01:32:59.000And according to Israeli intelligence, Old Reliable, according to our dear friend Israel, Iran has moved their centrifuges from the facility at Natanz just south to Pickaxe Mountain, where those centrifuges may or may not be operational.
01:33:19.000Since the IAEA inspectors were ejected last summer, we have no idea how many centrifuges survived and where they are and how many are operational and what the status is of that.
01:33:29.000But over the past 13 months, Iran has been fast at work upgrading this facility, trying to bring it online.
01:33:37.000And it presents a real strategic problem because it's under 450 feet of granite, of solid granite.
01:33:45.000So it is even more fortified than those other facilities we hit last year.

01:33:52.000We couldn't hit Fordo, we couldn't hit Natanz because they're under hundreds of feet of earth inside mountains.

01:46:48.000Biden wins in 20, he gets destroyed in 22.

01:47:00.000After he gets in to get his act together, because then they're going to start talking about moderating to win the midterms because they can't afford to lose something like five or six seats or else they lose the majority.

02:17:55.000So, as you know, the situation is that we are still in the stalemate.
02:17:59.000And the stalemate is that Iran has seized control of the Strait of Hormuz.
02:18:04.000They will not allow it to open for freedom of navigation.
02:18:07.000They will not let commercial shipping transit the Strait without their approval and eventually without paying a fee.
02:18:14.000This is a big problem for the United States.
02:18:17.000And so, what we are trying to do is increase pressure on Iran to increase our leverage so that we can get them to open up the Strait on our terms.0.51
02:18:29.000That's really what this is a stalemate.0.76
02:18:31.000Iran is closing the strait with drones and missiles.0.90

02:23:04.000They have this massive stockpile of highly enriched uranium, and they were adding to it basically the equivalent of one atomic bomb worth of highly enriched uranium every single month.
02:23:16.000And they've been doing this ever since we left the Iranian nuclear deal in 2018.
02:23:21.000They've been gradually increasing the level of enrichment and the amount of material and the pace at which they're doing all this.
02:23:27.000And so this is why we intervened last year.
02:23:30.000And partly we intervened this year as a follow up.
02:23:33.000We had to go back in there because we weren't confident we destroyed their nuclear program.
02:23:38.000We knew the regime had not abandoned its ambitions for a weapons program.
02:23:43.000And so the idea was we would topple the regime, and that way we don't really have to worry about the status of the program because the next regime isn't pursuing a weapon.0.56
02:23:52.000Well, as long as this is going on, we have now apparently received intelligence from Israel that Iran has moved some of their nuclear centrifuges into a previously undisclosed facility at a place called Pickaxe Mountain.
02:24:11.000Pickaxe Mountain is three miles south of Natanz.
02:24:15.000And this facility they're building is something like 300 to 450 feet underground, under solid granite, under rock, under a mountain.
02:24:26.000And so, Fordow and Natanz, the other facilities we hit last year, these were like 150, 200 feet underground.
02:24:32.000This is like one and a half, two times deeper than that.
02:24:42.000And if there are centrifuges, what kind and whether they're operational.
02:24:48.000And the reason this is concerning is because while we're playing around in the Strait of Hormuz and while we're bombing their drone and launch sites and while they're attacking us and we have all these other concerns, in the meantime, over the past 13 to 14 months, they have been at work rebuilding this facility at Pickaxe Mountain so that they can enrich uranium there.0.84
02:25:11.000And what this means is if this is an impregnable, impenetrable fortress, and if we don't get the result that we want from Iran, if we don't get a nuclear deal, if we don't get compliance, Then, what they've effectively done is they've hid their nuclear program away where we can never touch it.0.84
02:25:29.000If we can't go back to war, and even if we do, if we can't hit this facility, then it basically guarantees that Iran will be able to covertly and clandestinely have a nuclear breakout, that they will be able to achieve enough highly enriched uranium for a bomb, weapons grade uranium, and then they'll be able to weaponize it, miniaturize it, make a primitive warhead, and then they'll be able to declare that they're now a nuclear state.0.79

02:26:33.000You know, normally I wouldn't say that.
02:26:35.000If I thought they could do something about it, I would never say that.

