Trump, they almost want to throw the baby out with the bathwater and they want to say, well, he was always a scam artist and blah, blah.
03:23:18.000Be that as it may, he was tapping into something that was real.
03:29:49.000So, when are you and Sneeko going one on one at 18 Ross's boxing event with Rabbi Mies where he has the ref and Dan Kazarian as one of the judges?
03:29:55.000And then, and then, and then who's going to be the ring girl?
03:42:42.000Would you support Armenia using nuclear power solely for military deterrence because it's a predominantly Christian nation surrounded by enemies, Muslims, and has values similar to the United States?0.97
03:49:34.000As always, thank you to our top super chatters.