02:26:41.000Trump said the U.S. thinks Iran may have stored centrifuges at the site, but added, We don't have it on record.
02:26:48.000Even if Iran did, he said, quote, It doesn't mean anything unless they have nuclear material, which he said they do not.
02:26:55.000The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday that Israel provided the U.S. with intelligence.
02:27:00.000Suggesting that Iran has moved thousands of centrifuges into Pickaxe Mountain.
02:27:05.000U.S. officials say Trump is nearing a fork in the Iran war with two options he is considering.
02:27:11.000Option one, pursue a new 10 day ceasefire aimed at reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
02:27:17.000Qatar, Egypt, and Pakistan and other regional mediators are urging him to do so.
02:27:22.000Option number two, launch a massive joint military campaign with Israel to try to force Tehran to capitulate.
02:27:29.000Trump signaled on Tuesday he is leaning toward the second choice.
02:27:32.000He expressed no interest in restarting negotiations with.
02:28:07.0002015, Obama and John Kerry make a nuclear agreement with Iran, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
02:28:14.000It sunsets in 10 years in roughly 2026, late 2025, early 2026.
02:28:22.000And the terms of the JCPOA govern Iran's ability to enrich.
02:28:25.000It says Iran can keep enrichment, but they can only enrich up to 3.67%.
02:28:31.000We're going to have very intrusive inspections and monitoring of the program to ensure they're not enriching above that level or more than they're supposed to.
02:28:39.000That all their nuclear sites will be declared to international monitors, will know where they're enriching and how much, and will have verification that they're in compliance, and we will reward their compliance with sanctions relief as the deal is implemented over time.
02:31:12.000So Iran is building up the stockpile of 60% enriched uranium.
02:31:15.000They're enriching beyond the limitations of the deal.
02:31:18.000They're creating a stockpile bigger than what's allowed under the deal.
02:31:21.000They're not abiding by all the inspections requirements.
02:31:25.000And so the Trump administration and Israel say, we got to get this under control.
02:31:30.000And so Trump tells Iran, you got 60 days to make a nuclear deal, and you're going to give up enrichment, you're going to give up the stockpile, or else we're going to war.
02:31:41.00060 days expires, and Trump tries to keep making a deal, but Israel starts a war the first day outside that 60 day deadline.
02:31:49.000They launch this all out attack on Iran, and it starts a war between Iran and Israel.
02:31:54.000Israel starts to lose the war because Iran is raining ballistic missiles down on them.
02:31:58.000It's something like an 87 to 92 percent interception rate.
02:32:03.000Many of the missiles are getting through.
02:32:38.000After those strikes, Iran expels all of the international monitors.
02:32:43.000They expel all the IAEA inspectors, and so we don't even know what happened.
02:32:48.000We don't know how much we damaged these sites.
02:32:50.000We don't know whether they're operational, how long they take to rebuild, whether there are other sites that were undeclared, how many centrifuges they have and where they are, where the enriched uranium is.
02:33:00.000We believe we know where it is, but we're not totally sure.
02:33:03.000We believe it's inaccessible, but we're not 100% sure how inaccessible it is.
02:33:10.000And Iran is not in compliance with the deal, according to the IAEA report last June.
02:33:15.000So, once again, we're in the same cycle.
02:33:18.000After the strike in June, we start having the same concerns, which is if we don't have eyes on them, then we know they're building 300 missiles a month.
02:33:29.000And we know that they're probably excavating their centrifuges.
02:33:32.000And maybe there are centrifuges we don't even know about.
02:33:36.000So, Israel and Trump get back together and say, we got to go in all over again.
02:33:42.000And the Trump administration says, well, rather than bomb the nuclear facilities again and rather than bomb the missiles, he says, let's just topple the regime.0.59
02:33:51.000If we can eliminate the regime, then we don't need to worry about their nuclear ambitions because they'll be dead.
02:33:56.000How could they get a nuclear bomb if all the people that want it are dead and we install a new regime that is loyal to us because we propelled it into power and they're no longer worried about deterring a U.S. Israel attack because it'll be a puppet state?0.87

02:36:56.000In a few years, they could spin up another stockpile of highly enriched uranium and then they can make a bomb.
02:37:04.000And if we know that they're doing this, if we anticipate this is happening, we'll be powerless to intervene.0.63
02:37:10.000Because to violate their airspace, to attack them, would be to guarantee the Strait of Hormuz gets closed again, guarantee that the Gulf countries get bombed again, guarantee that Israel gets blown up, guarantee that all our bases get destroyed again.0.52

02:42:29.000In the security meeting convened by Prime Minister Netanyahu on Monday night, defense officials told the forum that there is an active debate in Tehran over whether to bring Israel into the line of fire.

02:42:44.000Finance Minister Bezalal Smotrich said Israel has no interest in joining the contained confrontation between Iran and the United States.
02:42:52.000The current situation is the best one for us.
02:42:57.000Oh, now they have no interest, they say.
02:43:00.000As Iran's foreign minister has indicated publicly, Israel has shown that its intelligence services have penetrated the regime deeply.
02:43:07.000If Israel is forced into the fight by an Iranian attack or given the green light by Trump, It could well have more tricks up its sleeve, something comparable to the secret drone base it set up within Iran ahead of the 2025 Operation Rising Lion.
02:43:21.000Moreover, despite Trump's stream of threats, the U.S. attacks are limited, focused primarily on the capabilities that allow Iran to threaten Hormuz.

02:43:37.000So, in other words, the Israelis are saying, well, Iran doesn't want any part of this, because if Iran attacks us, we'll take the gloves off.

02:44:29.000They knocked out half of the military and civilian leadership of the country.
02:44:33.000The Israelis, it's not that they're not interested in a conflict with Iran, they're not interested in a contained conflict with Iran with limited objectives.
02:44:44.000What is the Trump administration trying to do?
02:44:46.000The administration is trying to compel Iran to make a deal.
02:44:52.000As we've talked about, Israel actually does not want a deal because a deal would imply.
02:44:57.000That Iran will normalize its relations with its neighbors, become interdependent economically with its neighbors, will become integrated in the community of nations.
02:45:08.000And what that means fundamentally is that Iran is never going away.
02:45:12.000And if Iran is never going away, that's a big problem for Israel because Iran is a big and powerful country.
02:45:22.000They have a lot of technical experts, a lot of intellectuals.
02:45:27.000They have blueprints for nuclear centrifuges and reactors.
02:45:32.000And Iran has influence in all the countries in the Middle East with Shiite populations, which is almost all of them Iraq, Bahrain, Saudi's eastern province, the northwest of Yemen, western coast of Syria.0.66

02:49:36.000We don't need to implement an opening of the Strait of Hormuz because you're in violation of the deal.
02:49:42.000So Israel hated the deal because they wanted more war.
